Tongue and cheek, who would make a takeover attempt for a worthless stock, even JB has given up and moved on from the 100 billion dollar fantasy aka Hay Mt, like I said he would and others also, all of the stock that could be sold from that marketing plan has been sold, now its time for something new, and lastly the RS, because he'll say the new investors demanded it, its from a tried and true playbook right out of Vancouver
Btw we have been heavily accumulating those cheap shares, the ownership statements will be released soon, multiple buying entities in multiple countries, nothing can stop us now, that's why I can come clean now, the tender offer will be forthcoming, watch and see
I can't speak for other boiler rooms, but for us it's the hostile takeover aspect, after reviewing everything we are convinced JB has the goods, we believe 100 billion is VERY conservative
Very impressive investment, he only lost 95% of his money invested in LBSR since 2011, what a guru, we should all follow his investment acumen and load the boat in LBSR today
You need to be careful here, according to a poster on the other board, if posters here do not start posting more positive things about LBSR the SEC will track you down and sue you.
Quote from the other board:
Some message postings - not so much here - come from those who are out to damage a company to the benefit of another. Where this happens, and where such posters can be found, they are guilty of the tort of interference. US courts don't look kindly upon such persons/companies, although these persons often and unreasonably feel safe posting on "anonymous" message boards.
So stop posting the TRUTH! you can be sued
All funded with near worthless LBSR stock, which if you cash it all in at new share level at today's prices nets under 10 million dollars, so lets see, LBSR buys into an income producing mine and keeps the lights on and pays all of the claims for under 10 million? All within the next year? Sorry it just doesn't add up, unless you take a leap of faith and Briscoes word, as usual I will pass on this one
Here we go again, it will never happen, PR designed to assure passage of share increase, once passage is secured idea or proposal will simply whither on the vine like the others, got to love this Briscoe, however dreamers can dream, so have at, but beware reality is just around the corner as usual
but JB has a new revolutionary process and a monied investor, so all of the normal steps to mining will be waved, because he's a good guy with a long and storied history of bringing mines into production with new technology
More "red meat" for the faithful, you have to give JB credit, he knows his loyal and faithful followers and what it takes to rev them up, I say eat it and enjoy it, because down the road you will be hungry again as usual, due to the fact it's more outlandish promotion, nothing else
Oh and btw as I said before, read between the lines, excitement over a new property? well that must mean JB has given up on the others, it's the Vancouver way, when one goes stale, you hint at a new one, textbook maneuver by the playbook, so sad
But remember JB didn't come up with this, a monied investor suggested it to him, it's all in the book
Go JB
Go LBSR
I couldn't have written it better
I think you hit the nail on the head and the dividing line among posters, the promotional tactics are what made me question everything, I am sure most were like me looking for a hidden gem, but after reading the PR releases came to a very different conclusion, which I stand by, most claim posters have no affect on stock price which is probably true, but companies do read them, and one good thing JB has slowed or stopped using these tactics lately which can be directly related to the light shined on them from this board imo, and btw why would I make such a grandiose claim? Because JB mentioned the discussions on this board in one of his PR releases back in March regarding the R/S debate, which is still on the table imo
How about over a 75% drop in the stock price over the last year, is that change enough, and maybe the reason for the AS increase, and the need for more $$$ and nothing else, hence the reason for no PR releases since the mirage in Manilla? Maybe JB is trying to sell something no one wants to buy is a logical conclusion since its been on sale for so many years, but dreamers can always dream, that's my speculation
I will dig it up and post it at some point, however who knows who that was, could have been the long time investor from there, couldn't have been that important since no PR was issued imo
I read in a 10k or something similar that lbsr did have one visitor from manilla visit, don't remember where I read it, and a little surprised one of the faithful didn't post it, I think it was in April
That's the more likely scenario, but in the vacuum of nothing you can insert anything you wish, which is what has been going on here for years, however the fact is the stock is virtually worthless and increasing the AS will likely keep it here. So as the chatter of the constant communication with Manilla fades, and it becomes clear it produced nothing as i predicted it wouldn't, btw to the heavy criticism of the faithful, it's time for a new red meat prospect for the faithful dreamers.
