Gaspard's CC slipped my memory. When was that? I was looking for a point of reference, because about five weeks ago this stock was headed 'to da (proverbial) moon' at 35. Today there are bids out at 2, and I don't recall JG saying peep since March 9.
Loyal
We pick on Molen a lot, but when is the last time Gaspard said anything . . . . about anything?
And do we have absolute proof that his manufacturing plant is actually manufacturing product?
Loyal
duck,
Last one was March 10.
Loyal
Is this . . . America's ducktor . . .
"Comin' home . . . . . to roost." ?
Loyal
Much as I mostly despise them, ya gotta hand it to those mm's. Even with good news, they know how to keep a lid on a stock.
Loyal
Just as with VGP$, I suspect the mm's are maneuvering and bringing us down as they anticipate a possible run. That way they won't be caught with their drawers down.
JMO.
Either VCOR and VGP$ swim together or they sink together.
Loyal
Dipped back 6 from 7. Looks like the mm's may be jockeying for position and making sure they don't get caught with their drawers at half mast.
JMO.
And as to MM not being a good speaker? Not a prerequisite for success . . . . unless one needs a teleprompter to get his points across.
Loyal
PROFIT,
I've seen similar results in the past. And it always indicated the entire CC beforehand was a well disguised sham. Hope this isn't one of them. We'll see soon enough.
Loyal
While I'm hopeful, I can't recall one of these trade shows ever producing movement in the pps. They're generally little more than glorified flea markets where everyone stands around trying to peddle ideas, and they contain little substance about the company renting the booth. Just sayin', so we'll see.
I can almost hear people walking around echoing Dylan:
'Ev-ry-bod-y ... must ... get ... stoned.'
Loyal
I never saw a CC that led to upward movement of the pps. Never. And I agree with others that MM has to show profit dollars in his presentation; otherwise, the whole conversation will be little more than horse hockey.
I'm hoping, but am not a strong believer at this point.
Loyal
- - - Oh, and does anyone know if Gaspard be on the line as well?
Trail,
You've got more detail here than I was looking for, but I like your inclusiveness. You're right; we need some nuts and bolts to grind with, instead of more hooks, lines, and sinkers to swallow.
Loyal
deebs,
To paraphrase Apollo Creed at ringside in Rocky III:
That was easy.
Loyal
We should note that if the upcoming CC is just an audio version of the company's Forward Looking Statements, it will be yet another waste of time for everyone, except Michael.
His message must include dollars, both in the bank and on the way. Otherwise, it's just another round of stall ball. No more leeway on this man's whimsy. He needs to adhere to the 30-second clock.
Frankly, to whoever is on the other end of the line, I have no questions; only one comment: It's time to knock off the bullshit, fellas, and give us the straight scoop.
Loyal
It makes one wonder about today's modern run-of-the-mill CEO. Without so much as flinching with a bit of embarrassment, he can pocket nearly 3 million bucks in a year, then turn around and basically stiff those who helped him get what he has while his market cap tanks.
Nor has he any reservations about repeating his little game again and again as frustrated shareholders wither and die like a thirsty crop during a blistering drought.
This is rapidly becoming a stock whose leader fully embraces the contemporary motto: "It's all about me."
Loyal
Just a thought:
Well, with the video and three interviews, at least it was something positive in a tangible way. It would have been better, however, if the moderator's input and the men interviewed would have just talked to the viewers, instead on merely reading robotically from prepared scripts.
Let's hope PotNetwork can improve on this, because I'm not sure the mm's still in full control were impressed enough to let this thing run.
Loyalhound
Not sure, bro, but I think I can answer all three of your questions, and I'll do it in the order you listed:
Answer #1 --- He'll double check on that and get back to you.
Answer #2 --- He'll check on that also and get back to you.
Answer #3 --- He'll get back to you in a few days on that.
Michael: Hope that helps, Gator. Thanks for the call. ---- Click.
Loyal
Al,
Good question. Perhaps the CEO hands the business off to someone in the office (or trailer) who takes the job on the stipulation that he receive 10 billion Bernanke-type shares as compensation.
Then it's wash, rinse, repeat.
Just guessing, bro. Hope you're doing a sight better than I am.
Loyal
Leezee,
I'm with you on that . . . . as long as he doesn't cash out and take whatever he could get - - - and then split for parts unknown.
Wouldn't be the first time I saw that happen.
Loyal
Question is: How much of that 800 G's goes into the business and how much goes into somebody's pocket?
I realize people have to get paid for work. Well, everybody but us shareholders, I guess.
Loyal
Fins late. Again.
Predictable? For sure. Everything is always late with VGPR.
Acceptable? No. They've had ample time to get it done. That it's tax season is lame.
