Heaven forbid that happens, Jack! It's true that you could buy a boatload of cheap shares at that lower price but it might be a much longer road to hoe before we could see 80 cents again. Investor confidence in POW would be dealt a deadly blow and no one would trust buying it at such lofty levels again. Let's keep the floor at 30 cents and let the higher price from then commence!
Let's hope Disney springs for another 10% of the pie later this year. Heaven forbid POW's stock price ever goes back to the dark ages again! It's time for another buying spree until we're all home free! Buying POW at 30 cents now is equivalent to buying it at a dime last December. It's a table pounding, volcano erupting, earthquake of a bargain right now! Anyone who doesn't see that should have his eyes examined and his brain matter adjusted!
I always was a bit of a wordsmith, Jack. No wonder I was named poet laureate of my class in 9th grade by Sister Cornelia. Her nickname was corny but we kept that a secret from her. Yes, I expect that Disney will gobble up a larger share of POW sometime this year. Stan will certainly announce some significant developments at the next few comic cons he'll be attending and that should boost the stock price. We're in limbo right now but should be in 7th heaven soon with any luck at all!
I'm betting that Disney ups the ante with POW by year's end. I won't throw my cards in until I've got a royal flush. And I'm not talking about Queen Elizabeth's toilet! How's that for a word picture?
POW will POP on news we can use. It's a non starter to be a pink sheet charter. When POW reports or Disney sports another 10% stake in the company, we'll see this stock double or triple in a flash. We'll all be flush with cash. Just hold your horses everyone. It's gonna be a barnburner to end all barnburners when this thing gets cookin! Just look what happened on little news not long ago. Imagine what big news would do! Buy now and KA POW to da moon!
That's right, Niner! The biggest Comic Con is comin soon and nothing could be finer. Stan usually lets a few cats out of the bag at the national convention in San Diego the last week in July. Let's hope he makes a big pitch for us there this year! This is the time to buy POW while it's running in place in the 30 cent range. We could see the 60s before the 1st of August and a buck by 2011. Disney won't wait too long before swallowing us up whole. My shares are for sale to this corporate whale. Come and get 'em boys! You'll own Stan Lee's creative works, lock, stock, and barrel. That should be worth a bundle for many years to come!
This is obviously an attempt to scare investors away from purchasing shares of POW. This is standard language that every company uses to warn investors that any investment carries risk. Looks like someone wants in on POW shares, but at the price of several months ago. There are too many irons in the fire for this tactic to work once again. Anyone selling POW right now is selling low and will regret such an unwise decision! We're just one PR away from big money and most of us know it.
POW will soon be soaring off the charts when Stan and Disney start giving us some details of their coming attractions. This technical mumbo jumbo isn't worth a tinker's damn. Buy this baby now or rue the day you let it get away! Mark my words! I don't expect to be eating them with my dinner salad.
The one thing we all agree on is that POW is a very worthwhile investment! Sooner or later, we'll all be well rewarded for sticking with this pretty in pink stock. Movies with Stan Lee's name attached to them are still making hundreds of millions of dollars every year. How can we go wrong buying shares in a company run by the godfather of comics and underwritten by Disney Studios? Just one big announcement could easily cause our 34 cent shares to jump into the 50 to 60 cent range! It's a given that will happen in the foreseeable future. Probably years before Stan is measured for a mausoleum vault by the friendly neighborhood undertaker. So cheer up, POWsters and manic to depressive posters.
The best is yet to come!
I sure like 34 cents a lot more than the nickel we were at not so long ago! We've solidified the stock price in the mid 30 range and just about any good news will move us up in a hurry. I did my part this week by adding significantly to my POW position. When we jump to 50 or 60 cents one day soon, everyone will kick themselves for not buying more shares when they were so cheap! Why not stock up now when this undervalued pinkie is once more under the radar? Stan will spring a surprise on us when we least expect it. He's warming up in the bullpen right now and perfecting his famous spitball. If you don't swing for some extra shares of POW today, you'll strike out and miss all the fun!
