Given the company indicates they are still being told they are a "contender", there is hope they will make it to the shelves at some point in time.
Given Winning Brands is sold by both of these retailers either in store and/or on-line...a bit of news for them both. Given the economy and predicted outlook..no surprise here.

Lowe’s Cos. shares saw their biggest decline since August 2009 on Monday as the No. 2 U.S. home-improvement retailer said sales trends slowed toward the end of the first quarter and management cut its outlook for the year.
Looking at some reviews this am and found this. I haven't seen this before. Quite something given it was an oil-based product that got on the skirt.
These Before and After pictures were taken in our office during the preparation of sample trays for the 1000+ Stain Remover product demonstrators. The white mark on the skirt was some “serious stuff” - oil-based primer/sealer! What made the mess particularly distressing is that the primer was white and the skirt dark gray.
1000+ Stain Remover saved the day and the skirt!
I tried to find out what else is required as it seemed like it was too easy but to no avail. I agree..there has to be more to it than the website eludes to.
I thought it was funny how much easier it is in Canada as opposed to all of the red tape here in the states. They always make things so much more complicated than they have to be south of the border!
Enjoy your weekend Tib!
I was curious about how Canada goes about their process with introducing/getting products in to the military so Google led me here...

Under FAQ....

After looking at everything...you have a valid point. I didn't take the time to think about that..just posted. My mistake. The school thing still has me shaking my head but to a point made by another poster...if they are advertising all over the area..why is the connection not being made? That part...not sure what the answer is.
Have a great weekend.
Good morning! After listening to this two times this am...just a few comments. This is by far the best the CEO has sounded..ever. IMO His inflection in his voice and the hint of being slightly upbeat..HUGE DIFFERENCE in how things come across. That is a big deal to the listener and it seems he has been working on that. Good for him.
His explanations are short and to the point. He makes no promises or puts no real time frame on anything. Great job! That is been a real sticking point for myself and others. Truly appreciated and I hope it gives the company some relief in knowing they aren't fighting a self-imposed deadline. It may not make some shareholders happy but it is a smart and responsible business decision.
If the company is able to find financing that doesn't include a RS and as stated in the message from the company...the current shareholders will be able to get their investment back... I will be one ELATED woman!
That is all I have wanted....for a couple of years now.
Have a great weekend everyone!
That base is only 15 minutes from the office? Good grief. This just keeps getting better and better.
I agree with those who understand that if the 504 dumpage would stop...this thing has a chance. Just not seeing that happen any time soon.
I have learned over time that when you see volume like that and the pps doesn't move...only one reason for that. Days of no 504 show that no one is interested here except those that know they can get a good discount share price and there will be some sort of support so they can dump it. IMO
Enjoy your evening!
I am sure you're right. I do wonder though...what prompts a "504" representative to buy shares? Is it based on "hey we are gonna have this news coming" or is it "well, this might happen" or how do they know they will be able to sell them when they buy them? They must get one heck of a discount at this level.
As always... perfect timing on a PR!
So we'll see how this story continues to play out over the next few months and whether or not any miracle friendly financing really hits or any full scale national roll outs with any american big box retailers arrive in time to save the remaining original crop of core longs still holding.
So imo wnbd can't be faulted for the marketing/branding penetration endeavors in their hometown...it's just a case of how tough it is to compete with the branding power of the big boys in the space wnbd has been trying to gain traction in over the past 6 years when grade school teachers in wnbd's hometown still haven't heard of or tried the product even if they've seen it advertised around town or sitting on the shelves of all the local retailers both big and small who carry it...it hasn't registered with them enough to try it or to cause them to switch from the bigger branded products.
Well it surprises/disappoints the crap out of me. I would think it wouldn't cost much to advertise on foot/driving around your town and handing out samples or whatever works for them. Sales are sales whether your home town or across the world.
How much effort and money do you think it would take to let your entire town, then the joining towns know what an amazing product you make, distribute etc..? I would guess whatever it is...would pay off much faster than shipping a pallet to some far off place in hopes someone will sell it for you. There has to be a good deal of energy and focus following up with that, trying to keep the product out in front of people, make sure your rep there is a good one and doing what they are assigned to do etc...
The enthusiasm this company has for their product is clear and could best be shown locally and then spread from there. The fact they haven't inundated their local neighborhoods makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. IMO
Maybe we will, once again, agree to disagree.
Oh doog.... stop "distorting" what the company says! Notice how it's always someone else's fault things get "distorted", don't happen when predicted etc... Maybe the blog is not such a good idea. lol
I propose they take a map of their home town and draw a 5 mile radius around the office. Then go out 10 miles and etc...Go tell your own home town people about your product! Maybe they could have more billboards around their city with testimonials from Ghana and elsewhere around the globe to let hometown folks know what a gold mine they have right under their nose!
Silly me... probably a bad idea.
Have a great Thursday sir!
In penny stocks you don't invest in a company because it has nothing to start with. You invest in the CEO and his plan and aspirations to be successful in building wealth for all shareholders.
His "tit for tat" blogs with the other side does not serve him well and reeks of a lack of the qualities that makes a good CEO......Statesmanship, Character, and Leadership
