call that economic Cannabis pressure build up behind barriers, or walls, or borders
So what's stopping a few hundred Americans a day from visiting the (speculative) Tweed Farms Niagara Tour? Or just out for a Legal Canadian Cannabis Weekend?
It would be like Canada having all the Major Sports Teams and America Having the one Basketball, One Baseball and Few Hockey Teams. U.S delay is a great kick starter
The US delay to federal progression on ending Cannabis Prohibition will create investment and economic flow into Canada, into CGC. It's another Barrier working to their advantage, much like the Harper Conservatives creating the MMPR, now ACMPR that is now an example to the world on regulations.

" Hi,
At Tweed we think good things come in three's, especially phenotypes! Paisley Number 1, 2 & 3 are our newest strains and each of the phenotypes is so distinct that we had to delineate them by number to show how different one can be from another!
All are indica-dominant hybrids and all are priced at $6.
Paisley No. 3 is ready to go today with the rest of the trio arriving very soon.
No.3 has the wildest purple colour we've ever produced in a strain. So purple, it looks like it should be loaded with whatever terpene they put in grape gum, but it's mostly full of Caryophylene and Myrcene.

Someone may hv placed a basket order with a range . If at a moment, , there are no others in between, except those wild fluctuations, like stop losses and basket orders, that meet yours, it goes. At least I think that' how it works
This is why I have no sympathy for most of them, because for the world of claims being made about the patients, all I see is a cash grab first quality later approach from dispensaries. After using Bedrocan Product, I wouldn't use anything from a dispensary if it were free. Maybe to spice up a fire pit, that's all. Consider medicating yourself daily with the wrong ingredients and potentially residuals from an unqualified process. It's awful. So a person who uses CBD Meds for depression, anxiety for example goes to a dispensary, asks for High CBD, Low THC, and they get the opposite because the dispensary is operated by people who don't care enough. Not cool.
Says the person who thought this was trading at $5 August 2014. I guess there are always late comers to every party. I think you will find there are enough fact checkers on this page, that even the heaviest takers can separate fact from fiction, just from the credible information they share. Cheers
All the right conversations are starting to happen. This industry can not advertise and is BOUND by rules and regulations, unlike the multi billion dollar illegal market.
Investors and industry leaders need the public conversations to happen, especially between regular and non Cannabis users.
Over the next 5 months, there may not be enough time in a day to cover all the News Articles, Analysts breakdowns Blogs and Board Posts.
This is gonna be a wild ride. Plan accordingly and Buckle up!
Government needs to protect teens when it legalizes pot: Canadian Paediatric Society
Marijuana poses risks for developing brains and shouldn't be sold to those under 18 or 19, group says

The sale of recreational marijuana needs to be restricted in order to protect children and to discourage use by teens, the Canadian Paediatric Society is urging, as the federal government prepares to move forward with plans to legalize the industry.
In a position statement released Thursday, the medical group said the goal of its recommendations is to minimize harm for those most vulnerable.
"A very big issue, because of the rates of cannabis use in our adolescents, is for [parents] to have conversations with their older children and teens about the risks of marijuana on the developing brain," said Dr. Christina Grant, statement co-author and a member of the society's adolescent health committee.
The society points to a 2010 report by the World Health Organization that suggests about 30 per cent of Canadian youth have tried cannabis at least once by age 15 — highest among 43 countries and regions in Europe and North America.
Medical Marijuana Competition
The CPS is recommending a minimum age of 18 or 19 when it comes to the purchase of legal marijuana, though the group would like to see limits on THC imposed up to the age of 25. (Robert F. Bukaty/Associated Press)
The CPS position statement describes the potentially harmful effects of cannabis use among adolescents, including damage to critical brain development, risk of psychiatric illness, potential for addiction and poor performance in school.
The society said prohibiting cannabis use until the mid-20s would protect adolescents during a period of critical brain development. The College of Family Physicians of Canada.
Given how many teens and young adults are experimenting with marijuana, CPS recommends striking a middle ground and prohibiting the sale of cannabis to age 18 or 19, depending on the province or territory, to align with the age of majority for regulated alcohol and tobacco sales.
Increased potency
The society also recommends that the government consider limiting the concentration of THC — the main psychoactive component that provides pot's high — in cannabis that 18- to 25-year-old can legally purchase.
"We also think it's important for parents to tell their teenagers that they care about them, that they want them to have up-to-date information on cannabis and the risks in terms of mental health," Grant said. "There are lots of myths."
CMA recommends minimum age of 21 to smoke pot
Some doctors worried about young people's use of medical pot
One myth surrounds how common it was for teens to smoke pot in the 1960s and '70s. But Grant said the potency of today's cannabis is three to four times greater now than it was then.
About one in six teens that regularly use marijuana can develop a cannabis-use disorder that may significantly interfere with their day-to-day functioning, Grant said. This can include things like going to school, having challenges with family and a loss of interest in activities they previously enjoyed.
Edible issues
The CPS is also calling for a public education campaign — one that would include messages from young people — to reinforce that cannabis is not safe for children and youth.
In Washington and Colorado, two U.S. states where marijuana has been legalized, Grant noted that accidental ingestion of edible cannabis products by children is an issue.
Research suggests there's been about a 30 per cent increase in the number of young children being brought to emergency departments after accidentally ingesting pot-infused edibles, which can affect their breathing.

