Please elaborate....
Hey- we have a subsidiary!!
http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapId=273537293
First Liberty Mineral Processing Corp. was founded in 2014 and is based in the United States. First Liberty Mineral Processing Corp. operates as a subsidiary of First Liberty Power Corp.
Saw this on the wall of the engineering college- laughed:
http://iopscience.iop.org/0957-0233/24/11/115011/pdf/mst13_11_115011.pdf
(not 100% sure that's the identical study as M. Sayeed was involved, too, but it was all about optical monitoring of the weld pool- a full study shown on this fancy hard-printed wall hanging. Guess it's true what they say- everything comes to Kentucky twenty years late.)
Apparently these things have to be recalibrated a lot- it makes all the difference. My husband's buddy was saying the engineering school used to have one that worked great but because they didn't calibrate it often enough it's basically useless. My husband is building 2 different models right now as a parting gift... a plastics and a metals printer. Plastics should be done end of month, metals early 2015- they just got the funding for that one so parts are still coming in. (The metals one is the MTU model, with a bit of his own tweaking.) I swear if he doesn't get a good job after all this imma be pisssssed. lol. [5 years + 3 STEM majors. Praying there's justice in the world... haha.]
I'd rather have it hold steady than fall to trips... agree with the others on the board- the upside far exceeds the down. (At this point, there's only so much further it can go...) The renewed communication and developments should eventually pay off for a bounce... whether it's the real deal or no remains to be seen, but one of these days we'll at least get a nice little jump. That .0039 came out of nowhere. I know you've been around since the glory days but if you've averaged down, could come out even or up. I sold for a loss some months back but got back in recently making a little here and there. I'll be even again if we hit .003, which is pretty reasonable IMO. If not, I just get a beefy tax refund this year. haha.
You're correct. Right now it alerts the engineers that a problem may occur so the machine can be calibrated properly at all times, as well as monitors the layers so as to ensure each is within the acceptable parameters. In the future, they aim to achieve true closed loop (which they have patented.) I think they need their own printer/to work with printermakers for that.... the technology is there, but without being imbedded so as to control the actual weld pool size, they still have to rely on the engineers to do that. I believe that project they put on the backburner- the Metal3DX- is what will ultimately be the piece d'resistance.... but they may even be modifying the EOS printer, since they bought it rather than leased it.
They've posted their antimony, and shots of them personally at the mill, which is good enough for me... probably don't post the office because people will be like 'They bought leather chairs with OUR $$...' haha.
Are you kidding me? With all the relationships they've been "leveraging" [as per their stated m.o.] these past years- almost all of which are ongoing and becoming ever more fruitful? Sounds like some pretty good business acumen to me.
More like page 21!!
Awesome. Anyones else know who got Phase II?
So..... we're all going to be millionaires... k thanks. ;)
Deform due Q1 2015; the DARPA award is for something more ongoing-from what I understand, it involves a massive framework for prediction of materials properties for characterization- which is way beyond just verifying a particular part is up to spec.
Wow, no volume today.... when is the presentation over?
I guess I figured, when you get a loan, it shows up in your bank account... haha
So... my question stands... am I reading this right?
Is it possible they've shifted assets to their other companies for tax purposes via 'consulting work' and are slowly shifting them back through acquisition? I have never understood how they could operate with so little cash on hand each quarterly report, yet have such nice equipment/so much property. One time wasn't it like only 5k or something ridiculous? Is there something I'm missing?
It was announced on July 23, 2014, that Group8 Mining Innovations would be providing $200,000 in additional equity financing, priced at 25% above current market on the day of delivery of funds, with a floor price of $0.01/share. Pursuant to a stock purchase agreement, dated July 20, 2014 with Group8 Mining Innovations, $100,000 has been provided as of October 31, 2014, priced at the floor level, resulting in a share issuance obligation of 10,000,000 shares of common stock. Upon receipt of the remaining $100,000, a further issuance of up to 10,000,000, but not exceeding, 10,000,000 shares of common stock would be required. The reason for entering into the transaction was to acquire additional investment capital into the Company. The net proceeds from any such financings would be used for working capital / general corporate purposes, including the further development of the Company’s properties.

