My email to the BCC today:
Good morning :)
I have a general question, please. I realize that all applications differ, but once a distributor license goes to "final review", is their a approximate amount of time until that application is approved/denied?
I appreciate any help you can offer-thank you.

to me
Greetings Todd,
Thank you for contacting the Bureau of Cannabis Control (Bureau). Unfortunately, we cannot provide a generalized time frame as to how long the “final review” process may take as each application is different and depends on a variety of factors.
Best,

So true, and the 1000% gain in my account is imaginary.
bmel I will work on answering your question a bit later today. From my perspective, and given the number of applicants I see, the BCC is not issuing that many licenses. If they issue 5 licenses in a day, my guess is that there are THOUSANDS of others in the queue. I'll call them and see if my suspicions here are correct.
Hey 100lb-I think there are some big diff.s between LVVV and $POTN. Seems everyone is entering the CBD game. You can buy it in bulk and repackage it with your own brand. Easy peasy. The clone business and branded edibles are both robust areas for LVVV. If LVVV executes effectively, they could boom up to half a buck nearer term, esp. when licenses hit. Hopefully we get a PR or two detailing revenues that are being generated with their current alliances. LVVV has more shares outstanding than $POTN of course, but let's look at what-ifs:
If $POTN hit, what, 96 cents at its peak, then that valued them near $250 mill at that time. A similar rise in LVVV would place the share price around 50 cents, given outstanding shares of 500 mil or so. A buck is doable. 1 bil mkt.cap at this stage is not unheard of if all cylinders are churning. Progress with permits/licenses, combined with revenue announcements and political easing could really set things on fire.
All IMHO.
Putting my feelers out to see if there is any progress in Paso Robles. I'll check back if I hear anything material.
You got anything on that, JD?
bmel I can only guess that it has to do with the nature of the permit. They applied about 2 weeks after LVVV/GHC, but they are a dispensary that delivers it's wares, versus LVVV/GHC which is a nursery. My research tells me that there are more hoops to jump through in nursery set up due to environmental and zoning compliance issues. A non-public dispensary is probably the easiest permit to get, as it has minimal impact on land use and this location is zoned commercial.
Here's another cannabusiness going before the County of San Luis Obispo planning commission on October 11th. Every one of these is proof that things are moving forward in good 'ol Paso Robles. By the way, this company applied for their permit AFTER LVVV/GHC Ventures.
A request by GMFL, Inc. and Sungrown Wellness, Inc., for a Conditional Use Permit (DRC2018-00072) to establish two commercial cannabis businesses: (1) a distribution facility and (2) a non-storefront dispensary for mobile delivery. The businesses would operate in individual suites of an existing 1,236 square-foot building on a 0.28 acre parcel. No changes to the building footprint or architecture are proposed. Two secure, climate-controlled shipping containers of approximately 160 square feet each are also proposed for additional storage. Hours of operation for both businesses would be 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., seven days a week. The project is located within the Commercial Service (CS) land use category at 22601 El Camino Real, southwest of the intersection with Yerba Buena Avenue in the community of Santa Margarita. The site is within the Salinas River sub area of the North County Planning Area. The project meets the criteria for Class a 1 Categorical Exemption as set forth in the Gui
Almost makes you think something leaked out. I know some of the buyers, but stocks don not generally post 2-day gains like this unless the cat is out of the bag. Considering how much information has been held by management-who's to say that something material has not already developed?
I suppose time will tell.
The % gain should put LVVV on many a radar. We may see more run prior to news just based on that. We all know that momentum is not always rational, but it can make for some fine green days. Hats off to the longs who have vision.
Hope all is well.
Looks like a full bore "McKinley" today-congrats longs!
I think my brother is buying more, once he found out how much I have.
50 and 200 day at .039-today is a pivot day either way you skin it.
When he's on board, I know something is going to happen. Last one he did was $POTN before it went ballistic.
Yep, we got the brothers on it now-look out above.
Just found out my brother is the whale! Sneaky 'ol coot.
I said before that shares are tight. Your average LVVV shareholder is waiting for what appears to be imminent-big rise. Econ 101-the tilt will cause sudden and large moves.
Daily chart-pattern is very similar to before the launch to 8 cents occurred.
When LVVV goes parabolic, I think that we, in honor of our dear board member and wise prognosticator, should name the technical chart pattern the "McKinley".
Going forward, Wall Street as whole will reverberate their amazement at any stock's meteoric rise by saying: "Man, that stock did a %$#^&@ McKinley"!
$IGC and $POTN are ahead, LVVV is now #3 ahead of $NXTTF.
We'll be posting $FRLF gains soon!
Aye, Cap'n!
I wanted to emphasize that LVVV has not only Omar, but a compliance concern working on the licenses. I think this speaks to their commitment to navigate the red tape expeditiously.
I've heard here many times how LVVV is behind the ball, late to the game, that others are miles ahead of them, and that the final bets are in and we are not in the running. In reality, and after countless posts suggesting the contrary, LVVV is VERY well-positioned in this race. And it is a race. Anyone checking the permits/licenses can see that they are being issued at a snails pace. Sometimes there is only one in a given day. They ain't handing these things out like popcorn at the movie theater.
LVVV is too busy playing the game to also be the play-by-play announcer. Look around-of the 200+ cannabis stocks I began tracking in February of 2017, LVVV is #4 in gains, and 1 of only 4 to be up 1000+%. Yes, past performance is no indication.............blah blah blah, but we are talking about a start-up company in a EMERGING market. The 1-2 punch.
My dad always said that if you want to get hit by a train, you gotta be on the tracks. Bill knows what he has here. He can create a lot of wealth for a lot of people. We should be grateful for his efforts.
bmel if a distribution license being issued next door isn't a good sign, I don't know what is!
bmel it is for Coachella Distribution, NOT Coachella Brands. Coachella Distr. is a DBA of Cultivation Technologies, next door to the Coachella Brands property on Avenue 48. They are a bit further along than the CB property, to my knowledge.
Cultivation Technology (Coachella Distribution), next door to LVVV on Avenue 48, just got their distribution license:
A11-18-0000255-TEMP Adult-Use Coachella Distribution Co Active 1/28/2019 Corporation COACHELLA 7144027455
Also, the dispensary Lighthouse not far away:
A10-18-0000324-TEMP Adult-Use
Medicinal
The Coachella Lighthouse, LLC Active 1/29/2019 Limited Liability
Company
COACHELLA 9016493568
Let's hope it's contagious.
Those girls need a burger and fries.
Yeah, buddy!
Bmel good morning-Ammerdine is a tenant of Coachella Brands (same property)-nothing to do with Livewire to my knowledge. Livewire is in 4A-4D.
Doc I think that the easing of the Fed will create a tide that lifts all boats. After all, the Fed is what is REALLY holding back the domestic cannabis sector. The DEA wants to save face, and do it gradually, but doing it they are. Too much money on the table. Money always wins.
Add to that any and all juicy news from LVVV and you have a speculative one-two punch. Stay tuned.
Let the weak hands get out-when real demand starts, there won't be many shares to be found. Have a good weekend everyone.
May see fireworks b4 close-the whale doesn't want to miss a Monday boomer.
Do you have to subscribe to post an image? Or am I still inept at this? Is there a walk through FAQ?
Holy mackeral-whale!
I believe that Bill's hard work will be rewarded. Looking ahead I see only good things. Look at $IGC-doesn't take much to pop this rocket. Sit back and enjoy the ride-it has been a fine one thus far, all told.
A green close-this warrants a fattie of my Bodego Bubblegum poolside!