In its position statement, the CPS also calls on the federal and provincial/territorial governments to:
Enact and rigorously enforce regulations on the cannabis industry to limit the availability and marketing of cannabis to minors.
Extend and align existing anti-tobacco legislation at all government levels to include cannabis (i.e., prohibiting smoking in public venues or smoking in cars where a child is present).
Invest in the development and implementation of programs for routine roadside detection of cannabinoids and determine suitable consequences for youth found to be under the influence.
Increase funding for the research, prevention and treatment of substance use in adolescents and young adults.
Increase funding for mental health promotion and for treating mental illness in this age group.
Consult with Indigenous communities on adapting legislation, preventative measures and interventions to meet local conditions and cultural requirements.
Actively monitor the impact of changes to cannabis legislation on youth.
The Canadian Paediatric Society released a separate position statement about medical marijuana use in children and teens last February.

Always, leaving nuggets on the Conference Calls for only the astute listener
They took the hares path to CF+, while CGC will be the 200 year Tortoise, outliving the young and Reckless. So there is the value of CGC Board of Directors and President Mark Zekulin. No Shady Business
Any mention of the words "license " and "produce" or " sale" or "distribute" in the same sentence, and hype will be a severe understatement. Gauging of the Liberal Party mandate to regulate and restrict, I think Bay Street might need to prepare for a Spanish Bull run, Just In Case.
B4 u realize, it will be April 20, 2017.
Awesome!

In case any one here is inclined to inquire first hand
No set date as of yet. Only Government sources post November or by end of to receive the report. Wether or not the report will be immediately made public is my question. I doubt the official opposition or the starving freelance media will allow that sort of secretiveness, so any day now, I think we can expect a torrent of News and analysis of the report to come. Personally, this is nearly as exciting to me as the Liberal Majority win. The report will mark a Definitive step forward, only second to April 2017 legislation, and first Rec MJ sale.
"Tweed and Bedrocan Canada are pleased to immediately commit that up to the specified daily amount approved, our companies will ensure full coverage for all of our products regardless of the price, so that veterans continue to have access to a full range of products to meet their needs, including cannabis oils. Any cost differential between our store price and the coverage by Veterans Affairs will be covered by Tweed and Bedrocan Canada, respectively, so that we subsidize our veterans and not the other way around."
http://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/canopy-growth-corporation-welcomes-governments-commitment-to-maintaining-veterans-insurance-coverage-602493525.html
SMITHS FALLS, ON, Nov. 22, 2016 /CNW/ - Canopy Growth Corporation (TSX:CGC) ("Canopy Growth" or the "Company") is pleased to provide the following update on the Government's new policy surrounding veterans insurance coverage, and to provide an overview of the practices of its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Tweed Inc. (Tweed) and Bedrocan Canada Inc. (Bedrocan Canada) as they relate to veterans.
Canopy Growth's Current Veterans Program
In light of the findings of the Auditor General's Spring 2016 Report outlining cost increases for medical marijuana veterans coverage by Veterans Affairs Canada, the recent VICE News reports alleging unethical or illegal price inflation by two other Licensed Producers as it relates to prices for insurance-covered veterans, recent concerns expressed by CFAMM, and today's resulting policy changes made by the Canadian government, Canopy Growth would like to make it definitively clear that it does not and has never engaged in any practice to inflate pricing for veterans.
We do not operate separate websites for veterans. We do not oblige veterans to purchase higher-priced cannabis products, while hiding access to lower priced cannabis products. We do not charge a different price to veterans, and we do not hide pricing from veterans. Every veteran who registers with Tweed or Bedrocan Canada receives access to the exact same products at the exact same pricing as every other customer.
Though we serve hundreds of Canadian veterans, veterans represent only 2% of Canopy Growth's combined client base of tens of thousands of Canadians. The Company does not foresee these policy changes having a material impact on sales or customer growth. Tweed and Bedrocan Canada attract and retain our veteran clientele the same way we attract all our other customers: with quality customer service, and a wide and diverse product selection. We are proud to serve our veterans and would never jeopardize the trust our veterans place in us, or attempt to artificially increase pricing at the expense of the Canadian taxpayer.
To ensure that Canopy can effectively voice its opinion on this and other pressing issues facing our sector, our Company has elected to withdraw its memberships from Cannabis Canada Association.
New Government Policy on Veterans Coverage
As reported this morning, Veterans Affairs has amended insurance coverage for veterans, introducing a price limit of $8.50 per gram, while extending coverage to cannabis oils. While the Government has introduced a limit on the number of grams it will insure by default, it has also committed to a process for additional coverage. Our Company will continue to advocate for fair coverage and trust that additional coverage will be provided for those veterans with a demonstrated need.
"Cannabis appears to provide significant therapeutic benefit to thousands of Canadian veterans while potentially reducing the use of costly and, in some cases, harmful pharmaceuticals," said Bruce Linton, CEO of Canopy Growth. "With cost overruns and allegations of unethical price inflation, it was possible that the Government could have ended all insurance coverage, so we are pleased that Veterans Affairs will continue to offer our veterans access to this emerging therapeutic option, and that coverage has been extended to oils as well."
Tweed and Bedrocan Canada are pleased to immediately commit that up to the specified daily amount approved, our companies will ensure full coverage for all of our products regardless of the price, so that veterans continue to have access to a full range of products to meet their needs, including cannabis oils. Any cost differential between our store price and the coverage by Veterans Affairs will be covered by Tweed and Bedrocan Canada, respectively, so that we subsidize our veterans and not the other way around.
Companies sometimes sacrifice improvements in revenues and margins in order to extend friendlier terms to customers and vendors. Capital Cube probes for such activity by comparing the changes in gross margins with any changes in working capital. If the gross margins improved without a worsening of working capital, it is possible that the company’s performance is a result of truly delivering in the marketplace and not simply an accounting prop-up using the balance sheet.
Gross Margin History
Working Capital Days History
CGC-CA‘s improvement in gross margin has been accompanied by an improvement in its balance sheet as well. This suggests that gross margin improvements are likely from operating decisions and not accounting gimmicks. Its working capital days have declined to 662.55 days from 895.94 days for the same period last year.

