Everyone is tired of the manipulation of this POS. Not sure I would buy back into DSS even at .20, Patent litigation is dead. Management is not smart enough to focus on core business. When is the last time anyone heard about authentigard or any progress on anti fraud products.
Insiders did not buy during the available period. They know about the manipulation...IMO, whatever or whomever is manipulating DSS should be investigated. Giovanni was right, I would buy again at .20
Based on todays trading, I like my theory better. Share price manipulation.
I dont buy that. What has caused the share price spike? Is it more manipulation? Ive thought all along someone is behind the scenes pulling the strings on this. The remarkable drop and rise dont add up.
As much as it pains me to say it. Giovanni was right. I think this goes to .20 or lower. Last guy out the door, turn the lights out. I think this upcoming conference call is a waste of time. DSS Management has no plan to stop the bleeding and there is no material event in the near future. So what are they going to talk about? Hopefully their resignations and sale of the company.
Your post 4667
Cause I like to Buy LOW and Sell HIGH
On October 31, 2014, David Klein resigned as a member of the Board of Directors of Document Security Systems, Inc. (the “Company”). Mr. Klein’s resignation was not related to any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to its operations, policies or practices.
I wonder what the Conference call on the 13th will be like. It will probably be another monotone, non inspiring and scripted affair. Ive envisioned it being like the band playing on the Titanic. Share price could be below .40 by then.
Let me just say this, I know I will take some flak for this. But the common sentiment is probably that if DSS cannot prevail over Coupons, how are they going to take on Apple/Facebook. I realize that the coupons case was not patent related. Just saying. I hope Ben prevails and forces the management of DSS to resign.
All companies have slow periods it doesn't mean that the price has to fall
You are correct the price doesnt have to fall but in our case it has, in excess of 80 percent or more for some. And that is not a result of any sentiment on an IHUB board, that is pure DSS mismanagement.
So when DSS decides to stop wasting money buying patents the market will give them a higher valuation. Spending profits to buy patents that yield zero doesn't make people want to invest in that space. Would you??
So why are you continuing to buy?
I first invested in DSS in Feb 2014. The only material event I recall of any consequence was having Ronaldi on Fox television to demonstrate Authentigard.
Everything else was, wait for this catalyst or that. In the end the much awaited legal proceedings have been delayed minus Coupons. I really do not see anything to prevent DSS from this daily share price free fall. It is a shame, I really felt this company had tremendous potential.
A few meaningful PR's couldve stabilized this above a dollar. The Isle of Man licensing contract for one. What ever happened to signing Pat McInally former NFL player to hype authentigard? As Ive said before either the product is not that good or the company is not marketing it correctly. I tend to believe the latter.
Yep, you are correct, the bottom is in. That is until the closing bell for today rings.
I would imagine by then we would be looking at or below .20 There is nothing to stop the free fall.
Its the same guy. You may be confused by my post. I referenced Ben when talking about a litigation home run, not about selling shares. I sold almost all of my shares, I would suppose Ben is still buying?
No PM. The reference to Ben was gleaned from one of his public posts on this board.
DSS Management does not understand the importance of the legacy business, they're to busy trying to hit a litigation "homerun", as ben puts it. Ive dumped almost all of my shares today at a 50 percent loss, thats after averaging down considerably trying to find the "bottom". Ive concluded 2 things: Management will not adapt to save this company and there is no bottom.
In my mind it is incumbent on management to PR any news on the legacy side of the business, while we wait out these court decisions. The legacy business not only partially funds the IP monetization but with proper PR management can keep the share price from drifting so far south as we await these long drawn out legal proceedings.
I guess my point is, what good is a win in the coupons case, if the share price is at .50, sure we will see a bump but Im betting everyone's average is well north of a dollar.
Not meant to be negative, just my opinion.
I would not assume all the possible bad news is "baked in", to the current share price. If I believed that I would be buying with a vengance. The share price has drifted south for months on no news. If the Coupons decision came out tomorrow against DSS, we would be looking at new lows.
