you can turn hemp fibres into string or rope, so they can make kites that fly in the wind.....those are fun
make a big Tweed kite from hemp and fly it in the air
like 40 down to 30? was that another great time for accumulation?
well what do you call it when a company or group of larger companies can control the price of commodities because of their scale and access to market......like large scale peach producers starting their own canneries...I have read about this, i know John Steinbeck wrote about this scenario....
eventually the cannabis is just going to be an ingredient in a whole class of finished consumer products. CGC may have started out as the largest producer of this ingredient, eventually I see them becoming the largest purchaser of this ingredient
they are working on creating the largest and most diverse supply of cannabis in the world......they will be able to dominate markets that do not exist yet - like the cannabis beverage market for example.
word of the day.....monopsony
In a monopsony, many sellers outnumber only one buyer. This often happens when a company becomes a monopoly and gains so much power that many other companies are pursuing it to become its supplier
adj. monopsonistic - example - this schit right here is some monopsonistic schit!
that line is quite steep, the stock will most definitely trade below it in the future, it will drop below that line and will never catch up to it again, for certain
still holding onto them?
did you pick up any more $25.99ers?
December 27th if closed above $27 for the first time....we are back to late December levels
wow, lots of money goes poof! lol, silly market!
'read my lips under $30' is what I remember - good call
Bruce Linton is selling stock, only thing I can think of?
I like it when the price drops, the low prices are where the money is made
i like where this is headed, From Jan. 02nd to now, WEED has gone down overall, my portfolio has not
The hold period for the Constellation shares and warrants has ended, maybe Constellation is taking back some cash from their investment....every share they sell at this price gives them enough cash to exercise over two of their warrants....so they probably want to end up with a nice cash profit and a 10% stake in CGC, now would be a decent time to start selling a bit off
don't you even worry about it, the senate, the media corporations and the professional short traders are just pinching the tip right now, the teets must be milked from time to time....I saw it coming but I only gave it a quick pinch, just a little milk - need to work on my patience
Yesterday fiscal year 2019 began. This is the first fiscal year that expanded Tweed Farms will be operational, the first year that BC Tweed will be operational, this year Denmark will begin production, this year legalization will occur with an estimated 7 months of sales to be reported.
Outdoor CBD Hemp production? Nasdaq listing, expansions will continue, production will continue to ramp up as the cost per gram drops.....margins will continue to rise, sitting at 70% now, supply agreements will start paying dividends....
seeing some real debt financing to fund capacity expansions would be the best, need to slow down the dilution.....when CGC can mortgage some property......going to be dope
A year from now Fiscal year 2020 will begin - the first full year of legalization, hopefully the year edibles will be implemented....
so where will the stock be in 26 months when FY 2020 is reported? Late June, 2020 - where we at?
at best we won't see financials on 6 months of rec sales for over a year....first 6 months will be Q3 and YE Fiscal year 2019......Starting October 2018 to March 2019. At best the first full quarter of rec sales starts October 1st, that is what I am hoping to see at this point.
So we will see that late June 2019....the good thing though, that fiscal year just started yesterday.....the year of execution has begun.
February was a very good month for CGC, up almost 25%. 27.35 to 33.66 - it would have been a good idea to short this stock this morning....this is either a small correction or CGC is way overvalued, we will see
that never happened, the train bridge was first built out of LEGOs for support, and then the bride was built in place, then the legos were removed, I was there, I helped set the Lego foundation for the project
I think the Tweed 'font' is a rip off of Coca Cola's
there is risk, but is it as big a risk as cough syrup? or gasoline? aspirin? razor blades? automobiles? lottery scratch tickets, booze, redbull?
with risk assessment, it is valuable to multiply the effect of an event happening by it's likelihood of happening....plane explodes has a massive effect but little chance of happening - cannabis user taking a nap on a couch has a small effect and a very large chance of happening
with cannabis there is a very very small risk of death and a very large risk of naps happening
I was thinking about Smith Falls earlier today. Bruce Linton complains about not having access to debt financing and needing to dilute the stock to finance growth. He says he can look back at the Dealer's License area needing to be GMP certified and everything costing lots of money - he knows how many shares he had to sell to buy a ceiling tile or a door.
and I was there (well my money went there) three years ago, in February 2015 when he made one of those financing rounds, and the price dropped below $2 a share, a lot of us that type on this board were there to buy up those shares, to build those facilities...
it was good (made a lot of money)
Good looking out! I just found it and love the first sentence of the article, someone put some time into this.....