Right. I enjoyed listening to the Conference this past weekend. At the end, Bruce and Tim said Bye , we need to get back to work on all this stuff we're working on. It's all there. The Greenhouse yield is amazing! Especially for Canada. Australia never goes below 22 Celsius all year round, so no change in yield. Although CGC is only arms length there, the concepts applied there is explosive! It's mind boggling to me how excellent the execution is. Remember before tweed Farms? We could only imagine the forward looking statements: smith falls for r and d , phenotyping value added processes, and Tweed Farms stuffed to the teets with foliage and flowers... well, here we are. Who's surprised? People just waking up from doubts.
Vert ! Another amazing prospect. 3 more facilities into 2017 end? Awesome! Preaching to the Choir here, yes, buts that's cause there really is a whole lot of amazing developments going on. It would be silly to wait till after the horse is out the gates I think.
One question: does the board of directors of this corporation hold the confidence of its investors to continue to execute as planned, to the best of their ability the recent objectives (y,n) and what are those objectives worth to the corporation, its shareholders and the shark pool feeding frenzy called the TSX going forward. My opinion.
Why the 10am recess on trading? Were there any big fast swings today?
I've been thinking about Germany. Infancy. About a handful of patients when CGC first announced entry and up to a thousand last a read somewhere. No producers. Single federal distributed... and CGC has a licence to export.
So with that said, if German registered patients continue to grow exponentially over the next q or two, and their Government is looking for credible supply, and CGC is there, waiting in the wings, it could be quite significant to CGC. Population 80 mil.
Australia intends to begin a distribution program 2017. Population, 20 million.
These international sets excite me because, although nothing has been exported yet (rightfully so, supply Canadians First ) , CGC Supply is growing to meet a growing demand. There are Cannabis Walls everywhere. At every border, and behind each border is a swell of demand.
I personally wouldn't wait for the rain to start building a roof, or boat, whichever analogy works best. There is a storm coming in this industry. A perfect storm. CGC is getting ready. Luck is when opportunity meets preparation.
0 - Zero. That's the current significance of American State level changes to CGC. They've already stated no entry there until there is federal legalization. The Anti Cannabis approach the new administration is a definite setback for the whole industry, but Lo and behold, it's another Great Wall. A barrier. A mote. While hundreds of millions in USD sit on the sidelines, waiting federal permission, Canopy is building its base and expanding its Green Foot print and Thumb Print internationally. No US federal players... Great! By the time US is ready for the ball, CGC would have already made a formidable position in Canada and International. CGC will be an Northern Beast once USA is ready to join in. My opinion
Legal pot in Canada could sell for $5 a gram — or less
http://globalnews.ca/news/3070170/legal-pot-could-sell-for-5-a-gram-or-less/?campaign_id=A100
Purple Wreck! Mmmmm
i like how both tweed and bedrocan have stuck to simple labeling so that in case the rules that are similar to tobacco packaging apply to Cannabis, both brands have already established that. the structure of the federal legislation will be very revealing. Any licence or regulation creates a mote. And the flood of applications from large and small industry will drive everything forward.
the conference call . 3 times production for 2017. 10 x volume in greenhouses than smith falls. still not enough to keep up with the pace of growth into 2017. Boom
Avg- 180 orders a day/ last 11 days.
I cancelled my sell order at. Because it was happening to fast.
There you are! Glad you witnessed it.
This is awful. The guy on here is telling the host that the only way to use LP product is to smoke it, and the host doesn't know he's lying. He says his product is clean and LP product frequently has mold! Such Bull Cheet!
The Liberals need to get this going for. Real! People need proper access or these crooks will continue to deceive masses. Fulfill the expectations.
