Penny, You made a serious accusation against me.
I did not call you a pumper; I expect a retraction of your statement.
Please ensure that an apology is forth coming.
Mary.
Hello Penny, when I spoke to Learning, I never said one word about you in any shape or form. You had nothing what so ever to do with the post at all. I am really blind sided with this comment.
Mary.

When I first began posting on the board, I had many disagreements with R.S. I was a thorn in R.S side. Let me assure you that I did not receive any pats on the back for my insolence.
As moderator I was a bit exasperated by R.S. and his timing but on a personal level the information that he gave to me I felt he was making the right decision.
As Moderator one off the first changes I made was to have the pictures removed.
Learningasitgoes, I am not in the least bit annoyed with your statements nor do I disapprove of you voicing your opinions. Those are your feelings and you have a right to them.
We need to learn from past experiences and ensure that we do not allow anyone to use the board to pump up any stock for any reason. Let us be on guard and ensure that we do not get caught up in anything unless we have it in writing with the company stamp.
We also need to be vigilant in making sure that the pumpers who come on board pumping stocks are deleted off the board as quickly as possible, and let them move onto another board to find their next meal.
Thank you for your post, nice to see you on board.
Mary.
Regarding Redsky, at one time he would email/phone me, but the last time I spoke with him he advised me that he was moving onto some other project regarding his own affairs.
I do not believe anyone has any real knowledge of what he is doing; it would be pure speculation to render an opinion.
I will be happy to forward on any information regarding Redsky when he contacts me again in the future.

OK Rivet, good to have you on board..

(Repeat post) Members off The Community. I need volunteers to come forward to represent the community on a conference call. (If I can get one with Ken Lamb.)
I would ask you to look into your heart before you come forward. I need people who will think off our community first. We need to think as a team, a group, a community. We need Ken lamb to be successful and the company to succeed and we as shareholders to be successful in our investment.
I need volunteers who will go on an information search, and look for answers. Please do not volunteer if you wish to rip off Ken Lambs head, we need answers to our questions.
Our Community needs good people to volunteer who will represent us who will not have the opportunity to be involved in the conference call. We need people that we can put our trust into and trust that they will do a good job for us all.
Please think about what I am asking off you, and if you can think off our community and help our community, please send me a note with your name and I will start a list of volunteers so that I will be ready to move forward on Thursday once the survey has shown what we as a group want to do.
Please also be aware that you have to be a shareholder, and be willing to provide some form of telephone number, email address etc for Ken lamb.
.
Best wishes to all Mary
Members off the Community, please come out and vote on the new survey, your voice needs to be heard. Please vote asap. I will be conting the vote Wednesday night, so please vote and let your voice be heard.

mary
hello Goldbuyer, go to the last message and look up and you will see the word survey, press on that and you will be able to vote.
Mary.
ghesh, Thanks Sam I will give him the answer... lolol. I looked at that message and to be honest I would never have gotten 'the vote' from that statement. Well, we all live and learn. I knew this old lady she told me; if you don't learn something new everyday you remain stupid. ahahah.
I have had my learning curve for today..lolol.
Mary.
goldbuyer, welcome to the board and Ihub. I see your a new alias to Ihub thank you for coming to visit with us here at MGMX. I am sorry to say I am not really quite sure what your asking, perhaps you would be willing to expand a little so that I understand and might be able to give you the answer to your question.

Repeat post. Members please take the 'new' survey. Please vote on how you wish to be represented during the Conference Call.
This vote will be open until Wednesday night.
Please cast your vote ASAP.
Once I get the result I will send off the registered letter to Ken Lamb requesting a Conference Call.
Your opinion is valued your vote respected.
thank you Mary
Hello Max, I have put up as many options as possible on the survey. I will be trying to organize a conference call. Last year I tried to organize a shareholders meeting I could only get two other members willing to travel to Toronto with me.
It is in our Community spirit that we have power. If we move into who owns more shares and individualize we loose. In our Community there is no room for a lone wolf. We either move as a group or we stand still.
When you have a large open cc you run the possibility of non shareholders and agitators and bashers destroying the meeting. I believe those who voted against an open meeting where concerned regarding this very real possibility. The people who voted against the meeting have every right to vote how they wish, and their vote holds validity.
The last cc was Chevy Lizard and my-self plus Ken Lamb and some other members off the company. To be honest I think any more would have been far too many. I would not have been comfortable in the situation or involved. With too many people it is too difficult to keep control off the situation.
The last CC was organized in quite a short period off time. This meeting will be organized in such a way hoping that management will be happy to meet with our community as they where for the last CC.
We are a community, everyone is important and everyone has a voice. I asked people to talk up for themselves and they have spoken.
Mary.

