Interesting article: Electronic Medical Records Use May Rise
Nov 19, 5:35 PM (ET)
http://apnews1.iwon.com//article/20061119/D8LGDOC81.html
key statement: "On Oct. 6, however, federal officials established exceptions to those laws that would cover medical record system donations, albeit with a host of conditions. For example, computer systems that are donated must be able to talk and interact with other health care computer systems around the country - a protection against hospitals using their donations to deter competition.
This will help open up the avenue of individuals carrying their own medical history and have confidence that any hospital or physician will be able to read their medical data off their medical Cyberkey!
Great job, guys. Wish I had the extra to help! That green is sure dam_ pretty!
thanks all. I knew the initial pps for listing was high, then many stocks settle back down.
RCP: doesn't a company have to maintain $4 per share for the Nasdaq NM? thanks
Catty: thanks, guess it's back to yahoo til the new PR firm is announced. HISC HQ must be very shorthanded to not be able to perform minimal IR responses.
Wayne: just wanted to know if I was the only one dropped. My
understanding from BA is that they upload a new email list every time they do a PR from any company. Over the past 18 months, I've been dropped periodically. thanks
Wayne, are you getting news from email notification? If so, from whom? Once BA was done, my emails stopped. After 2 emails to HISC, still no response. thanks
Rocket, I've been involved in and around the construction industry for 30 years, and it's negative reputation is absolutely deserved. When I first heard about SLJB and did my DD, I just roared with laughter. Sorry about all the folks that took a hit in the past 2 days, but for me to buy into a construction related stock will be a cold day in h.e. double sticks!
Catty, my experience with BA is like everybody's, but I jumped into CKYS last August after following for 8 months, the DD was just too appealling. Luckily, I'm now B/E for my total HISC and CKYS investment combined just on CKYS. Has tempered my disappointment in HISC. Still hold 7 figures HISC and will stick in the back of the drawer for a couple of years.
BTW, the Port of Tampa was a valid test as friends/business asso I trust told me in Feb 05. I was in commercial RE in Tampa for 15 years.
tmcc & Birds, I too feel that a divy is a great way to burn the shorts, but with limited info available to specifically verify short levels, for a company with profits but limited cash, there are better areas to spend the cash. This was my gut feeling and why I asked, verified by Rocket & Jersey.
My goals are long term with CKYS, no specific price exit until we have 6-8 qtrs history. GLTY
Rockets or Jersey, assuming AFs numbers are close to unauditeds, do you feel AFs + successful uplist will be sufficient to garner big boys attention to achieve pps at real value? thanks guys
Jersey, Even with the cash flow of another $25 mil contract?
RE: divy scenario - 1/2- to 1¢ per share divy mid to late 1st qtr following major new substantial contract and uplist to BB would really get the smart money attention. Comments? JMHO
Congratulations RocketStocks on your new board. I don't post much as I'm relatively new to pennies. Have monitored HISC since last May after buying in 7 figures following a friends inside recommendation and my own DD til it imploded; followed CKYS since early last spring and felt late August was a good entry & now am in 7 figures. I've traded many years, but like what I see with pennies and would like to learn much more. You and a handful of others post solid DD and give me many leads to followup.
My attitude is primarily long with possibly some minimal flipping to increase share base, but need to learn when the proper time to flip based on high percentage technical data. Fundys simply verify my interest. Thanks.
Yes, Ward, Dale told me he was not aware of any BA debt re: EVSY.
I asked about the SEC filings, he said he was not aware. Typical of past conversations with BA personnel, they are either out of the loop regarding reality or are being told to bend the truth.
FYI: just talked with "Dale" @ BA regarding another company issue. Once completed, I asked if BA had ANY relationship with HISC. "No". EVSY "No". How about Management Solutions with HISC or EVSY? "No" What about the large note BA holds on EVSY? "No knowledge of any loan". FWIW
Good work, Wallstreet. But life - no way. How about hang em at high noon!
For those interested, check out the Nov 13 issue of Forbes Mag, on p. 138 there is a lengthy article regarding Rudy Giuliani and his company. No specific mention about HISC, but some pennies are discussed. If you read between the lines, may give an indication why we never heard anything about Mr. RG.
IMO: his fee was so high HISC balked. Does anyone know specifically how HISC was recommended to Mr. RG? Have a good weekend.
Question to you younger tech heads out there: Since some folks feel we are close to falling behind in our technology, do you think the CT is compatible with Intels new duo core chip and if so, any advantage for the CT versus our competition? Thanks for your thoughts
Jck, I'd be thrilled & shocked if EVSY will be worth .25 in a year. Maybe Mr. Wicks will surprise us!
1 share EVSY = less than 1 piece of penny bubblegum !! Do they still have penny gum?
Spencer, FWIW, I called my Scottrade broker last Monday & asked when, he didn't know & said he'd find out. Called me back about 20 minutes later, said he'd called St. Louis HQ and they said 3-5 days AFTER the pay date, which takes us into Mon or Tues next. Have a good weekend.
RedCloud, I'm on both sides of the fence. Good management always leaves themselves an open door. But knowing the history of BA, I'm sure they don't hesitate to make sure CYA is in play. Thanks
RE: todays PR wording, like "up to", "within" - sounds more like BA than Mr. Plant.
Rocket - great post re: usb in cars. Now hook in a CyberTracker from HISC and yer cookin' !
