"Can I keep the dog Ma?"
Ok, I can't pass up a straight line like that....
I haven't ever paid for a lei in my life.... at least not cash. (does jewelry count?)
When in Hawai'i, if you want to get lei'ed for free, just go to Hilo Hattie's! She will even give you a ride home for free afterward! (Anyone in the islands will know what I'm referring to!)
I wonder if CGFIA is looking to open a branch office in Maui. I will be the first to volunteer for the placement!
That's the attitude to have SB! Imagine the fun you will have 'blowing' it all when your ship comes in!
Darn! I was counting on some increase. I would have the wife return all the souvenirs, but it is a long way back to Hawai'i where she bought them all. (anybody want to buy a couple of wilted leis?)
Don't feel too bad, mp. I'm in at an average of .0005, and many others are in at much higher averages.
The key is where it ends up, and how much patience we all have to wait it out.
For sure I would have to be placed on an allowance for "casino visits"! But I'm also sure that I would be playing 25¢ games at least. I'm also certain that the casinos would increase the comps they give me. No more $5 off coupons for the buffets.
Moving out of town wouldn't work. The native American casinos are almost everywhere. (See, I know too much for my own good.)
As a wise old lady said to me many times, "Wait till you have the money before you spend it." Unfortunately, I'm using up all my patience waiting for the DRMS to make up their collective minds.
I'm waiting for Uncle Sam to give me my tax money back so I can do exactly the same thing Mainman202!
A nice even 15 million shares would be a comfortable figure to sit on till we get the good news.
2012 is going to be an "eventful" year. If the Mayans had it right, we won't have to worry about the future. If we CGF investors are right, we won't have to worry about our financial future.
With my luck lately, both will be correct. I will be a multi millionaire for about 2 months or so!
(Now that is BAD karma!)
GLTA!
Yeah, I see. I was just trying to catch up on their postings.
It looks to me like there may be a CGF vs. DRMS showdown in a couple months, complete with fireworks. (One way or another!)
I still have some more to read. The only way I can get through it all is with a mug of Grog!
Ok, who has the key to the Grog locker?
Hi all! I just wanted to post and let you all know that I am still alive and kicking, keeping an eye out for any news on the CGF situation.
I expected to be a bit richer by now, from some good news about the mill or the DRMS, but I guess that is something for the future.
Keep the faith, and help me find that Grog key (or start calling me "Captain Queeg"!)
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I have been fighting the rough seas of the Pacific on my way to Hawai'i, so I have been out of touch.
If my memory is still functioning after the rough seas, the Tirol should be around 1.2 Billion shares. (not accounting for any posts that I missed since the first of April.)
Good Luck all you CFGIA investors!
Keeping an eye out for about 10 acres in Kwai! Now all I need is the cash! (and everyone will be welcome to visit me!)
Come on CGFIA, I need a second home!
Hi everyone, and Greetings from Hawaii! It is nice to see land again and be in contact with the world, but I'm disappointed to find that I'm not a CGFIA millionaire yet!
Since I am down here in the world of vast ocean and historic sailing ships, I am keeping my eye out for some better quality Grog for the Armada. (Sampling every type I can find, of course. They tell me the boat is rocking, but I seem to be one of the few who can walk in a straight line. Wait till everyone else finds out my secret!)
Good Luck to all you CGFIA investors. I will file a Grog report as time permits or as soon as I'm sober!
Aye! Sir. 2 million more to the total.
Good Luck!
CGFIA
100 mill! That is a landmark by itself!
I will make the necessary changes to the totals.
Congratulations, Mr Y!,& Good Luck!
CGFIA.
Will do Borgon! Let's see how many shares people report.
I'll add your shares to the total.
Good Luck!
CGFIA.
(self medicating with Grog works wonders!)
Thanks, '67. I appreciate the words, and will add the shares to the total.
(I expect to be laughing right along with you!)
Good Luck!
CGFIA
I'm about, but not out. I'm locked up in the grog cellar. Don't come looking for me, I'm enjoying the Grog.
Seriously, I have been absent for the last few weeks due to a somewhat surprise surgery. I'm recovering nicely, just slowly. (Damn, I'm getting sick of being sick!)
Thanks everyone for your concern. It's nice to know if something did happen to me that the authorities would at least find me before I started to smell too bad!
Damn, what is going on with the price of CGFIA? All this because someone sells a few million shares???
I'm lurking around. Sometimes I think it is fun to sit back and watch the discussion about the latest CGFIA news.
Actually I am trying to get my calculator to stop showing my "future wealth calculation" with that "e" in the display! I know that little "e" represents a lot of zeros, and I want to be able to count them. I guess I need a bigger display!
Congrats, Sal! I will put your new total in the cargo hold!
Have a mug of Grog to celebrate!
CGFIA!
Sure thing, BBC_Aristotle! That will buy a lot of meade in the future! (at least I hope it will, and impress the wenches too!)
Good Luck!
CGFIA
I'm not exactly sure. I'm remembering something like 9 as the total. I'll try and find out.
