When it rains it pours. Best of luck to your wife, and it does put things in perspective. Remembering the simple things and what I do have even if I lose everything, and it is everything, on this. I am still crazy and holding. I hope you and I both get whatever relief that a successful QASP can provide amidst all the rain.
You only lose if you sell. You aren't going to like it now if QASP succeeds. I haven't sold. I hope they succeed. Better luck to you.
I agree. I don't think we are done yet. Lose it all or win in the end.
What was your overall impression of him on the phone? genuine? confident? sketchy?
I hope you are right Jrdig7. I haven't sold any of my shares and hoping this is a temporary setback, that the new fees will be paid without an increase in A/S, that the demonstration in Croatia soon goes well, etc.
It would suck to sell right here and lose a ton of $$ and it comes back.
It would suck to not sell here and it goes down and never recovers.
Time will tell. It is still a big gamble.
I hope it works out. GLTA
Chief, some see this as a temporary setback and that the funds will be acquired after this bump in the road?
Were going to be. What is the case now, however?
Ok, so they seem to "only" need 1.8 Million to cover new fees...but this is the part I don't understand/know how to interpret:
"There were a total of over $5 million in fees associated with the original Loan, however, in the initial structure the majority of the fees would have been paid upon closing. This delay and changing of the Banking institution being used to provide funding has required more of those fees to be paid up front."
That's what I'm hoping...or any of his friends or similar sorts of people behind this. Assuming the funding is secured with up to 7million in fees...it would be worth it, rather than lose all the money they presumably have on this.
That's what I'm hoping is private money from concerned/interested investors will step up. But don't they need to come up with the $5million in fees on top of the 1.8 million as well?
"There were a total of over $5 million in fees associated with the original Loan, however, in the initial structure the majority of the fees would have been paid upon closing. This delay and changing of the Banking institution being used to provide funding has required more of those fees to be paid up front."
Yeah but reading the whole thing: "The new time line is that Newby & Associates will be able to provide cash into Quasar Aerospace Industries, Inc. Attorneys escrow account within 10 Banking days of receiving the $1,775,000 in fees that need to be paid to the owners of the assets backing the SBLC, as well as the issuer of the SBLC. There were a total of over $5 million in fees associated with the original Loan, however, in the initial structure the majority of the fees would have been paid upon closing. This delay and changing of the Banking institution being used to provide funding has required more of those fees to be paid up front."
Don't we have to come up with the $1,775,000 as well as $5million in fees that now have to be "paid up front"?
How are we going to get said funds? And only then the 10 banking days begins, right? How feasible is this now?
How are they going to come up with the millions to secure the fees for the funding?
Do you understand why now?
Not the D Day I was hoping for, but I anticipated delays...worse than I hoped for, however. Hopefully there is light at the end of a now longer tunnel.
I agree there have been (even more) bumps on the road. MS didn't close last week, even though Dean thought it was so obvious that it would, and I believe he meant that...you would think he would get more conservative in his estimations...
I'm not even sure that we have funding yet...I firmly believe we will hear about the funding pretty much right as we get it. We will hear of the A's later. We are off schedule. That is my opinion. As long is it comes together before I have to sell at a nasty price, that's ok.
It's not easy, that's for sure, unless you are born with a golden spoon.
I don't believe that. PR first, then buyback, although he may have agreements in place wherein shares are already being gobbled up by whoever that he will pay more for but still cheap for purchase.
Yeah, he seems like an honorable guy. He knows what he said. I can hardly imagine that Dean will not update us by Friday. I will second guess his character otherwise.
Yeah with all due respect we are on "Dean time."
I am keeping the faith, but the market has figured out that the funds have not arrived on schedule. Respectfully disagree with some....Dean would have lost his bet if anyone took him up on it. I don't even think we have the funds yet. I'm just hoping they come through and soon, because with that alone we'll start to recover. Question is are we going to keep re-negotiating mineseeker or what?
I assume that even without MS, the funds, when they do come...will allow us to get some other acquisitions and get to .02 at least. That's all I need to make some money and not lose my irrational investment from plenty of viewpoints (irrational), especially since I trusted the timing too much.
As long as it comes together soon, please by July...it will be ok...I have a lot riding on this, hoping for the best. I can't hold forever, but I can hold a while longer with sacrifices, including not taking my first trip to Japan to see one of my best friends while he is there and on break from work...time is of the essence, and as long as we hit in July I'm cool.
I think news tomorrow. Definitely not tonight.
D Day is tomorrow Chief. The day after June 30.
What happened to he would let us know as soon as things happened though? Given the absence of letting us know with that backdrop, plus MS supposed to have been closed last week...no updates...falling pps, it is not too hard to understand why people would be a bit anxious/concerned...but I am sipping on the kool aid and hope that the real smiles will be coming to all of us very soon, and I have tended to think, given where we are, that D Day is tomorrow -- hopefully it is Dean's Day, and we get a really nice PR.
I expect a PR/update before the huge volume/buyback. We've seen neither yet, but I don't know how we can't hear something by Friday, I'm guessing it is tomorrow, and as optimistic as you are I will look forward to/hope for good news. Most of us are on the edge of our seats waiting to see if the creek rises...
