Over 100K traded in the first 15 minutes. Not a shabby way to start the day.
Thanks, Steve, for clarifying. That fits with my recollection of talking with her a few weeks ago.
She chooses her words carefully. I doubt she would let that slip if she knew.
Honestly, I don't think our votes will sway any proposal. Just vote for what you think is right.
I've gotten four calls. Finally voted today.
You have no idea what will happen. That's okay.
Over 120K in the last 7 minutes.
I'm just watching the numbers go up and up.
If a buyout is in the works, I'd hope the PPS would be at a place where we could get the best price. I just don't see it here. I do think we'll see a new CEO before a buyout, though.
Maybe put off until the meeting?
Maybe you should try it.
Yes. I'm hoping there will be an announcement before the meeting. The CMO, though, I'm surprised it's taking this long.
His replies were fairly short. He thanked me for my input and reiterated his commitment to creating shareholder value. I appreciated that he took the time to respond.
I have sent him two emails and received replies. I believe others here have, also.
We should!
IR. I did not ask for the dates.
The search for a new CEO has been ongoing and some candidates were interviewed. It would not be a stretch of imagination to believe there will be an announcement soon.
Got a call from them on my VM. They recommended voting yes for all proposals.
Canine OS more than doubled. Anal cancer mostly progression free. CR's in advanced cervical cancer. Do you think it's not sound?
I did see only two upcoming events. I seem to remember there being three and I can't recall the third one. I don't know about the meeting being changed, though.
If Amgen bailed and all institutions sold, I would agree. Amgen is still with the company and, yes, there has been institutional selling but some also buying. I, like many others, am in the hole. I try to remain as positive as I can that the PPS will turn around. I believe a new CEO with the proper background can do it. I also believe that the science is sound. There are some here who seem to be waiting for the company's death-rattle. I choose not to be that person. I have no right to tell anyone else what they should or shouldn't do but I can also get caught up in the emotional discussions here. So, I am of a different opinion of what will happen with the company. I hope we all get our money back and more and I hope cancer patients have a new, effective and affordable option for treatment. GLTA!
James, I am inclined to be of the same opinion. I had thought, at first, the shares were being issued to allow the shorts to cover. The amount of shares to be sold seemed to coincide with that theory. However, if two big funds bought in, that rather throws off my first thought. I believe the raise was done to ensure the new CEO (yes, I believe we see an announcement before the meeting) has more of a cash runway when he or she takes the reins.
Whatever the reason we will know very soon.
I was of two theories. One was, Big Tony was backed into a corner and was forced to make this deal to allow the shorts to cover. Theory number two, and more probable, is Advaxis is getting their ducks in a row so, when the new CEO steps in, he or she will have one less issue to worry about. From what I've read, many here expect the announcement of a new CEO soon. I'm inclined to agree.
You had me at $5.2 billion..."Mr. Panayiotopoulos most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of ARIAD Pharmaceuticals Inc., where he led approximately a five-fold multiple in market value in one year and the acquisition by Takeda Pharmaceuticals for $5.2 billion in February 2017."
Paristopolis?
You may have hit the nail on the head.
Thanks for your explanation. Very much appreciated!
1/3 of the average volume traded in the first 30 minutes is pretty good, IMO.
Close to 350,000 shares traded already.
My interactions with Noelle have always been positive. I have found to be very pleasant and professional. When I told her I refer to Lombardo as Big Tony, I got quite a laugh out of her.
I'm guessing, with nothing to really back it up, that the shares will be used to cover short shares and that's why 10M.
Or, they could be new positions. If that's the case, I find it interesting.
Two more new jobs?

Big Tony strikes me as being conservative with cash outlay. Something's got to be up, IMHO.
I would like to see a teaser of the data just to create some anticipation.
I also found this interesting:
"In particular, early dialogue and timely preparation for
conditional applications could support prompt assessment and generation of the required post-authorisation data, and further efforts could target those therapeutic areas that so far have
not been successful in applying this regulatory tool."
I believe we've had quite a bit of early dialogue.
You have absolutely no idea of the chance of approval.
They have been very quiet but all the hiring has me wondering what they're up to and I mean, in a good way.
That has always puzzled me. The OS survival more than doubled for those dogs who responded to the vaccine. Why wouldn't a company jump allover this if there's a possibility it might do the same for children?
Zach, thank you for your cautiously optimistic, well-reasoned and well-thought out article. It is excellent reading!
