If he is the dictator of RSDS land, then who am I? Am I like the "Baghdad Bob" to John? I could play that part. Let me start by parsing the latest PR:
"The result of the laboratory confirmation of the samples taken from Russell’s Cache claims validated that there is, in fact, uranium present. Although the percentage of ore from that particular sample is not considered sufficiently mineable, the result is such that drilling should continue on that permitted area in Utah’s Lisbon Valley, and the target depth should increase to an average of 350 feet.
Drilling has commenced on Russell’s recently permitted claims in the Elk Ridge area of Utah’s San Juan County. While working in this area, a tailings pile in close proximity to an abandoned uranium mine, last believed to be operational in the mid 1960s, was found. Using a hand-held Geiger counter on various areas of the pile revealed the presence of high-grade uranium. Certain areas registered as high as 4 percent while others registered between 1 and 3 percent. "
Reading between the lines:
We got us some crazy Uranium here...can you believe this...it's only Tuesday, it's only Tuesday Baby!

Has anyone tried to call the number on the reservations page for BALTIA? I wonder if they are taking reservations in anticipation of their first flight?!?
Love this stock!

chunky,
Tomorrow is going to be crucial. I think we may see this pull back to test the 50 day MA before we break through .88. However, with any news, we could just push right through and see a $1 before you know it. I love this long term and am waiting to clear some funds to buy more. Tomorrow will be key.

Hey guys, looks like another sweet find. Officially on my radar screen. Lovin' BLTA and soon to be lovin' MNUM!!

Excellent move today by oilfield service providers with SLB leading the way. Finally getting away from 100 and should see 120 very soon!!!
-faz
Sweet. Korean stocks that EWY holds are up 4-5% after the rate increase by the FED. Look for this to gap up a couple of bucks tomorrow!!!
aww yeah!

From the TRSI Safe Harbor statement:
"...Additional risks you should consider, this list is limited and additional risk not mentioned may apply: failure to meet Trophy's financial and contractual obligations, Trophy's managerial errors made based upon the Company's limited experience and knowledge of the industry, commodity risk, acts of God and regulatory risk."
Guess they can remove the limited experience and knowledge in the industry part now that they have unloaded Berman.
-faz
It will skyrocket on news IMO.

Their stock is tanking too. I think there was a lot of hype built in on the uranium wave they were riding. Now they will have $18 per day x 3 maybe revenue coming in. They could make more than that if they played pennyland a little bit more or if they diluted a few million shares.
.12, .11, .10, .15...it doesn't make a difference. Not only on news will this thing blow through .20, but it will shoot up through it like a freaking rocket. This is on the way to dollar land once we start making flights. That is what I am looking for!
Nice chart though!!
Looking forward to the PR...Good luck all!!

An interesting PR from TRSI today:
CLEVELAND, OH--(MARKET WIRE)--Sep 18, 2007 -- Trophy Resources (Other OTC:TRSI.PK - News) is announcing the end to their Joint Venture agreement with Russell Industries based on the desire to return to their base business plan.
Trophy Resources' original business plan, focusing on oil and natural gas well reentry and rework projects, was established in mid-2006, allowing for greater flexibility in capital expenditures while offering the ability to return the investment in a more expedient manner.
The end of this joint venture will also end the tenure of Mr. Rick Berman as a member of the Board of Directors of Trophy Resources. Mr. Berman, President and CEO of Russell Industries and American Uranium Mining Company, has tendered his resignation effective immediately.
Mr. Eric Leonetti, President and CEO of Trophy Resources, said, "We are saddened at the resignation of Mr. Berman, he added much to our management team and will be missed. We have begun an immediate search of his replacement and hope to have the seat filled on an interim basis in short order. A shareholders meeting will be held prior to the end of this year where we may elect new members to the board for a full term."
I have a feeling that TRSI saw the high level of incompetence with Rick Berman and his Uranium exploration. I have now seen two completely junk PR's regarding the exploration program for RSDS. I still have a tough time believing that Berman signed off on the two field reports by the two bozos Tony Brant and his Layne Berman. I have fully had it up to here with Berman. What is he thinking? My favorite quotes from the news releases and web updates below:
"The result of the laboratory confirmation of the samples taken from Russell’s Cache claims validated that there is, in fact, uranium present."
No kidding, a Geiger counter should have been able to confirm that immediately. They seem to be proficient enough with one anyway. See below:
"While working in this area, a tailings pile in close proximity to an abandoned uranium mine, last believed to be operational in the mid 1960s, was found. Using a hand-held Geiger counter on various areas of the pile revealed the presence of high-grade uranium. Certain areas registered as high as 4 percent while others registered between 1 and 3 percent."
Now I have used Geiger counters before and I am pretty sure they can't give you a grading of uranium. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but this seems laughable to me. Also, I love the wording. You know just working in the area and we stumbled across a giant pile of high grade uranium tailings. Are you kidding me? This is what they think EXPLORATION is?
"This tailings pile is so “hot” that even the air 5 feet above its surface registered 30 one hundredths on the Geiger counter. The pile itself is of impressive size. Although it was not actually measured, it is reasonable to believe that this tailings pile, if removed, would take at least twenty full truck loads."
30 one hundredths of a what? What they hell units are they in? How "HOT" is that? I bet if they held the Geiger counter 10 feet above the pile they would get a very similar numbers. It is radiation. How the heck did they get a geiger counter 5 feet above a pile that would take "twenty full truck loads" What size of truck? I just had a look in my unit conversion program and couldn't find the conversion for twenty truck loads to cubic meters. What the hell is that statement doing in the PR. Heck, what is any of it doing there? If this is their big uranium discovery, this POS is in trouble. Why the hell did we buy a drilling rig!!!!
"The above is consistent with the findings in Figure 2 of the Utah Geological Survey (Miscellaneous Publications 93-3) published in 2005. Figure 2 shows a heavy concentration of uranium ore throughout the Elk Ridge area where Russell owns 100 claims."
So are the heavy concentrations of Uranium in the ground or in tailing piles on the claims? Maybe we need to send "Eagle Eyes" Layne Berman out to the claims to verify we don't 100 piles of high grade uranium tailings on the claims. This is such a stupid statement.
"Although the percentage of ore from that particular sample is not considered sufficiently mineable, the result is such that drilling should continue on that permitted area in Utah’s Lisbon Valley, and the target depth should increase to an average of 350 feet."
Maybe we should not drill deeper and drill somewhere else. How deep were they drilling in the first place? Why don't they drill to 500 feet and see what they get. Why don't they get a wireline logging company in there that has a little more sophisticated equipment to evaluate the formations?
Sorry for all the off color commentary here, I am just shocked that Berman would actually think that these statements are worth even mentioning. Doesn't everyone have the same feelings?
All berman continues to do is parade around the incompetency that TRSI has finally had enough of. I have been in drilling for the last 6 years and the bulk majority of the statements lead me to believe that Berman has absolutely no clue how to mine uranium let alone the first thing about it. I commend TRSI for dumping him and I assume that they scrapped the acquisition of the mining claims.
I will continue to watch this stock, contribute as much DD as I can, and pray that it returns to higher levels, but I must say, I really don't think it will. I have no doubt that Berman is using this company to learn the ropes of uranium ming and then will turn his sites on AUMN. Look for him to start unloading some of his tens of millions of shares for millions in profits.