Great post, Dogman! Disney knows that POW is a valuable entity and got in early while the price was low. The pink sheet price doesn't in any way reflect the true value of this company. You're right that we should see POW at least double by year's end. A Disney buyout could happen at any time also. It's amazing that we only traded a lousy 2,000 shares today! My big order for shares at 35 cents didn't get filled but I'll try again tomorrow. We've closed at 32 to 37 cents each day for over two weeks now. We seem to have reached a plateau in the 30s that's pretty solid. It should only be onward and upward from here! Smiling Stan will soon be making us cheer!
I think it's time we let you out of the poster doghouse, fellow POWster Dog. It seems you're barking up the same tree as the rest of us true believers! You have the scent and won't let it go until you've cornered some profits in our formerly rinky, dinky, stinkie pinkie. Keep on chasing the tail of the tape and we'll all wind up in a penthouse suite sipping Pina Colatas with smiling Stan, our beloved Generalissimo!
What a happy and hopeful testimony you gave in support of POW's current stock price, Dog! Now I know that we'll all be in the money soon when a cautionary like you thinks we've hit the bottom!
I'll be throwing another 5 grand into this once stinkie pinkie for good measure in the coming week. I hope the MM is in a good mood and lets me in cheap like he did today. You're right that the longs will be singing happy songs when any big news hits the public airways. Disney is forever linked to POW and our beloved Generalissimo. We'll either go up on our own or we'll get another transfusion from the Magic Kingdom. We've gone from being on life support last December to tent mates of Uncle Walt and Grandpa Stan! How can we lose when we're next of kin to the dynamos of the entertainment industry? We should be hearing our marching orders from headquarters by summer's end. Yes, our pot of gold is just around the bend!
We ended the week on a positive note. I picked up a big block of shares today for the cause. Next week, I hope to put the finishing touches on my POW portfolio. Then come what may. We'll all wind up richer someday. The sooner the better I say!
Let's hope your next stop for loading up on POW shares is 40, Jack! I'd hate to see a buying opportunity in the 20s if we can help it. I'm looking to load up right here if I can get some shares around 35 cents. Liquidity is so low that you almost have to buy at the market to get a fill. Imagine someone buying 30,000 shares with no set price! We'd probably go to 40 cents in the snap of a finger! Get snapping, someone!
I agree that we need some news from the Generalissimo soon. The natives are getting restless and are in need of some moral support from headquarters. It's hard to believe we're down to 32 cents with all the potential this company has. It won't stay this low for long IMO. Time to stock up on POW while the stockins good! One more downtick and I'm buyin bigtime! I pity the fool who doesn't take advantage of this bargain basement bonanza!
Thanks for backing me up on my optimistic outlook for POW, master Jack! The Dog seems to have been chasing his tail by predicting a PP at one price and then another. Dead money in this stock did go from 39 to 87 cents in little more than one giant leap not many weeks ago. And just on speculation of a major announcement! Just wait until the "big one" hits and we'll be flying to da moon faster than Neil Armstrong! This is the calm before the storm. I can't wait until we get a lightning strike or two! Stan's in his laboratory right now mixing up an elixir that will make our pinkie come back to life in a hurry! Eureka, here we come!
Stan is up to something! He's been mentioning POW a lot more in his tweets and seems to be finalizing some big production. If you add up all he's been saying, there's no doubt he's going to make some important announcement very soon. I await word from his majesty, the Generalissimo. He's been huddling with his dynamic council of elders and is about to report a happy result to his brigadiers. Time to stock up on these cheap shares. Mark my words! We'll soon be flying higher than the birds!
It was neat seeing Stan's 1 second cameo in Iron Man II the other night! He makes a pretty convincing looking Larry King. Another mega hit based on one of his creations! If just one POW-Disney movie would be one tenth as successful, our stock would in the multi-dollar range! That day will come and such a movie is well into the planning stage by now, I'm sure. We've closed with a 35 cent bid 5 of the past 7 days. It looks like we've stabilized in the mid-30s. Just one bit of good news will movie us over 40 cents and, with any big news, the sky's the limit! Come on Stan! Lay it on us and lay it on us good!
We could use a relief pitcher about now. I hope it's Long Legs Lee coming in from the bullpen with a curveball that goes POW! Maybe we could call him Disney Dean, the new Marvel of the diamond!