I guess he will never see fit to go ahead with it as JB said, no surprise, it never was a serious deal, it was a PR release to give some red meat to the faithful
True, I think I've been here to long, starting to forget the process of bringing a mine into production, quite a guy that Briscoe, post here long enough, read to many of his pr's and your sense of reality starts to slip away, thanks for waking me up
Makes my point, that even with those realities JB claims he is going to bring the billion dollar Hay mt online in 7 years? Miracles do happen, but not in the mining biz
Glad u have others that make up for this one, but I too am hoping lbsr proves me wrong, just hope JB doesn't come up with another NPSP type deal for Hay, better to have zero pr's than ones filled with fluff as in the past imo
FA your opinion on lbsr has really changed, skepticism in penny stockland is a plus, not a negative
Looks like the iceberg has already hit and the passengers seem to be in shock, down about 75% since the first prediction, most r under water, no movement or progress lately, just like a ship run aground
Lbsr will be fine once Genesis gets that $25 mil and starts mining NPSDP and paying royalities to lbsr, I think someone on the other board speculated it could be later this month, that is of course if Mr Mueller sees fit, and lets not forget about the constant communication with Manilla, or was it just constant communication with any interested party?
One by one the straw men fall
And sorry this is not a gamble, it's more like burying pennies in your backyard, and hoping after a few years they will become rare coins when you go back and dig them up, that's not a gamble it's called insanity, it was worth pennies when you buried it, and it will be worthless when you dig it up, that's what has happened here, under the guise of a multi-billion dollar potential investment, $1000 invested in 2008 is worth $100 now, what other facts do you need
I agree permits were never an issue, in business, money moves mountains, pun intented, I also agree funding climate is "HORRIFIC" for miners, but my point remains, I think JB knows it, and is just stringing shareholders along hoping for a miracle and seriously that's what it will take for this one, even the current updated presentation is a joke, as I mentioned before the climate of funding fools folly's that existed between 2007 thru 2010 is over and may not come back for a generation, and those wishing for a return of those days are merely taking another flight into fantasyland
I must admit I didn't believe your predictions, but here we are, or I should say, here they are, what's next? you've done your homework, an A+ so far without a doubt
True lots of post, but my contributions here are almost done, stock is pretty much where it belongs for the goods? JB have for sale, vindication on many fronts
Manilla
NPSDP
Share structure blow out
Hay Mountain, as time passes will be vindicated in the future, but wait its been 7 years almost, maybe by 10 most will finally throw in the towel.
OK, enough already I post to much as you said
There's a third possibility your are not adding to your equation, and the one I believe that may happen, here are your choices and my belief as to what will happen last
1. its like 2010, and this is the bottom or close to it, and as Tracy said massive gains from here, she should know better than telling shareholders that btw, or
2. It goes to triple zeros, like some are predicting, or
3, Imo, it falls to a new low stays there, investors lose all interest and it becomes what is known as a "Zombie" stock, neither dead or alive but just there, like what is happening to many mining stocks starting in 2014, and has really gathered steam so far in 2015, so you may accumulate millions of LBSR shares, but will unable to sell because the volume drys up
I watched for a year almost, of outlandish claims made by posters about LBSR prospects with barely an iota of provable evidence, just JB's word and NR's and other posters amen's to those post, now with a few posters contrary view of the same evidence, or lack there of presented by JB, these contrary views are howled and shouted down by the faithful, without current and reliable facts as to what's in the ground it's open to interpretation by others, this is the price one pays for such secrecy by JB, combine that with YEARS of nothing, it's natural to believe the worst in some cases.
As I said before I think JB may have had the best intentions years ago, but has now sunk to the same playbook as many of the other Vancouver mining promotions.
