Representatives Dana Rohrabacher (CA-48), Earl Blumenauer (OR-03), Don Young (AK-At Large), and Jared Polis (CO-02) on Thursday, February 16 at the U.S. Capitol launched the Congressional Cannabis Caucus – the first of its kind.

I have a feeling MMJ is going to have a great day tomorrow!
Yes, it's good on so many levels. Let me try to think of some off the top of my head:
1. Locking up more of the Float. Shares used to create the ETF will be held in trust.
2. Trading Volume will increase. It's a perfect ETF to arbitrage because it doesn't have that many components. Hedge Funds that arbitrage (which is all of them) can easily setup a trading program that Buys the ETF while Selling the underlying stocks, and vice versa. Bread and butter of arbitrage outfits.
3. More exposure for the stock. People researching say, GWPH, will see GWPH is in this EFT and a quick look at the components will show our beloved OWCP. Smart investors tend to buy the best stocks in a sector to diversify.
4. Decrease volatility. So when an ETF and the underlying stocks are traded in arbitrage it tends to narrow the spread and decrease volatility. MMs who play games against Hedge Fund arbitrage program trading apps will lose A LOT OF MONEY. No Trader is faster than a trading app. MMs who screw around with bid/ask will be hammered. Play stupid games and win stupid prizes.
5. Lots of new investors. So many people can't buy OTC stocks because their brokerage firm simply doesn't allow it. People are going to gobble up shares of the ETF, which means they will have to create more and more shares.
This is surprisingly great news and all out of the blue!
OK, I've had some wine, so I'm going to blame it on that, but I swear to God when I first saw the ticker for $OWCP I had the weirdest sensation. Sort of like Deja Vu, but not.
Don't know what it is, but I've been smitten with this stock. Broke lots of my own trading rules too. But something about this company tells my Spider Sense that it's a one in a million company.
So funny because I've been selling off my TSLA to buy more OWCP. Can't help myself!!!
Yup, and trading outfits that do arbitrage can easily set up trading programs that do arbitrage on the ETF and the underlying stocks. Very easy to do when the ETF contains a small number of companies.
That will increase volume.
Nevermind, my bad, I see it in the Index but not the article:
CANNABICS PHARMACEUTICALS IN 0.398282
CANNABIS SATIVA INC 0.084749
CANNABIS SCIENCE INC 12.762666
CANNABIX TECHNOLOGIES INC 0.410054
"Cannabix Technologies". Isn't that the breathalyzer company?
Did you know there's a MMJ Index called the Emerging AgroSphere Index which tracks MMJ companies? On Bloomberg it's WEEDGR Index.
Furthermore, did you know that $CARA is part of this Index?

Well, someone just filed a Form N-1A with the SEC to create an Index-Tracking ETF:

I recall a side-by-side comparison study of extracted cannabinoids versus synthetics, and the extracted cannabinoids were more potent and efficacious than the synthetics.
In this case, I'd imagine it's also cheaper to use InMed's system then manufacture the compounds piece-by-piece.
I'll try to find the study...

So the next time someone comes around here with some BS about OWCP not being a real company, ask them why on Earth a new MMJ ETF will soon be launched that includes OWCP.

