Keep topics to TDGI Please
I understand the desire to want to refute assertions, but when they're off topic they're going to be deleted. This is nothing more than a tit-for-tat. Some of you were on the EFGU board recently and caused problems over there. What did you expect? Let's play nice here and keep the topic to TDGI. It will work itself out.
TDGI!
Thanks for stopping by and providing vague, veiled innuendos. You must not spend much time here, most are too seasoned to be swayed by what you have to say. I've seen hundreds of you "watch and learn" folks come and go from this board, and the only thing I've watched and learned is that what was said by you folks never had any merit.
I do appreciate the sentiment of how you're looking out for us though. Good to know people care:)
Go TDGI!!!
Nice pick up. Somebody is playing a game here. They'll lose, you'll win. Game over:)
TDGI!!!
Resistance has been pierced.
We closed above .045 yesterday, and I'm looking for TDGI to build on that today. Momentum is gaining, and I expect TDGI to retest .06 in short order. We should easily be able to make .06 support rather than resistance.
Great time to add to your position if you haven't already done so.

Chace Crawford & 50 Cent Premiere "Twelve"
Anticipation is building for the release of Twelve. We'll be looking for the media blitz over the next week leading up to the showing of the film.

Anyone ever consider this?
It's interesting that we jumped from 250-ish screens for Twelve several weeks ago to learning that Twelve is showing on 456 screens. Now we learn we're partnered with Twentieth Century Fox for DVD/VOD distribution. I wonder if the deal with Fox kicking in added and will add additional screens? After all, it's said that the box office is really a very expensive advertisement for most movies to the DVD/VOD market where the film really makes a profit. Fox partnering with us may have helped add the additional 206 screens with an eye towards casting a wider net to sell more DVDs... Win-win scenario that I'd like to see more of going forward!

Glad to see that some who bought before they knew what they got are still here. It has been a bumpy ride for ya since July of '09. What I love to hear is stories just like yours where you bought into a prior iteration of the company, have it go through a reverse merger, then stay on board because you like the new company so much. I don't think there's more than a handful of people still here from the old days. Nice to have you hanging around!

What's nice is knowing that once we have a 5+ million share day, there won't be a big seller trying to gracefully exit their position. We more than likely would be over .10 at this point based on a few days of heavy volume in the past if it weren't for a big seller or two. But we all believed that the 200 million share overhang was what was holding us back. We lived and learned. Now we're free and clear of that, and I see the next major volume day truly creating a blue sky breakout!
Go TDGI!
I love grass roots movements. It's a great investment to tell people about as the story is so compelling. But take notice that we had 33,000 board reads yesterday, and are over 21,000 today. There are a ton of eyes on this one for sure just here. I think spreading the word is a great idea. However, I think with the amount of readers here per day versus posters, thousands of people are watching and waiting. I think once the full details of the deal hits along with the audited financials, some people with large amounts of money will come buying in as it will be a less speculative investment then.
Think of ourselves as prospectors mining these hills for gold. Once the gold is discovered, it creates a gold rush. The prospectors always make the most:)
Go TDGI!
Great idea. You'll find many of us here have done that very same thing time and time again. Most here on this board have broken every investing rule for penny stocks. Most here are totally overloaded, and for good reason. You're in good company!
Go TDGI!
Good morning! Very exciting times indeed. We saw yesterday that Eric has started the wheels in motion with a bunch of significant news. News could be dropping any second. Great time to be invested in TDGI!
32,756 Board Reads Today!
Interest is definitely up in TDGI today. One of the most actively read boards on iHub. Lots of great information to be had here on this board. Stay tuned, more significant news is on its way.
Gordon, you are one astute investor. You're a charter member of Club 2011, right?
Go TDGI!!!
Great answer, Engineer. I also like this part from your post:
And of course there is always the clout that comes with being partnered with 20th Century Fox when you are going after films.
Not only the clout, but the validation. This news has got to be killing some people here who have really bet that this isn't the case. Ouch...
Just as a point of reference, many people always have doubts about everything. We don't know the details yet, but the hand has been tipped. There's no way that this isn't significant news. The fact that Hannover isn't distributing their own film that they're releasing to the box office is very telling. Only one reason they can be doing this, and that's because there's huge potential in Twelve!
Go TDGI!
Quickly put, ASRMAL, this is beneficial to Hannover because it allows one of the largest distributors in the film industry to distribute Twelve to a significantly larger audience at an assumed premium to Hannover (Hannover isn't in this for charity, right?) Hannover is a small indie distributor sitting on two potential gold mines. We all know that. Now we know and have been validated that a large distributor knows it. Eric is leveraging his experience to do what he thinks will get Hannover the biggest bang for their buck.
I'm sorry, but I just can't see how anyone could take this as a negative. I guess we all see what we want to see, but this is HUGE POSITIVE news for Hannover. I guess time will prove who is correct.