And the X shareholders you refer to most likely lost money here and have every right to be disgruntled and post their displeasure with the performance of this ceo that they invested in......jmho
In summary, international business development has so far cost the company very little
I haven't done enough dd yet on how lines of credit are used and the rules typically surrounding them. I have watched other pinks just like this one go through "financing"...it never has a happy ending for shareholders.
There is no such thing as "friendly financing" at this level. With the ugly loss and sales numbers in the most recent filing...one can only hope that financiers have the same vision of "possibilities" the company does.
Enjoy your evening!
And the Q finally revealed that the contemplated new funding they're seeking is in fact some form of line of credit...but all potential new financiers need collateral and lots of it...and down in the low triple zeros with over 4B outstanding on a 5B authorized count the remaining funding and collateral options possible make for some very ugly ingredients.
how do you squeeze play new floods of 504 shares?
Great question! lol
Good morning!
School is just 3 miles from Eric's Office,
Yes it is. I had hoped to see a better outlook in this filing. Not so much.
From company website....
WBC has designed its business plan to pass through 6 Phases. These phases are not based on the calendar, but rather on business developments; Initial Operations Phase (Annual Sales less than $1 Million), Implementation Phase (Annual Sales of $1 Million to $3 Million), Growth Phase (Annual Sales of $3 Million to $5 Million), Self-Sustaining Phase (Sales between $5-50 Million), Established Phase (Sales between $50 Million and $100 Million), World Phase (Sales over $100 Million).
The Implementation Phase for WBC is now targeted for 2012 as U.S. activities pick-up.
In the opinion of management with current infrastructure, if debt were repaired or converted to equity, approximately $2,500,000 - 3,000,000 in sales at 40% gross margin would be required for the company to achieve reliable self-sufficiency.
After a quick read here are a few things I jotted down...
-Financing line of credit - if it happens it won't happen till maybe Q2 or Q3.
-33% in "reduced costs" -
The savings of $111,733. is primarily due to the result of reduced outlays in advertising and promotion, facility and storage costs, management and staff compensation , relocation costs, vehicle and travel.
In the opinion of management with current infrastructure, if debt were repaired or converted to equity, approximately $2,500,000 - 3,000,000 in sales at 40% gross margin would be required for the company to achieve reliable self-sufficiency.
What are we anyways a week or so away from the magical projected "90 days to new financing" window?
I don’t post most testimonials that we receive - this weblog is for the purpose of addressing operational matters of interest to shareholders with a greater emphasis on business issues. However, there are occasionally items that illustrate the breadth of uses for which Winning Colours Stain Remover can be put that does in fact become a “business issue”.
Great post. Have to laugh that even those close still dont know about it! LOL! Truly makes one wonder what is really going on.
give 1000+ to someone that knows how to market a product.... this would be a whole different ball game so to speak.
Hey biz! 1st quarter numbers are due today. As far as the OS...no one knows for sure at this moment and how many outlets...I don't believe the company has released an official number recently.
how many shares are outstanding does anyone know
how many outlets are the products sold at
one stray dog
As I said ...I hope they realize by now that money spent gallivanting around the world would have been better spent focusing in Canada/US. They may think it was the best thing they did. I would say their fins and the chart says differently.
I believe they would have hit about phase 4 or 5 by now had they stayed more "local".
I believe the company realizes the mistake of going "world-wide" instead of focusing closer to home. I hope they do at least.
If they get this financing and are able to stay above water....advertising better be top on their list of priorities and their better be one heck of a budget number attached to it.
Well then you know that when us country folk find something that works and cost very little...we are faithful.
The issues here are not about whether WC works well or not. That part the company has succeeded at already. It's the rest of it they seem to be having trouble getting together.
2012 1st. quarter numbers tomorrow hopefully. Lots of people praying for awesome numbers!
GLTA
They are "pounding the so called pavement" only it's over in Zimbabwe or some small island store off the coast of Taiwan. lol
I use it because it works. People around here use it because it works...period. There are other products out there at the local pet store or the vets office but why spend the money if you already have something that works just fine? lol
Honey... I have used that combo on my dogs. I live in the country and that is a common treatment out here. It's cheap and effective.
I have never said any product cleans all the things WC does.
Great post! You clearly know the history here. lol
Come on! Something smells skunky. And for that you can use...
1 Qt 3% hydrogen peroxide 1/4 cup baking soda 1 tsp. liquid soap since so many outside of Ihub don't know about 1000+.
Actually there are a number of harsh cleaning products that can remove permanent marker off of certain surfaces, but I'm not sure many parents would be willing to use them on their children's skin.
The thing is... if you're gonna blog about WC...blog about it doing something NO OTHER CLEANER CAN DO! For pete's sake...is it that hard to understand? No one is gonna give it a second thought or look if it's just an ordinary use or something other cleaners can do.
A blog is used by CEO's to tell shareholders or anyone else peeking in current and major events happening with the company....not continual patting themselves on the back for something that is truly no big deal. Seems a bit "we don't have anything to say so throw this in there". IMO
There are plenty of testimonials. I know there are quite a few shareholders who made sure of that. The testimonials are fine but those can be found under any search, any place the product is sold on line etc... Putting them in the company blog is redundant and a waste of company and reader time. IMO
I KNOW YOU WISH THEM THE BEST!
