Last I looked, the volumes on both bid and ask were better balanced. That is positive.
So, profitable and no debt. A few cents dividend as a start would do wonders to attract investors. Will they, won't they?
Rb, Some prefer to average up and others to average down. I will do either, but I do try to avoid averaging down before I get a sense that a bottom is in.
Someone has been buying. To accumulate a large position in a short period of time & close to expected record earnings, the risk is that buying pressure could push the share price to take off one direction or the other. That may be why the spread is weighted to the sell side, which caps the + momo. And, of course, the way it is playing out, we don't know how large a position the buyer wants. The fact that a large position(s) is being sought, though, is a very good thing.
Of course, someone may just be trading for pennies.
Looking at bids and ask. Still huge # at the ask in the .50s, but imho the bid side is thin. We could see .40s if the market takes a dive. This puppy offers a lot of promise, but be careful about adding to the position if capitulation is about to happen.
The volume on the sell side is simply too large. I keep wondering if there is a trader out there who wants to hold the pps down.
The sell orders have been huge for a while and could take a few days to work through. My memory is that this is typical before earnings.
I dunno. Reporting what I found. Umm. Does NITE really have 100K shares?
Yahoo is estimating earnings will be released in the second half of March.
Any sign of market testing?
Earnings date -- still waiting. If they are as good as anticipated, we will pop.
They need to announce the date. 2 weeks out, right?
Next week -- we should get the date for earnings.
Good. Lots of support here.
Rb. The CEO already said quarterly earnings would be huge. The actual #S -- mid Feb? We should see some pre earnings upside. After earnings, more... CAPC sure looks good...
Someone is dumping/blocking the momo. Maybe trying to force the pps to a lower level to get some more cheap?
Re debt. The new tax rules may be an offset to the elimination of debt/bottom line.
Next earnings are, when, in February?
Whoever sold may not have seen news. That news was promising, for sure.
When is the 1:1000 r/s effective? I looked at the news on the Yahoo site, and the only date was 11/15 app for a new CUSIP#. Has the buyout been finalized? I did not see anything on the Amelot Holdings site about this.
With all the discipline, plans, and actual positive growth in the last year or so, one should expect the share price to keep pace. While management and products are doing so well, shareholders cling to hope. It is logical, just frustrating because shareholders want to see incremental price improvement. Management needs to stay the course. I expect we will, as well.
22 shares traded today? At the least, it suggests investors are not eager to sell at this level.
Christmas surprise?
Just a few shares on the ask and we go to .60s.
Based on performance to date and anticipated, where should CAPC be trading? Yahoo says as of June book was .15.
What multiple makes sense given profitability, growth rate?
I like this quarter's conference call, esp the idea (at this stage) of a Nasdaq listing. Apply 2018 for 2019?
Thanks for link to Nasdaq listing requirements.
Well, if your guess is correct, then maybe we have a potential market with Bill Gates' smart city.
Remind me pls as to requirements for Nas listing. Gross, pps? This implies upside pps 2017/2018. $100 million? More than one new product line? Expanding sales existing products? I wan5 to see +1.00 pps sooner. Even so, would that be below book?
Does GE's product reorganization impact CAPC? As I recall over the years, some thought GE might buy CAPC, and that now seems moot. So, does CAPC have an opportunity to pick up market share?
Absolutely no more r/s. If we reach or exceed $50 million this year, the share price will move up. It should now, but for sure at such a benchmark.
If they cancel shares with another buyback, that would be positive. A nickel per share dividend, even a one time dividend, would be a major positive jolt, imho. Assuming all good things vv revenues...
Someone is continuing to accumulate lots of shares. Impressive discipline.
When do we get q3 earnings? Approximately?
If I recall correctly, each time there was a run up in pps, it was taken down on volume to a stupendously low pps for a week or two prior. I call it weep levels. Might be what's going on now.
This relates to externalities, perceived political risk. Not the company, which is doing fine. Someone is getting cheap shares.
Load up fellas. We go up from here. Chart wise, we filled a big gap in the ,40s and confirmed. Now, we can move up with a solid foundation. There are a couple of gaps to the upside, but we move up some to get there. Weeeeee.
Yes. However, we also have two statements. The latest is that they will prioritize sales growth this quarter. Previously, they emphasized growth potentially by acquisition and additional deals like Hoover and Duracel. In the context of making an investor presentation, we have reason to speculate what's coming. There was no indication where overseas management might have been at the conference call.
Agree. Might help define/refine our guesses if we knew where they were.
Well, a few months back, stewart said they were looking for ways to enhance shareholder value, including acquisitions, new product lines, jv, etc. Hence, the Hoover and Duracell things. Acquisitions got dropped or not mentioned. if they were to buy an existing manufacturer, they would need capital. But then, they said the company has access to to capital. So, why bother with these investor shows?
Thanks, Bill. A r/s makes no sense if the insiders are interested in attracting investors and/or preserving their own capital. If I recall correctly, Stewart said earnings would continue to improve this qtr. He said that they will prioritize growing sales this year.
IMHO, we should not be surprised if they raise capital to expand CAPC'S footprint. With that in mind, how much debt would be reasonable?
We should get a better fix on this by the meet n present, and with quarterly results. If they are raising capital, there is expansion in the near term.
