Definitely beginning to turn upwards, as you said.
This is no coincidence. The property in question is the same as the Krong site. The description is right out of the TSINIGRI report: "on the Voimega River, 156 km east of Moscow." Trench depth 150 m. Area 60,000 sq. m. Same property.
What is up with Zoloto Ventures? How do they say they acquired this property?
Sounds like another Canadian scam to me.
Thanks for the link to the weekly chart, paps3. Are we set up to move up next week or what!
From the chart, looks like uptrend will continue next week.
Well said, AC. That's the benefit of being long: you get to know the flow of how a stock trades and how its price moves.
I once worked on a licensing agreement between a Japanese company and a business I help manage. From our initial introduction to the signing of the contract, it took about one year. Many opportunists on these message boards are not interested in sticking with a Company with enormous growth potential like Aqaugold Int'l. They can't wait to get in and out, not caring how long it takes for a business to solidify its plan for expansion.
I think it's a matter of temperament and vision. If you are patient and can see where management is headed, you can derive the greatest financial benefit. Like Daniel Sauve told me about six months ago: patience, patience and patience. The share price then was .0005, and I was buying. Probably the best investment decision I ever made.
Gotta keep the big picture in the forefront. When it becomes apparent that AQUI will be moving to a higher exchange by becoming fully reporting, and when real revenues from increasing sales are PR'ed, this Company will distinguish itself from all other pinksheet stocks.
We already have had two major contracts announced, one for nearly $200M. This is not characteristic of pinksheet stocks. Soon they will announce their capital funding which will probably have an even greater impact on share price than the contract announcements. The general trend is upward and it will continue upward as long as the Company sticks to its business plan and keeps shareholders informed.
Those who are holding long are not waiting for a sudden spike so they can unload. They know this is just the beginning, and that the future shines brightly for this little gem and for those who continue to hold on tightly to their shares.
In this economic climate, which stock is not risky?
Read today's PR and you will see that the wheels are in motion to make AQUI a fully reporting company.
Just wanted to mention that we are watching a Company take shape after a year long struggle to survive. We have a new CEO who is on top of his game, negotiating a mega contract and capital funding which will allow Aquagold Int'l. to get back on its feet and eventually take its place among the great names in bottled water.
The original bottler from a year ago, Iroquois Water, went out of business and has been replaced with a top-notch bottling company, St. Leger.
A year ago, the only water that had been shipped to China was for humanitarian aid. It had a cheap label on an ordinary plastic bottle. Now we are shipping premier Canadian bottled spring water in newly designed packaging for commercial sale.
A year ago we didn't have the moulds to create the new bottle.
Moulds cost about $30,000 to produce, but the money wasn't there. Now everything is in place for production to meet the demand in China for Canadian spring water and the first part of the first order was shipped and has cleared customs. The new bottle design and packaging will soon be on display.
The Company is working on branding, building name recognition with the Aquagold Superface 2009 competition which is seen on T.V. by millions in China. I never heard of a pinksheet company before with this kind of exposure. Demand for the product is already growing along with general public awareness.
I believe it is wise to plan on holding AQUI for the long haul. Domingo Silvas III has taken the wheel and by his professional management skills is carving out a place for Aquagold Int'l. in the global premium bottled water industry.
I think when he heard about the opportunity to run the company, he saw gold. Now he will see to it that we all
prosper as shareholders of AQUI.
I think we've seen today's bottom. Ready to move back up.
Top of the morning to ya'. I'm on the way to work but wanted to post that the law firm mentioned in today's PR (Brinen and Associates) is the one I visited at 7 Dey St. They told me they would be handling contracts and filings for Aquagold.
See y'all later. Time to make the donuts.
Nice buying opportunity here at .016.
Sorry, but you are misquoting the PR. It said "estimates (forward looking) on the contract exceed $500M." The actual contract was $118M, and that is a fact. Manuel da Silva was a dishonest, conniving weasel who played the game only for his own benefit and will soon pay the price. When I brought up his false promises at the April, 2008 meeting, the lawyers replied that that was the reason he was no longer with the Company.
PP1, take a look at the new face of Aquagold. With Domingo Silvas III at the helm, we are ready to launch. We learned from the mistakes of the past and now look to new leadership for our future success.
More like a leak than a rumor. We found out about the funding at the same time we heard the new contract had been negotiated for nearly $200M, at least a week before the PR hit the wires.
Actually, it was July 9.
The only other guy I remember on that side of the room was about thirty with short and kind of grayish hair like Taylor Hicks, an impish smile and a little heavier that the challenging questioner he sat next to. Maybe from Connecticut.
I think the challenger was from Astoria, Queens.
And then there were two ladies on the opposite side of the room. One of them was a mod here at the time.
Haha -- so you were the quiet analytical guy.
So much has changed since the meeting. Most important is the appointment of a new CEO who was able to raise $15M in capital funding, soon to be announced.