Results for the General Shareholders Meeting/CC Aug/05/2007 Survey
The purpose of the survey was that over the majority would carry the vote so 83% which is well over the majority wish a Shareholders meeting.
Only a slight majority 66% voted for the meeting to be open to all shareholders. This part off the survey will have to be retaken with a different focus.
I will write up a letter to Ken Lamb requesting a meeting and will send it off by registered mail.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote.
Mary.
Hello Sam, I am muleofkintire I mod this board. Many months ago the membership took a vote and as a group we took the time to vote and came to a consensus that any information that affects gold or oil is on topic.
You are allowed to disapprove off any post you wish, and any poster too, please use the ignore option to overcome this problem.
There are some rules that we do abide by which are you do not abuse other members. You can be deleted for being off topic and spamming. Please ensure that you do not spam as that will get your post deleted.
Thank you for posting.
Mule.
Members off the Community, this is the last day to take the survey please come forward and have your say.
Please speak up and let me hear your voice. I will write a note to all members later on tonight or tomorrow regarding what we as a community want to do next.
Looks like gold is up $11.00+ so this is a nice close on the weekend.
Thank you Mary.
Peter Brimelow: What's up with gold? Submitted by cpowell on 09:19PM ET Thursday, August 9, 2007. Section: Daily Dispatches Tandem Movement DownwardWith Stocks Raises Suspicions By Peter BrimelowMarketWatch.comFriday, August 10, 2007 http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/gives-markets/story.aspx?guid=%7B0F0C1842%2D0C3E%2D41DB%2D91E3... NEW YORK -- A triple-digit down day on financial system fears, but gold gaps down too. What gives? First, a proprietary word. The Hulbert Stock Newsletter Sentiment Index, which reflects the average stock market exposure among a subset of short-term market timing newsletters tracked by the Hulbert Financial Digest, stood at 8.6% Thursday night. That's down sharply from 44.5% three weeks ago. But the Dow Jones Industrial Average is only down some 200 points. I think that Mark Hulbert (I can't get him on the phone at press time) would view this flowering fear as positive from a contrary opinion viewpoint. Which is essentially what the respected institutional service Hays Advisory thinks. Don Hays is a Wall Street Triumphalist permabull, but it periodically shows nuance and, hey, we've just been through a super boom. On Thursday, Hays wrote: "Clients are way more Pessimistic than Euphoric in the John Templeton market cycle of 'Bull Markets are Born on Pessimism, Grow on Skepticism, Mature on Optimism, and Die on Euphoria.' Our Asset Allocation Model confirms what we have heard in the field; that clients are very nervous. This bull market still has a long way to go before Euphoria. Don't try to be the hero. Don't wait for the next pullback. It is not too late to put money in the market after yesterday ([i.e. Wednesday, when the Dow finished up 153 points--remember?) This is a young and vibrant bull market. ...Welcome to the party. The room feels a little empty, but that is just the way we like it." Obviously, the young bull market has vibrated down dramatically since Hays posted. The room must feel even emptier. I'll be watching to see if Hays still likes it. A service that absolutely doesn't like it is Bill Murphy's Web site, Le Metropole Cafe. Murphy and his writers argue that the financial markets in general and gold in particular are being manipulated by the central banks to sustain an inflationary boom. Thursday's paradoxical combination of subprime-triggered financial system risk, overt central bank intervention, and sudden massive selling in the gold market was right up their street. Thursday night, Murphy published this comment: "Barely an hour after gold's plunge, the European Central Bank was asserting its willingness to inject liquidity, which it subsequently announced it had done on an unprecedented scale. There was a time when liquidity injections in a situation of financial stress stimulated gold -- most notably in the great reversal in August 1982. Now the relationship appears directly inverted. Many will be inclined to join the dotted lines." But the Cafe remains confident, partly because its research indicates that booming India continues to gobble gold. It writes: "MKS (the Geneva-based gold dealer) observes in its daily comment that physical demand 'was significant' this afternoon and gold, unlike the stock market, moved sideways in the final hours. These are dream conditions for the Indian public and its agents." And then there's Richard Russell. As I wrote, the Dow Theory Letters veteran is on the rack, having finally abandoned his bearishness only to see the market apparently give a Dow Theory sell signal. Russell is intensely jumpy. But Thursday night he wrote that the Dow Theory sell signal had not been confirmed: "The good news: the July lows are still intact and the new lows are contracting. The bad news Selling Pressure is rising to new highs, and an increasing number of people want 'OUT' of this market. Tomorrow is Friday, and by tomorrow's close we'll see how many traders are willing to hold stocks over the weekend. Fridays are always significant in rotten markets." * * * Join GATA at these conferences:
good day mate.. nice to see your alive Max. good luck today Mary