Birds, no firm data. I tend not to call CEO's, auditors, etc as I'm very skeptical and tend to take what they say with a grain of salt. But addressing what's been posted previously, just noting that the folks who think AFs will be out "soon" have a bit of a wait. Also lends credence to Rockets comment about "soon" being 1-2 months as acceptable.
Talk is cheap...SEC filings are the final word for me.
All: put the AF release in the proper time frame, as Jersey has stated many times. Mr. Plant supposedly stated Sep 25 it would be "a couple of weeks". Two weeks later (Oct 9)GreenTree received the data from CKYS and stated 2-4 weeks for completion. Assuming 4 weeks, that takes us to Nov 6. Add 1 & likely 2 weeks for "mailing & review" by Plant & Co and we are now at a realistic release date of Nov 20, just like Jersey estimated.
Looks to me like the trend has started and todays close may be the springboard. Thanks for the charts - good eye.
Rocket - 1st step up of a long term stair step upwards?
Oohh...that's not good. Sounded too good to be true. I'm happy at Scottrade.
Spencer, check out zecco.com: 10 free trades per day up to 40 per mo then only $3.50 per trade; minimum $2500 to open account.
New brokerage since Jul 06. I don't trade with them, just heard about them last week. Hope you're still not mad at me for expressing my opinion.
Spencer, I have been monitoring this board since May 06 and yes, I do know the RS has been beat to death, and yes, I have read CEO Wicks letter (multiple times). But that was eons ago, and things change. His letter was written when he took the reins, and now his honeymoon is over and he knows specifically what he needs to do to make this company succeed. At this stage, nothing is off the table.
In all the years I've been trading, I've never seen a company successfully pull out from our situation. Hope I am very wrong, but percentages speak a different story. Appreciate your "benefit of the doubt", but in the past 5+ months, I've noticed you tend to be a bit quick with the trigger finger in judging posters.
I've been a long much longer than you and probably know more about this company and its history.
Jersey, that's what I've been thinking for a week now. Would be just a good business decision IMO; conserve cash for new EVSY placements. If you've doubled your position, you'll be sitting pretty in a year or two, both on HISC and EVSY.
Capt - good info on the 80%. I've been trying to find out and getting nowhere. And IMO - which is about all we all have these days - if BA is locked in with HISC on the EVSY situation, then
BA must be bringing something to the table and is confident enough in HISC management to add EVSY to their mistress stable.
With all the clients BA has, they are likely selling other stocks to pay operating expenses, and keeping those stocks that have the most potential in the 1-3 year time frame. I feel HISC is one.
Opinion is good only when supported by factual and verifiable DD.
Nosey, I tend to agree with you on the 1:100 RS, but my take is a bit different. I've been a substantial long since Jan 04 so I've patient. But this last downturn over the past couple weeks has me wondering.
Here's my take: a 2nd company will be put in the EVSY shell and like Telecent, will likely be minimally profitable. HISC will then do a token buyback, maybe some retirement too and keep up with some smaller sales PR's. Then when a large contract or a buyout appears imminent, we will see the 1:100 RS and HISC will be rolled into EVSY, which will then become Global whatever. Next will be the big contract announcement.
I'm holding long and trying mightily to be positive and patient, but all the horse barn doors are closely rapidly for us to pull out of this downward spiral and still have a company left.
I'm definitely in the group that has tried to obtain info from our "Investor Relations" rep BA - they definitely are tight lipped and rude. But HISC management (and for that matter, CKYS's management) have to know something we don't to continue to keep BA as their IR group with all the negative feelings from us "owners". But management is fully aware of the current and historical PPS, and I believe they are working a plan that
needs to be closely held until lock down solid. I think loose lips (read Mr. Billboard) killed the Actsoft deal. I've a friend in Tampa who has heard the same rumor.
In any case, I really do appreciate the solid DD from the top 25% of posters here; they help verify my own research DD. It's the other 75% that try my patience. That said, I'm back to my lurking corner.
Thanks for the heads up, Emilson, but have already checked out the satellite systems. If you read their fine print, they discourage stock traders from using satellite as their primary access. Also, the local sat. dealers strongly suggest against for trading due to undependability. And lastly, I've a close friend in the same situation and she has DirectTV. It's absolutely horrible, actually less dependable than my two ISP accounts/two phone line system.
I also have satellite TV (Dish) and every time it rains or there is a heavy moisture laden fog, it disappears. I'm selling this house so problem will be resolved soon. Thanks again.
Now if the CKYS pps would just reflect their true value, I could install a T-1! hehe
Thank you, Spencer, for the reminder. I am one who due to my mountain location, am limited to dialup only. Drives me nuts waiting to sift through so many garbage posts.
I'm a 7 figure long and in for the duration.
Minddoc7: I appreciate all your hard work and numerous finds. Our CT seems to be far superior to all these other products, yet we don't get large orders. Leads me to think that all our "govco" connections from last year have vanished. We are battling the
"who you know" syndrome and we don't seem to know anybody.
You are right on the money, Plane - That's exactly why I stay in the background as a freebie. Maybe 2 or 3 posts out of 100 are worthwhile. The rest are unbelievably juvenile. Hope & conjecture do not make for a good trader.
Naik, I can directly relate - same feelings here. I can add a friend with the Port of Tampa first made me aware in Jan 2004. By Dec 05 it appeared all stars were coming into alignment with much solid potential being PR'd. Then suuurprise, suuurprise, we all got snookered by Mr. Billboard. I kept adding and adding and am now averaged @ .029 but that seems light years away right now.
Hopefully, my belief that the product is top drawer and that the Middle East is our saviour will bring us back to green. Keep the faith.