micro,
I have been in and out of NXG for a while now and I really think that this is an excellent point to either get back in or start accumulating. This stock was valued higher in the past and that was without the KN project on the table. I think that the price of gold will continue to rise and that hopefully NXG will be able to use some of that cash on hand to do something productive. I have been reluctant to take a position until the panel's report came out, but I was not terribly shocked by what they said. Seems like standard political speak to me. Anyway, I am going to hold long this time as I think there is potential, especially with the YD results that were released today.
-faz
Aware,
Did Berman give you the figure that is referenced in the news on the website? I would like to have a look at it.
Also, this is the worst PR I have ever read. A tailings pile just sitting around? Estimated 20 truck loads? What they hell?
I was a little bit more surprised to see some numbers in the PR, but would rather have things laid out in a table that is clear and concise. Anyway, guess we will wait for the lab data to come back.
Thanks,
-faz
Great article...thanks!!!
“It offers something other books don’t: the principles that apply to business and to life in general. I would call it complete,”
This is very true of Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, not only is the book a user's guide to capitalism, but it also contains a large dose of common sense.
Have a great weekend!!

Bri,
I am just waiting for the next PR from either RSDS or AUMN before I rush to judgment on this stock. I have a feeling that Berman has lost any remaining goodwill that he had stored up, however, I still feel that there is a great potential with the mining claims we still have.

Nice to break above the 50 day MA!! I think you are correct, next week will be great! Have a good weekend everyone! Time for a few beers.

Lovin the ride today. Makes for a great weekend!
Correctomundo!
BAM! .74 prints!!!
Started a position in this today. I like the diversity in this ETF.

Cheers dak! Looks like this has some sweet potential. Been watching for a few weeks now and thought it was the right time to jump in.

Thanks,
Will do. I have poured over the stuff in the ibox already, looks very complete. Thanks for all the effort!

Hey all, just opened a small position in DPDW at .66 after following my man dak77 over here. Looks like this has some serious potential!!

Seeing great volume today. Chance we might get to the 15's soon.
Good cartoon!
Hanging in there. What a bumpy ride these last few days. I find it very interesting the volume in the 5's yesterday. I wonder if that was just a MOMO play or if someone knows something. I still am very reluctant to buy anymore shares until we get some disclosure. Should be due for a PR sometime this week.
-faz
Definitely weird. The number listed by Makes is the same number that I got from the TA on the 23rd of August. Glad to see it has not increased.
-faz
This has taken a beating in the last few days. Might be a nice entry point around .20
-faz
Oddly enough, I don't have a watch on either! LOL!
Nice...I would buy that except I am on my PDA right now and in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately, can't get to my L2's on my TREo.
-faz
Anyone have the L2's?
Don't hold your breath.
Surely the honorable Rick Berman wouldn't permit any buying on insider info. LOL!!!
All jokes aside, it would be nice to get back to the 6's or even higher!
-faz
Yeah, it took out a sell order that I had in for .0005 from a while ago. Just ate right through it.
Unreal!
Has anyone seen any news out today?
-faz
What is going on? 5's are printing big!!!!
Should see 700k really soon!
I will order mine today!!!
