I remember when I joined there were only 3 of you and you were joking about taking turns each day buying. My, how things have changed!
Mostly for the better, of course, except for the fact that we could buy shares for under $.03 at the time!
And let me be the first to say that I for one welcome our new lowman overlord. (Obligatory Simpsons paraphrase)
I think everyone has been expecting this to just go away sooner that later, but you're right maybe it would be good to have a list.
Worst case they fix the next day. That's usually how things work, right?
Heeellooooooo! Anybody out there?!?!!?
Don't tell me you're all hungover? Great. How many days until the market opens? :)
Seriously, I was doing some backtracking over there at RB the other day and those folks are just plain mean and nasty. There are folks there on the boards been fighting each other for years and years.
LOL. Here I am correcting someone's numbers and can't even get my own right. At least I did when I first noticed there were mulitple leases being quoted.
No problem, just didn't want any false expectations.
Of course, I don't think that is unreasonable for 12-18 months from now. ;)
The company is projecting 1500/month, not per day. However, that is just for the Montgomery County leases. The Woodson County leases have been producing for quite some time and shipped 900 bbls in December, with more wells coming online all the time.
So minimum we are looking at 2400bbls/month come February, but probably a bit more from the new wells coming online.
In March we will have more the newly drilled wells come online. Of course, we don't even know everything about the Woodson County leases, that is what was promised in the next PR.
It was very hard for me to "average up" at first when we started to run, since I got in below $.03 initially. I finally just did broke down and did it from $.05->$.07.
Now I am very glad I did.
What were all those mirror trades at the end there? I never have heard a good explanation of what they are doing when they do that?
I think I know why the short MMs haven't covered yet. They can't. I bet the L2s aren't stacked up deep enough for them to even cover.
Normally, I think they would just bite the bullet and run it up until they had the shares they needed, but since the shares aren't there they can't even do that. They don't know where it would top out and are too nervous to give it a shot.
Their only choice is to slowly (and hopefully painfully) walk it up to where more people are willing to sell. They don't even make much headway doing it that way either.
Of course, this is just speculation, but I sure would like to know what the real short position is including all the NS from $.02.
Undoubtedly. :)
Wouldn't want to give them any ideas or give too subtle of an example since not all our shareholders are equipped to understand the difference despite the disclaimer. LOL.
Yes the longer a MA is the less volatile, so when the 50 day crosses the 200DMA it is fairly significant.
There is a whole board here on iHub dedicated to stocks that are crossing over like that.
Should we practice? It will be like this...
SomeNewPoster: I hear the DTC issue is because of some lawsuit against Hemi and they might halt the stock. Apparently, this Keith guy has be lying to people about blah blah blah...
**NOTE FOR THE IGNORANT NOT FOLLOWING THE CONVERSATION**
**THIS IS NOT TRUE, IT IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT SOME BASHER**
**MAY SAY TO DRIVE DOWN THE PSS TO PICK UP SOME CHEAPIES**
**LINK BACK BEFORE YOU MAKE A FOOL OF YOURSELF**
Is that enough of a disclaimer?
Yes, the earth does regenerate oil, it only takes a few hundred million years is all. That's why they call it fossil fuels.
It wasn't made from dinosaurs, but from other prehistoric organic materials like algae.

Very nice recovery, I am almost back to even. :) Wish I had put it in HMGP instead, but that ok that is where most of my money was.
When the 50DMA crosses above the 200DMA
Not that I know anything at all about it, but if they were looking before the DTC issue, then they were looking at buying when it was in the $.30 - $.40 range, right?
Go back to the December 5th PR, someone wants stock and the company won't issue more:
In November several financial entities contacted Hemi Energy with offers to acquire stock and/or participation in well development. The company is in discussions with these parties in developing financial options to expedite development of our Kansas oil field without diluting shares and thereby safeguarding our stockholders interest. Hemi is considering an equipment debt instrument, one of several financing options available to us. This funding could also be used in conjunction with other financial ventures in expediting new well development. No form of convertible adjustable price debenture, commonly known in the marketplace as death spiral financing, will be issued by Hemi Energy for any form of financing.
Shareholders with blocks of stock may consider contacting the company for information about referrals. This, in no way, should be construed as an offer to buy or sell stock. Hemi Energy is not making an offer to buy stock and is not acting as an agent for buying or selling of stock.
Where can I get access to HMGP new more than 6 months old?
By assets do you mean pumped oil vs reserves or unpumped oil?
And what specific extrapolations are you referring to?
I take it you are local to the area, perhaps someone that Hemi leases from?
True, true. I will pull seed money out eventually, but I've decided not to put any pre-conceived price point on it.
If I had done the sell half at double my average thing, that lots of people are fond of, I would have had a very very sad Christmas.
I think he may have finally decided to cover. I think he has been the last week or so. Unfortunately, I think everything played right into his hands.
Someone had a ton to sell and NITE knew it, but the wouldn't sell below $.02 or so. NITE has probably just about covered his short position or will have soon.
In the mean time, it has made a good buying opportunity for the rest of us.
Book of Hemi.
I've been reading the Book of Hemi after studying the UofK geological website. Interesting stuff. I am still too new to O&G to really have my head around it all yet, but I am going to get there. The Kansas leases are on a big field spread across many counties. Has anyone even realized that the projections in the PRs are for different sets of leases? The 900 (december) to 1400 (february) projection is completely separate from the 1500 (february) projection. Maybe I just missed that myself.
There is the Woodson county leases which the PR said would be about 1400 barrels in February. This lease will only have 50% of the well reworked by then, so I am sure the final numbers could be well over 2000 maybe 2500.
The 1500 barrels mentioned in the other PR is for another lease deal just completed. It is in a whole separate county. These Montgomery county leases are separately estimated to produce 1500 barrels in February.
I re-read Keith's email to lowman as well. "We will continue making disclosures. We will keep turning our cards over so the investors truly see what we/they have. I hope in the end, the readers take ALL THE PR's and read them like chapters in a book and have a complete picture of what they own"
Keith isn't trying to put their best foot forward in these PRs. He is slowly showing one card at a time. The MMs are playing Holdem' with a Texan and apparently that is really a bad idea.
Hemi's been at this for over 5 years. I don't really think that the leases in Kansas and a couple of other ones mentioned are all that they are holding. Their website says they have at least 80K acres leased. That's like 125 square miles and my guess is it is the cream of the crop of everything they have been able to come up with out of their research library.
I don't know if they are just now really starting to develop these leases or if they have been developing them all along. Probably the former, but either way they seem to be moving full steam ahead now with developing these leases.
You folks can go ahead and set your GTC orders in the high teens and twenties. I'll start thinking about selling after we break a dollar and then I might just think again.
I thought about taking some profits in the teens then I asked myself, where will I put it.
I decided I would probably put it back into HMGP, so perhaps I will just leave it where it is. :)
Lets hope so.
It seems to be holding right here around $.02. I don't know if that is support or someone refusing to sell much cheaper. :)
StockCharts doesn't have NHYB. Please go request it at