I'm hanging in there B*A*N*K*E*R...thanks for your thoughts, as always. I have not sold anything, and I'm hanging on for the ride up or down. I try to keep my eyes on the horizon, not on the ground, but of course I see the ground too. I am not as panicked as it may seem. I still do have hope for better things to come...it is just not pretty at the moment. I hope you're right that everything will be done by the 30th (and we'll hear about it at some point...), but I will be happy if we simply get the funding and not expecting his "bet" would have been won, but hey it is all icing on the cake if he pulls it off. All the best...hope to be celebrating with you soon. I will just have to wait for the news before I can really celebrate.
I like to think it's all going to work out, despite appearances, but either way if he is going to "slip out" your letter will be too late anyway, even if you send it tomorrow...So why not give it until Friday or at least Saturday...if your letter is going to help anything, it won't matter if it is sent a day or two later, but you will have more/less reason to send if you wait til the end of the week. Just my opinion. I'm still hoping we pull through and to get a PR in my opinion tomorrow.
I'm just wondering if we are on our way to the slaughterhouse...I feel like I'm being buttered up and ready for the oven...I can feel its flames already. Something has to change and soon or it is roasting time. Nothing like the joy of seeing your account/savings being decimated.
Personally I think you are better to wait until Friday morning. Tomorrow is D Day in my opinion...after the 30th is done, with the next day opportunity for an update on how the month ended...not looking good right now (barf).
Not being my first rodeo, that is part of the problem. Like others say a lot of these "great idea" pinks don't work out as you expect, and at best (in my experience) you get a temporary run you could have made money if you sold and didn't believe the hype about the much bigger money "down the road." and for now i AM wondering did I miss my chance to make money on this above .02, being greedy for more at the time and right back in the hole with the so called many big things basically happening tomorrow and we are in the toilet.
Am I going to have to go on a ramen diet soon? If I were rich and this were all play money it would be different. If I was wiser and executed flips when really I thought it could be a good time to flip...I could be celebrating, buying more, happy about these prices lower than my .013 average, 8k in the whole...still not at my top 11k in the hole...but any lack of follow through or worse and we are in the QASP toilet and bleeding profusely going into this weekend. Just being real/honest. I want to be optimistic and hold most of my shares long term, but I do need some good timing...just glad I didn't get in so deep last year on the same sort of situation/story...little guys like me and mazulla, etc can't celebrate now.
We sink or swim on Dean time...even if this makes you rich in 10 years. next couple of months matter a lot unfortunately. I will be frugal, ramen noodles, etc....but c'mon Dean and your reasons for optimism...we need a serious dose of manifestation in reality and not just a happy story.
I also think news by Thursday (sometime pre or later in the day), but I certainly hope by Friday...would be a bummer for lots of reasons but to go into long weekend with major dumping and no news (when reasonable expectations for news by then are in place) would be a bummer.
So Go QASP!!! I'm tired of cheapies!!! I don't have $$ to buy more. Wishing I'd flipped higher and bought down here.
It is not a good thing. EOM
Why haven't we heard anything in your opinion? Why the hold out? Why withhold information unless it has to do with delays or is otherwise negative?
Nice DD lol
it seems to be 53=8 but never mind it hardly seems to matter.
So QASP is worth .01 per share. How much longer must we endure this? better than going lower sub-penny, but...will we get big news this week?
market must not think so...usually potential is priced into a stock...is this our potential = .01?
I tend to think we'll here something weds/thurs, but their silence has been deafening...it was nice when we were getting the CC's/video updates. I hope they'll give us some fresh air soon.
Good news...Go QASP .... I hope!
I agree. bumps happen...just hope it's a small one...I discerned that we are delayed (more than) what Dean thought/told us...oh well so long as it is done soon! money in the bank like someone said, I hope.
I'm the average bill payer without unlimited funds. I will be forced to sell shares even if they are sub-penny at some point...you have to put food on the table. I'm with you. I'm not mr high roller...not until QASP hits. Cheapies make me sick right now, just so you know. I vomit at the idea. Especially if certain bashers get in after all their vile...it does make me sick. Anyone in the weeds deserves to stay there from what I know.
I guess I can understand those who want Dean to miss the target deadline, panic selling ensues, and the true longs get rewarded...as long as that happens ASAP after these fixed ideas/"deadlines" then I'm ok with that...and if shares are in stronger hands then and we go higher faster, I am really ok with that.
Lots of cockroaches on this board.
If we get a play by play...prob "we got the money" tomorrow, "we closed XYZ" Weds/Thurs, or shift these all forward one day.
Otherwise we could hear it all Thursday, or it's all so complicated and we get some kind of explanation for why it is delayed a little more....I really hope not. There is no way we don't get a PR by Friday...that would be obscene.
If we get funding by the end of this week I am happy. I don't care if Dean lost his bet that nobody, wink/nudge, took him up on. If somebody had taken that bet, then yes it would matter if everything closed by Weds midnight...but only insofar as Dean would lose 20k of his money and look a little silly. He will still look a little silly if he misses the bet nobody had the cajones to take him up on, but all we need is the funding.
Granted the market won't like it and pps will suffer if we don't get a post June 30 update by Thursday...but if QASP turns around next week and says we now have the funds (although we missed our timelines) and have this and that acquired company...is it going to matter for anybody who holds through the temporary drop in pps? NO
Thursday is D-Day.
It's not a big deal, other than bumps on the road, if we get the PR or close any of the 6 that were supposed to be prior to July 1 the following week in July instead...but I'm guessing we'll get a PR Weds or Thurs for sure, maybe tomorrow.
No more cheapies please. It's cheap enough already if you want in.
