I hope I'm wrong as well. At least we had a nice break out today...lol
Even if I'm right and they don't give us much of anything there still could be some worthwhile "nuggets" in sedar (as a few have alluded to earlier). I bet this bugs them, but they can't hide everything.
GLTA
I'm not...I hope I'm wrong, but I think there going to milk this silence thing for as long as possible. In other words, I will not be surprised if the crown I'm getting put in on Thursday is more exciting then there report.
Again, I'll take were still on track, but give us something else! It's November 2015!!!!!
I don't agree with Bristol on people will start selling soon if they don't (investors have come too far and were too close to milsestones). However, you are right that they eventually have to give us something new/more...right?
GLTA
Does anyone ever entertain the thought of "if it sounds to good to be true it usually is."
As we get closer to 2015 and the anticipation gets bigger and bigger, I occasionally rack my brains with a worst case. At this point a company, or FDA delay is all I can come up with. Maybe a legal case, or Fowler leaving (not likely at all), but not much else. I suppose anything can happen, but were looking VERY good right now. I love all the Vegas talk, but just when we think were golden, BAM they've shelved SPORT and there going back to Amadeus...just kidding
Anyway, just a brief contrarian view. I'll feel better once we get past Thursday still on track.
By the way, I'm about a 13 if anyone wants to start a second foursome.
GLTA
He's still touting YPPN. Needless to say it hasn't been going very well, at least for now.
I think we all were expecting his second SA article a while back, but nothing. I think if we was out, he would have explained why. I think Titan hired Bertner to reign in Point. It all makes sense now. Point went silent shortly after she was brought in.
That's my conspiracy...lol
HC's theory is not that far fetched or a conspiracy. Back room deals happen every day, particularly with start ups, specs, etc. I just find it hard to believe that there were that many "small" investors willing to purchase 50,000-100,000 share blocks. Your talking 100's of small investors at these amounts. Both deals sold out way too fast. The time and amount of the second one is very suspicious.
The other reason I think it is a possibility is I find Titans silence remarkable. They are either VERY confidant in what they have, or they know they have a deal in place that's going to pay them very well. In either case we as shareholders should view this extremely positive. In there view they have no reason to be out there hyping the stock.
This is all IMHO. Although I disagree, I enjoy and appreciate your posts Belize.
At this point Titan has us all by the cojones. I can just speak for myself, but as frustrated as the pps (and strategy) makes me there is no way in hell I will be selling. We are way too close to the end game. I don't think any of us who have dedicated there cash, time, dd, etc will sell just months before the verdict. I'm 4 years in and I want to see how this movie ends. In other words, I will not be selling out of boredom.
Each day that passes and they don't have to divulge anything, they obviously feel it benefits Titan. I believe Duke mentioned that Hargrove said they could release something very exciting, but are choosing not too. With the pps "still" in the $2's they feel it is still high enough to 1. prevent a stockholder mutiny, and 2. continue to keep there secrets close to the hip.
If the stock were to drop to the $1.90, 80's 70's there hand would be forced and they would have to address it with an update/announcement (something to stop the bleeding). Right now $2 is still a "decent" pps historically speaking. Just look at there corp pres. and it gives the past 3 years of stock appreciation percentages. Not bad if you take it on face value.
Yes (thanks Honey), if Fowler confirms once again that they are on track (on Nov 6) and the stock does nothing, I'm selling everything and throwing it on Titan. However, I'm not counting anything out. I give it a slim (but possible chance) that they could mention a delay. They also may not even mentioned the milestone/timeline. They may avoid it all together. Fowler may not want to go on the record this time and give himself a little wiggle room to see how the next month or two goes.
Should be very interesting...
All IMHO
I find it odd that the pps has remained stagnant recently. You would think that with TITXF attending these shows, all the buzz around SPORT, and word of mouth that the pps would be trending north.
Maybe most of these people are already in, or people are just waiting for the next update. It just appears that they are meeting new potential investors every week and the volume continues to be pathetic as well as any movement.
Oh well, you can only hold her down for so long...