Yes, once we hit that golden cross, there will be a whole new bunch of folks coming in, or a little earlier if they are smart.
I think I'll just wait until Keith decides to sell the shooting match. Hopefully, in the $2-$7 range.
Welcome aboard zguy! So, where did you find out about HMGP?
OT: Sorry Dancer, it was a bad joke. Endor, Ewoks. It was a bad starwars pun.
Oh, I believe they intend malice, all right, but not everything bad is them.
I just got out of a play where everyone was blaming everything on the MMs and most of it turned out to be the snakes at the company itself. That's what I love about Hemi, good solid management!!!
NDOR is that the one that has the joint venture going with EWOK?
There is always someone willing to sell. Not everyone is waiting for $.20, $.30, $.50, or even $5 like some.
It was probably just someone taking profits. The only problem is they don't really know what they are doing and are selling at the bid (bidwacking). They easily could have done better, even if they absolutely had to sell today. Oh well, their loss.
Personally, there is no way I am selling when we are tracking above the MAs like this.
And a map
http://geoportal.kgs.ku.edu/kgs/oilgas/imageviewer/map.cfm?field_kid=1000146306&fieldmap=yes&...
I think Hemi's fields are in the north-west corner, but I need to go re-read the PRs and such.
And all of it below my average PPS. :(
Here is a database done by the Univ of Kansas. It tracks fields and wells in the state. This link is for the Humboldt-Chanute field. It takes some digging, but the Bennet leases are there and a lot of others. This is a pretty big field.
I am working on isolating the wells that HMGP owns, but I am not sure if I have enough data or know how.

Well, if you haven't gone back that far then you may not know of the DTC issue. Some technical issue that the DTC is being slow to resolve. It was discovered late summer and a number of brokers stopped trading the stock.
Lots of times when such irregularities happen it is a sign of misbehavior on the part of the company and so people get out. That isn't the case with Hemi, but it is enough to have scared some people. That seems to be about the time the MMs started shorting if they did. The PPS headed down hill from then on and finally found a bottom around $.02. I think the MMs didn't expect this to take off until the DTC thing was resolved, but it did anyway and may have caught them up short.
Keith had a bunch of good news they were waiting to release this fall. They were waiting for the DTC issue to clear up first so nothing would inhibit trading. I think they gave up waiting and started to release some of the recent PRs despite the DTC issue. Expectation is this is only the beginning and when everything is cleared up there will be more to tell.
Nah, you can turn it into oil!

Let's put something like this in the iBox:
http://www.wtrg.com/daily/small/clfclose.gif
Looking a little more closely, no one is really selling shares. There are a few real shares going through, but I tested it out with some sells below the ask and it is the MMs moving it around today.
Guess I was wrong. They took it even lower. Whoever is selling is playing right into the MMs hands letting them cover.
Well, someone tried opening the tap again. They got some sold, but the MMs took the bid below $.02 quickly. I've think they've figured out that whoever is doing this systematic unloading isn't willing to let them go much below $.02.
I hate to be too negative, because there is a good chance I am wrong. But it looks like the company as snaked a lot of people in to being long on this stock, while they sell shares themselves. I know there are a lot of people holding shares from higher up and they may have been taken for a ride.
Hopefully, for the rest of us this is nearing the bottom, but I am a little more cautious now. I'm already red. This stock has seen some good bounces in the past but the chart is looking kind of deflated. Way to much negative volume these past few weeks.
If it breaks beyond this level it is a lost cause.