How Tweet it is! Maybe we'll hear more from Stan this weekend when he meets with his fans at one of the many Comic Cons he'll be attending this year. Give us the goods, Stan! Remember that you're The Man!
Is this a Twitter quote from Stan, Trend? If so, his spelling is awfully bad. It sounds like this was a made up quote that is similar to what the Generalissimo might say. I'm sure that, either way, Stan will be announcing something really big before we know it!
This pump and dump illustration is similar to the way POW has performed in the past month. How can you deny it? The difference is that Stan Lee heads this company and his ideas have generated billions of dollars for Marvel in recent years. Many of his newer projects are coming to fruition and Disney has part ownership of this enterprise. This is not your grandfather's stinkie pinkie! One big announcement and we could double in price! That's almost certain to take place very soon and Stan will have many opportunities to make such announcements at the Comic Cons he'll be attending all over the place this year. We're in the calm before the storm and the wise investor will load up on POW shares right now while the gettins good!
Aint that the truth BT! If we had a decent spread, it would encourage a lot more buying. Nobody wants to buy a stock they're losing big on the minute they buy it. The MMs had it right near the end of the trading day when the bid was 35 and the ask was 37. With that kind of spread, we could move up in a hurry! We tested at 30 today. I hope that 40 is bested tomorrow!
I can't believe we could go down to our original early January POW price of 25 cents. Too much progress has been made for that to happen in my opinion but time will tell. The true believers have taken quite a manic depressive ride during the past month! Way the heck up and way the hell down! I prefer the former and rather detest the latter. We need a bone from Stan and we need it now! Our moon launch could go the way of the soon to be obsolete space shuttle. I still say all systems go. But I'm a long term optimist.
I feel exactly the same way, BT! A lot of us must feel like idiots for not selling the bulk of our shares when POW hit the 80 cent range last month. None of us thought we'd go from 86 to 33 cents after all the potential this stock offered. There's really no logical reason for its price decline and I'm sure we'll have a good rally before long. Had I sold all my shares at 80, I sure would have reinvested every dime in POW, but probably not at this low a price. I thought that 50 cents was the absolute bottom but I sure was wrong about that! (I did reinvest rather heavily at 54 cents after selling a minority of my shares). Anyone buying now is getting a free ride to riches. Little doubt about that.
Stan's tweets have been getting bolder in tone every day. He seems to be implying that he's about ready to make some very big announcement to the brigadiers. Let's hope that is the case so POW can resume it's rocket ride to da moon and beyond! Does anybody else out there have the same sense I do about this?
How about "This is your Generalissimo speaking. Brigadiers, fasten your seat belts and prepare for takeoff-to da moon! Disney buys POW on Monday at noon!"
Nice going, Jack! Checkmate! I think that March prediction was off by about 200%. We sure didn't stay around 30 cents the next 60 days. POW almost traded at 3 times that price! I'll stick with my prediction that POW will likely trade up to at least 60 cents in the next couple months. Stan will unglue his sealed lips by then and give us a good rag to chew on. Muley and all his fellow POWsters will be on board for a lunar launch by then!
POW was trading higher on the bid side much of the afternoon compared to yesterday. It may actually have gained a penny or two on the bid today. We might have now seen the bottom since the sellers didn't dump their shares at week's end. I see us getting back to the 40s next week and quickly reaching 10 to 20 cents higher once Stan releases the news he's been more than hinting at recently. Let us have it Stan! Right in the kisser! Then to da moon, Alice!
Stan should let the cat out of the bag before he suffocates. His lips are sealed inside a cone of silence. He's now promising to inform the brigadiers of some big developments in the near future.
The future can't come soon enough for me! Stan's gotta fortify POW's stock price for his loyal legions. Like Mr. T, I pity the fool who sells his shares at this fire sale price! Buyers will fulfill all their financial desires. Where can I get a $10,000 loan? I promise to spend every cent of it getting rich on POW shares at these flea market prices!
