Another reson not to uplist is to avoid having to do a RS to meet the necessary pps. JMO
THANKS !!
Does that mean that the process will go alot quicker? By the sound of it,I would think it would be easier to add to a NI report than to redo another one.
I cant believe so many people are second guessing Scott and suggesting giving him advice. As a long, I am investing more in Scott than I am in the niobium thats in the ground. Scott is putting his life, carreer, and reputation into this property, while we are just putting some money that we chose to invest (of course for many of us it could be a life changer). The fact that this is taking so long helps me to understand how many of the other mining companies are just pump and dump scams. Since I am not a professional in the mining sector,I am using Scott as a benchmark for the method to follow to build a successful company and in turn a good investment. I think Scott is in the same position as a parent who has a future sports star (Michael Jordan,Tyger Woods,etc...). I am sure they had many sponsors knocking at their door wanting them to sign contracts, but the longer they waited and the more results their kids put in,the better the contract was. So for me,I am just sitting back and letting Scott do his job and at the same time letting more of my shares qualify for long term capital gains. JMO
I bought 50,000 at 0.019 at the open.
I have been sending money from europe in the morning and can buy pinks in the afternoon.I have been doing this with ameritrade for years. With a margin account there has never been a problem buying pinks the same day.
If you have a margin account then you can trade the same day.
You have been here for a while and looking at your previous posts you already knew all this.
Exactly! If I wasnt willing to pay a couple of hundred dollars more and buy at the ask, then I would have missed todays run.Suggesting to only buy at the bid is more of a flippers mentality, where as I am "investing" in SRSR.
Personally I buy at the ask just to be sure I get the shares that I want. And even today I had to change my order 3 times because the ask kept moving up.
Thanks Jim!!!!!!!!!!
I dont exactly understand what you are trying to say. It sounds like you are saying that you hope the pps stays at 10 cents. Scott could decide to JV a part of the property while drilling is going on elsewhere and they have other properties that add value to SRSR. We know that there are billions of dollars worth of minerals in the ground and that Scott and his team are capable of turning this company into a major player. Plus at some point they will uplist. So to me it makes sense that serious investors would be willing to pay alot more than .10 a share. Nobody knows when this will reach a dollar, but thats not really the point. Just knowing that we are way under valued at.10 makes this a great investment and as time passes the value will only increase. So instead of trying to convince people that we are lucky to be at .10,I think you would be more helpful in showing people how under valued this company is.
The fact that named the D ZONE after Allen Hawke speaks volumes to what the property is worth. You dont honor somebody with something unless its next to priceless.
Got it,thanks.
OntaREEo, I thought someone said yesterday that we had to have a minimum of $2 or $3 to uplist. Is that correct?
I believe the NI report paves the way for a JV or whatever partnership they decide on.The fact that they have begun drilling again leads me to believe that they have already found somebody to help with future funding. The NI is just the first step of many steps to come.
The report is in final "editing" phase and will be "available shortly".
Hey GO, the beauty of this is that we can anticipate a constant flow of great news.
NI report
JV
drilling results
update of our gold property
more drilling results
uplisting news
more NI reports from D and SE Zones
plus our other properties
Why would anybody sell in 2009 ?
I dont understand these people that are waiting for a pullback. We have the NI report coming out, further drilling going on,we are expecting further information on our gold property, there is probably a JV that is about to be announced,we have billions worth of minerals in the ground,we have Scott leading the company,etc... Not to mention uplisting in the not so distant future. I think people should feel lucky that they can still buy for .10
For me the worst case scenerio is that the pps doesnt move much after the NI report, but instead we have to wait for JV news. But the good news is that I dont think we will have to wait long. The fact that they have already begun preparations for new drilling leads me to believe that some sort of JV has already been found.
SRSR is about 95% of my portfolio.Every time I try to diversify I lose money,so I have stopped trying. The other 5% is just garbage that isnt worth selling.
Also, work on the NI report was initiated on Feb.11 and was finished on June 26. (according to press release of Feb.11)
Personally,I invested in this company just to make some money and right now our concerns are whether or not they will be able to drill. To have to read posts about who we should sell oil to or not to sell to is ridiculous in my opinion.Lets keep politics out of this please.JMO
LOL, I know what you mean. But every time I try that I lose money.
Complicated!!! Yes,I believe if you want to daytrade you need to sign some special papers and follow certain rules. Most people want a margin account so they dont have to wait the 3 days for the funds to settle. With my margin account I can wire money in the morning from overseas and can trade around 5pm the same day.
Thats because penny stocks dont count towards being able to buy on margin. If you have $100,000 of SRSR you have 0 buying potential for buying on margin. But if you have $100,000 of MSFT then you can borrow on margin another $100,000.
Also those people exiting at .10,.25,.50...etc probably have millions of shares and are just selling a small percentage of their holdings. JMO
LOL
I think in Australia it is winter,so probably not mating season.JMO
Of course not,but I dont think that the transfer of money is the real issue.A signed contract is enough and a copy of the transfer request.Plus,I wouldnt think that the whole 50 million is needed up front.JMO
I send money from Switzerland (UBS) in the morning and its in my US account in the afternoon. I dont see what the holdup is.Of course if I take a loan with GE Money Bank then there is a 1 week waiting period before they can release the money. There is a 7 day period where I can still change my mind.
Which means more money for us.
Not just $380,000 for the property ,but also the original owners will be receiving a royalty (6% maybe,I dont recall) which will be considerable. Also, the property went 50 years without being mined because niobium was not worth then what it is now.
cork, I wish, but we dont know if those shares were restricted or not.
I will let some of the more experienced posters answer your (good) questions. The main thing that I would say is that things are going slow because SRSR doesnt have much cash and Scott does not want to dilute the share structure which is in our best interests.I think that we have to wait for a JV partner to sign on before we can speed things up.The only downside that I could see happening is if something happened to Scott.JMO
I agree that Federer is the best of all time, but at the same time Laver dominated his generation like nobody else.He has 2 Grand Slam victories to prove it, which nobody else has ever done before and probably never will.I think that Nadal is the modern day Borg.He not only has the consistency of Borg, but has the power that Borg never had and he has the advantages of being left handed.I think that there is a good chance that this victory by Federer will relaunch his bid for #1 for the next couple of years. We might be seeing the old Federer coming back to life.
I just heard something that Fred Stolle said concerning whether Federer will be considered the best player of all time if he wins today. Stolle said that Laver missed 24 Grand Slams when he was at his best because he was pro,and professionals were not allowed to play Grand Slams. Also, Ken Rosewall missed 40 Grand Slams for the same reason. Interesting!!!
I agree that Federer has a few grand slams left in him. The swedish guy that beat Nadal sure is playing well.I would love to see him win the tournament. But Federer is definitely the favorite. Its nice to see a few new faces in the womens draw too.Take care!!
Sorry,I misunderstood. LOL
Goforthebet was just saying that regardless of who the JV partner will be,that probably SRSR will still be the operator of the property just like the JV with Converge Global.
Just wait till they finish diluting.Actually my GLCC are still worthless, restricted shares.I was told that they would be worth .70 per share, but maybe I misunderstood.
