The question is, what comes next, because there is Canopy Rivers issue, Nasdaq, or something else entirely....
Just on the breeding alone. I wonder what they will be able to do with breeds of cannabis with over two years work in a dedicated breeding facility, with full time research and development and their own dedicated analysis laboratory. Not amateurs, but college educated botanists, modern data tracking with specialized databases...
i am sure that in two years all of the facilities that they currently have up and running will be producing more bud for less money than they do now. Canopy Growth Corporation is currently set up as an organization that is in the business of developing an industry. They can feed a million plus square foot flowering operation with a single cargo shipment, I haven't heard of one other Canadian LP perform some similar feat of cannabis production efficiency.
It is going to start happening, it is going to get dirty
Smith Falls is an industry development research and production facility - it is learning....it is like a gun that can shoot out 100,000 babies to any greenhouse on the planet. Expertise is being developed in there, data is being collected, cannabis is being breed, deals are being made.
We need automated machine measuring, packaging, order fulfillment. Machine processing, industrial extraction, capsule machines.....
it is the machine that builds the machine.....and it is learning - 300 job openings, going to be over 1,000 employees in not too long a time. Economies of scale are going to really ramp up for us here. The other LP's just don't have it like we do.
Canopy Growth Corp is just developing as an organization far better than any of the competition. They are simply much more capable of execution, production, development, and as this goes international it is really going to show.
Canopy Growth Corp is the obvious leader of this new industry, in Canada our dominance is undeniable, in Europe it is obvious we enjoy the best first mover advantage as a public corporation there...Denmark facility is massive, Germany can announce at any time, got actual genetics on the continent with Spain for sure.
It all comes from the Smith Falls facility, the first move made was the strongest, it all stems from that. Best facility, best name, and it just steam rolled from there. Now Smith Falls is the industries most advanced research and development center, capable of shipping hundreds of thousands of genetically identical, documented and tracked babies apparently anywhere that it is legal to do so.
Breeding rooms, cell culture cloning, analysis laboratory, a stand alone research and development 'dealers license' area for product development and analysis. With corporate offices, cannabis production, huge cloning capabilities, industrial grade processing of dried buds and extracts, etc, etc, etc - Canopy Growth Corp has it all fully integrated, they can set up a facility, get it licensed, and ship a crop of babies to grow - they are simply on top, on another level compared to the competition.
moving up to having 1000 employees across Canada, eh!

30, lol, it went up not down! He got you there, and you admitted it. respect
will Bruce Linton be CEO of both Canopy Rivers and CGC? Is Canopy Growth Corp spinning off ownership of Rivers for cash?
I don't know what is going to happen, I am high right now, but Canopy Rivers spin off doesn't seem good to me because I don't know how that game is played.
if the canopy rivers operation goes public each CGC shareholder gets 1 Canopy Rivers share per CGC share and a special dividend as a cash out, normally like 12 cents a share or so - because they are cash flow positive
Canopy Growth Corp has more successful management and they have more greenhouses to run than anyone in the sector
never give a cop saliva, I will just say I want to cooperate but I don't understand, got to work the stall tactics, the saliva test is nonsense...
I think the stock price will be close to $45 in one year, if I am off by less than 10% please send me money, thanks
it was 2015
killing it with the action lines, what is next?
Canopy Growth Corp made a deal with Newfoundland - we'll agree to come into your province and do business, and we will create a facility and give you jobs....but we want you to set up a tax, and give us back the tax money to build the facility.....and then we will let you buy our buds from us
so Newfoundlander tax payers, who want to buy some bud, will pay retail price plus a tax, that tax at the beginning will be going straight into the pockets of CGC until we get $40 million back...to cover the cost of building the facility
you know, so we have a place for people to work, because essentially CGC just sold some 'jobs' to Newfoundland for $40 million bucks - oh that is so dirty, fack
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/newfoundland-labrador/cannabis-supply-agreement-1.4439224
Newfoundland Labrador cannabis tax money will be used to build a $55 million dollar facility....get $40 million back....so for the first $40 million in Newfoundland and Labrador we are not paying any tax, lol.....going to make so much money when legalization hits there. And then we just own the facility....
governments are so gawdamn stupid, why not let the tax payers who pay for the facility own the building......fack, now I am a one of those self-interest groups that benefit when whole massive groups of people get bamboozled
I liked your post. There is nothing wrong about your question or your email, it was respectful and you just asked a question. Bruce gave you his opinion on the subject and you shared the correspondence here.
it was good, anyone that has a problem with it is a jerk face
Aphria, their entire operation is like that greenhouse in BC we just shipped 100,000 babies to. That sort of thing makes money?
How am I supposed to know your reasons for looking at a negative EPS? Why are you looking at a negative EPS? The negative EPS is the past, we are talking about results of past performance not the future.....why, why why, why are you looking at a negative EPS?