What a lucky dog you are, Palacian! I'm trying hard to find extra funds to buy more POW shares. Anyone buying in now should see their shares double by year's end, at a minimum! I thought that 54 cents was low when I bought them there some weeks back. Now you can buy at subterranean bargain basement prices! Anyone out there who can loan me some dough at a low interest rate? It's depressing to see the stock bidding at 35 cents but it's a golden opportunity for new investors to jump in. Stan should let his 65,000 Facebook friends know that he has a company that is publicly traded on the Pinksheet exchange. We could use some self serving hype from the King of Comics to get this boat turned around fast!
I agree, Muley! It's only a matter to time before this stock heats up again. I'm as frustrated at POW's stock price as Sunday or anyone else. There's no reason we should have gone from 80 to 40 cents when we've received no news of a negative nature. All things are still in place for our trip to da moon! A few folks have split the scene to take their profits. Most of us true believers have held on to our shares and will eventually be well rewarded for doing so. Stan may be at the Disney headquarters today talking about that "big, spectacular movie" that POW is working on with Disney. When official announcements are made about that, we'll fly from 40 to 90 faster than a Corvette goes from 0 to 50! Keep the faith, my fellow POWsters. The force is with us! Don't let the Darth Vaders of the world scare you one bit.
I can see a concerted effort by some posters to scare the hell out of POW's investors, even the true believers, if that's possible. Today is the first time that POW has closed under 40 cents in well over 2 months. The world isn't coming to an end for this company's stockholders! POW could double in price with any number of positive developements that are now in the works but not yet announced. Yes, we could see a further decline in POW's stock price but I have no doubt we'll see it in the 50 to 70 cent range by year's end, even without a killer PR to spark investor interest in the company. Stan has many comic con appearances scheduled and will surely have great things to say about progress he's making with his new creations. Anyone selling now is just a foolish sucker playing into the hands of the doomsday cartel artists who want to buy POW shares on the cheap. Don't be a chump and fall for the negative nannies who are doing their best to collapse the price of our stock! If old Uncle Highpockets ever dies and leaves me a fortune, I'm loading up on POW shares with every dollar in my bank account!
Thanks for reassuring me, Jack! I knew you were keeping the faith.
No time to turn back now! POW is a blockbuster stock in waiting. Owning it is a great prosperity insurance policy. I'm in Hawaii right now at Wakiki. Following the action from a hotel computer. Surfs up. Time to ride the next wave to riches! GLTA, aloha and goodbye for now.
You can't mean that Jack. Tell me you still have faith in POW and Stan the Man. I'm frustrated too but there's just too much good news to keep this stock down much longer. I'd still buy a second boatload of POW shares if I had the money. Why don't those in the know put a few bucks into this thing? A mystery to me!
I sure hope we break 50 this week! Maybe the MMs will move the bid up a decent amount so investors won't have to stretch so far to slap the ask. I think that a POW-Disney movie will be announced fairly soon. We should have a release date long before 2012. Most everything should be in place by now to begin filming at least one of the promised 3 movies. Stan could announce this at the July San Diego Comic Con. I bet he's just itching to let the cat out of the bag! I taught I saw a puddy cat with him at the Vegas award show. Maybe it was just a Playboy bunny and I got the two confused with each other! LOL!
Kudos to you, Moose! You've earned your antlers. Because of you, we racked up a pretty good day at the market! I hope this gives us momentum going into Monday. Stan might give us something to tweet about after his trip to the Vegas Strip. Let's send him a POW hat to wear at his next Comic Con. I'd even pay for it if someone could sneak it onto his nightstand. He could wear it the next day while eating his continental breakfast with his Disney sidekicks.
Good job, Dealer! It looks good to see the high of the day near 50 cents. Now if we can only close the gap. The last trade was just 43 with a 49 ask. The MMs are up to their usual monkey business. We need some of those guys honoring Stan in Vegas to buy a few hundred thousand lots of POW. He has so many friends and admirers. If only more of them knew about this fantastic pinkie! We'd be way past da moon by now!
We need people like Gil to Champion our cause! What kind of a rooster doesn't crow when he has something to crow about? Sounds like a chicken to me. We'll have to get Stan to henpeck him until he promotes POW as well as we do as the loyal Brigadiers!
