BioTgel or its new name...?

Thanks JTFM
Nice to hear from you. It's been so quiet.
Interesting. 5 mg T established as a 21 day restoration dose. Maintentance dose not mentioned. That's where our data shines.

The Androgen Study Group applies more pressure on JAMA to address their unethical publication of a flawed testosterone study.
Hopefully the ASG will take on the FDA's position regarding testosterone and therapy for women.

Same from me. Thank you for sharing your efforts and insights.
Good luck everyone.
Silvr,
Thank you for the post.
I don't often weigh in but this video is very creepy. Images of a female child trying on her mother's high heels...another young girl gymnast...white lillies? Please. In a best case scenario you're trying to hurt the company. In a worst case scenario...?
Interesting connection.

You are good! I think there are lots of reasons Intrinsa could be our new product. The FDA may see the patch as a safer product because it is contained (within the patch). There is the obvious issue of efficacy.
I went to a wedding today and at the reception sat across the table from a guy whose company and job is to call people to get them to vote their shares. He said it's really hard to get people to vote and they don't understand the importance. His company handled the voting for the BPAX /ANI merger and he said they worked very hard for Biosante to get 50% but couldn't. I just wanted to tell everyone because at the time of the voting it was easy to suspect other motives.
Good research JTFM! Thanks for saving the study. It has been along time since I read it. BLISS is really comprehensive addressing concurrent hrt use ( or not).
Interesting news today. Lithium. A different direction. Great diversification.
Silvr surfer made an interesting point about political pressure. The timing for libigel might be right.
Hi JTFM
Are you thinking that we will provide safety data for Intrinsa or Libigel?
Either makes sense. The FDA is well aware of the ee/mt script numbers and topicals are safer.
It dawned on me that a Libigel approval could cut into our eemt sales. It's funny to have a thought like that considering how far we've come.
I posted an interesting article on the ATRS board about recent research showing safety of estradiol topical gel vs oral equine estrogen. Just wanted to let you know. I gave up trying to copy the whole post here (this tablet is impossible).
Anyhow, if you're interested it is good information for Elestrin.
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/05/140502172035.htm
When the World Congress on Menopause recently met this research was presented that demonstrated the superiority of estradiol topical gel (example: Elestrin) vs. oral equine estrogen ( example:Premarin). The equine estrogen has a much stronger tendency to cause genetic changes associated with breast cancer.
Could be big boost to Elestrin sales.

Their tight relationship with Lloyds and Alliance makes me think this could be an expansion of eemt in the UK. JMO. Page 12 of the Dexcel presentation.
Was this a delayed reaction to the Dexcel news? Does anyone know much about Dexcel?
Have a great weekend everyone!
Thank you for both items.
That's a lot of data!
Does anyone know of a UK website that tracks numbers of scripts filled? I believe there are sites like that for US scripts. It would be interesting to watch progress that way.
Thanks for the comparison info.
Let's have a great week!
The pps may get a boost this week because of tbe listing. I wouldn't complain about $68/per!
Quite an accomplishment!
It sure beats doing a reverse-split to avoid getting kicked off the Nasdaq.
Congrats to ANI management and staff!

Is this just a coincidence?
Libigel, Elestrin and geography in common.
Thanks for all the great posts!
With a report like that just out, our month may start improving tomorrow. The chart on page 9 and the summary page 19.
New article on Medscape says testosterone is probably cv protective.

Hi JTfM and Jeff
This is from 2004 but it emphasizes the investment levels of Teva,Solvay, and Israeli private investors in Biosante.
We know about Solvay, their ABT/Abbvie connection and their hormone products such as Estratest now known as eemt.
We know about the Teva connection, with our new product line and Bio t gel.
Maybe in addition to Teva,Frost was an original big investor back when share prices were north of $100 (way north!).
It is reassuring to think that there is a concerted effort here to regain a long overdue return on investment. Other than the obvious reason to leave northern Minnesota for Miami, I think the OPKO pilgrimage is noteworthy.
It's exactly what HFA Healthcare did with the Intrinsa price once it became an unlicensed medicine in the UK. Just like it.
EEMT used to be Estratest under Solvay Pharma. Then it became a drug still called Estratest but without FDA approval. Now it's EEMT and very expensive. But not prohibitavely expensive considering the it's for 90 days, covered by insurance in many cases, and comparable in price to custom made compounded versions.
Intrinsa is applying for relicense. I wonder what will happen to EEMT?
That' great. Thanks. Minimally, Deerfield thinks both investments are going up!
http://seekingalpha.com/article/1328041-reviving-the-blockbuster-potential-of-libigel-for-biosante-and-antares-pharma
This is the article that discusses the relationship between the 2 companies. Shared safety data mentioned in pp #1.
Best of luck to all ANIP longs!
I remember reading that ANIP and ATRS have equal access to the safety data so a new deal makes sense.
It seems like if the FDA had any serious questions about the data Dr. Snabes is the man you're gonna call.
Exactly. The timing is so interesting too.
ATRS is doing a 200 m "mixed shelf". It was announced after hours. I think you're right. I think it could be about Libigel.
Spoke too soon...
More research from Dr.Susan Davis demonstrating that testosterone therapy prevents cognitive decline.

Hi JTFM
Thanks for the link.
I check research on NAMS and ISSWSH conferences but had never perused that one.
Looked it over briefly and it seems like hrt philosophy resembles that of 1994. (lol) HRT is still about estrogen or estrogen/progesterone and hormone replacement therapy is promoted for quality of life issues with research demonstrating safety at appropriate dosage levels. The term HRT is still not about testosterone although ANIP shareholders are aware of its popularity.
I am interested in the EE market and the way Mr. Przybyl described our control over the raw material market. I know that our Elestrin profits are negligible but I think I remember that formula changing if a boatload of Elestrin were to be sold.
Like you and others here, I am confident that we are going higher. I guess it was blind faith that possessed me to average down like crazy from the pre-2011 BPAX days, but I did.
I believe we will see this company thrive from the profit of several products.
Isn't it a little weird that Marketwatch, the website that reports all those PRs and earnings reports of every company on all those OTC exchanges reported nothing about ANIP, a company traded on NASDAQ???
But if you look at ANIP on Marketwatch and click "charts" the chart has been updated with Q1 earnings. Nothing under "analysts estimates".
It's interesting that ANIP has control over the EE raw material. I wonder if that will do anything for our agreement for Elestrin?
It seems like a huge price jump for EEMT but not really when you think of it as 2 different hormones and it's a little more than a 3 month supply. Probably comparable to a compounded script.
Technically it is a compounded script, right?
I didn't know what to think about the cost of the stock and options for employee benefit and how all of that would affect net revenue.
Why is the Pps down?
Thanks. I steal an occasional glance at Marketwatch while I'm at work and the PR never made it there today ( nor the earnings). Strange.
It's kind of ironic that we have become the company selling a commercially prepared testosterone/estrogen to women with the FDA's consent (as opposed to approval).
Good luck everyone!
Hi JTFM
Where are you reading that there was a price increase? Thanks.
