I'm in this for the longterm too. In checking my records, it seems that POW has only been in the 30s for one day in the past two months. That was on March 29th when it hit 39 cents a share briefly. We then marched to 52 cents on April 6th and up to the high of 85 on April 16th. The very next trading day we closed at 55. It appears POW should be at its bargain basement price right now. We could use a good PR to light the fuse once again. The boatload of shares I bought last month at 54 cents could have been had for a lot less money. I wish I'd waited longer but I sure wouldn't hesitate to buy now at these ridiculously low prices! Come on, POWsters! Slap the ask upside the head and knock the short sellers dead!
What chart is that? We haven't seen the 30s in a couple months. Only insanity would drive someone to sell POW under 40! Makes no sense to sell a stock at this price level with so much potential. I say we start to climb back up beginning today! We'll be a buck a share by 2011. You can take that to the bank! I know I will.
If I had 20 grand, I'd put it all into POW right NOW! I'm telling my friends to jump in while the water's fine. POW's bid went down 4 cents today while the sell volume exceeded the buy volume by only about 15,000 shares. We usually go up on high volume and down on much lower volume. That's been happening again during the big drop in POW's stock price this week. With any good news, we could shoot to 50 cents faster than a Stan Lee cameo appearance! Then to 60 and beyond when the Generalissimo waves his magic wand!
Thanks for trying to make us look good, Moose! We did manage to close at 50 cents or higher for 20 trading days in a row before today. That sure aint bad! Now let's get that streak going again beginning tomorrow! POW is too valuable to be selling for a stinkie pinkie price of 45 cents!
Lucky for you Eric and congratulations! That price was a lot better than the many shares I recently bought at 54 cents. I never thought POW could ever drop down to 40 cents again. Hopefully, this will be the last time that ever happens! We should much more likely see 60 cents before the next stop. Stan will be talking up our company at the many Comic Cons and other events he'll be attending this spring and summer. The best is yet to come for us. Let the day traitors make some pocket change once in a while. In the long run, we'll beat them by a mile!
I hope you get his autograph and also hope he signs on the dotted line soon making POW a division of Disney. But maybe I'm just Goofy!
TGIF-Thank God It Fizzled-the selloff that is! The shorts did their best today but the longjohns came through in the end! What a turnaround we had! Next week we should be doing a little breakout dancing. Stan will be calling the tune!
WOW! POW! We just went from a bid of 40 to a bid of 50 in the past hour! The ask is 52 cents with over 400,000 traded! The smart money is buying this baby!
I bought 20 grand worth of POW at 54 cents about a week ago. Wish I'd held out longer but we're coming back strong right now with the last trade at 48 cents! Go POW Go!
I think we see 50 again by day's end. That would be a great way to close out a month that hasn't seen POW close under 50 since April Fool's Day. Only fools would sell it now. If I had another 10 grand, I'd have a field day buying more shares of this company for pennies on the dollar!
I'm totally shocked and upset about it too, Eric. I never thought we'd see the 40s again when POW was at 86 cents just two weeks ago. I'll have to admit I wish I'd sold my whole load that Friday morning before the much ballyhooed Comic Con. Then I could be buying a boatload of POW shares again at 45. I still believe we'll see a buck a share by year's end but am deeply disappointed that the sellers are reigning supreme here once again! Hope it won't be for long. We did hold up over 50 cents for 28 days this month. Maybe someone is just cashing out to buy an even more promising stock. We need Stan the Man to come to the rescue! Give us starving dogs a bone to chew, dear Generalissimo!
It sure is more fun to spend your money on a good investment than a lousy doctor bill! I'm lucky to have HMO coverage where I work. If only Disney would buy POW, we could all have some spare change to jingle around in our pockets! We still haven't closed below 50 cents since April 1st, though we traded a little below that today.
Where are all those investors who bought a couple hundred thousand POW shares at 54 cents two days ago? They should really be happy to buy in at 50 cents now! Just wait until we hear some juicy news from the Generalissimo. Our moon shot shouldn't be very far off and I'm ready to ride the rocket to riches in my Oshkosh B Gosh britches!
With over 300,000 shares of POW traded today, it's amazing that they were all within a two cent range! We usually see at least a 5 to 10 cent variance in the stock price with such large volume. From what I remember in the past, POW generally moves sharply higher in price after days like this. Someone is accumulating shares and the smart money is buying at 54 cents! Just watch this baby pop by week's end. Soon, it will be a month since we saw the 40s. The 60s can't be very far off and the sky's the limit! POW to da moon and well before June! Maybe it's just a case of spring fever but somethin tells me we're in for somethin good! And it's not Herman's Hermits telling me that. It must be Stan getting me all atwitter!
Yes, the Generalissimo has issued a clarion call to his troops to ready themselves for action like we've never seen before! I'm glad to be in the number when the POWsters go marchin in. This investment was heaven sent and I'm a very grateful brigadier. Our final victory is very near! Onward and upward! Tally ho and away we go!
