Excellent summary jjz. Thank you.
I'm trying to practice using those "cat like instincts". lol
It might be a nice bull flag play here in a week or so. Let's see how it plays out.
The eur/jpy is quickly becoming a favorite of mine over the gbp/jpy.
Limited out on this position. 220 pip gain. Will not short this pair. Will wait for a support play at bottom of channel or wait for it to break through upper channel and retest before playing a long.
I scanned the daily and 4 hour charts tonight. I don't see anything that's compelling enough for me to take. I'm sure I'll miss some moves. However, rather than being compelled to trade...I think I'll just wait for a trade to become compelling. Not that there aren't any good trades. I'm just not seeing one using my system. I'll stay in the eur/usd long for now. I've moved my stop up to break even on that one to ensure a risk free trade. Have a good one.
I'll be scanning things later for some plays. Not that the plays will be any good. lol
Currently using FXCM but I'm seriously considering http://cmsfx.com
For charting, I'm using the paid Prophet charts from INVESTools.
I'm eyeballing a couple of plays right now. They're not quite ready. When I get a moment, I'll post the setups here so you can watch if you like.
Thanks man. I'm only right about half the time. However, by using proper risk management, it tends to work out nicely for the portfolio. Looking forward to learning quite a bit from you guys as well. (I assume you're talking to me, lol).
I thought you were someone else. Sorry.
Hey Karl. Send me an email to elderwolf@msn.com I'll forward it to our resident attorney.
Who was that other guy that was invested in the other stock with us that you worked with? Was it Larry?
I guess I really ought to try and look at those kinds of things every once in awhile. lol
I wish I had more time to follow the fundamentals more closely. I generally keep up with USD, EUR, and the JPY so I'll know which way to trade those pairs ( I **NEVER** trade against the trend). My weak point is definitely fundamental analysis. Would you mind elaborating on the China Factor a little Brother Despot? Thanks.
I took a long position in the eur/usd pair at 1.2136. It's at support within a channel with slightly increasing positive momentum. The only thing that concerns me is the bearish divergence on both the stochastics and the cci. However....the MACD line is above zero which indicates an overall bullish bias. The fundamentals also slightly support a long position.
Will target 260 pips (upper resistance at top of channel) with a 70 pip stop loss. Approx. a 4 to 1 risk to reward ratio using a daily chart. I expect this to take anywhere from 3 to 10 days to reach its target. Good luck to all.
Did you get my email address?
Thanks man. I knew that part. I'm using Prophet.net charts and there is no way for me to get a url as it's totally java based. I can't even right click on the charts to get the "properties" tab that will get me the url. Any ideas?
Right now I'm using FXCM. However, I'm looking at http://cmsfx.com for a more permanent broker as FXCM is who came recommended by the company that trained me to trade this market.
How do you post pictures of charts here?
Thanks for the friendly advice. I had to go back and re-read my post to figure out what you were talking about. It was then that I noticed that I responded to Excel's post.
When I make a post that I'm going to be cutting and pasting from another post...I'll usually hit reply so I can cut and paste directly from that post. It has nothing to do with whether I'm aligning myself with them. However, I'll also say this...I really don't consider myself a part of this community. In light of that, I'm not at all concerned with my credibility here. I have credibility where it counts...and that's with my family (first)...and friends and business associates (second).
As for Greg (Excel)...I believe he's a decent fellow. I believe his heart is in the right place. Do I agree with the way he makes some of his posts? NO. However, I do agree with a lot of what he says as it relates to facts about this company. A little annoying? HECK YES. However, he's the type guy a lot of people would want to have in their fox hole during battle.
I align myself with no one. I just do my best to align myself with correct principles. Sometimes I'm right...sometimes I'm wrong. My goal in life is to be a little bit better today than I was yesterday. Have a good one.
Is this a scam? From the filing...
" As of October 31, 2005, we had an accumulated deficit of $62,114,560. "
Do you mean to tell me that after spending over 62 million dollars...this company has never had one single dollar of revenue on the books? Couple that with the FAKE pictures of the technology that they STOLE from other companies...
Oh.....but things are different now. Just you wait and see!! Right???
In my opinion...there's some pre-shareholders meeting damage control going on here. They HAVE to hold annual shareholders meetings to keep themselves going in the publicly traded gravy train for awhile longer. So they come up with some halfway believable BS to keep people hanging on. People who defend this company run the risk of being viewed as someone that's involved in the offshore financing this is detrimental to shareholders.
Excellent. I've been through $11,600 worth of training through one company that teaches people to trade. Been doing it for about 5 months now. Looking forward to gaining some insight from you guys that have been trading for awhile...and will hopefully be able to contribute from time to time as well.
I find it hard to believe that you actually believe anything you just said.
Hey guys. Stumbled on this board by doing a search. I trade the forex almost exclusively although I am starting to take some options plays when it's compelling to do so. Are you guys pretty serious about your trading or is it more of a hobby?
I guarantee you that doughjo emailed those questions to Brad.