It's a vote for something. We'll know when we get our proxies in the mail:
Issuer sending proxy related materials directly to NOBO: Yes
Can you please post the link? I don't see this info anywhere but on ihub...
Someone else posted this line of attack the other day, so seems he's found a crap website to post the same crap. Account is 2 days old. LOL. Don't feed the troll with clicks. I've posted the gist of it here:
Many factors point towards a red flag:
1) This company is based overseas, and conducts research overseas, meaning there are very few ways to monitor their progress when it comes to their claims.
2) This is still a pennystock, while some might be tempted to take risks, the slightest mistake by the company will cause investors to lose all their money, rapidly.
3) If the pharmaceutical research fails, the owners could dump their shares knowing they cannot profit further from this venture, causing investors to lose their money.
4) The only product they got going for them is a skin cream, and this has very little impact of the market as it is.
I was doing other things so I missed the trades this morning. Anyone have full tape on this? Did it really print at $5.69? TIA!
Thank you very much! 88 for you! : )
I'd love another 8-K, but you know what I love more than just wishing for an 8-K?
KNOWING that 8-Ks will drop is better than wishing they will drop.
We KNOW that $OWCP signed at least 3 consulting contacts with US States. We are officially no longer a "Pre Revenue" company! Just waiting for the terms of those consulting contracts to be dropped.
We KNOW that other companies have approached OWCP about licensing the sublingual tablet and topical cream technology. Licensing agreements will be signed. It's not a matter of IF, it's a matter of WHEN.
We KNOW OWCP finalized work on the sublingual tablet and topical cream, which means they put in for their final patent applications. Has to be done, otherwise they wouldn't even be considering licensing it. Therefore, patent approval info will be dropped. Again, not a matter of IF, it's a matter of WHEN.
Lastly, we KNOW the IRB efficacy and safety studies are wrapping up. We KNOW the studies were going well. Seriously, is the safety study even a concern for anyone? I think we all know cannabis is a safe substances. Efficacy? Well, it's not a matter of IS it efficacious, it's a matter of HOW efficacious is it? How quickly does it work? How many skin conditions does it work on? Not IFs, HOWs.
No idea but something is going on lol
Yup, when I worked in private equity the analysts were flying somewhere every week to check out companies in person.
I had a similar dream actually. Cannabis was removed from schedule 1 and then big pharma swooped in and starting buying up all the MMJ companies.
That's what Fidelity shows, I just looked at the EDGAR filings directly however and so here is more updated info:
As of 1/10/2017 Fisher Asset Management owns 497,604 shares.
As of 2/3/2017 Ameriprise Financial owns 40,000 shares.
As of 2/10/2017 Geneva Advisors owns 21,000 shares.
As of 2/14/2017 Moloney Securities Asset owns 10,000 shares. Maloney is the newest institutional investor.
Four institutional investors in a stock that is trading at .11 is pretty remarkable IMHO.
As of 12/31/2016:
Fisher Asset Management owns 497,000 shares
Ameriprise Financial owns 40,000 shares
Geneva Advisors owns 21,000 shares
180K Bought and 134K Sold so far. They will shake the tree a lot harder when they want more shares.
This thing moves on Air. Can't wait for $OWCP to drop any of the following hammers:
Info on final patent protection for cream and sublingual tablet.
Terms of the consulting contracts they've signed with 3+ US States.
Final IRB efficacy and safety study results.
Start of FDA Phase 1 for cream.
I've gotten a few emails about this, so this is how I understand the IRB vs FDA trials. Feel free to correct me.
Once final IRB efficacy and safety study results are released, OWCP can begin to sell creams in EU and MMJ US States. They could also begin to sell in South America and Asia very quickly.
In order for US Health Insurance companies to pay for a psoriasis cream, it would need to first have FDA approval. Also, FDA approval would also mean the cream could be available outside of MMJ US States.
That is my understanding.
205K shares Bought and 42K Sold and price is unchanged. Riiiiight MMs. Right.
After watching this video I firmly believe IMLFF will be announcing some breakthrough partnerships this year. Of all my MMJ stock holdings, I can see $IMLFF being bought out in 2017 by GILD or any other deep-pocketed biotech that is sitting on billions of dollars in cash and has a dwindling pipeline of new drugs. Wow, I think I just talked myself into buying more shares today.

Website is annoying but TheStreet posted about $CARA today:
https://www.thestreet.com/story/14002888/3/8-stocks-making-moves-with-unusual-volume.html
OMG this sort of BS again. Seriously. I'm ignoring the person who posted this, so I had to backup to figure out what the point was. I see. The keynote is in the afternoon and everyone will be so tired they will have to leave to take a nappy before Jeff gets to speak. Did I get that right?
LOL Do you know who David Samson, David Ortiz and Jamie Gold are?!? OF course people will be there to see Jeff speak. In fact, some people are probably paying for the conference just to get a chance to meet with and maybe get an autograph from all three.
These low key pot shots are so pathetic.
Great article!!!
How OWCP's psoriasis cream will explode onto the marketplace via social media.
OWCP has 10 widely followed dermatology, psoriasis and eczema interested followers on Twitter:
Twitter account (Number of followers)
https://twitter.com/PoschChristian (15,000)
https://twitter.com/PsoriasisCauses (3,420)

https://twitter.com/LWPsoriasis (777)
https://twitter.com/Psoriasis1k (512)