Im a frustrated long, and all this is IMO.
Concur.
Really, a Markman hearing in March next year? If that is the best news available I would agree with the .20 prediction.
First off, appreciate your taking the time for the CC. I was a little dismayed by some of the COO reactions to your questions and suggestions. Whether DSS disregards all of the share holder concerns or not, the market has spoken, they will either adjust or continue the downward spiral.
My position is not nearly as large as some, yet I am hesitant to add more as I have been trying to find the bottom since Feb.
At a minimum in my opinion the 7 million share retirement and the UK driver license deal shouldve been PR'd.
DSS appears to be unique in that it has great potential with management standing in the way.
Ive heard some talk about S/P manipulation if it is happening I do not think the insiders at DSS are involved, otherwise they would be snapping up every available share ahead of the Coupons decision.
Ive exhausted alot of dry powder trying to find the bottom since February 2014. The only positive news I can think of in that 8 month period is the Fox news interview, and that really did very little for the SP.
I am beginning to wonder if these company officers are sitting back waiting for a favorable decision while eating up the meager company earnings with their salary?
What happened to Pat whatever his name is, the former punter for the Cincinnati Bengals?
Im bleeding like everyone else. The company cannot do anything about the courts, they can however do something concerning the legacy anti counterfeiting business, which is either not going well, or they dont deem it PR worthy.
Ronaldi apparently does not get the message: "YOU ARE A PENNY STOCK, PR EVERYTHING". LONG SILENT PERIODS = SHARE PRICE DISASTER!
The Telcon this week was a complete failure as it was a regurgitation of the same old news.
Well we are slightly below our 52 week low. My problem, which Im sure is everyone else's is trying to find the bottom. Ive already burned through alot of cash trying to average down.
Not sure the Warren Buffet advice of "buy when there is blood in the streets", applies here. Im still optimistic for the long haul, just didnt see this coming.
Anyone else aside from me have thoughts of having a shareholder/company phonecon? I know the company is not generating enough revenue to pay all those salaries that were voted on a few months ago.
Although the news was not exceptionally good, at least DSS is putting out some info. The lack of news gradually sinks the share price, as we have seen over the last 6 months.
I also think someone is very heavily manipulating this S/P. Wish I could prove it.
Also after hours DSS .97
I really wish the company or the PR group it hired would do a better job of communicating with shareholders and potential shareholders.
Ive been here for less than a year but I dont recall seeing any PR's that could be construed as great PR's designed to promote the company and its products, most are purely informational such as DSS will be presenting at XXX forum, the quarterly reports are out, or an announcement of additional litigation(s) which Im not certain will give us a boost. With some recent court developments everyone now better understands the uncertainty surrounding any IP litigation.
We barely hear anything about the legacy side of the company. What is going on with Authentiguard and the other antifraud components? In my mind either companies feel they don't need them or someone is doing a very poor job of advertising the potential, I tend to believe the latter.
Just venting frustration.
Really, can you explain that to me how did you come by that information? Do you know FINRA's role?
I would guess 2 months max, could be as soon as 1 Oct. Frankie is starting to accelerate his exit plan. He knows he cannot provide audited fins.
No, the selling occurred because this is a pinksheet scam that was never meant to succeed.
Most of those posts are either defending this scam, (I particularly liked the one blaming investors for the share price drop for selling out due to panic) or for the millionth time someone asking about the worthless divy. Word to the wise in pinkland investor=bagholder.
They all know what is coming, no one wants to say it. TZ's.
Your sense of humor will come in handy as this scam unravels.
Weren't you the guy that supposedly made his "last post", several times? And how do you know if Im invested? Maybe Im one of your dreaded flippers?
I usually post about 4 or 5 times a week. That is hardly "living on the board".
Does your life revolve around this board? You seem to take opposing positions with every other post.
