if you read the footnotes its obvious that the only real focused activity being carried out at ASR is cobbling together moneys to get from day to day. that in and of it's self is not necessarily a bad thing. often a fact of life at a very small company, like a startup! unfortunately, this ain't no start-up, and when you realize how bad things really are and then you look at how management has created many of these issues via incompetence .....like the lawsuit that beget the recall? how much money is being spent on lawyers and accountants, just to have them say that they have substantial doubt you will survive. unfortunately, there is nothing the shareholders can do, because as some on here spinned it "The Company made it more efficient, they issued super voting stock for themselves so that they can make decisions quickly, you know how it is, they are very busy, they don't have time to go to the shareholders for stuff, sales are thru the roof, big contracts every day, pallets flying out the door everyday".............
because there is nothing of substance that is positive on which to base a PR. Those of you that are not in this business do not realize the magnitude of this failure. step back and relive the spin on market gate, chile, africa, da moon?
if the 1000 stores were true
if the 5.06 units per month were true
the sales would have been for those stores alone 296k for the qtr. they were 1/3 of that.
not really, while the sales #'s are shocking I have to say that I posted on here that they might hit 100k in sales, although I felt that anything under $450 was a problem.
Keep in mind that these are pipeline months for chile, the uk and the other points. the pipeline is usually the single biggest month you will have in any account,
this bodes terribly for ASR
my money says that April was under $50k. now lets go back to the posting last week were pallets where flying out the door on a daily basis........this is more like a pallet a week.
now what do we say to all of the facebook pics of all the people working like hell...or the pallets heading out the door, or the 81 companies that were clamoring for meetings at market gate........
end of story is there are no sales on NDD and there are minimal sales on thermometer and they have lost customers due to the "Oh ASFX Management... Brilliantly Played" recall. Remember those posts? how they had played the judge and it was Tecnimed that was broke and couldn't post the cash bond? well they did post $130k and they will be merciless. they will cost ASR legal fees out the wazooo
and I think ASFX prettied it up as best they could. stuff like dancing on the sales language.
thanks saw it. the returns may have come from 2010 sales. that is my best guess. they shipped 10k units and 2k units in the fall. they must be a cash basis in their books, so they are impacting the actual months p&l when shipments come back from retailer
never mind I saw it, very fuzzy math. but i see the 175 how they get there. I question how long the turn around was. Did the 75 k disappear due to cancellation? that's what it sounds like, that's the worst case scenario.
101k is death bed stuff
i did not see it. i just saw a footnote that the recall would cost $25,000.
i think they waited till after hours because it was the longest they could hold out. these numbers do not bode well now or the future.
A/R tells you they aren't shipping much if anything. whatever they are shipping is likely going out consignment.
they have about 2 1/2 moths inventory which tells you that the 101k sales may have well been a doctored number. are they counting the recalled as sales? if so where do they offset the dollars on returns? I haven't seen it.
i thought 300k would have been disastrous, WOW. No wonder they did not want the Q released.
so sales were 104k......
losses over 1.2 mill for the qtr.
I guess the 81 Retailers that demanded meetings at Market Gate had a change of heart.
Good Morning OBI, hoping you strike gold here!
who is jerry? id he with ASR? What does he do? and why do I sound like him?
I sound like Jason Roth???? are you serious?
that is what makes you credible. you dont post crazy BS, like "To Da Moon" and the ever popular "Everything is Looking Good". The company is a joke. There is nothing there. Management is as I said a Clown Car. Dr T is a poor rube that Roth if left to his idiocy will put in jail or bankrupt. The NDD has zero future. Dont take my word, call any reputable retailer. Bayer used it as a premium (give away). The thermometer is a mundane technology.
There is no blockbuster announcement in my opinion. We shall see in 4 days or less. At least OBI has genuine comments and acknowledges that the company and its clown car management have no impact on the stock. Its strictly a shell game that people play.
You are wrong, actually that is not legal at all.
wow, a great deal of symmetry of thought...eerie
My opinion is that many are waiting on the Q1. While you will have the pumping platoon say that its irrelevant, by now there may be a significant percentage that want to see the actual operating results of the company. I have reason to believe sales will be worse than anyone expects. Except maybe myself.
Losses will continue to be gargantuan. The big question may be, if the company sold any shares during the last 20 weeks, where did the money go?
If reality takes root, this may be the beginning of the death throes of the company. Hopefully not because there are people in this stock that are getting creamed and may be really hurt.
would love to see the travel expense line. Roth has been trotting the globe with no results, just sightseeing.
Memories of Market Gate "81 companies are demanding time with ASR, they all want the products......that was over 3 months ago.
The BS sign is flashing wildly........
silence is deafening
no worries but the point I make is that they always tout Big deals , pallets flying out the door, yet the actual reported sales volume is always junk.