Agreed...at worst any short delay will present a buying opportunity, as I anticipate many will panic. I give it a 50/50 chance we get a delay from CE or the FDA (more likely from the FDA). They will do it for no other reason then to appear thorough and important. They will want to cover there arse after all the ISRG media garbage.
Any delay derived from Titan would hopefully just be time. If we see the word "indefinite" I would run for the hills.
Exactly right CUIN. As exciting as it is getting around here, I hope we all consider the fact that Nov 6th could be just another boring report. We've been jacked up several times before only to be disappointed.
First things first. Even if they have nothing of substance to report, Fowler confirming there timeline and milestones is HUGE at this time. This is basically the last time they can alter/change there milestones before commercialization. Since these updates are months in between the next one will be first quarter of 2015. That would be right before CE/completion. If they change something at that time, then something disastrous/unpredictable happened.
I sure hope we get something worthwhile this time around. I feel like were becomming a bunch of stalkers...lol
Great work all, especially Duke and HC. The board has been great lately, with little to no BS.
The $5 came from Point after attending the meeting in Toronto (if my memory serves). I believe it was a response by mgmt to his friends questions...can you confirm CUIN?
In any case, I agree completely with the second half of your post. I have been shocked for the past couple months that this thing has not trended up based purely on spec and anticipation. I'm even more shocked nowadays as we barely tread water as 2015 gets closer and closer. I guess this highlights the downside of being on a crappy market with no exposure.
It would be nice if mgmt uses Nov 6th to start the push to get the stock to $4-5 before years end. I'm not counting on it, but it was there call not ours.
Ironically enough, the biggest case against the buyout possibility is the current share price. If they (Bertner included)were out there shopping the company, or at least inquiring about market value, etc the pps would be much higher. We would see more days with big spikes and heavy volume. The smart money always knows ahead of time. The schmucks like us are last to know.
Considering it's crickets and tumbleweeds every market day, you can make the case that nothing is going on. Which goes back to, what the hell is Bertner doing??
They only had two months of cash on hand at the time. They had to do it regardless of wanting to go it alone, or getting bought out. Having the extra cash gives them the luxury of getting further along on the milestones on there own, in turn having a more valuable company to sell down the road.
I believe the company commented on the capital raising and said they didn't really plan on doing it that close, but it was too good a deal not to do it (probably why Reiza ditched a couple hundred thousand shares then too).
They have no choice but to move forward as though they are going it alone (which may be there intentions). Who really knows what there thinking, but my guess is that they will ultimately sell out. It's too hard and very rare for a small spec company to go all the way in todays environment. Every day some big boy is gobbling up a competitor. It's the nature of the beast...for good or bad.
Good post Long. I agree, why go from $6k/mo. to $20k/mo. for less production. It is strange that there has not been a peep from her.
I do believe a buyout is most likely. They don't have the funds and resources to go it alone (IMO). At worst they need a partnership, and at best a buyout.
I've said it before and I know many on here strongly disagree, but a buyout pre FDA is a legit possibility. Your beating the others to the punch and your getting them for cheaper. An FDA approval adds 100's of millions to the buyout cost. Yes, it's pocket change for the big boys, but to a medium sized player it's worth the risk if you want to get to the next level.
For the record, I would love it if they went alone...
The conspiracy side of me thinks Hargrove is there for insurance. If they stumble along the way to commercialization, or too many legal entanglements, etc. they can always hit up Hargove's J&J connections for a buyout and payday.
Aside of his tenure there, I agree, his resume is pretty average.
Despite all this, I'm not ready to sell him down the river. He's been around along time. There is alot of intrinsic value in connections, bus. relationships, and networking that Titan can certainly benefit from.
IMO
Well Reiza is not going anywhere. This is basically his baby. However, what exactly is Hargrove doing these days? Aside of vouching for his daughter.
I'm sure there is alot going on behind the scenes, but maybe delegating is another weak spot for Titan (along with a weak PR dept).
Anyone else worried Fowler is getting stretched too thin? The guy is obviously a stud, but I just hope he is not taking too much on. He seems to have his hands in everything, boards, committee's, etc...all while leading the Titan ship.