Sounds like the current administration, doesn't it?
- - - No transparency as advertised
- - - Fuzzy math
- - - Lying about communication
- - - No real accomplishments
- - - Unwilling to take responsibility for one's actions
We're up for now, but mm's will just walk it back down until . . .
Michael can show 'em the money.
Loyal
VGPR now higher than VC$R? No way. But there it is at high noon. Now I"ve seen everything.
Loyal
We're twelve days and counting now, and it's a dust bowl here. Nothing of any substance since March 3, so I take it we're on life support.
Obvious question from this camp is: How long before we go grey?
Loyal
Have we seen a legitimate bid in the last six months? August was the last I can recall. My broker has had a 'sell only' order for almost that long, and I'm not about to sell at quad zips.
Loyal
I would suggest that if anyone chooses to call or e-mail MM, keep it fair to middlin' if not short and sweet. Whether he's a shyster or not, he's made it clear that trying to humiliate him isn't going to get you anywhere.
Loyal
At 11:25 it's impossible. But there it is. The pps of Vega is now higher than VCO$. The sky will fall any minute.
Loyal
Okay, here's my beef on the pics:
Cows enjoy being milked twice a day. We don't.
Loyal
P.S. - - - And be on alert. The USDA may inquire as to whether you obtained permits to posts those pics.
Insudsious,
We let you know when this tub gets to .001?
Oh, horse hockey. You're eyeballing this closely the same as the rest of us. We'll hear more from you tomorrow, I'm sure.
Loyal
Okay, if the judge gives us the green light and the case is appealed to a higher court that overturns it, then what?
Reminds me of the old not so funny gag line: "If it weren't for attorneys, . . . we the people wouldn't need attorneys."
Loyal
Kinda disgusting in a way that (if it's true) the fate of a stock hinges solely on what one woman on the bench decides. Is this what stock trading has come to in the land of the free?
Loyal
As I just noted over at the Vega side, we got us a tie ball game at 6. You gotta be jokin' me.
Loyal
Holy bio-char. We got a tie ball game at 6. Who wouldda thunk it was possible a couple weeks ago?
Loyal
Good point, bro. Problem is, the EPA is in the tank for big gov and big biz. It will often give major polluters a pass while putting the screws to start-ups. Since '08 the gov has been in the habit of killing small business . . . . in the name of free enterprise. Go figure.
Loyal
Re #70351:
Personally, I think it's at least you and me. Mm's body slammed this thing a year ago and have had a choke hold on it ever since.
Loyal
Take heart, bro. At least they're not building it in 'The Swamp.'
Loyal
It's amazing how short-sighted human nature is. A couple weeks ago James Gaspard was the smartest man since Einstein. Today he either forgot everything he ever knew about his business or he fundamentally transformed himself into the second biggest shyster on the planet.
Having said that, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but I still think the problem lies in the players hiding in the shadows --- the mm's. They're the ones with their hands on the levers and the ones who flip the switches.
Holding fast here ---though admittedly--- with white knuckles.
Loyal
Does anyone have proof that dilution is going on? I don't know. Just askin'.
If not, then we might be looking in the wrong place for the culprits here. Everyone knows mm's constantly hide in the shadows and do their dirty work at the expense of both insiders and retailers.
Which reminds me of a spin-off of something Mark Twain stated: "The lightning does the work and the thunder gets the credit for it."
Loyal
fax,
My guess also. Mm's want to walk it down further for a bigger payday later. The bums.
No indication of insider dilution, but nothing surprises me anymore.
Loyal
.0010
I'm mystified. Anyone know something most of us don't?
Loyal
Hey bro, I'm not arguing with the gist of your grump. All I'm saying is (and you used the word yourself, 'connection') the two men are still linked.
Do I trust Molen? Not really. But we have no other choices other than to stay the course or bail, and I'm sittin' tight. Besides, I've whined over and over myself for months, and I want my money's worth from all the bitching I been doin'.
I'd druther Gaspard say to MM, "Look, we're partners. But I got the goods; you only got the contacts. I can survive without you, but you can't survive without me." That's what I'd prefer. But Michael is too savvy for that, and Gaspard doesn't fit the cutthroat mold.
Then there's the mm's (market-breakers) who have had a lid on this pot for about a year now. Get me started on that slimy bunch.
Well, that's enough. Think I'll go down a couple shots o' something to take the edge off.
Have a marvelous day.
Loyal
Insidious,
I think B & P is right on this one. You thumb your nose at one, you thumb your nose at the other. One big shot may be good and the other highly questionable, but the two companies are still joined at the hip t.f.n.
Loyal
- - - 11's. A yearly low and 82% down since mid January. Geez, no one would have forecast that.
