looks like this info is almost 4 years old
That's true, and when the truth is revealed--hopefully value will be restored and PPS will be in the heavens
It's a multi $trillion market, which Fannie has the majority of. They are simply de-leveraging a significant portion of the risk....which is very good....IMO
Is This Bad News for Fannie and Freddie Shareholders?

Why would the $85 bill bond purchases be all about FNMA/FMCC?
incredibly weak today
That's not going to bode well for JPM
Not today. This is common knowledge and has been for a long time. We need net zero first then it hits the fan
the consequence of getting any major reform wrong cannot be overstated
Hmmmmmmm...Where's the volume?
GSE reform not on fall agenda for congress. Net zero November. Release must happen
$380/share
Hmmmmmmm...Where's the volume?
oh yeah I see that now ,,,,,, big money for Fannie/Freddie
But this settlement money doesn't go to Fannie ,,I don't think
If nothing changes we're looking more like $380

PPS would be $380.00 --$48bill/1.2 X P/E 9.50==$380.00
$48 Bill Annual REv/1.2 bill shares X 9.50 P/E= $380.00

Avg Vol (3 month)3: 19,682,200

Shares Outstanding5: 5.74B
Float: 5.74B

% Held by Institutions1: 11.20%
that's unrealistic---
Just because the Feds own %80 doesn't change that fact that shares outstanding are 5.74 billion
Float isn't total number of shares---but I can dream too

Where do you get that from? Yahoo stats show 5.74 billion
So..what do you think the shares outstanding is anyway?
PPS should be $79.00 $48bill/5.74 X P/E 9.50==$79.42
$48 Bill Annual REv/5.74 bill shares X 9.50 P/E= $79.42
Really not much volume, maybe after 10AM when big funds start trading