A cold rain beat down recently on the boarded-up cinder-block homes and empty factories of Smiths Falls, Ontario, melting the last snows in this industrial town about an hour south of Ottawa.
well that wouldn't really work, it is set up so that everyone can go into a store and buy 30 grams....but that would be the maximum purchase per person because that is the carrying limit.....it would not be legal to carry around more than 30 grams so it wouldn't make sense for a store to sell more than that......however, if someone brought their purchase home or 'shared' it with someone else, then they could go back to the store to buy more I suppose.....but so could absolutely anyone so there would be no benefit for anyone to sell what they buy except to capture delivery value...like if someone didn't want to go to the store I could go for them and charge for delivery.
if there will be any illicit dealing it will illicitly produced cannabis, I mean adults will be allowed to grow 4 plants a person.....I think the goal is just to transcend the black market in the way alcohol market has, it will happen naturally, people want legitimate product, no risk
if they crop out batches of genetically identical females - there are no 'seeds' - seeds only come into play during breeding.
you create a batch of clones to grow together....fill a room or a section with all the same plant....i mean it is very literally the same plant, plant cloning would be like me cutting off my arm and sticking it on a wet towel and it magically turns into my genetic twin infant baby
and with processing.....like trimming, you would bring a crop into the trim room, and trim them all together i would think, so if they were to use unique identifiers for each plant the usefulness of that data would end there.
I am going to smoke a bit more than take a nap like a boss
ahhh, software to plan resources.....that is next level schit! See this is why I stay invested in CGC, if I had 18 tons of cannabis it would be in hefty trash bags in the garage and I would have a notebook with a count of how many bags I had....
their system is probably way better
Well C-45 has a law about adults being able to carry around 30 grams of cannabis - so it seems obvious that would be a limit on sales in public to 30 grams, I am not sure how that would work with online sales, although I am sure the provinces can set their own restrictions....
https://www.canada.ca/en/services/health/campaigns/introduction-cannabis-act-questions-answers.html#a1
Upon coming into force of the Cannabis Act, adults in Canada will be allowed to legally engage in the following activities:
Purchase fresh or dried cannabis, cannabis oil, plants and seeds for cultivation from either a provincially or territorially regulated retailer, or where this option is not available, directly from a federally licensed producer;
Possess up to 30 grams of dried legal cannabis or equivalent in public;
Share up to 30 grams or equivalent of legal cannabis and legal cannabis products with other adults;
Cultivate up to 4 plants in their own residence (4 plants total per household); and
Alter cannabis at home in order to prepare varying types of cannabis products (e.g., edibles) for personal use provided that no dangerous organic solvents are used in the process.
I got the house to myself, I got a major wood finishing project to take care of, just lit a joint, got to get some music on, sand paper is ready, need to sweep first..a door, some trim, railing, balusters, risers, treads....lot of sanding, staining, and sealing to do....just got to get my mind right, got the whole weekend to chill out and get er done
i will start with stir it up, Canopy Growth Corp is the best, our inventory is world class, well literally no one on the planet has anything like it - it might not stack up nice compared to our market cap but that is how things go.....
twmjf is a scam
I don't know, I am just so glad we are communicating again, fack! WEED is and always will be the best, going to go up with lots of money for all!
$8.7 billion annual sales psooma
Finally! Anyways I was just doing the math on how much inventory each share represents, and that is independent of how many shares I own. I hadn't thought of that, multiply my tenth of a gram estimate by how many shares I have.....
that is fun! I mean I got a nice sack of buds with my name on it!
but still, 18 tons sounds big and all, but I was trying to point out that our inventory value per share is a tiny fraction of the market value of each share.
example, at $10 a gram 1/10 of a gram would represent $1, a nice little toke, but $1 is about 1/33 of the price of a share of WEED
I guess that inventory represents 1/33 of the markets' estimation of CGC's total intrinsic value.
You tell us that for the first time you heard the term 'ERP' and then ask where you have heard it before? WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and what is ERP anyways?
18 million grams for over 198 million shares outstanding.....that is just a tiny puff of cannabis per share......
was a good day today! Canopy Growth Corp went up and I landed a job...start in a few weeks, I won't be around to do something stupid like put in more sell orders :)
lol, did you read that or just look at the pictures?
EMH is a cloud but not an obstacle overhanging Villiage Farms.
EMH's G & A for those willing to dig deep enough explains everything one needs to know of why I won't put a nickel into their stock. The JV signed does not and will not affect how Villiage Farms moves forward. EMH will have hit the jackpot if they can afford the future cost to excercise the JV options on Delta 2 and 3. it won't be $20 million, thats forsure.
honestly I think it is a benefit to a corporation with a diversified supply chain in Europe, it is not good, but it hurts some of our other competitors position more than it would hurt ours
supply and demand, we got production going forward in Denmark and Spain....we still provide the buds at a fat markup, no real problems on the Germany front
what kind of cannabis related service are you talking about? What is a cannabis related service?
my next sale is 123,456 @ 78.90.....after this we will talk