I'd buy more shares if I could, also! I've plowed all my extra dough into POW for the past couple years and I'm very glad to have done so. Anyone who knows the potential of this company should be buying shares like there's no tomorrow! Here's wishing all my fellow POWsters a great week and Uncle Stan the best of health, wealth and wisdom in the days to come!
I wonder what our man Stan is up to? He's cookin up something good for all of us. I'm sure of that much. Just wait until he calls us all to dinner! Every POW shareholder will surely be a winner! My mouth is watering, just thinking of what Chef Stan is going to serve us. Filet of Disney Steak and Take Over would taste just fine to me!
POW seems to have a very solid base price at 50 cents. The stock hasn't traded under that price for over 3 weeks! If we can move past 60 next week and stay there a while, we might establish a new floor at that level. I'm glad I loaded up on more of these pinky petals before they go into full bloom! Before POW goes BOOM!
I bought some shares today at 54 cents. Someone sold 20,000 shares at the market when POW was at 54 to 55 and brought the bid down to 50 cents. I guess I could have saved some money by waiting a little longer to buy but 54 cents will soon look like a bargain price for this stock. If we keep holding at 50 or higher, we should break 60 again and go upwards from there. GLTA my fellow POWsters and have a great weekend!
I'm willing to bet that Stan will be a real hit in Las Vegas! No matter how he rolls the dice, our future with POW will surely be nice! Anyone owning POW shares is bound to hit the jackpot and Stan the Man will be out there pulling the lever for us. I see triple 7s in our future, right on the pay line!
Yep, POW sounds pretty similar to that penny you bought that morphed into a $2.50 stock. With Stan's name and Disney's flagship attached to it, POW's share price is truly in its infancy! When this baby grows up, it'll rattle a lot of pots and pans on Wall Street! It's already causing quite a commotion at the Comic Cons and with the stock gurus. Just wait until we get some real name recognition! We'll all be shaking with delight at the seismic eruption that will generate!
Well stated, GoUp! Looks like POW is charting a course to the next higher level. When it dips, each time it reaches higher lows than the time before. It should bounce off the 50s soon and trade at a much loftier price any day now. This is the time to load up on POW shares while they're still on sale for under a dollar! This flea market price won't last for long!
I join both of you, Jack and Niner, in picking up some cheap POW shares in the 50s this week. I didn't want to hold out for shares in the 40s since it might not (please God!) ever be possible to buy at that price again. I'll try snagging some more tomorrow unless we get a moon launch off the ground. Don't you get the feeling that Stan's just rubbing his hands together at the prospect of releasing a PR that will blow our socks off? He gets a lot of pleasure from rewarding his brigadiers for their steadfast loyalty. With POW right in the middle of a Hero Man sandwich with Disney and Marvel, we can rest assured that we're in with the cream of the crop of all penny stocks!
Don't ruin my plans to buy some cheap shares of POW tomorrow morning! Mum is the word. After I load up around 50 cents, let the flood gates be opened. Now, not a word of this to anyone! Let Disney do its magic in the afternoon.
Compared to POW's price a year from now, you can buy its shares for chump change today! Anyone selling is selling themselves way short. I've never heard of a company with so many dishes in the oven! We could go back up to last Friday's stock price of 85 cents in a heartbeat with the launch announcement of any number of Stan's projects. Better keep you POWder dry if we go any lower. Scoop up those pinkie shares while the scoopin is good! We're still on a trajectory to da moon! Come along for the ride!
Hurray to Stan and Co. for putting out the PR this morning! I knew he'd come through for us. The news isn't of a blockbuster nature like we hoped it would be, but shows that POW is making great strides in becoming a big entertainment POWerhouse! With Disney at our side, we can't go wrong! We'll eventually see 70 and 80 cents again and that could happen any time. By year's end, I'm totally convinced the POW will be over a buck with lots of change to spare!
It sounds like some of our calls to Stan's office are getting his attention. He knows that he needs to come clean on why he omitted making those promised announcements last weekend. We could be hearing from the Generalissimo very soon. A nice big fat PR would be music to my ears. Stan owes us one after our stock dropped 20 cents on the bid today. He can't ignore his Brigadiers who have stood loyally by his side for so long. Tuesday will be verrrrrrry interesting! No doubt at all about that!
This is a great time to load up on some cheap shares of POW. I'll be happy tomorrow if it goes up or down. If down, I add to my motherload. If up, my weath automatically increases. Sittin in the catbird seat and lovin it! Don't get me wrong. Up is still always better than down unless you're in a plane flying into volcanic ash.
I just took a look at the posted trades of POW's shares today. It's amazing that, even though the bid price is 62 cents and 13 cents down from Friday's close, the buy volume today is actually 50,000 shares ahead of the sell volume! We should really be up in price! That bodes well for the immediate and longterm future of our little pinkie. Better days are really right around the corner!
