Ouch! in PM..
would be nice if we don't have to go back to 1.60s
nh...do you have info that says he's still reporting to work at hq?
4OR....
the price moves when pros are on board and they decide to move it... we don't need to read anything else into it.
we may be a wonderful target. if we are, partnership will come. if we have the goods, the longer it takes, the better..it gives the pros more time to run it up.
why are so many so sure a partnership is about to be announced?
glad to see people want shares at 1.90..... sure beats 1.26.
darn it! i only like manipulation when it's manipulated up!
another small move in frankfurt...1.543 euro, up from 1.541... =$2.10
North...
i know you didn't just fall off the turnip truck, and you spend a good deal of time and effort hanging around the Biotech Values board discussing a variety of stocks.
what do you make of their anti PPHM bias over there? and i'm not talking about DD...there are plenty of smart guys over there with their fingers in their ears, aren't there?
the place is kind of a proxy for what PPHM has been trying to overcome on wall street... what's up with that?
maybe that chapter is on the verge of ending. i can't wait to have the dust settle so we can find out whether this run is the result of new information (inside wall street variety) or if it's just algorithm momentum volume...
in all seriousness, i really appreciate streetsmart, savvy young people who have their *hit together. they remind me of my daughters :)
yeah, as a journalist, i meant.
:)
i'd waay prefer kelly evans, thank you very much.
it's ok, wook...we had our 15 seconds of fame on CNBC last week, and i think we can historically refer to that as "kickoff", "launch", "ignition", or whatever else you'd like to plug in...
sure looks like the price is still being...managed. it wants to go up, but somebody isn't letting it spike.
if they get it up to $8 before a buyout, i'll be fine with 465%
1.89. so who knows what, when did they know it, and how did they find out?
sulaco...
yep, i was frustrated at the BOD. no doubt about it. that's what happens when you get hit in the head with a 4x4...more than once.
i am THRILLED that the pps is moving. it feels so much like pre-2012-spike that i can't stand it... i wish the market would re-open for tomorrow at 8:01 tonite...
we went up like this with no news not too long before we spiked in 2012.
we're re-PEAT-in'
yk26... get ready
you're going to be accused of being md under another login
i have no problem believing md may have written the articles. while they had some good, valid points, they also had some assumptions that were sort of presented as facts...so there was a degree of ... amateurishness.
they may not have done anything at all for the stock price when they were written, but they may have added retail buyers since the pps started moving since they were certainly read by many...
as far as DD goes...he's stated many times that when stocks he's skeptical about show solid data, he's all ears. i think the folks here should stop worrying about him.
don't worry about it, javy
now the bid is up
closed at 1.78 in frankfurt...less than 8000 shares.... looking forward to finding out if it meant anything
http://www.reuters.com/finance/stocks/chart?symbol=PPHM.F
would you please direct us to the message boards where you happily discuss all of your big winners? surely you have several, but we can't discuss them here...this is only for pphm, of course.
so what pullback number to you recommend buying in to pphm? or for those of you who are short, what is your recommended price to cover?
what?? 2 and 3 cent spread on bid/ask???
wannabe and wook
have always loved you both
wannabe...for your objective comments, which are very appreciated by many here over a long period...
and wook...your optimism...well..it's refreshing...even if it's over the top :)
the scientific skeptic and the rose-colored glasses have rendezvoused!
how awesome is it to not be giving it all back!!!!!!
stone..
fortunately, i don't look as stupid to friends and relatives as i did a few weeks ago...
i'll bet the fiance didn't mind the expensive dinner last saturday nite, did she?
it was a unique opportunity :)
frankfurt's price has to catch up to our friday close....
wouldn't be the first time
coffee-man
welcome, andm now that you're here, keep your musings comin'
mid-May 2012, PPHM was $.46.
that's $ . 4 6
September..$5.39.
far, no..FAR better than what ICPT has done. Our results weren't...accepted.
Yet.
keep your fingers crossed, everybody.
krak...
i just don't want expectations to get too far ahead of reality... obviously several here think PPHM is a slam dunk, and the justification for that is still on the weak side, clinically speaking, by most objective measures. it seems like 8th grade to me when people start shouting about $100 billion dollar market cap being right around the corner. there's 'positive', and there's 'silly'.
i'm long, and i'm a devoted pphm follower and supporter. we may be close to the 2012 high before long, but that's a looong way from $100 billion.
folks...
please remember that we have exactly 1 trial that had breathtaking results, and those results, rightly or wrongly, have been discounted. the breast cancer trial was very small, and has not been repeated to prove validity so far. numerous other trials came in with 'eh' results.
i keep thinking about chickens getting counted before they've hatched... this remains an extremely risky place to be.
$62.50 would be a dream come true, but so would $6.25.
$100 billion market cap is C R A Z Y talk. get a grip.
nice call on the reversal yesterday, btw...
stockweiser..
we need institutional ownership before we can make a big move, IMO. i'd be more than a little bit surprised if we get a partnership announcement before institutional ownership goes up, because a potential partner's banker will likely know about the deal in time to come in..fairly legally. and that banker will tell another banker, cuz they need to cover their future opportunities with favors.
if market pros here know that's not probable, please chirp in. 13 years still isn't enough for me to figure this out, but i'm getting closer...
cheynew! did you intend to post that on a different board???
Couch..
you are a tailor-made PPHM watcher.
This board is the Hotel California.
For the stuff you're in to, this place is an absolute hoot!
