serfdom, those were great posts. thanks for the insights. I always felt that way in theory, but like you said I didn't follow my own advice/wisdom either, and after I got out of a stock 70% up I went back into a different stock on the tail end of a chase and got burned.
ne, DD is one thing. But what you are doing is not DD, it is pumping. you repeat posts across multiple boards with all these figures but no sources to back it up. Your posting style very closely resembles that of many pumpers from RB, and speaking for myself I find it annoying *and* destructive. DD wise, what we *know* is what is published and official. What we speculate on is based on what we know. Right now we do not know what Mid-South will produce, because the company has not released official numbers. In fact, we have no idea at all, best of my knowledge. If you have more info, site sources, please.
How do you know the IR firm bought more on Friday? Are you an insider?
oops...posted this on the wrong board
speaking of contracts, in my own DD it appears that contracts are not being handed out to anyone yet. it seems that they still don't even know what they're going to do with the area, and while that is up in the air the government contracts will be in the air with them. Phoenix will likely be the target of a torrent of lucrative subcontracts.
Wow, just wow, everytime I think about it I am just watching this stock soar into the heavens in the longterm. I hope they can do it without an R/S.
perhaps we need a C section, as in Contract section.
It may be time to put the finger on the 'ban' trigger. I'm pretty tired of this blanket pumping. tree, you wanna pipe in on this one?
maybe ne stands for Nite Equity
OT: oops, foobar'd the math on it. guess it'll have to be coach. unless you prefer cheap alcohol, that is. Deal's on though!
ever feel like PBLS is trying to give birth to .031?
(c'mon, push, push PUUUSSSSHHHH)
<too tired to think straight this morning...ran out of coffee)
OT: clare, if IGTN goes to $5 post split, I will fly you both first-class to my place to party...I'll even provide the scotch and subway sammiches. Alas, tis but a dream...
AMEX would be a bad idea right now. in order to get there at this point they would need to R/S to get the share price up....anyone familiar with my posts on the IGTN board know how I feel about reverse splits. I have alot of shares in this company and a R/S would almost guarantee nothing more than a minor gain in the longterm. Not worth it IMHO....
anyone know what the conversion timetable is (new ticker too)?
like I said, standing on the shoulders of his investors.
yes, they do have reasons to make this go. The differences are a) it's 1/30 instead of 1/40, b) they have and can continue to stand on the shoulders of naive investors who believe their dangling carrots, in order to do what they need done. We'll have to wait a really long time just to break even again, much less see profit. So their 1/30 does not concern me.
my favorite was OXFV....I forget what the PR was but the PPS went up 700% in a single day. then it floored the next day...since then it's been doing a 20-30% cycle about every 2 days. Unfortunately all my money is tied up and I couldn't jump on the cycle wagon....:(
ne14*trade.......been to Jersey City lately?
just curious....
like a Penny Mutual Fund?
Congrats on the Pats win, Trops. They gave me the lead in my picks group this week. Go Pats ;)
this will require patience. given the sheer volume of work that needs to be done, and our government's knack for efficiency, it will be a long long time before actual contracts will even be handed out...but the rewards will be *tremendous*....
If I had a ranch, you can bet a majority of it would be on this one.
That having been said, I wouldn't expect another 10 baggger spike....be patient
PPS: there's alot of sell volume on the bid today. But the price isn't dropping at all, like it would with, say, AMEP....anyone want to speculate?
I understand that, but we've already berated ne14trade for doing the same thing.
Moreover, having a paid account is irrelevant. These boards are moderated. You may pay for features above and beyond boards: PMing, etc, but you can still be banned or have your posts deleted.
The reason I am here (and many of us I imagine) is because I like the people on these boards. I don't need rudeness, bashing or malcontent. Your tense assertions and rude comments remind me too much of the pumper/bashers on RB. If we can't have civilized discussions about something than this site is not worth my time.
If you would like to discuss something in an uncivil manner feel free to post your e-mail and we can do it privately.
Yep, this will be an interesting week for this stock. Not keeping my hopes up though. That chart was hilarious, btw...good job TFN.
pnew, some of the securities listed on the SHO *right now* are not reporting. Combine that with the statement further down the page:
"As of April 14, 2005, all OTC Securities have been included on the Threshold Security List."
and it appears that non-reporting do indeed appear on the list.
if the SHO and naked shorting is such a blowover with the gov't, why did Refco get busted?
my replies to this issue (please pnew, in the future please do not double-post across PBLS and Pebblers...we all read both boards):