Whom together have a staggering 28,906 followers in total. 8,291 who are specifically interested in curing psoriasis for themselves or for loved ones. These are just people waiting for OWCP to announce their skin creams! Imagine what the numbers will be in March when efficacy test results drop. Imagine what the numbers will be in Q2 once the creams are actually for sale!
And while your at it, bookmark https://www.instagram.com/owcpharma/, because in coming months this Instgram account will host dozens and dozens of before/after photos of people with various skin ailments.
This social media campaign has been created by our outstanding $OWCP management team for ZERO cost to you, the shareholder.
You can see it over and over and over again if you care to take a close look. OWCP's world class management team has been quietly playing Chess with MMJ while the rest of the world plays Checkers with Canadian LPs.
Every action OWCP makes is a strategic chess move- a contract signed with Emilia Cosmetics in Nov 2016, a Twitter account opened Oct 2016, bringing in Ms. Miriam Sani in January, and bringing in Dr. Sharon Rozenblatt in Feb - these are all strategic chess moves that will have the MMJ marketplace in Checkmate before most people have even heard of OWCP.
If you are Long OWCP count your blessings. I've been in stocks for decades and what OWCP is doing is absolutely brilliant and beautiful. I have so many stocks in my portfolio but I just keep coming back to OWCP and shaking my head in amazement. This stock has so much upside in 2017, 2018 and beyond.
Phase 1+2+3 FDA clinical trials cost an average of US $1.3 Billion dollars according to Forbes:
http://www.forbes.com/sites/theapothecary/2014/01/24/shocking-secrets-of-fda-clinical-trials-revealed/#3aa9df232279
OWCP has been doing IRB trials in Israel because the cost is much lower and the R&D environment is very cannabis friendly. That's why $OWCP Longs know we have a huge advantage over all other pre-revenue MMJ biotechs.
You can see, however, that US FDA clinical trials are the world wide Gold standard, and that's why OWCP has just filed for Phase 1 for the psoriasis cream.
Small position, but huge news. It's very, very rare to see institutional ownership when share price is sub-dollars.
Did some digging and I'm really liking the synergy at the upcoming Wall St Conference.
So I did some DD of the other sponsors at the March 1st Wall St. Conference and I see some positive aspects.
Foresight Autonomous (Trades on Tel Aviv: FRST.TA) is the big dog. Looks like they do 3-D cameras for regular and self-driving cars. Stock closed at $223.80 today.
Sonoma Pharma (Nasdaq: SNOA) manufactures several dermatological products in the US and EU. Stock closed at $7.08 today.
Nano Dimension (Nasdaq: NNDM) Israeli 3-D printer company. Stock closed at $6.60 today.
Sito Mobile (OTC: SITO) NJ-based wireless provider. Stock closed at $2.25 today.
MassRoots (OTC: MSRT) Cannabis app provider. Stock closed at $0.99 today. (Other under $1 OTC sponsors include: INQD, EWLL, TECR, and IDM.V.)
I really like that there could be synergy with the other two Israeli companies, FRST.TA and NNDM. Anyone who is pro Israel will be interested to learn about our MMJ biotech gem. As a bonus, there will be synergy with the supporters and investors of SNOA, as SNOA is an established player in the multi-Billion dollar dermatological market place and OWCP will be a rising star.
25K is not that much money
Awesome, then I'll buy another 500K
Yeah, I don't look good in Orange so I'd take a pass on any inside info!
A big part of Jeff's job is PR so I have no problem with people keeping up lines of communication.
We all have a lot of money riding here and it's just nice that we can even get timely replies. I for one am very grateful with their openness and transparency.
What you hate to see with any stock with big news coming is total radio silence. I'm in another stock where the CEO is a lawyer and he seems to be overly concerned with being sued by shareholders. While that is of course a legitimate concern, it should not be a primary concern IMHO.