Members off the Community. When you take the survey please be aware there are two questions to be answered. Tomorrow is Friday, last day to vote. Please take advantage of the opportunity to have your voice heard. I do not wish to be presumptuous and think that I understand how everyone thinks as I do not know and I want to know. Please do not let others talk for you. Take your place at the table and have your say. Your voice is important take the time and let it count.
Good luck tomorrow with your investments and good luck to all.
Mary

Hello Maxgold, I think I am the only person with access to that information other than possibly Matt who is the Mod off all the boards. I will check that out for you. I will get back to you on that one.. sorry that I do not know that off the top off my head.
Mary

good night to everyone. Good luck with your investments tomorrow. Mary.
(Repeat post regarding survey) Members off The Community. Please take a few minutes and go to the survey box and cast your vote. I wish this to be a united front. I need the vast majority of the share holders to show how they feel about a conference call/meeting with the management. Everyone needs to vote, I need a clear picture of how we all feel as a community. Please come forward and take your position and make your voice heard. I am only one person, with one voice. You all have a voice let it be heard. We are heading into Wednesday it is your time to be heard. Let me understand how you feel. I get emails from many off the community, but I do not know how you who do not communicate with me feel. Please this is your opportunity to talk out and be heard.
Thank you Mary
Hello Panning, I appreciate that you took the time to vote and everyone else who have done likewise.
I want to ensure I correctly understand how our community feels.
The survey gives everyone the opportunity to safely have an opinion. Sometimes stepping forward on a message board and posting takes the skills and training and experience off a veteran Spartan
My hope would be that the survey will bypass all the training needed to be able to voice an opinion without the hardship rendered to some who try to have their voice heard.
I am but one in a collective off many but I feel that I would like to know what the company is doing with my investment I do not think I am asking a lot by wishing answers.
Sorry Panning I still have not been able to catch up with you yesterday I was doing my Civic Duty and singing at our Heritage Park for the Civic Holiday. I had a few hours off singing and by the end my voice was almost gone.
Nice to see you on board Panning, hope all is well with you and your young family.
Mary
Hello Max, glad that I got your attention. To help you stay on top of information, would you consider adding yourself to the email listing. Just go to the last message posted and look up and see where it says (ADD TO EMAIL LIST) just press that open and go in there and add yourself and I will send you an email with any information that I have to offer.
Best wishes to you Max, nice to see you on board and voting.
Thank you for your continued support, always great to get such good positive feedback.
Thank you.

MONTREAL, Aug 5 (Reuters) - Canada's gold stocks may glitter in the weeks ahead if jittery investors seek a safe haven in producers of the precious metal.
The S&P/TSX global gold index (.SPTTGD: Quote, Profile, Research) closed the past week at 278.84, down slightly from 279.36 the previous week, but almost 10 percent above its year low of 254.04.
Spot gold <XAU=> edged higher on Friday to $673 an ounce, as traders said buying interest turned toward the metal. Friday's price was about $100, or 18 percent, above its mid-October low.
The rationale behind drilling into gold stocks stems from global economic trends including inflation, swings in currency and stock markets as well as fundamentals in the gold sector.
Nervous investors tend to flock to safe-haven investments such as gold bullion during stock market selloffs and when the U.S. dollar declines.
Speculation that the U.S. Federal Reserve could lower interest rates -- even as central banks in Europe and Japan head the other way -- could pressure the greenback further.
That may drive investors deeper into gold bullion, but also into gold stocks, which have underperformed lately and where profits are boosted by higher prices and production.
Those already invested in mining may follow recommendations to favor gold over base metals stocks, some of which have been lifted by takeover premiums in the global frenzy for assets. Continued...
