Chinese like both 8 and 9...
"The Chinese pulled out all the stops to celebrate their lucky number eight during last year's Summer Olympics, ringing the games in at 8 p.m. on 08/08/08. What many might not realize is that nine comes in second on their list of auspicious digits and is associated with long life, due to how similar its pronunciation is to the local word for long-lasting (eight sounds like wealth)."

Good news / bad news...
The bad news first...
The F3 Technologies website is way out of date. Still says Jim is Senior VP of Finance and does not even mention Paul Campbell.
The good news...
These guys are so busy they have had no time to update the F3 Technologies website!
San Diego. Thanks.
Mods - probably should unsticky...
Han's 7/29 "Reminder why we love our FTCH" post. While it was an excellent analysis at the time, a great deal of the focus was on anticipated results from Hygeia. Since Hygeia has now been sacked due to incompetence (IMO), the post is no longer current.
Besides, you'll need the space to sticky his upcoming F3 visit post.
I think he is saying that Han...
should not bother to visit the LGTT office. At least, I hope that is what he is implying.
New Tweet...
Paul: Collaborating with our partner Paymenting to launch their Interaction sales initiative by mid-September
From the write-up accompanying the supply boat photo...
"As of a few days ago, the Deepwater Pathfinder was in the process of leaving for Equatorial Guinea where it will undergo a survey of its hull. The plan was for Addax's work boats to rendezvous with the Deepwater Pathfinder along its journey to off load materials so operations can commence immediately upon its arrival in Block 4 in the next week or so."
Maybe the hull survey took longer than expected or found some minor issues that needed to be corrected, thus delaying the DP arrival at Kina?
Thanks Han...
looking forward to your report. Travel safe.

Interesting stuff...
From the web traffic analysis site, Alexa.com regarding Interactioncs.com. While it is clear from the ranking that Interactioncs.com is still a low-traffic site overall, it does appear that the recent email marketing blast may have brought some attention, as the current 7 day average shows a large increase in rank (the lower the better, google.com is #1) over the current 1 month and 3 month averages.
"Alexa traffic rank for interactioncs.com:

1 month avg 10938466
3 month avg 10184154

Don't know if it was ever in print but it was mentioned by Gandur during the March 4 Addax CC, as posted by Strategyone and others at the time.

MD...maybe the reason Google does not...
return a direct link to the Upstream article is because it is subscription only content. Just a guess on my part.
Congrats, rayank...got your wish. EOM
Been out all day and just saw the news about Hygeia...
I was always a little leery of them since, from what I could dig up, they did not appear to be much more than a one man show being run out of a home office. Probably oversold his capabilities to F3, but now they are the wiser for it in finding partners, as they say.
Hope condojoe finds gainful employment soon.
Han...maybe you can answer this question...
based on what your friend John has been doing with F3...
On an ICS supported website, is the content of the "Home" page managed by the community/organization?
For example, on this site for Chastain Place, the Home page is blank except for the notation "Welcome (body)". Is this because someone from the community needs edit the page? Or is this something that is also handled by F3?
http://www.chastainplacecommunity.com/NewInteraction/web/subtlety/Default.aspx?cid=28
Thanks.
Han...with all the leads you've given them...
I'm surprised to see that you are not listed on the "Partners" page. LOL
Maybe they were reading...
as the "buttons" I mentioned are working now.
If he had been presenting a valid discussion...
of his viewpoint that would not have been an issue, at least for me. However, he really offered nothing of substance and was merely being disruptive, IMO.
An observation about the new website...
in case they are reading the board.
The "Community Solutions" and "Services" buttons (is that what they would be called?) at the top of the page don't appear to be functioning correctly. An easy fix I'm sure.
jasper...are you just testing your theory...?
If so, please stop it. While it may generate message board exposure, it won't be the kind of exposure you are hoping for. People are inherently suspicious of pink sheet companies, and will tend to believe the one person screaming "s" over those trying to prove the company's worth, even though the one claiming "s" has nothing to back it up.

Powered by Interaction Community Systems...
looks to be their new phraseology. And they have hyperlinked it to the ICS website so anyone who happens upon any of these sites and likes it (and who wouldn't, lol) can get all the ICS info.
I guess most of these are still in work but I can't wait for the day when you can Google it and pages and pages of search results come up.

Saw this from another board...
If you have not seen it before (or even if you have), it's pretty amazing. If F3 can even capture a portion of this monster through Interaction and Fargo Tube...well, just watch.
"Is Addax and Sinopec obscure in the JDZ?"...
I would say yes. Addax and Sinopec have been in the news recently because Sinopec is buying Addax, not because they are major players in the JDZ, which itself is still "obscure" within the investment world. But not for long. And when the news of a major discovery in the JDZ hits, the investors that matter (i.e. institutions) will find ERHC. That's what they do.
Rigzone now has a water depth for Sedco 702...
that's something they haven't shown before.

Han, sorry I was not clear...
I was referring to legitimacy with potential investors, not customers. And I'm with you on the flippers. I'd much rather a steady climb, just wish it would start already.
I do like stock_observer's idea of a client list on the website. Many companies do provide that.
Han, I respectfully disagree...
At this point F3 has what...about 20 known entities using the system? That means that each new customer represents a 5% increase in the client base, which is not insignificant. Publicizing that they are adding new customers also helps to promote the legitimacy of the company, which is of prime importance for a company trading on the pinks.
I know that PR'ing is not free, so it might be cost prohibitive for a start-up to PR every new sale, but if, indeed, "...a lot of contracts have closed and don't get PRed...", they should a least put out a "consolidated" PR stating such.
I do agree with you that when we are as big as MSFT, there will be no need to PR every client, LOL.
Sorry, I did not mean to imply...
that there were no articles on Upstream related to ERHC. Only that there was no breaking news about an ERHC buyout rumor as "reported" by a certain poster. At least not in the latest (8/21) issue.
Looking on Upstream...
As much as a non-subscriber can, there are a few of 8/21/09 articles that mention Sinopec, one of which also mentions the Addax buy, but there does not appear to be any mention of ERHC. Really does not come as a shock.
Sorry han but I have not been able...
to follow the board closely the last couple of days. From your comment, "It's not easy to set up web and stuff on phone to get a web page going". It sounds like John's club must have signed up. If so, do you think they will PR it?
Thanks.
Tamtam...as posted previously...
"Today a semi equipped with propulsion (e.g. Sedco 702) and assisted by a tug can easily move at 10 knots. Without the assistance of a tug, these drilling units can transit at 7 knots."

So your estimation is a good one. Either way, a day or less away.
Interesting since they have now removed...
the Sinopec and Sao Tome references from the Sedco 702 rig data page. Rigzone appears to be confused.