$100. If spoke or Bill will agree to go, I'm more than willing to pitch in just for giggles. Will either of you go?
Uhhh....I thought the FDA approached this company because the chip can cure the bird flu along with all of the other miraculous things.
As a matter of fact...in my opinion...this company will declare bankruptcy...do a reverse split...and let everything go completely to hell in a handbasket because this technology is SO advanced that the department of homeland security wants it to be TOP SECRET...and the appearance MUST be maintained that this technologically superior chip is nothing more than a farce. (Of course---we all know better. Brad is BRILLIANT!! This isn't a scam company!! It's all part of the master plan that will secretly get the chip to market without the competition doing a hostile takeover).
There you go folks. Your next line of defense handed to you on a silver platter. Don't say I never gave you anything.
PS- Why didn't the Lily Beter Group ever register their shares for sale? Is it because they sold their stock using the offshore accounts...much like I suspect Ray and Brad do as well?
What a scam.
I thought about going...but decided to poke a stick in my eye instead.
That's the best and MOST TRUTHFUL post I've seen on IHUB (aside from Spokeshave's factual posts) in a LONG time.
There you go...lobbing those grenades again.
I have to admit....Brad and Ray are building a very attractive little shell company. Pay off all the debt...clean the shell...and allow a company to reverse merge into this SCAM to allow them tax writeoffs for years to come due to the millions of dollars in losses that have accumulated over the years.
BuyLow- I'll admit that there's something that I don't know. And that is...that I don't know that there's ANYTHING that I don't know.
Have a good one.
BuyLow- Most people are smart enough to understand that this forum is NOTHING BUT opinions except for factual statements put out in a filing. Factual stataments such as ZERO spent on research and development and over $50 million dollars spent on salaries and who knows what else.
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM.
Wake up man.
Dear Buy Low,
No.
Sincerely,
ElderWolf
Fog- I've been invested here for over 6 years. Invest on technicals and get out QUICKLY as this company is a TOTAL SCAM.
You mean support?
I just received a private message where someone told me I disgusted them with MY lack of integrity.
__________________________________________________________
Holy cow. The message board disgusts you with its lack of integrity? How about Brad taking a full salary WITH a bonus at a time when they only spend a few thousand on research and development? Why doesn't THAT disgust you?
Brad LIED to spokeshave, *******. He also told us the tech design was frozen 3 years ago. He also said that they were putting out a software FPGA on a laptop simply to save money...and that it was simply a matter of transferring the info from the laptop over to a hardware fpga.
I know your defense...you're going to say something like "It wasn't a lie if they thought it was true at the time". Let me remind you that NO ONE in their right mind would release an "fpga" not knowing FOR SURE that it worked. Also...Brad has very conveniently been wrong SEVERAL times Sherman. I'd be willing to bet that Brad is connected with the "financing" and is benefitting in some way. I have no proof...but when a company spends over $60 million and has NOTHING to show for it...then somewhere...somehow...there's a damn liar involved....ESPECIALLY when that person has been taking a full salary and spending NADA--ZERO-- on R&D. And I hate to say this...but you're involved with Brad...so I have my suspicions there as well as do MANY other fine and upstanding people from this forum. I try REAL hard to give all people the benefit of the doubt. However...if the shoe fits...
hitimer- someone comes into your house and takes your money. This persons name is Jim. Jim promises to never do it again. He also hires some no name person to tell us he'll never do it again. You trust Jim so you let him in again. He steals again. Jim says he's sorry again. And once again...Jim puts out a press release telling you that he's hired someone else that we don't know and tells us that the someone else tells him to tell us that he'll never do it again. You let him in again. He steals YET AGAIN. This time...you get a little ticked off...but Jim ASSURES you that he's not actually STEALINg the money...he's just BORROWING it. He goes to some outfit that he claims has lots of credibility. This outfit has some good friends that are fairly well respected. Jim pays this person for some type of services. These people don't know what a damn thief Jim has been in the past. All they know is that Jim gave them some money and told them a few things. Jim tells them to tell us that Jim is a pretty good guy. Jim tells us that he won't steal anymore.
So what do you do at this point hitimer? Jim tells us he wants in our house again. Do you let him in? Or...do you look at his past track record and tell him to stay the hell out of your house until he PROVES beyond the shadow of a doubt that he's reformed? Jim has lied to us in the past FOR SURE. He has strung us along and taken advantage of our good nature. On top of that, Jim can't find anyone to loan him any money because he's such a scam artist and a liar.
So...do you dwell on the past Rob or do you give Jim another chance when he has put out absolutely NO EVIDENCE that he's telling the truth this time.
Do you understand now why the "bashers" look at historical information? If Ray and Brad were telling the truth...don't you think they'd get some legitimate financing? Especially with the fantastic rolodex Brad has, eh?
In my opinion...Brad is a damn liar and thief as is Ray the scamster. You'd do well to look at the past my man.
Lycus- It has already exploded over the past several months...and is likely to continue that explosion into the long term future.