Isn't Mark's conference this week, too?
How many times is the Fool going to plug Renishaw? Like, seriously. This has to be the 3rd time in the past 6 months this has been brought to the board.
Looks like it… and those #'s are better than expected. 1000 tons of ore per year, even in exploration? Idk what that means for $$ but sounds like it'd hold us over at any rate.
Thoughts on Rose Creek...
I was reading through their updates again and a few new things caught my eye:
Rose Creek Update
While waiting for the Rose Creek special use permit to be completed, the Company continues work preparations at the site (as per the already approved exploration stage permit). During this exploration period the FLPC Team has been working to identify “hot spots” of gold and review the types of gold found. Exploration work has provided evidence that gold exists and is close to the originating source, and ranges from fine particles that float on water to visually identifiable gold nuggets.
Gold 9.26.14
Once the Rose Creek mining permit is in place and the mill and the Rose Creek support sites are readied, production estimates are for a gross processing capacity of 500 tons of ore per day. This ore will be separated on site into 4 grades— a fine ore that will be tagged for delivery to the mill site and 3 other grades that will be scanned in-situ for free gold. In the coming weeks and months, the Company will continue with its plan of operations for Rose Creek that will include:
Securing the exploration site
Obtaining a supporting site for crews and equipment
Mapping the Rose Creek sites on a grid via Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), as an aid for determining mining safety, establishing bedrock depth, mapping sand and gravel deposits and ascertaining rock quality.
Identifying and mapping gold “hot spots”
Performing limited drilling to understand the project layers in depth
Applying and following up on the mining permit which will allow processing of up to 500 tons of ore per day.
Continuing tests on the ore and the gold discovered, undertaken by Applied Soil Water Technologies, LLC (ASW) (http://www.appliedsoilwater.com/).
Removing free gold and sending to FLPC laboratory in Reno for further testing and refining in small test scale.
Working to identify the site geology and types of gold and expand the operation to other areas on the Rose Creek sites.
I would hope they save it for Monday personally.
FINRA moves to eliminate OTC BB… all OTC increased regulation:
http://securities-law-blog.com/2014/10/28/finra-seeks-eliminate-otcbb-impose-regulations-otc-markets/
From another company: "this FINRA proposal is open for comments from the public on the elimination of the OTCBB market.
Additionally, the proposal will add regulations and controls on companies listed on the OTCQB, OTCQX and OTC Pink operated by OTC Market Group, Inc. (“OTC Markets”)."
Would this be good or bad for us?
Likewise. :)
I like that.... flong. Attempting to be that too, just sucks I can't monitor it all the time. Limits have been ok so far but not the same as real time.
When is the next Quarterly report?
I just want to see .0024s again... lol
Sounds like good news... [Hope they implement it effectively ;)] Also, totally unrelated, but I wonder if they'll bring back industrial hemp for this?
replace chemicals made using oil with those made from plants harvested on American farms.
I just got curious and googled. Based on their pictures and recent moves they seem legit, I just don't understand where all the money goes/ how they operate with virtually no cash in their filings. I'm still in and have been in (to varying degrees) since winter. Saw ddm was in it which is why I took the leap (typically I avoid debt heavy companies).
John Talkington now works for GE, AND SIGMA LABS in the past-

This relationship goes back way further than many of us realize, IMO.
FLPC Article

From a year and a half ago…. is all this true? Anyone know anything about Don/TNRO? Apologies if this has been discussed before. Thanks.
I just died a little inside. My husband spent all day literally 5 minutes up the road. :( :( :( You said the GE guy was there? He met one from Aviation very briefly in the materials building today but his name was Doug and they didn't get to talk much… We are totally going downtown this evening to see if any execs are out and about during happy hour haha.
What conference? I missed one in my backyard???
Who said anything about SMALL flippers? There are many loud and proud on this board alone.
My husband's buddy once said he could only have 5 close friends at a time. Myself, my husband, and 3 others were the "starting 5." One day, when we couldn't make it to his ballgame party, he said, "Man, now I have to resort to the 'friend bench.' " When we showed up at halftime, the couch was full but we all fit just fine…. I like to think Sigma's connections work much the same. Even if our starting 5 are late to the game, with such a massive web, we can still have a party. :)
1 for 2 at a dollar. haha. Hopefully no worse than 4 for 1 at .50. [call me an optimist, but that's my hope.] We were at .27 last year for no apparent reason, so it's not totally out of the realm of possibility if we get some big contracts this winter/spring. Here's hoping, anyway.
Is November 21 their conference date?
My husband was there and listened to a lot of those 3D printing talks… will have to ask him about it.
At least volume is looking alive…. I think that's a good thing even if we're slightly down for the day. Shows interest is still there.... Maybe we can move to the upside soon.
Did anyone else see weird AH #'s on their screen? I saw .04 x .048 and about died- then refreshed and it was gone. I know we don't have AH trades. It was just odd.
I'm personally more excited about Honeywell. I think they're more under the radar and have had a longer working relationship through various DARPA efforts so are less likely to screw us in the long run IMO…. also the link posted today said they WILL USE IPQA to validate… :)