(heard it through the grapevine)
I believe they are okay with the share structure for now, but what you are proposing would make a lot of sense if they decide to move to AMEX. They may also attempt a share buyback if they become very profitable to reduce the O/S. Personally, I don't believe they are nearly as focused on the pps as we are. They are totally focused on building the business, knowing that the share price will follow.
Were you the guy who started asking all the challenging questions?
I agree with you 100%. Slow but sure, trending upward. Money in the bank, if you are patient.
I think you were sitting on the other side of Anvil at the meeting, quiet and analytical. I asked them where the money would come from to launch and Paul said they didn't know. Now they know.
You may not have long to wait, especially if you are holding a few million shares. I drank the water but kept the empty bottle.
The last person I communicated with was the new CEO, Domingo Silvas III, by email a few weeks ago. He didn't mention any specific future plans, only that "this is just the beginning."
Obviously, sales and marketing will be focused on China for the next year, but I know Aquagold Int'l. will eventually be looking beyond China for future growth, and that means more contracts.
They have mentioned starting another product line in addition to their premium spring water, but I don't have any further details. Could it be flavored waters, carbonated water, spring water with electrolytes? I think we will hear more in the coming months once we are rolling in China.
That was Anvil who left early, and I was sitting next to him collecting bottles of Aquagold premium spring water that I later mailed to some of the I-Hub members who are still psoting here.
That's not too shabby a price, considering it only takes into account the one contract with Wolong.
That's the point. There are so many other factors involved besides the Company's projected sales. There is also the downward pressure arising from short-selling, although I don't think you can short a pinksheet stock from an account in the U.S. On this exchange, price fluctuations are so unpredictable that a buy and hold approach might be the best strategy to make bank with AQUI considering all of the news that is yet to come.
We really shouldn't be calculating eps based on a single contract. Aquagold already has another contract for 4.32 million bottles and other contracts on the way. There will be other product introductions during the coming year, as well, so to calculate a suitable price for an exploding start-up enterprise of this sort will not really be an accurate measure of the Company's value per share.
To be conservative, I would take 10% of revenues, but I would use a multiple of 15.
Looks like you're taking revenues and not profits.
The Company has not had revenues to date, so to determine
the earnings per share, you would take projected profits (not revenues) for the next twelve months and divide by the total number of shares issued and outstanding.
If earnings per share is .01, for example, you can take a multiple of 10 to 15 or whatever is the average in the industry to determine a reasonable price per share. Conservatively, if eps is .01, the share price would be between .10 and .15.
Generally, we don't see pinksheet stocks adhering to this formula, though. So much is based on momentum, buying and selling pressure, MM manipulation, and so on.
Not to worry. I do not believe any such move is imminent. Those of us who know the principals, the corporate officers, know these men to be truthful and responsible. They will always act in the interest of AQUI shareholders. If AQUI were to move to a higher exchange like the AMEX, it would have to meet certain requirements in terms of assets, pricing, number of shareholders and so on. It is not uncommon for a Company in that situation to raise its share price through a reverse split in order to qualify for an uplisting.
In the case of a reverse merger, the principle change for AQUI would be in terms of reporting requirements which would add to the company's transparency, making it a less volatile investment that could more easily attract institutional investors.
See y'all at the opening bell.
It's nice to know our moderators are in touch with the Company. Welcome, Skeena! I know you will do a good job.
We knew this day would come, and we kinda knew when it would come. Personally, I was surprised to see so many new faces on this thread as soon as the PR hit the news wire today.
This is a real company with a real product and a real business plan. AQUI probably won't stay on the pinksheets for long. I was told that at the meeting last April (2008) in New York
City. The difference between now and then is that the new CEO has the experience to make it all happen. He has been there and done that. A company with $200M+ in contracts belongs on a higher exchange, not on the pinksheets, and some of us will be holding our shares (at least most of them) until we reach the promised land.
You always kept your eye on the ball, skeena, saying this was the real deal. Your patience should be paying off handsomely.
Good call.
No lemmings here. We're riding the momentum of this story stock. AQUI could easily see .05 this week. That's not bad at all, especially if you were buying at .0005 just a few months ago. And to think we're just getting started. We haven't even had reports of retail sales or the outcome of the 2009 Miss Aquagold competition yet.
Phase II is now underway and smart money is starting to come in. A few more days of 20M shares traded will attract a lot of attention to AQUI. So hold onto your lugnuts, doc. This is just the beginning.
I expect to see a PR soon announcing $15M in capital funding that has been arranged by the new CEO, Domingo Silvas.
This is still a good time to start buying AQUI, if one hasn't already gotten on board.
Next order should be filled by St. Leger in one week and shipped to China to arrive by late August. That will most likely be the remaining four containers from the initial order. We'll be looking for a PR to that effect as well as news about initial sales from retail locations in China.
For those of us who have been here for a while, it looks like trading may be a little slower until the new funding and contract are announced. It appears that for the time being, we will be building a new base just above .01. IMO
I agree, Skeena, unless it is to reset at a required minimum price to be listed on a higher exchange like AMEX somewhere down the road.
You won't hear me complain.
BTW, this is the real deal.