I guess at the same time, it's good networking and verbal marketing.
Under promise, over deliver. I hope this is the case for all of there milestones.
With the exception of the PR blackouts (which a good case can be made for or against), Titan appears to be doing everything right. The people they are bringing on board are the cream of the crop.
They could have easily found 8 hacks for the SAB, but we all saw the resume's. Nahon has 20 + years of specific exp, including several at ISRG. We probably have a bit of nepotism with Paige, but that's the worst I see.
It's late in the game I don't believe these guys would hitch there trailer to a loser, or a company with inferior technology.
Let's not forget that Swanstrom is a Director at the University of Strasbourg (France). Couple that with Nahon and the shows/conferences they have been attending in Europe and I have to agree with a previous post, a European release is all but imminent.
IMO
Another nice find IITF. I wish we could start getting some approval announcements for some of those that have been out there a while.
I think we all are, but nothing we can really do about it. We might (although I doubt it) get some movement on or around Novemeber 6th's company report/update.
Other than that, 2015 is the year. We should have a busy year from beginning to end.
I'd like to think we would see some accumulation starting soon in anticipation, but this stock has proven to have contrarian tendencies.
IMO
Ironically, the stock will be negatively impacted if they come out and delay or change something (even if it is a minor change). Yet, if/when they come out and affirm there milestones/timelines the stock will do nothing. It will be a no win...at least temporarily
Nevertheless, this is one day a boring, uneventful report should be celebrated.
Although it's been very quiet for some time around here, Nov 6th is VERY important. I doubt there will be any exciting new updates/announcements, but if Fowler comes out and confirms they are still on track with milestones, etc I believe we are golden. If they also update the corp pres and minimal to no changes are spotted, again we are golden.
Come November we'll be around 6 months or so from CE approval. At this point Titan knows where they stand on testing, design freeze, etc (pretty much everything). The only question mark will be the FDA (CE should be easy). However, we all know they have been very proactive with the FDA and I'm sure Fowler and Xi have an idea where the process stands.
If Fowler and the powers that be have ANY concerns whatsoever they will either be vague about certain things, or they will just come out and give changes, delays, etc. If there is any time for Titan to be conservative, or hedge a little bit Nov 6th is the time to do it.
I find it hard to believe that they will come out and say we are still on track and then in Jan/Feb say whoops we need to make a change.
IMHO, this report in a couple weeks is just as important as any milestone (except FDA). I believe it in itself is validating most of the future milestones we have been so desperately waiting for.
Thank you for summing it up nicely. I'm checking between couch cushions, under my car seat, anywhere else I can scrounge up $ for shares. If it gets below $1.90 I'm selling a Kidney.
Like you said nothing has changed. The uptick in volume is do to fear with investors raising cash in a crap market. Even if we do gap down on bigger volume its ALL technical, NOTHING to do with the company.
Like I've said before, when Reiza is out, I am out.
If I had a couple hundred thousand shares on the line like Honey I would probably be as frantic as he is. Most lie about how many shares they have on the boards, but if he was doing this with 500 shares out there then were in crazy land.
For all the tough guys out there, the 200 day could get hit tomorrow. We haven't sniffed it in months. If we trigger that then a good chance we'll see you in the 1.60's. I assume it will be ok to whine then.
On the other hand the RSI is down to 32 now. Pretty much oversold territory...somethings gotta give.
Can't wait for Vegas when Honey and Golf Pro are arm and arm drinking Moscow Mule's.
Don't get me wrong CUIN. I'm not for a second suggesting they are, all I'm saying is the downside here continues to get smaller and smaller (i'm considering any and everything). Other than a delay in milestones, a big wig leaving, or the FDA getting a wild hair up there arse we, like you said, "will come to market."
Big volume this morning. If we can continue to avoid the big gap down on this volume it bodes well for TITXF. I'll be very interested to see where this thing closes today. If we do gap down today, can I borrow about 20k from someone on here. Come on...were all friends right??? Honey, you got way too many shares. Let me help you with some of those shares...