If it is 9, then that makes 7 left. I expect at least one to take the full allotted time to respond- probably mid April. (not that I know of any, but when you are dealing with a group, the dynamic is just someone is always late)
Sure thing, Borgon!
Nice round number, isn't it?
I will add your purchase to the total.
Good Luck!
CGFIA
Ah, come on '67, you are anything but a lurker, buddy! You speak your voice and it is always sound advice and opinions!
If you think that's lurking, that's OK, just keep doing what you are doing!
Good Luck to all CGFIA investors!
Eddy, all we can do is help you with the DD and research. After that it is up to you if you should buy or not. DO NOT TAKE ANYONE's WORD FOR ANYTHING. Do the old "Ronald Reagan" thing he said to do with Mikhail Gorbachev: "Trust but Verify"!
Unfortunately, it will take a bit of research to fully understand CGFIA's position. It is a complex road it took to get here. After reading and researching the situation, I think you will be able to make your decision without anyone needing to 'convince' you.
But in all seriousness, only buy if your heart is in it. If you have doubts, don't. (That is what my Grandmother always said, "when in doubt, don't" and it has been great advice!)
So in your research if you have any questions along the way, please ask. The only stupid question is the one that never gets asked.
For the most part, there are a lot of very intelligent and informed people on this board. They are here to share. Take advantage of their help if you wish.
Good Luck!
CGFIA
Thanks, Goldbug4! I will add your buy to the total.
Good luck!
CGFIA
I will, Sal, gladly. And I did the same type of buying, except my motivation was to reduce my cash balance to zero. I got some strange totals like that too.
The important thing is you have them!
Good Luck, Sal and all the CGFIA investors
Thanks for spreading the word on CGFIA. Anyone who does a more than cursory look at the depth CGFIA has gone to in the pursuit of bringing this company to full operation as a profitable precious metals mining company will see that this is truly an outstanding investment opportunity.
Many new people are here asking for the information. If you find it repetitive, then just skip to the next post.
I'm out here! Although today, I'm not sure exactly where I am! The Internet has giving me trouble signing into iHub.
I will gladly add your new purchase to the total!
As always, Good Luck!
CGFIA
And I thought it was just me and my bad electronic aura!
At least Elray is holding on and picking up a little steam!
GLTA!
Yes Sir, Admiral Akula! Should I break out the Pussers too?
I will update the totals ASAP!
I like the way you think, Sal! Must be that Celtic blood common in our ancestry. I'm sure some of our Celtic relatives were helping to dig the mines or lay the tracks for the railroads into Silverton.
Now is the time to dig up that luck of the Irish for CGFIA!
We can start using Irish whiskey in the grog. Maybe that will help!
GLTA!
CGFIA
At least you r willing to admit it! I'll bet half of the board were thinking the same as you. (I was!)
I need to PM you about the funny part of this.
Abandons the property? That would mean the bond never gets returned. And the environmental plans HAVE been approved. They deal with the old settling ponds. That work has already been started, last September. The cost IS known. It is negligible, compared to the bond.
It entails placing sand and tailings over the old pond floor, a new non-permeable liner, and covering the liner with more earth. (A layered series of sand, rocks, and topsoil, all planted with new wild grasses. Even the type and amount of grasses have been determined.)
You have a lot of catching up to do, P. I suggest you go to the DRMS website and start reading the documents there. It will answer a lot of the assumptions you are making.
The links are in the stickies above.
Good luck.
P, do you know who the owner of the mill is? It is the new COO of CGFIA. I do not think it is his interest to foreclose on the mill at this time.
As far as the environmental burdens on the mill, the DRMS is the governing agency for those items. SEC filings would not mention them, except for the financial bond paid to the DRMS.
When the bond is returned it will also be noted on the SEC filings.
I hope that clears up your confusion.
Yes, Brendan, I believe they will. The AM-03 interested parties are starting to reply to the DRMS. That is a very positive sign for CGFIA.
It may take till May, but that would still be ok with me.
I think you are right. I stand corrected!
I'm bad with dates, just ask my wife. What day is it anyway? Why is everyone buying flowers and chocolate?
Don't feel bad about that, Odega, 567 has just about everything you would want to know about the company right at his fingertips. He is amazing! I'm trying to get him to publish a book titled "CGFIA for the NOT SO DUMMIES".
He is my go to guy for the minutia that others miss.
Pretty good guy to have supplying the DD information, don't you think?
At the last estimate, the mill was worth $11 million. That puts the equity at approximately 85%. An asset, even with a mortgage, is still an asset, particularly when it can be sold in parts for 7.25 times its mortgaged amount.
Basic accounting principals will prove your claim wrong.
Perhaps you should do some more DD too.
This can all be found in the CGFIA statements.
If you are coming to Vegas and placing it all on Red, I will meet you to video it so we can post the big win on YouTube! That will drive the MM's crazy!
But let's not bet ALL our PCFG earnings. We should keep a little so we can do it again on the next great opportunity!
See what I mean, Mr Dale, you thought it was only a tax shelter, and now you have between 6 and 9 ways to put CGFIA on your taxes!