I cannot answer that question definitively, I don't have enough information. if I had to make a wild guess I would go with low self esteem
Canopy Growth Corp is earning profits, fully cash flow positive, and it is expanding capacity rapidly in size at the same time
When I was reading the email you sent I was like wtf? I was thinking myself that there has been tons of news and press releases lately, 3 weeks? Industry struggles? Bruce had a perfect professional reply - thanks for sharing.
love those action lines brah! right now the stock is trading below the lines, but there are always standard deviations, that is the market
keep the charts coming, can you make a chart with 5 or 7 interesting action lines?
I think it is about their production channels instead of their distribution channels. They have 40,000 hectares of land growing poppies and they buy more from and sell to independent farmers as well....they are in the business of production and industrial scale extraction.
Its the whole package, they got licensing and they have the land and all this.....it would be incredible if we buy this corporation out with our inflated price/book value stock at or around now
it is like they do exactly with poppies what we do with cannabis, but on a much more massive scale at way lower costs, and they have a much lower market value because it isn't sexy
would be a very good add on
these action lines are by far the most predictive analysis tool any trader can use, mastering the subtle intricacies of the action lines is what separates the wolves from the sheep.

you watch, by the time Canada allows cannabis edibles, beverages and vape pens the transformation to antonymous road transportation will be well under way.
this is about placating the armed wing of authority - arresting, processing, and punishing offenders of laws is major industry, major public unions are involved, police, lawyers, prosecutors, judges, clerks - got to keep the wheels spinning
no doubt, i am sure the margin on cannabis growth is greater than that of opium, which is much more evolved industry.
they have 40,000 hectares of poppy production in Spain, they have all this extraction equipment, it is massive.
if it happens, it is literally the cannabis industry buying out parts of the pharmaceutical industry...
but still, it doesn't make sense to just shut down operations on morphine, i don't know about that, they make 27% of the worlds supply. surely they will need to divest parts of the business or wind it down to squeeze cash out of it or something....
i looked at their website for a little while, I love it, I love their extraction machine, it looks sick, can't seem to share it
and there is this, they have facilities that actually grow and process opiates, teams of people doing this.....Canopy Growth could be buying them out to eventually transform the business into cannabis.
If they can buy out a company that has secure places for growing medicine and processing medicine, secure methods of transport and tracking....
i don't know that much about this company, but I bet you any deal we make would most definitely improve our inflated price to book value....
Alicaliber produces 27% of the entire worlds supply of morphine - that is a lot of dope, Ain't no party like a Tweed dope Party
pain medication research and development?????
check out their website, it is the dopest dope dealers, and Spain is sick, flamenco dancing and tapas, why wouldn't you buy alicaliber? Think of all that dope dude
for real i think it is about the business of turning plant matter into pharmaceutical ingredients. Regulations, documentation, industry contacts, extraction, organic chemistry laboratories - they may have teams of people who know the European pharmaceutical industry from multiple angles.
Well if you buy the guy that is selling dope, lot easier to replace the dope with cannabanoids. We got plenty of dope but we also have this new product called cannabis, you should give it a try....
ideally we want to get our revenue nice and doped up while they are healthy and productive and have jobs and insurance and schit, like someone hurts their back, get them nice and doped up and make a profit from it.
then when they can't take it anymore, instead of them going to the streets for street dope, you bring them down nice and easy and get the really, really high on THC and CBDs.....
what we need are doctors that are like - we are going to start you off with fentanyl, then take you down to oxycontin, then bring you down to morphine, then when you are ready you can make the switch to Tweed's ChinaTown opium laced cannabis oil and when you are fully recovered you should maintain a regimen of THC and CBDs for healthy living, keep you off the dope.
I have made a few similar moves lately, happy with the results, hoping for the best. I truly believe this corporation is heading to gigagram status, could be making billions on margins in a few years
with Nasdaq listing, Alicaliber deal, Sunniva Licensing, and who knows what other potential catalysts can drop at any time.....
that is true, price/quarterly earnings is 3400, i think this will improve dramatically over time, it most certainly needs to one way or another. Either the earnings will go way up, or the price will go way down, or a combination of the two, for certain the price/earnings ratio of this stock will decrease over time.
i think in a few years they will reach gigagram status, making gross margin of at least $3 a gram, earnings of at least $1 a share
P/E = 1031.64
I think it is all about their entire organization, synergies - they must have pharmaceutical documentation specialists, extraction people, growers, etc, etc, etc,
distribution channels for sure, all about ingredients, it seems like Alicaliber is all about alkaloid ingredients and we are about cannabanoids....
what is cool this company is in the business of growing industrial quantities of poppy and extracting alcaloids from them, which I guess is perfect for Canopy Growth, that is in the business of growing cannabis and extracting cannabanoids.
Taking it to the next level, deal making while the stock is on fire, it is beautiful.