Great comments/reaction to the Acct position. This is really good news. I think were at the point now where our goals, objectives, dreams, etc rest in the hands of the regulatory org's (FDA, CE). That's basically what it has come down to. If Titan turns out to be a fraud at this point these guys would risk severe legal action. It's an easy prosecution, Titan mgmt have been deceiving there shareholders by claiming milestone achievements, completed prototype, etc, etc...it ain't gonna happen.
My point is the case against Titan is very limited right now. We may get a delay at some point (but that is temporary and a buying oppty), but the only other factor keeping us from hitting a home run is the Reg's. It's a big factor, but again, were not Pharma, we've been proactive with them, and we have people with Reg experience.
"Looking good Billy Ray..."
The bummer is say we do get an announcement, or good news on Nov 6th, the stock bumps up to $2.30. Great, were back to where we started.
However, in the long run it doesn't really matter. I would prefer we have lift off from a base around $2.50+, rather than sub $2, but oh well. The market is tanking and cash is king.
As frustrating as it is, I find it somewhat encouraging that they don't really care. If this was some scam they would be out there everyday pumping and trying to get the pps as high as possible. I believe they know exactly what they have and in the near future the market will reflect the true value.
I always go back to the inside info that we ALL are privy to(insider transactions). When Reiza sells a substantial stake of his shares I'm out. If they had ANY idea that Titan was not going to make it he would sell a large portion of his 5 million shares (he would be the first person in history to leave millions on the table).
Secondly, if Fowler, Reiza, or Hargrove leave then I'm worried. Anyone else is expendable. These guys (especially Fowler and Hargrove) are not going to sit around a sinking ship, especially at this stage of there careers. Aside of any real news, these two scenarios give me all I need to know.
By the way, I hope we are keeping it respectful when contacting Titan...NO CAPS :)
Ironic how we continue to bleed as we get closer to big news/milestones. With any luck will be in the low 1's a month before commercialization.
Welcome to Bizarro World...
Why show the competition your hand if you don't have to. I'm sure they will announce every major milestone. They have to at this point since it's laid out in the corp pres., etc. But it's clear any other pieces of info/updates that we as investors would love to dissect they are keeping it close to the hip.
I don't know if it's for legal/patent reasons, or if they just don't want ISRG, etc to have any clue what they are working on. We know the general technology, but I suspect there is other (exciting) stuff they want secret at this point.
I will guarantee that if we start to slide to the $1.90, 80's, 70's they will come out with an update to assure everyone. They have info/data they could pass on to the public right now, they are choosing not to.
At least no one can accuse TITXF of being a pumper company.
IMHO
If we do go below $2, how long will 1832 Asset Mgmt hold on to there million plus shares. There block buys a few months ago help propel us to the level were at now.
I get the feeling that mgmt is buying time/staying silent as long as they can until there basically forced (big stock decline) to come out and say "were still on track", etc, etc. It's a luxury they have right now, but a risky move if indeed that's what there doing.
By the way, were up 3% on better than average volume on the TSX exchange.
RSI is in the 30's now. I think we've consolidated long enough.
Bidding $2.01?? Are we looking at a crap open tomorrow, or just more MM garbage?
Nice volume today. Wrong kind though.
Thanks for clarifying...
I'm glad we hired Bertner for 20k/mo. What is she doing? It's been 4 months. At least we could communicate with Beverly. Isn't her contract for 6 months??
If the crickets continue, it looks like this thing will continue to bleed...crazy considering 2015 is a little over 2 months away.
I have to agree. I thought for sure TITXF would be down (maybe even under 2) after todays market disaster. I doubt she will be able to hold if we have a couple more days like today (or an extended downturn).
Either way, a couple nice PR's would make any market volatility irrelevant.
Let's see those cards Titan...
YOU GOT IT MAN!!!
You stole my thunder Lurker...lol
Great find guys! What are the chances we get a partnership announcement between Titan and Sony? This is a perfect example of when I mentioned that we have no idea what and who these guys are working with/on.
The fact that Fowler was one of four nationally recognized Phy on the panel means he's more than likely been working with them. I have a feeling the final product/technology is going to blow us away.
A $2.11 pps is laughable.
