If I have calls, I sell (to open ) calls of another strike. Now…which strike and which expiration date? That is more complicated. One has to study the matter first before doing it with cash…
I agree. I am ready for DRYS
It means that if we break that midline, we can expect to go to the next step: 103.22
Big time activity on Jul VIX calls 7 days before VIX OpEx!!! Most popular strikes: 26 & 35 (?!)
VVUS up in pre-market: “In a review posted to its Web site Tuesday, U.S. drug regulators said Vivus'(VVUS) weight-loss drug Qnexa was effective in helping obese patients shed pounds, but the agency raised questions -- most of them expected -- about the drug's safety.”
There is still hope…even for fat people…
VIX on sale. 1st support at 23. VIX OpEx next Tue.
Jamba! Jamba!
Erratum: First target for PCLN = 223.3 which is also a 50% retracement of the previous move down.
Yes, I agree…First target for PCLN = 233.3 which is also a 50% retracement of the previous move down.
One more thing about the RUT (2) chart (click above): one should also notice that the “3 level” is the tip of a rising wedge, which suggests that an intermediate downturn could happen sooner.
SPX. The sloped 38.20% Fib imbedded in the FORK worked well so far. But the Midnight Cowboy might buy futures and THEY could gap easily above it on Monday morning. If so, we shall have a rendezvous with our old friend 1103.22, possibly on 07/16 (OpEx!). I also noticed that this level is harder to break when the index is rising than when it’s dropping.
U R right! It is!
SPX. This A.G. FORK has its midline superimposed on the 1x1 line of the Gann Fan originating at the same point. Note also that I set Fibonacci ratios as parallel lines within the Fork. They are hurdles while the midline (50%) should act as an attractant. For simplicity, I have no wave counts after June 2.
So the question is: is this a tradable rally or a “bearly” oversized bull-trap? I think it is a rally that we should trade.
Nice! We'll see if they can break it!
Yes, that's a good guess.
MA looks good. It will clear 208 and then (if the new uptrend lasts) it can go to 211 and later to 223.
Maybe…. For whatever reason this company seems to have a lot of enemies among the Market honchos.
I don't trust this market in either direction! AAPL is the victim of the present "condition"...