Getting good information:
In regards to some negative posts recently. If you have questions about what's going on with PBLS, CALL MIKE MULSHINE DIRECT. His job is to field questions. If you want info about the naked shorting, about the stock performance, about the future of the company, etc, etc, etc, *please* call him. I have done so and was quite satisfied with the answers I was given.
In regards to the naked shorting. First, if PBLS was indeed naked shorted at the .128 spike, you can bet that the MMs have recovered by now, seeing as PBLS is not on the SHO. Given Refco's recent run-in, and the fact that the NASD has taken over OTC, OTCBB, etc, and mounting pressure on the SEC to handle the buy-in violations, you can expect some s**t to hit the fan with the MMs and some of this will stop. The answer for you is to request your paper certificates NOW, especially if you are a long holder. If you intend to flip don't bother. I, for one, have requested my certificates, and as I buy more (and I will be as soon as more capital comes in) I will be requesting those as well.
PBLS is moving forward very positively, and we will see nothing but great things from the company. As for the stock performance, don't expect another giant .128 spike in 2 days type of rise, but it will go up as numbers and more PRs come out. Now is a great time to buy, and probably will be for a little while longer.
Again, if you are a long holder I strongly urge you to request your paper certs. If other companies start getting nailed for naked shorting, when the music stops the only stock owners will be those with certs, and possibly those with cash accounts at reputable firms.
Take care all
grizzy
You don't have to be a reporting company to be on the SHO list.
from Nasdaq
http://www.nasdaqtrader.com/aspx/regsho.aspx
"subject to Regulation SHO for January 20, 2005 to April 13, 2005. Note: As of April 14, 2005, all OTC Securities have been included on the Threshold Security List."
Look up some of those symbols and you will find pinkies.
If you have questions about the naked shorting, I strongly suggest you give Mike a call...

hey wave, can you PM me an e-mail I can contact you at?
hey coy!! welcome back :) Missed having you around. I hope everything is looking up for you, and we are all thinking about you...

WaveRider: I have a public reply in my box, but it says it was deleted when I try to open it. Did I miss anything?
If I'm not mistaken kavetching is yiddish slang for complaining, whining....any Jewish folk out there feel free to correct me :)
just so you know, when I posted that there was a bunch of kavetching going on. looks like it has been removed. sorry about that, but I truly was not responding to your message.
everyone please relax...this is exactly what the MMs want to see, panic. Now everyone will get pi**ed and sell, and the MMs (and savvy buyers ;) ) will be waiting. Cool it :)
be careful here, serfdom. If the R/S occurs without a previous upward move, and then the published financials are not promising, the stock will tank at a much faster rate than when the R/S was originally announced.
make sure you buy in multiples of 40
I agree. Clearly there are many things that have gone wrong here, but my only beef with Sand is his response to our e-mails that said don't pay attention to boards. It wasn't Sand who started the R/S, it was the Board of Directors. Everyone approved it, so you can't necessarily blame Sand for that. However, I think they need a better financial strategy and certainly better financial advisors.
I agree with Sand that the boards are filled with bashers and pumpers, but alot of people called this reverse split before it happened, and I should have gotten out when they started talking that stuff.
Oh well....it's a long bag anyways....glta
we can start by making paper requests. remember MM naked shorting relies on virtual shares. if we all request paper certificates then whoever provides them has to back them up with real shares.
I imagine he's not required to. This is not a reporting company, right?
Once again, the same ol' bs. You can give us a date all you want, but after the last umpteen times you've said something like this, I'll only believe it when it ACTUALLY HAPPENS. this is pump-pump-pump-no-action time for Ingen. Sigh............
quit issuing b.s. PRs.
http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=us&ie=UTF-8&scoring=d&q=IGTN&btnG=Search+N...
isn't it possible they have just finished accumulating after the .128 spike?
if I'm not mistaken you must have 3 years financials to submit a Form 211, right? They announced mid-summer 2006, which probably means they are submitting financials for 2003-2005...I'm sticking with that PR. as jm would say
" 'Patience...grassshoppah' "
in the meantime, as soon as I get some more capital I'm buying in. I don't care how high it goes between now and then.
relax pebblers. has it ever occurred to anyone that the MMs are keeping the price low to cover from the .128 spike?
I'll bet they are just waiting for the daytraders and flippers to sell and get out so they can nab their shares.
besides, we're back at even for the day. If you wanna flip, go flip RSHN and GSHF. RSHN is up 100% since two days ago and GSHF runs a 20%-30% cycle everytime bad weather comes from the gulf.
longs...take it easy. if I had the capital I'd be accumulating right now. flippers beware.