Again, as I said before, this needs to go on hiatus until the climate for such risky plays are funded once again, which maybe never, the 2007-2010 funding climate is probably gone for a generation at least, imo
And btw my definition of "the faithful" is those who believe LBSR has the goods without a single(current) drill hole and an orebody that is purely in the minds of those who bet big on JB's latest adventure.
Sad thing about it JB knows exactly what he signed up for, I am sure SOME shareholders are caught by surprise by the recent down draft in price, which not even the long wished for JV announcement can't stave off, desperate people do desperate things and this is the result, even JB is trying to move away from the toxic boys and girls, who like a vampire, suck all of the equity out, leaving a shell of an already empty company.
What is this?
At Hay Mountain (HM), we plan to ascertain whether the HM lode mining claims and AZ MEPs possess commercially viable deposits of copper, gold, molybdenum, silver, zinc, rare earth metals and other valuable metals. We have a phased exploration plan that involves diamond core drilling of multiple holes over targets determined by analysis of geochemical sampling and ZTEM electromagnetic and magnetic survey. Initial phase 1 drilling is planned to take approximately one year. Should results indicate the viability of the project, additional phased work, both exploration and development, is planned over the course of seven total years to define the nature and size of an ore body(s) and move toward mining. Any exploration plans are dependent on acquiring suitable funding. No part of the phased program is currently funded.

The Tombstone claims are undeveloped. However significant amounts of aeromagnetic surveys, IP (Induced Polarization Surveys), geologic mapping by the USGS and others, and geochemical surveys including soil, rock and vegetation sampling have been conducted at various times by various parties, over the last 60 years. When compiled and analyzed these various data suggest a compelling series of anomalies that are typical of buried, dirt and rock covered porphyry copper system(s). Below is a summary of prior exploration activities performed on our Tombstone claims: Technical Report : In mid-March 2011, Liberty Star contracted SRK to prepare three (3) Technical studies and Reports in a form similar to mineral reports prescribed under NI 43-101. Members of SRK’s engineering/scientific staff supervised by a Qualified Person as defined under NI 43-101 and SRK’s Tucson Office Principal Geologist, Corolla Hoag, and geologist Dr. Jan Rasmussen have visited the Tombstone property. This information was combined with storic technical reports going back to 1878 and more recent data up to August 2011 (the date of their reports). The three Technical Reports are entitled: (1) Walnut Creek Exploration Report, Tombstone District, Arizona –August 31, 2011, 147 pages; (2) The Tombstone Caldera South Exploration Report, Tombstone District, Arizona –August 31, 2011, 144 pages; and (3) Hay Mountain Exploration Report, Tombstone District, Arizona – August 31 2011, 155 pages. Because the Company’s stock does not trade on any Canadian stock exchanges, these three Technical Reports were not submitted to SEDAR, the electronic system for the official filing of documents by public companies and investment funds across Canada. We had also requested that SRK prepare a report on the Tombstone Consolidated Mines patented claims. These claims covered the entirety of historic productive area of the Tombstone mines which date to their discovery in 1877. However, before that report could be completed a competitor acquired a lease on those lands. These Technical Reports thoroughly summarize and illustrate the salient geotechnical data of the Tombstone Mining District covering about 250 square miles and present much data in computer map format. In such context, they analyze Liberty Star’s exploration programs as related to the entire area, make estimates and recommend execution of proposed Company exploration programs. Because of competitive pressure and the unique nature of the data which includes 40+ years of private report compilation by James Briscoe, our CEO, these reports are considered confidential and will not be released for the foreseeable future. Geochemical sampling at the Hay Mountain Project : In 2011 and early 2012 we collected nearly 1,800 rock, soil and vegetation samples over 621 sample sites over approximately 14 square miles centered on the Hay Mountain property. These samples have been assayed for 63 elements generating about 113,000 analyses. The samples were prepared by MEG Inc. and have been shipped to ALS Minerals (ALS-Chemex) a Certified (under NI 43-101 criteria and approved by regulatory processes) geochemical analysis lab in Vancouver, British Columbia. Assay results are being sent to our Tucson office and when all assays are received our geology team will be able to generate computer analyses that allow interpretation of the data.