The Big News is Rolling Out
The big news is starting to come out, and it only STARTS with Twentieth Century Fox. This was worth the wait!

Think Walmart
What TDGI is in essence doing here is exactly what Walmart does as a business. Walmart caters to larger volume at a lower price. They seemingly leave a lot on the table by choosing to cast a wider net, but you cannot argue that this method isn't extremely profitable. Seems to work very well for Walmart. I don't see anyone questioning the Walmart method. Hannover is doing just that to have Fox distribute Twelve on DVD.
It's puzzling that someone would believe that this deal is not a good one for Hannover. To recap:
1. Hannover has now gotten wide distribution for Twelve - 456 screens
2. Hannover has partnered with Twentieth Century Fox to widely distribute Twelve on DVD, presumably at a nice premium to Hannover since we are in the business of making profit off films and not doing charity work.
3. Major synergies WILL be realized by partnering with Twentieth Century Fox on this distribution deal.
4. This news seems to be the first piece of the four major news items we have been waiting for.
5. Eric has once again under-promised and over-delivered.
6. Hannover was just validated as a viable contender by partnering with one of the largest film distributors in the industry.
Any negative spin on this story is just that. This is great, validating and SIGNIFICANT news for TDGI that you just can't dismiss.
Go TDGI!
Something is Backwards Here:)
Is the news that Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is distributing Twelve the first of the four pieces of "big" news we've been waiting for? Well, to me it seems quite obvious that Hannover, whose primary business has been DVD distribution, is not distributing a film they're releasing at the box office. To me, this is quite obvious that something is up. This is completely backwards from how Hannover typically conducts their business.
Guys, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is distributing this film in the DVD market. This isn't some no-name independent distributor. They believe Twelve is mainstream enough to distribute. Talk about validation...

456 Screens for Twelve
It's worth reposting again as a lot of info passes through this board daily. Our CEO has once again under-promised and over-delivered. We were slated to have Twelve run on 250 screens, but Eric delivered big by pushing Twelve back and adding 206 screens for a total of 456. This gives TDGI the best possibility for Twelve to succeed and in turn for the PPS to rise.
Yet another reason why we have the best CEO in Penny Land.
Go TDGI!
I personally would prefer if Eric said nothing until he has the news we've been waiting for. I don't think he will put out anymore PRs about the business deal until he can divulge the full details. Anything short of that would draw more criticism at this point IMO.
Go TDGI!
Thanks for the article. I haven't seen it yet. This is my favorite part and why I'm waiting this out without selling any shares, only adding on weakness.
No word on that action yet, but in a follow-up announcement, Hannover House CEO Eric Parkinson said:
"To be clear, the Target board of directors is not considering a corporate merger or a closure of TDGI. The board is evaluating opportunities that would be expected to generate a premium benefit for shareholders. One of the ventures presently under consideration is a partial asset sale of some aspects of the Hannover House division to a fully-reporting Bulletin Board entity that currently meets the shareholder requirements for an expeditious upgrade to the American Stock Exchange."
Keep the faith. We do what we say we're going to do!
What a nice gesture. Eric didn't have to place this in the email, but he did. And you wonder why? Well, he fields so many emails from people with cynical, doubtful, insulting undertones that he's affirmatively replying tongue-in-cheek to the naysayers while reaffirming what we already know. I for one appreciate the sentiment.
Eric doesn't have to give us any info, he's not required to by law. He could simply delete the message and never respond. His response is never one that reeks of puffery or spin, and there's never outrageous claims in them either.
Since so much weight has been given to an anonymous blog about HTYMP, we ought to afford the same veracity to Eric's reply to Jason.
Thanks, Jason!

