I agree. I have said it before most companies in phase I testing have market caps less than 100 mill mkt cap. So to be at the stage of the game we are in the development cycle I feel that the mktcap speaks loudly to the bullish sentiment felt by investors on CTIX. And I think the market still is holding a low value for B and P. Once we get confirmation through their trials it's off to the races!!! I'm kinda selfishly hoping for more time to load up under $4 so I hope it stays under that range until I get to my goal share count. :)

Hey Sheff and the rest of the board!!! I have been a lurker here for a couple of years but finally upgraded my membership because of my increased trading efforts.
The amount of knowledge and DD by everyone here on the board has given me such a great understanding of trading/investing. I appreciate everyone's commitment and hope that 2014 is an excellent trading year for everyone here at the Sheff's Station!
Ok for the moment. I'm looking to add once everything settles. The April catalyst should provide some upward movement
Left out the word "add"...whoops ;$
I took it as an opportunity to grab a starter position. I'm in for the long haul and will when more funds are available!

Thanks Tom for the TA insight! Always appreciate your take on the various boards we seem to both visit. ;)
Thats true. I guess I should have stated that this is the way it affects the vast majority of smokers. Some individuals do not have an excessive uptake of new receptors sites. But if you look at the statics less than 10% of individuals can go cold turkey without relapsing at some point.
Nicotine is the most addictive substance one could partake in. It stimulates endorphin responses by attaching to the a4b2 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor site. The reason nicotine becomes more addictive the more it's used is the human body creates more receptor sites once existing sites are filled with nicotine. This happens as tobacco use increases. After a while you develop so many receptor sites you have to consume more nicotine to satisfy the old and now many new receptor sites. What makes nicotine the most addictive and most difficult drug to quit is the fact that these receptor sites once established never go away completely. So the cravings are ALWAYS there even once a person quits.
I sold Chantix for smoking cessation for a little over a year...
It's probably institutions unloading some shares. They were up 100% since the capital restructuring in late October. Booking some profits right off the bat in 2014. I don't think it's dilution but a lot of selling by the big boys. I'm sure they will hold a few for April results though...GL
Agreed!
U must be talking about the year we see 3 digits before the decimal point...u may be right too. I'll be here till then. Ur post has been marked!! ;)
Wait I almost forgot....
Go CTIX and it's investors!!
Here's one that never retreated back to lows....http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui
And another....http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui
It all depends on so many factors but you can't say that all biotechs retreat to and give all their gains back. If you are good at reading charts it can certainly help in finding the bottoms and tops but a chart is only part of the equation. A lot has to do with the FUNDAMENTALS of the company. I believe that once things start rolling with CTIX the interest and company design will keep a steady uptrend(given positive trial results)with some dips along the way but never going back to where it all started right here at $2. Although for some lucky people it started a lot lower than that...wish I could say that! I look at many different companies and cannot name many( actually any) biotech in phase I testing that is sporting a market cap like CTIX. Shows me that a lot of people feel my confidence regarding the future of CTIX.

I would like to follow to..how do I find the board?
Read bottom of the post....http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=95438398
Oh ok thanks just wasn't sure on the exact O/S. so market cap is around 34 mill then. I saw that Sheff had interest in the company and grabbed a starter today. Having a lot of institutional interest is what spurred me to grab a few shares too.
Happy New Yr!
My etrade shows the mkt cap at 4 mill...is that correct? TIA
Merry Christmas everyone!
Thanks for the post and article Dr J!
This link has says "List of Participating Companies"

Once Leo responds to everyone's email we will have clarity.
Ovi..look back at the conversation NR and I had at around 10 am this morning(EST). It will explain what NR was saying in the post you are referring too.
Very nice bid support!
I also emailed Leo for clarification.
But per the PR....
Leo Ehrlich, Chief Executive Officer of Cellceutix, commented, "Since last month's Elsevier conference, we have entered into two confidentiality agreements with multi-billion dollar companies interested in our pipeline. We have a lot to accomplish over the coming weeks, which should set Cellceutix up for an exciting new year. We will provide shareholders with a more comprehensive update during the JP Morgan conference in January 2014."
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/cellceutix-updates-current-status-programs-120000798.html
That last sentence says "during" not "at"...So are they presenting the update at the JPM conference or "during" the conference time frame?
Am I analyzing this to much?
TIA
I'm confused are these 2 different conferences in the same city on the same days?
Good read on WSJ concerning antibiotics and bacteria resistance..

Haha...very true!!!!!
I'll let ya figure that one out! ;)
I hope we hold this range until the conference. I still have a few more shares to purchase between now and then!
GL
Edit...Go CTIX
So hypothetically speaking...
if I was employed by a company and paid a salary w/ commission but decided I wanted to invest in a real estate business and buy into a restaurant franchise would I be ambitious or sneaky?
Jan 13-16
Thanks Mac for the advice. Still holding but evaluating if I should sell. Luckily I had reduced my position and moved those finds into the other board I see you on often. Starts with a C...best
They have body guards and travel in bullet proof glass enclosures...
April 14 is actually 5 months away...
Hey I'm late to the game but interested in learning about the company. I have a brother-in law that suffers from a form of autism(aspergers).
What phase trial do these early results refer to today? TIA
I haven't yet but the replay for the conference call is (855)859-2056 toll free...Conf code: 23984187. This replay is live until Tuesday Dec 17th
It would be nice to know out of the 67 events how many were placebo and how many were in the ICt-107 group. It appears that out of 124 patients only 67 events have been recorded for the OS. I guess time will tell. I believe the results are encouraging and am curious to see how the OS changes over time.
Thanks for the reply and same to you!
I will be holding as well!
Ero...do you think that in time the curve will grow to show stat sig for OS? I haven't had time to evaluate in depth. TiA for your reply!
Easy....Jan 13-16th
Tails or anyone for that matter...based on your statement a question came to mind. It's been a minute since I have checked on the other companies developing a P53 enabler drug. I know the advantage is potentially with CTIX. My question is how far ahead are we from Roche, Merck etc on the development side?
Thanks in advance to all those with input. If no one know off hand knows I will gladly research the topic when I get a chance...2 kids are keeping me busy after work. Lol