ZTEM EM Survey : We have requested and have received a cost estimate from Geotech of Aurora (Toronto area) Ontario, Canada, which is the only purveyor of this helicopter borne electromagnetic (EM) geophysical method. This geophysical method has the ability to “look down” into the crust of the earth about 2,000 meters (6,000 feet) and detect sulfides which may be associated with porphyry copper systems. Test work over known Safford, Arizona porphyry copper deposits along with thousands of verifying drill holes show the geometry of such mineral systems can be determined, thus identifying whether it is a porphyry copper system or some other mineral system. When combined with our geochemical data, we can determine the position of the copper-moly center of the system and design our drill program to efficiently test and define mineralization. We flew ZTEM in July 2013 and the analysis report was received in February 2014
I admire your defense of this stock, however I said explored not owned or claimed, read the fine print, something tells me when you bought into this dream you didn't read the fine print, but nonetheless the stock is worthless, and the dream is dead.
I know most are desperate to discredit naysayers of the dream, but whether I am here or not reality is still staring most in the face each and everyday you check this stock, sorry
Right you are, selling worthless paper equity is as old as the markets are, nothing new here, the point is what's the end game, the presentation for Hay looks as though is was put together by a High School student, there's nothing there, and its all secret is BS, if anyone had anything close to what he claims, they would be shouting it from the rooftop, for anyone who would listen, any wonder why its been over 40 years and no takers?
And btw 40 years is an estimate of when Hay was first explored, 40 YEARS and no takers, JB is only the latest trying to develop it
Can you explain what happened to the Manilla deal or Vertical Bore? And no Dateline, LBSR is not ready for primetine. LOL
This is probably deader than usual until the meeting in June, when HUGE rumored deals should start up again once JB throws some fairy tale dust on the faithful at the meeting, after all he needs to peddle 3.5 billion more shares, I will have a source that will be attending whenever its held
What happened to the pending Manilla deal? and the "constant communication" has everyone given up on a deal? but who knows all is not lost, Genesis/Vertical Bore may get that $25 million loan and save the day, if Mr. Mueller sees fit
I am sorry forgot the NPSDP, the Genesis, Vertical bore fiasco, so you are right, it did fundamentally make them more attractive wouldn't you say? a landmark, innovative and revolutionary deal I would say, with a few other choice words that I will leave out. LOL
Ok I am done, a person has no right to have this much fun, back to business for me
And since then what deal have they landed? btw who is clueless? the person who rides a stock to zero? or the person that calls it a zero?
Shareholders benefit from an increased share price over time from executive actions, so I ask once more how have shareholders benefited from the 5 million off the books? where is it reflected in the share price? people brag about it, but received zero benefit from it.
Oh wait a minute, I think I understand the point, the accumulated debt of LBSR is around 67 million and without that deal it would be 72 million and the stock price would be .0005 cents lower, WOW what a big deal that was, don't spend it all in one place
What good did getting that off the books do for shareholders? most are still down over 90% with LBSR, so let me rephrase the question so you understand, it's not about what's good for LBSR, it's what's good for shareholders, so in my view it was a bust unless shareholders benefited and they(you) didn't why is that hard to understand.
Why is it hard for some to understand, a company has shareholders and if you are a shareholder, YOU should be the FIRST and not the SECOND, THIRD OR FOURTH to benefit, from executive actions, if they do things that put their interest above shareholders, they should be removed
They certainly got it correct in Alaska
I really hate to be mean spirited, but what did they get right in Alaska? and how much does it contribute to the bottom line of LBSR? success in the mining biz is usually defined by how much are you selling your ore for or what did you sell your project for? not on any account can AK be deemed a success, it was actually a bust that has left JB peddling very substandard properties as the next big thing
