I think that the most powerful farmers are probably part of the Party and they represent many parts of the country where the silk industry is very heavy.
I can see the hot discussions at the highest levels of the Party for who will get the new worms first and how the wealth generated by these worms will be shared. That, more than the corruption, mentionned by some here, is probably what is delaying the Vietnam deal...IMO.
Well, I guess no news is good news!
Didn't someone say " Up we go!" with the latest news???
The same person also hinted that those who thought that the price would not increase with the latest PR didn't really know what they were saying???!
I wonder if that person still has the same point of view?...
Now that they are aware, do you know if there is any interest?
Yep, we think the same way!
Ok, so we are apparently moving to expand on the biotechnology side (begun the process to open a new production and research center, preparing the field I suppose...) and it seems to be overseas?
With a PR like that, Jon seems to have regressed to Kim's level of communication!!!!
Watch the PPS go down....
And could it happen next week?
Looks like Jon is busy, he is not responding to questions!
Nope, nothing different.
Still won't show on my IPad???
Yep, seems to be down, I get the error message that the servor cannot be reached? Could they be updating?
Well, you know what they of those who laugh alone...
Says one that wants to minimize...
And the market is not duped, it reads it the same way...
Well, if one plans fishing like one plans business, then one can understand why the business goes nowhere!
I like your confidence ! However, I've learned in times to be cautious with the information we receive from the Company, it seems to be on the verge of production since at least six years...!
I guess it depends on your notion of "soon"...
It's been a while since we have representatives in Vietnam, and a few months since we have an office there, so I think we can get news anytime.
For sure!;O)
Much appreciated Yank!
That's a subtantial change for WM, it has to be worth the investment (in terms of equipment and HR)!
Seems to be alot but is it? How does that compare to commercial production?
I meant "square yards" not square feet yards!
Based on the info probided by Yankee:
"Warwick can weave between 1,280 to 1,600 square yards of pure DS fabric from 33.1 lbs of reeled thread from the Indiana facility. This initial first phase of the US Army contract could cut this DS fabric into 6,400 - 8,000 swatches of DS fabric for shoot pack testing ( 5 swatches/ square yd.)"
662lbs (ie 20x33.1) of DS would result in 25,600 to 32,000 square feet of yards, produced in the Indiana facility, and I'm supposing this is on a monthly basis (not sure about that though..)!
"Under the first phase of the project … we’re producing about 15 kilograms of our strongest, most elastic material to date," Rice said.
The July PR ondicated that the Indiana facility will allow to increase production capacity by nearly twenty times!
20x15kg=300kg...how much material would that allow to weave?
Not sure if that means you love or you hate your mother in-law?!
Hmm, september 2016??? Is that a heads up?
So it seems that we are at the mercy of the Company and the Market Makers!
Agreed, but it doesn't seem that the Company is in any rush to move on to another location...
Yep! The uncertainty around VN or another country (so far none, it seems, even if India was mentioned a few times) is certainly contributing to keep investors away from KBLB.
While I think the Company is moving in the right direction and feeding us with valuable information, it does not seem to attract investors in great numbers! Perhaps the perspective of revenues is still too far for too many...
So, when are we getting a VN news?
I see...
Thank you tpro. Hopefully, we got mature enough bushes so won't have to wait 10 weeks:
"For harvesting leaves, mulberry bushes under irrigation attain a height of about 1.3 m in 10 weeks, when the leaves are ready for picking."
I wouldn't call them trees but shrubs! Still, 2000 would require at least an acre or two! But I suspect some of those are replacements.
Wow! Two thousand trees! That doesn't seem to be a small capacity!
Getting there...
I like the part that says "...pending customers"
This tells me the Company has identified some customers, probably waiting for orders to be confirmed...indeed the next weeks and months are very promissing!
No, this site is not exclusivly for army test only...see what the PR says:
"This facility was initially established to fulfill the Company’s contract with the US Government. Additional production capacity from this facility will be used to satisfy material needs from industry collaborators and pending customers."
I don't know how you are calculating your 500% and what is your issue with my post but you really seem to be pist at the world?!!!
Agreed, that's a good analysis!
I'm not anticipating much volume today, I may be wrong...
