Nolan: PEIS won’t be needed
USDA says ‘no plans’ for far-reaching study
BILL HANNA Executive Editor | Posted 14 hours ago
WASHINGTON — There will be no far-reaching Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement for Superior National Forest regarding potential copper/nickel/precious metals ventures.
Eighth District Democratic U.S. Rep. Rick Nolan said in a telephone interview on Friday that he has received confirmation from the U.S. Department of Agriculture that a PEIS will not be necessary as requested by some environmentalists.
“It would have been a totally unnecessary layer of government, which has limited resources,” Nolan said.

Thanks!
You are probably right!
Where do you find these charts.
I would not to settle for $4 buck a share. When the value should be at $10-$20 a share when they start producing.
This opens a buying opportunity for us all!
The video was removed.
What a cheap hit piece pioneer press pulls online with a video from January 2014 making it sound like Polymet has a real issue that could effect the permitting process. This is why I'll never have that rag at my home. Canal them up and have them retract the error!

This why I think we are going to get permit soon.

Lets see if they veto it.
Yep
I see 3-4 dollars a share, and your article reaffirmed my hunch!
It will go up from there after they really find out the true concentrates of PGM$$$$$$$$$$
Yes but nobody is selling there shares on that exchange.
(5700shares) so far today. If that many share where sold with PLM the value would increase to the 3-4 dollar range.
Here is a older video that was posted. It tells a lot of what's happening now with EPA and Polymet.
When Polymet gets there permits the projected average price of PLM stock is $2.15 a share. Back in 2008 before the EPA cut Polymet off at the knee the stock price was$4.50. Antofagasta estimates 12.1 billion in revenue for the first ten years. At a conservative 20% charge to process the PGMs per year PLM would be gross 244 million from Antofagasta plus the 215 million PGM Polymet produces . Now that Antofagasta will not be required to build its own underground processing plant at multi billions of dollars, that savings could be be added to Polymet's bottom line in the future. I estimate in the next two years between $10.00 - $18.00 a share for just both mines producing at 70% production rate for LTV.
Trickle please give me your estimate on the PLM stock value when Polymet is the only PGM processor in Minnesota, and they over double or triple the size of LTV plant. You need to also include, that Polymet can reclaim the sulfuric acid and resell it for different manufactures for instants sheet rock, and processing the old taconite tailing, and using the crushed granite tailing and repurposing for man made hard surface material countertops or tiles and many more products. There are so many possibilities.

I agree with you, I would like to know who bought all those shares in March?
This is a very small amount of share. It maybe psychology upsetting but it really means nothing, maybe they bought a boat or a car who knows. If you check out the history of the insiders this is what they have regularity done in the past you see this same pattern.
Check out this link!

What is really interesting look up the historical data in the middle of March 2014 and look at the five days of 9 million shares that were bought, then the volume dropped back to normal!
They maybe getting ready for a drop in price and then buying on the low. Maybe?
Wetlands, mining on agenda for 2015 Legislature
MINING
Rep. Tom Hackbarth, R-Cedar, chairman of the new Mining and Outdoor Recreation Policy Committee, said he expects his panel to look for ways to encourage copper-nickel mining in northeastern Minnesota, a sensitive issue he believes Democrats have largely ignored in recent years. He said he wants to “bring forth some legislation that’s going to get the ball rolling up there,” and see what obstacles could be removed. “This is an opportunity for Minnesota to grow jobs and grow our economy,” he said. “If we can do it in an environmentally friendly way there’s no reason we shouldn’t be doing it.” But environmentalists can be expected to resist any specific proposals for weakening clean water protections to benefit the mining industry.

The Polymet (POM.TO)board from Toronto CA. Has nothing to do with Polymet Mining! Just PEPCO. (POM)
For some reason the iHUB board for Canada exchange uses ticker symbol POM for Polymet and PEPCO the poster on that board are responding to the wrong stock! Weird!

That's a win win for everybody.
A must watch video on Polymet.
Amen to that;))
When Polymet get permission to start building the LTV plant and the processing units. The plans now says they need 500 millions in loans to rebuild the plant and refurbish 35 processing units, but if Polymet can also process the old iron pellets tailings at the same time from the 150 years of past mining. They should be able to produce enough cash from the reclaimed Iron ore to finish off the rest of the processing units to work at 100% production from day one.
Interesting reading for the future of mining on NewsMax.
