Yes..a man of the cloth....
Sitting here in my office with nothing on but a loin cloth trying to figure out just how many Jim Gleasman's there are...it appears there are around seven or eight...
Note to self....
(I must repoint my moral compass to be more friendly, tolerant, peaceful, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent like sheriff and dyna)
I didn't flame anyone...
I made two points..one was actually complementary...
As for the Torotrak posters coming to the Torvec board, they have posted here and RB many times...relax...its a new year
Hi speedway.........
Seems like this time of year the Torotrak group pops up here before the Torvec shareholder meeting...
I agree with your comments from last week regarding their tech..they spent 100 million and are about to embark on a lawn mower launch..? Not sure there is a concern about them dominating world transmission market...to your point, if they did commercialize their transmission for the auto market somehow, the future is overwhelmingly bright for Torvec shareholders..
FYI..
Unless I'm missed something...that whole thing on Torotrak that allnumbers posted was not a commercializing event..I think it said that it was tested in a vehicle of a Chinese Auto company...didn't say anything about them buying Tortrak's technology..allnumbers said he was concerned that they may do a commercializing event prior to Torvec doing so..not that they did one..
An observation...
It seems that "Big Oil" has an interest in working with Torotrak because their product needs a special fluid to run porperly..."Big Oil", in this case Shell, wants to to sell them fluids...
Torvec's IVt would not be looked upon favorably by "Big Oil" because it would cause a decrease in the amount of their product used...that would make them "smaller oil"...
LOL.....oh yeah almost forgot..
Count me in for the remote broadcast...
We occassionally agree but not to often..
One thing we can agree on is that neither of us knows what is actually occurring behind the scenes....One other thing we can agree on is that completing deals in auto sector take way longer than any of us could have dreamed...so because a deal hasnot been announced yet, there is no deal..which is basically the impression you are trying to make with everyone...
When I see a company showing the following in no particular order over a period of several months, I have reason to feel that they are on the right track and it appears that many others do as well....
-eliminating a group of managers who appeared to be getting nowhere
-The school bus bond deal possibilities
-Adding a Director to the board connected at the highest levels of the State and US gov't
-Add a consultant/lobbyist to the team from DC with excellent credentials
-the gifting of shares by management
-the Iso-Torque at Nissan
-the preparation for possible moves to other exchanges and expanding the # of shares avaiable to be issude for splits, etc...
-the continued inflow of cash for preferred stock from multiple investors
-NASA contacts Torvec to put the IVT in the Moon Rover
-And then there is my opinion of the size of the short position which is growing and is big..
When I add alot of this up, it's not hard for me and maybe many others to get the feeling that they have got something here finally......it just doesn't happen fast enough , but that's the way it is...
I would suggest that you are in the minority on your steadfast negative orientation toward the company and the G's, etc...but hey, it's a free country. It also appears that others have come on the board here because they are fed up with your non-stop attacks on anything related to Torvec and the people running it...I bet that the directors are approved again for re-election somewhere in the 98% to 99% range...Even if you take out the insider votes, you are still in a very tiny minority...God Bless America
LOL...
I look at the NASA developments as a validating event..while we don't know the monetary aspects of the deal, it appears that NASA likes the IVT from a technical/mechanical perspective..
This added to the list of "things" that have occurred over the past several months that point to alot going on behind the scenes is positive..it's making some nervous and others happy with Torvec's progress...
Onward....
Here's mine...
"I told you sheriff and dyna that no matter how hard we try to stop Torvec, they are stilll going to beat us...hey is that Phil Murtaugh driving the moon rover..!?"
Enlighten the viewers dyna...
Who are they and what are their associations..
who are the new players.?
You brought up the name Andy...
I was asking who you are referring to...who is the Andy you are referring to..?
Happy New Year speedway...
The feedback on the last shareholders meeting was very positive...the momentum prodcued by the company this last year has not gone unnoticed by the market...I agree..the company is in good hands.....
Who is the Andy you are referring to...?
There is a Gleasman named Andy..
dread has referred to him several times in posts...was curious if that was who you are referring to when you say "I think Andy was a little biased when he posted JG's "resume"...and "I'm sure Andy is very close to the G's."...
Just curious....
Are you accusing Andy Gleasman of posting on this forum..?
Allnumb...
Correct me if my conversion to US $ is wrong, but TRK is trading at roughly 42 Pence, which is about 21 cents US..
Their IVT is a friction drive no matter how you look at it...GM and Toyota tossed them aside a few years ago due to noise and vibration, the need for special traction fluids, etc..etc...
No one company is ever going to have all the answers to the market, Torvec included....but is doesnot appear Torotrak has the answers..
Happy New Year everyone...
Hope everyone had a nice holiday...
Found it interesting that the published short position has increased by 83,000 during December...

Happy New Year to you dyna..
And the rest of the gang here...
Is sheriff making sandwiches for everyone..?
I'm kidding you sheriff about the being a shareholder to make a point....besides, I dont gamble..
You have always disclosed that you trade in and out of the stock..which means you like it when it goes up and down for the "round trip" repeat, which explains some of your "mood" swings..fortunately you appear to have held shares at the time the proxy went out and will be able to vote those 5000 shares against the current board members of your choice..it might mean that the same people are voted in by 98.7532% instead of 98.75325%...
To Leit's point...If I were you I would get to the shareholder meeting early and get in the long line of shareholders who are pissed off about the 300% increase in their TOVC investment in 2006 and are just not going to take it anymore...!
Sarbanes -Oxley is your friend....and so am I...
I tried to make it all the way to Tuesday with out posting...
You're smear campaign brought me out of my relaxing vacation time...if I can quote from your percenatges used from a few posts ago, the chances of you owning any Torvec stock are
0.0000000%...That doesn't mean you are short the stock...
This vendetta you are on has gotten very old..it's personal with you for some reason and many here I'm sure have their opinions on why...while you have managed to hold onto the sheriff alias for some tiome, it is your third alias, which has an intention to decieve pre-disposition...
I know it's free country and you can say whatever you want...or can you..? All Torvec shareholders wanted a deal sooner than now, but based on the progress made since mid last year, I think many shareholders are happy with Torvec's progress...
You donot know one thing that is going on behind the scenes at Torvec..you know what S-OX allows you know and you don't know what S-OX won't allow you to know...beyond that you're just blowing a giant bag of non-stop, negative hot air designed to smear the company and the people in it...
Happy New Year...
As we head toward Christmas day and the New Year...
I would like to wish everyone here a happy, safe and peaceful holiday and best wishes for the New Year to you and your families....
Torvecian..........
This will be...

You're not guessing the China deal has gone south...you're hoping it has gone south...there is a difference
"Dream On" - Aerosmith
"Based on Newspeeds post I'm guessing that the China deal has cooled off."
How in the world can you make that conclusion from speedways post..?
"Its simply common sense"..
Sheriff hates that...
speedway...
Your post brings to light how much is at stake here..it's all about positioning the company for the right partnerships, jv's production alliances or all-in suitors....all of which is geared toward unlocking the true value of the tech we as shareholders own...
Your post was very insightful...when the valuation discussions surface here periodically, I have been suggesting that it's the first deal or two that will validate the worth of the company and the individual technologies..as those deals gain traction, the market will then come to Torvec...It is then that we get closer to the end game....
Let's boogie...
Excellent...welcome aboard newspeedwayboogie2....
well said....
I dont live there atl...
One of the Rochester locals will have to respond...I would think if there was, someone would have posted it...
My guess is...
they only needed four of each but they had the Torvec coupon from Sunday's paper for the buy 5 get one free deal......
