We will always be dependent on Natural Gas until the powers that be start allowing the heating of our homes with Fuelcell technology. Jack, I believe that technology will eventually allow hydrogen to be produced from other sources effectively like Sun and water, algae. Plug is already producing it on site I believe I read, so just bring it on line(down the line).?

Fuel cells do not require a fossil fuel back up engine Jack! So, from yesterday you said you received a $3000 dollar high voltage charger with your purchase BUT you did pay for a fossil fuel engine you rarely utilize!$ Fact!

Personally I'm waiting for the real car company that stops the madness and goes all in on non- fossil fuel. GM is just riding the wave if I could tag on to my last posting here. Also Jack, Gas stabilizer won't protect the engine, only running it with fresh gas and oil will! Fyi

Between Fuel Cell Technology "hitting" the road and EV growing I think GM and other domestic companies will look like GE eventually if they do not adjust, adapt, and cut cut cut! They had plenty of years of opportunity to get on board instead of playing both sides of the "NEW" Fence that's called Non fossil fuel. This FCEV technology wave will bury them eventually! And oh, it won't matter what the price of oil is either- GM is on the chopping block to be sure. Let's see who will be next?

My exact point, warranty the battery product to the "hilt" so that potential buyers can overcome the stigma of "Buyer beware" when it comes to a stand alone battery driven/operated product!$

Replacing deadbeat batteries in Tesla's model X, how much $$ and how often?? What's Tesla saying and what is really the truth?? Bet it's way more than the offset cost of hydrogen versus fossil fuel gas and diesel - which is only cheap when a barrel of oil is! What will the price of Hydrogen be once Walmart replaces all their pumps with Hydrogen dispensers in the coming years??