I have already flushed my shares at 20% of cost.
Now Im a critical observer.
I find OBI to be a frank and rational thinker, the pumpers are an unscrupulous bunch of hacks..."To Da Moon"....yeah right
good luck guy
lets hope that when the Q comes out it doesnt just evaporate AGAIN
someone on here (I think) posted that the Q1 doesnt matter. I think the actual comment was "no one looks at the Q" . Seems to me that the ASR facilitators have risen from the grave. Fisrt time in 30 years of looking at and running public companies that I hear that fable.
OBI, with all due respect (which your frank and candid presentations deserve) there is nothing to this company, its a shell game, where the hell is the pea?
I venture to guess that when the Q is filed there will be NO GREAT POSITIVE SURPRISES.
i simply think that they are trying to raise capital, I also believe the Southbridge deal fell apart after the release of the 10K and the National recall debacle. While Southbridge is considered a highly flawed entity and the deal was horrific, it was a lifeline.
The 10Q in my opinion, probably shows awful sales (under $300K)and operating results which are a degradation in the company's already fractured financial position.
what a shocker..........they obviously are buying time. Something they are doing that they do not want shareholders to know yet. Some here will say that they have a huge great deal that is pending, I'm a skeptic.
where do you get the info about pallet after pallet daily?
if thats the case the Q1 sales report should show over 400k in sales
EDIT: i dont think so guy, I have seen incredibly wild swings here. Based on bupkus. But you have a hell of a lot more content knowledge than I ever will in this area. But I do know the company details probably better than most here
I just cant see that CE, but how the hell do any of us really know.
In my opinion something blew up with their financing with Southbridge and they triggered the withdrawal
I disagree, I see no "Big Investment" anywhere on the horizon.
But like you its just an opinion.
Lets wait and see. Should be interesting.
Again this stock has no relationship to the business of ASR, its a sovereign entity unto itself driven by the people here and elsewhere.
If it was based on the performance of the company and management, the stock would never see the light of day.
That's been the hardest thing for me to understand.
BTW ANY THEORIES ON THE WITHDRAWAL OF THE REGISTRATION STATEMENT?
Hey OBI! Happy Friday! Whats your bet on revenues and losses for 2011 Q1?
My guess is that revenues do not hit $250k, and losses are somewhat improved. Still gargantuan considering the tiny size of the company and its component parts.
Lemme know your thoughts.
Have great weekend!
good luck to you.
i am sure I told you before, I invested in this company due to a specific reason and I was sure tha they would jettison Roth and the NDD. Which from my conversations with various trade players is a loser item. Just my opinions.
This is the first and last pink I invest in. Actually thats a mis-nomer, you dont invest in pinks, you try to be one step ahead of the manipulators.
im not really frustrated, call it a 12k lesson. As i said, the price of this stock (all pinks?) is a function of the dynamic of the manipulation
good luck to you. I blew my shares out week before last.
I will say that for the 2 years I have followed ASR, the next Qtr has always been The Big Pop.
When that qtr falls flat on its face then its the following,
but I have to hand it to you, while I may not concur wwith your assumptions, I can at least understand your logic.
That OBI, is light years beyond what I can say for the To Da Moon! and "everything is looking good" BS..
You are up front about the dynamic at play and I have never seen you post total BS.
I have found your stuff to be informative.
Regarding the idiots that are always saying that I am someone else, or Doggone is me.. thats the norm for what I see here. Senseless commentary that has nothing to do with anything.
Good Luck!
as someone with extensive experiece in the CPG sector, I am amazed when I see people on here singing the praises of the company for abject and total failure.
The dot.com aspect is generally considered the distribution of last resort. Here people are slapping each other on the back when the company admits that they availed themselves of this channel, hell in fact they have declared this avenue as their primary goal........really???
Can we be real for a moment? The PPS and the Stock itself is merely a number. It has no relationship to the company's status or condition. This is strictly a game between the folks here and other sites and a number of players in the market.
The PPS is what these forces choose to make it. This is a grand dance with no basis in reality.
It is not based on "Something Happening", Its not based on some epochal event in the company or some wondrous achievement by management.
Their only claim to fame is their amazing talent for total and all encompassing ineptness. They could easily grasp defeat from the jaws of victory, however they have no victories to lose control of..
There are no "mysterious and magical" goings on. Its all a spectacular example of manipulation. No relationship whatsoever between the PPS and the reality that is this company.
Its a moribund entity that lives off half baked Facebook postings and unbelievably useless dribble thats spouted here and elsewhere.
i write about what I see, I get no benefit from the stock plummetting. I dont hype, but if I see a point of value I readily recognize it. Dont get me wrong, its not that an insolvency petition wouldn't make sense normally uder the conditions on the ground. In this scenario, it only helps to hurt and expose management, in my humble opinion.