I'll take any news I can get at this point, Lunati. Stan has more pitches than Nolan Ryan and caught us looking last weekend with a curveball. Perhaps we'll see a change-up or a fastball this week right over the plate. If you're not in the batter's box, you won't hit the homer he'll be dishing up for you. I'm swinging away and going for the POW grand slam we've all been waiting for!
I saw that the article was introduced as a pow-erful analysis or something like that. Maybe the pow part of that word got mixed up with the POW holding that you have with the broker. Let us know if anything does relate to our investment. Thanks. I still think we'll see 70 cents a lot sooner than 40 cents. We'll see 40 after a 4 to 1 stock split at $1.60 per share! Who can blame me for dreamin? Remember how far we have come. We're still up over 1200% since the first of the year!
I read her article on Freud and the psychology of stock trading but didn't see POW mentioned. Is there news out there?
That would be a masterstroke by Stan if he would do that! Get everyone's hopes up. Dash them. Get the sellers out of the way. And spring a mindblowing PR on us! We could on da moon by noon!
Bid 63, ask 64! I can forget my buy order in the high 40s! This baby may go back to 70 cents by day's end. Nothing has changed in the fundamentals. Stan might be on the brink of releasing the mother of all PRs any day now! You can't fly to Europe right now but you can fly pretty high buying POW today at this price level!
I'm in for another 50,000 shares if we see the high 40s on this stock! I hope that doesn't happen. Maybe we recover to over 60 cents by day's end. Stan should apologize for not explaining why he couldn't make the announcements. He wants the loyalty of his brigadiers but won't win it by breaking his promises as he did this past weekend. This is a golden buying opportunity and it would be foolish not to take advantage of it. My money is waiting to buy some cheap shares. Any takers?
I understand your righteous frustration, Tamara. We have POW down almost 20% on the open to 64 cents with 85,000 shares traded. It sucks bigtime that we had such a huge buildup just to be let down like that. Stan should have anticipated this and at least explained why he couldn't make the promised announcements. POW took one in the kisser this morning but won't be down for the count very long. In the meantime, yes, I wished I'd sold all my shares at 85 cents on the open last Friday.
Good for you, Sunday! All you stated is perfectly true. We are all a bit disappointed that Stan was unable to deliver these announcements at the Comic Con but the future still looks very bright for POW shareholders. I'm glad you're not going to dump your shares and I hope that others stay in the saddle as well. We will see POW at a buck before long and any dip will be a buying opportunity. Being realistic isn't being negative. Anyone sitting with a motherload of POW shares will realize their financial dreams with no trouble at all! There are more reasons for our stock to go up today than to go down IMO. Let's hope that others see it that way too. GLTA and as Paul Harvey used to say: Good day!
Stan was supposed to be interviewed and field questions from 10:30 until noon yesterday. His interview with Mr. Cotton ended at 11:30 and I'm unaware of any other public statements he made at the conference after that. He did speak with a reporter after his appearance and made some comments, but nothing he said added up to anything of great significance. If I had bought into POW at 80 cents, I'd be disappointed but wouldn't dump my shares now. That price will seem like a bargain well before the end of this year. Stan will be a featured guest at many other Comic Cons in 2010, including the granddaddy of them all, in San Diego this July. He'll have plenty more chances to surprise the daylights out of us. I'm sure we'll benefit from a few good press releases as well.
There's no reason to head for the hills where POW is concerned. That little pot of gold is still there for all of us at the end of the rainbow! Just come in from the rain for a while and the sun will shine bright on our investment soon enough.
I'll have to admit that it will be extremely disappointing to POW's investors if these 2 big announcements are not made this weekend. As I've said before, Stan and his closest associates must be fully aware that these announcements were expected by many people. If he can't reveal these important developments at this time for some reason, he should give us some explanation. Not doing would be undermine Stan's credibility and POW's stock price. Let's keep the faith but keep imploring Stan to address this issue before morning's light.
It is greatly positive that Stan mentioned POW was centered between Disney and Marvel. Kind of like being the President in the middle on Mount Rushmore! That aint a bad place to be if you want people looking up to you. Stan clearly proved that he was juggling a ton of projects and that POW is all but an adopted child of Uncle Walt's enterprise. We still might hear from him today or be blessed with a PR tomorrow. The sky shouldn't fall for us on Monday but we probably won't hit a buck a share that day either! Let's hope for the best for the best is yet to come!
We're grateful to you for doing that, GreenMan. He should be responding to your inquiry in one way or another. Maybe he wanted to announce a joint movie deal with Disney but was told at the last minute to hold off until Disney representatives could make the announcement with him later today at the Comic Con. Or he decided to just drop a huge POW-Disney joint announcement bomb on us Monday morning before the market opens. The news he planned to reveal might not have been that dramatic but he needs to explain why he was close-lipped on the matter at the Q&A yesterday. Good luck getting a response from him. We're all pulling for you in that regard!