Twelve roll out significantly expanded as well as The Wild Hunt. I love the way Eric is trending...
Go TDGI!
I'm with you Engineer. Sell me all your .02s, I'll take them. Twelve has always been the make or break film for TDGI. If Twelve bombs, it makes no difference when HTYMP is rolled out as the "locomotive effect" will have effectively been derailed.
But as we see, Twelve will be on 456 screens. I really like our chances of success here!
Care to explain? It really helps the flow of the board if you weigh in with more than just a sentence. Thanks!
USC, nice voice of reason here. We need people to understand exactly what you said, and then we can have more constructive posts on the board. What is interesting to me is the amount of folks on this board invested here that are over 50. They say you gain wisdom with age. That being the case, I'm a little surprised that this many people over 50, who typically are more conservative investors due to their status in life, are invested here in TDGI, a pink sheet stock. I find that very telling.
Thanks for the post!
So wait, Racing Dreams is a real movie? Just kidding of course:) Thanks for sharing the feedback. I too am sure it will find its audience, though at this point I'd wish it were on DVD. It will be interesting to see if the west coast receives Racing Dreams better than the south and east coast. Whatever the case, we all know it's heading to DVD and should make some money there.

Ha ha, now that is funny and true!

Redji, nobody's attacking the messenger. The point you're making about the audited financials and the point Ryan brought up about belief in the company are not mutually exclusive. They go hand in hand. The problem as I see it is day in and day out we have to keep revisiting this issue. We all know it's there. There's nothing we can do about it. At this point as we wait for the audited financials that haven't come yet, we have to have faith that they're coming. If we lose that faith, then we no longer believe they're coming and we should sell our positions and move on. That's a summary of the argument that happens here nearly every day.
No shooting of the messenger, but maybe the beating of a dead horse. I appreciate how you bring this up, and yes it is a salient point. But it's a point that no matter how much we discuss it will not change until the company files the financials. Maybe we can agree that that's an outstanding issue that doesn't need to be brought up day in and day out. If any are not comfortable with the wait, we can make an informed decision to stay or go.

No reason to fear those words, my friend. In fact, they are quite standard in PRs. Ever seen the safe harbor statement at the bottom of every PR from every company, both big board and pinks? That's right, they disclaim away everything that was just said in the PR above it. No different here. I personally don't like "concrete" statements when dealing with a dynamic process.
So to those who didn't like the word "may" & "should", etc in the PR, which is it? One day you complain because a concrete time frame was given and you fear it will be broken, then the next you complain because the words "may" & "should" come up and it's not specific enough. I'm a little confused as to your circular logic here.
I feel bad for Eric as he can't win no matter what he does in some people's eyes. I think he's doing a great job, and until he dilutes us or stabs us in the back, I'm okay as to how he's running things. It's not the way I'd do it, but it's not my company.
Go TDGI!
Thanks for posting this. I've been saying over and over again that audits take time. I'm personally going through one now as a small business owner. Enough already with the "where's the audited numbers" Unless you have personal experience or can cite a specific reference as to how long an audit takes, you're wasting your breath and energy. We all want the audited numbers. If the audit doesn't meet a time frame and you've grown skeptical and leery of TDGI, it's time to move on really. Don't know why we have to revisit this issue every day.
Go TDGI!
Great idea, Ryan. I've locked in my vote. Are the Price is Right rules in effect? If so, nobody better go Price is Right on me and bid $1 more than mine!
Consider this a test!
Did you receive your iHub TDGI board email today with the news? If you did, you're prepared to get any of the news we're waiting for without having to check in on the board. If not, take a moment and sign up by opening up the iBox, going to the VERY bottom of the iBox and clicking on Options: Add yourself to the 'Target Development Group ' E-Mail List.
We have a ton of info we're expecting to get over the coming weeks and months, and this is a great way to get that info away from the board.
Thanks... and GO TDGI!
Great observation, Speckulater. I noticed the boardmarks rose today too while I was working and briefly checking in here. People actually do want to come here and read DD, not read the drama. Lots going on here just around the corner. Should keep people checking in often.
Go TDGI!
(EDIT)
The boardmarks jumped to 410 within minutes of posting this. Lots of good info flowing here!
Great post, jim45. Well said!

I understand your concerns. But you know these are the pink sheets and nothing is crystal clear. As far as pinks go, this is one of the most transparent. There are so many eyes on this I can't imagine any of us have blind faith here. It's more of a calculated risk.
You are preaching to the choir here. I understand being frustrated about the delays, I am too. I want them as much as the next guy. My position is that as long as the share structure doesn't change, I'm fine with the waiting.
For those who keep incessantly complaining that Eric is delaying and that you're losing faith in him, please explain to me and the rest of us here how we are getting shafted here. I see TONS of complaints day after day after ever-loving day that Eric is not meeting deadlines, etc. Okay, got it. Now translate that for me into how we are getting screwed from the company. Because the intimation in each and every post about the delays and losing faith in Eric is that he's scamming us. So tell us, what's the scam here?
Not even those who have sold all or most of their position has explained it. They've just uttered concerns about what *may* be happening, as much speculation as us who are waiting patiently.
