The arbitrage pays off when cgc buys acreage. Right now it’s ridiculous, $18.86/$31.00 USD. When the deal closes you keep the difference plus $2.55 per acreage share cash. The risk you are taking is time. Conditions are expected to be right with in 12-18 months, some claim sooner, to close the deal. Bruce is 100% confident in the deal going forward. When is the question.

$3.4 billion or $300 million are not thrown around here with any less care than stz did with cgc. Oh wait! Stz is fully in on and behind this! Lol. So we have the boards of three companies collaborating on this deal. Can you imagine the amount of dd that was done? It was pretty clear when the ceo of acreage said “when cgc and stz come knocking at your door, you answer”. This is a huge collaboration between stz/cgc/acrg. Gets me giddy thinking about the three of them effectively merging when the acreage deal is done and stz exercises it warrants to 50%. What a powerhouse.

In the field DD. We are in the right business. Staying across from a legal/med cannabis store in western Mass. Non stop people of all demographics. Most telling, all the cars are nice that are going in and out of the parking lot. Full time two cop traffic detail. $$
2% is the low end. Not as generous as DoubleEagles MM, but the work is easy :) I haven’t had Canopy borrowed lately, but I got 14% on acerage yesterday.
I lend through E*TRADE. Totally seamless. No issues. Money arrives in account around the 20th each month. Daily updates the following day. I see no downside.
