ain't that nice?!...and you know what they say about the last hour...
it's a terrible job... ;)
did you know i have been holding this??...i'm underwater on it, so this is welcomed news!...thx bags!
VMW and JEC moving on pre-fedspeak...even that little AVNX...
ultrashorts are in decline...
looks like the market is in limbo until burn-necky pops off...
well evidently it wasn't good enough, but i don't see anyone jumping off the cliff yet...but be careful and protect if need be.
a chart always indicates something...but that's a good question when you don't know.
i don't see that far back on my weekly, but it is interesting that from 2006 thru may of 2007, that the price never exceeded it and from may 2007, until recently, the price never went below it...
that is a dangerous question, but for fear of being flamed, i will just say no...i haven't... :) but i need to find out what the difference is between candles and colored bars...
hey bags...VMW up to 81.50ah...that's over a 1m bucks based on 13,900 shares...maybe it'll challenge the upper trend at 84 and perhaps reach about 95 by the time the earnings come out...then again maybe not...lol...
mattie...on your weekly view, edit the 10ma to 30Ema and place an offset at 3....interesting historical placement of top and bottoms....
thanx mikl...there is one piece of information that was revealed which speaks a lot, imo...
>>To clarify one point: we have executed an agreement that provides Beacon with an *option* to buy the property in Stephentown NY. Once we have the necessary approvals to build a plant on the site, we will exercise the option.<<
if they follow suit with what they have always done historically, they will pay for that in shares.
AND
>>In our view (and we respect the right of some to disagree), having an option to buy a parcel of land as part of an overall process that is still under way is a minor piece of news that in and of itself does not warrant a press release. I hope you understand this position.<<
so he doesn't think it's prudent to advise investors of events that may impact the share value??
as you can tell, i don't hold a lot of regard for IRspeak, because in reality we are #3 or 4 or 5 to find out...
thanks for your effort, it's appreciated.
he told me that it's bcon's policy to keep "some" (some meaning the little fish like us) investors in the dark about any progress made until it becomes an event...that was in response to me asking why i have to find out from no_fud, via a newspaper article, about developments that weren't announced. it's the mushroom policy. it's irresponsible that they assume no accountability to shareholders.
i think the technology is great, the efficacy is proven, accepted and they have many irons in the fire...
APPLAUSE!!!
we are going to have some fun now!!!
mattie...crayola is adding lines or notation to the chart...this can be done with the "paint program" standard on all PCs...i do not know what Mac calls it...
you shouldn't need to login in, i never do...are you sure its
www.imageshack.us?...(not dot com)
mattie, where are you trying to post charts from? how can i help?
dude, and i thought you were the Grip Ripe anchor man!...always bringing back the ones that i forget about!...lol
what an opportunity, ey?
i like being early to the party...78 would have been a perfect fill if it hadn't been for the skitzos running for cover...i forced the issue and doubled up just over 72, so right now it's the bees knees...
JEC responded well to the lower trend...
even AVNX is holding up...threw that out for the section 8...lol
it's days like these that build trading character!
if hunt doesn't pony up it's possible to see a dip to 1.15 with a close over 1.20...the resistance you see on the monthly at 1.20 should become the support...however, being that bcon is an emerging growth issue, it is less reliable for long term trending...though the weekly and daily support it, short of a material event...
hasn't it though?...a multi billion dollar company fire sale! have you checked the lower trend on the weekly?
why?...was it the current bid support at 1.40? i don't see anything compelling on the chart...
so i take it you didn't buy SRS when everyone started jumping off the cliff? up $20 in four days...that's a nice position.
AVNX is getting some attention...may be a pivot here..in @ 86c.
so how do you like that candle spread between the support and resistance on JEC?
good mornin...it is looking good...would be a buy above 9.15...seems that 9 has been a point of resistance for it for a while...
also JEC looking attractive here on the turn...keep an eye on it...
***2 minutes later...i'm in at 85.
what's that swirling sound??
you have a short memory...must have been one of your compulsive moments. we are.
well you don't need it, making a living trading bcon 4 or 5 times a day and all that, do you. lol
when you see congestion with higher lows sitting above the breakout of the downtrend, it may be signaling for another leg up...lower studies are at decent elevations even though williams and Sto would indicate overbought, they can paint that for a while, it is not an absolute sell just because they are high...but this market is puttin the squish on fundamentally and technically sound trades! whiplash anybody?
becareful out there, frigen slippery!
lol...i love the dedication!...even though you aren't that familiar with candles, put your charts in candles if they aren't already...start looking for areas of congestion and see if you can find where those areas become either barriers or support for price throughout the chart...this is where you begin to draw other than trendlines...better get your crayons out!
yes to the second inquiry...put the bag out on the hook and wait for the train to pick it up along the way....when placing your stop limit, have your activation set a few cents under your buy limit to add some purchasing cushion...
if you don't have the tools and the indicators to support a decision, then don't worry about catching the low...you can always just get out in front of it and wait for it to come to you on good volume...it's the old logic of "will i care if i miss twobits if it's going to run two bucks?"...let the train run you over...
well even fundamentally i wouldn't want to trade a stock that moves 4c on 6.8 million shares... ~ pass ~
if one is going to be technically confident with an entry into a seemingly bullish trade, to turn the chart over should produce the same confidence if the trade was bearish...and vice versa...
it's a sounding board...
it's the return ping on a sonar signal...
i tried that once, but it took weeks to untangle the cables and re-orient my monitors...i should have just hung upside down from the ceiling...
that's good docspeak about thinking in the inverse...he makes it sound so natural and easy...most of us will try to make it complicated...
my2bitz
thx!
that makes sense...i don't like having to scan 5 segments either...but i should probby come up with a herd and then thin them from there...i would like to see your 1974 and start hacking it this week...
what this i'm hearing about iranian gunboats teasing the US war ships in the gulf?? if that turns nasty it will get much, much worse for everybody...
even though it blew thru the 78 i was sitting on, the 72 was the next logical pivot forming a dbl bottom on both the weekly and the daily...
VMW is the best in class and is well entrenched already with it's customers...even if we go into a recession, VMW is about cost reduction so corporations will seek it out to reduce their overhead...and their earnings are due out on the 28th i think, so it should be up from here...
but it is one slippery fish!
thx mattie...i am fully aware of all the features...when i assemble the syntax i am combining STO, ADX, DMI, Histo, Price, Time, etc, to narrow the yield to what i am looking for, for the given structure, so i don't get 1974 stocks back...i just want a few really nice ones...but much of the time get nothing back probby cause i am over qualifying...that's why i asked about assembly, thought that may be the issue...i do know that when the pattern tool is released i won't need to write the syntax because you can build the patterns over varying time frames...too cool!...have you reviewed that demo?
thanx mattie...all that does is confirm what gene stated in his reply to me (posted here a week or two ago) where he states it's bcon's policy to keep investors in the dark until something happens, they don't believe in keeping their investors updated as progress or intentions unfold...their IR sux, plain and simple....
