Your post may have been interpreted or mis-interpreted that MANAGEMENT felt share price is meaningless. << What does it mean when share price sends no meaningful message to management? >>
The board could do without the personal cheap shot leveled towards the Gleasman family. << I guess it could mean that as long as royalties are still coming in from the old Torsen days, who cares? >.
Exactly Cain... my buy also shows as a sell.
100,000 shares at .0219. 10,000 were executed at 10.48 am and they came back for the rest at 3.19p.m.
Dino
sulax playing the 10 year card....per Torvecian's post:
While the Iso-Torque has been in the works for some time, the refined, current variation of the Iso, under the most recent patent, being presented to potential users/partners/manufacturers in 2009, has been market ready for less than a year, not 10 years.
I say that Torvec sells the IsoTorque.
You say "They may have vastly improved it but the sure can't sell it" Mark this post, and we will see who is correct.
Dino
We shall see sulax "but the sure can't sell it"
Dino
Well da... I never heard that before "No due diligence needed to know the history..." LOLOLOLOLOLOL....
The Gleasmans INVENTED the Torsen differential and now with the IsoTorque they have vastly improved it.
Dino
The Gleasmans MARKETED the Torsen technology to Toyota to begin with. That is doing DD on my part. Ultimately the Gleasmans had the Torsen in 14 models of the Toyota vehicles, with Toyota ultimately buying the rights to the Torsen differential.
The Gleasmans should know which differential is better. THEY ARE THE ONES THAT IMPROVED IT.
I disagree with anyone who feels the IsoTorque will not bring in big money for the company one day.
Dino
There are many differences/betterments between the Torsen2 and the IsoTorque. One major difference is that the Torsen has a torque biasing of 2 1/2 to one while the IsoTorque has 3 times that 7 to 1.
Other differences include but are not limited to: the IsoTorque is stronger, lighter, less costly to manufacture.
I am also hearing from a fellow shareholder who followed this race and its results closely, that the Mitsubishi race car had the Torsen in the front axle. Made us wonder how the Mitsubishi would have finished with a stronger differential.
Dino
Fantastic.......
Don Knowles superb driving coupled with the IsoTorque’s traction and handling benefits allowed the Solstice to keep up and overtake more powerful cars in the class. Don qualified in second place .3 seconds off the poll position and finished the race 9.2 seconds ahead of 2008 National Champion, Andy Wolverton and his Solstice GXP. The only equipment difference between the two Solstices was Torvec’s IsoTorque differential.
There will be a huge demand for Torvec's IsoTorque in the future. How much of the market we capture is the only question.
Dino

You are so far out when you state "We're all pro Torvec, the company" you are not only not in left field or sitting in the bleachers of the stadium, but in the corn field in the next county if you believe everyone posting on this site is pro Torvec, the company.
Dino
dabreeze, you should be banned from this site. It is bad enough that you destroy the Yahoo Torvec message board with your cowardly personal internet attacks.
Dino
It is both naive and unrealistic to feel every poster here is pro Torvec, as you have just stated here as a FACT, "We're all pro Torvec, the company"
Dino
I would have to think we are Nzed, but I would be afraid to call Torvec to ask, because I do not want to be ACCUSED AGAIN of getting inside information.
I am looking forward to hearing about the Government funding. We get that, and IMO the share price will move. Something about 147,000 shares traded Friday tells me that some marketmaker does not want to be caught short when that announcement is made.
Dino
We are not wrong KNOTBAD, and we both know we just have to wait for everything to play out, then we will have extreme share price appreciation. I thought it was going to be this year but it is already October.
Dino
OT sulax... << Actually the noble thing would be for you to turn yourself in >>
I won't have time today.
Dino
Sulax putting OT in front of a personal attack is still a violation of I-Hub rules.
You have accused Torvec/myself of insider trading. I am certainly offended by that.
Dino
I am a cheerleader for Torvec because I believe in my investment in Torvec. Call me what you want, sticks and stones will break my bones
I have been in Torvec as a longterm investment, and did my dd. Everyone has to respect other's opinion, so if Torvec is looking like a buy now to me, that is because of my dd. If some on the board say Torvec is bearish, then that is their opinion. I could come up with a lot of reasons, trying to explain certain moves, but I won't, because it is no use here.
Know what you own has always been my motto, driven by dd. Am I sayin to buy Torvec? Everyone has to decide for themselves, but I have the freedom to tell that I am buying. For what reason? For my dd. Do I have to share it? Not if I don't want to.
Dino
Since 2005 the financial health of the light truck industry has not improved at all. If anything it has gotten worse. Torvec does not live in a vacuum. Any investor who keeps a close eye on his investment here, realizes how this has affected Torvec. How this would be Torvec's fault, or anyone could blame Torvec for the financial health of the light truck industry since 2005, is unrealistic to me.
It begs the question of how much do you want to hold Torvec responsible for things that are out of Torvec's control.
If the light truck industry was booming since 2005, that would then make Torvec look bad, and I would entertain conversation that Torvec did something wrong.
I can't understand someone who beats up an investment on public message boards 24/7, while continuing to hold their shares.
Dino
Will you be turning ME into the SEC sulax.... Why ask questions you feel you know the answers to...
<< Wouldn't that be inside information? >>
Did you see the plan in my post ABOUT TORVEC?
Quarterly Report
PLAN OF OPERATION
(a) Overall Business Strategy
From its inception in 1996, the company's overall business plan has been to design, develop, build and commercialize its FTV worldwide, especially in the Asian, African, South and Central American and Eastern European markets. In addressing issues and solving problems encountered in the design and development of the FTV, the company designed and developed a number of automotive drive-line technologies-i.e. the company's hydraulic pump/motor system, infinitely variable transmissions, Iso-Torque differential and constant velocity joint technology. The FTV has been developed and is ready for commercialization. In addition, each of the company's other automotive technologies has been developed and are ready for commercialization - either independently on a stand-alone basis or as incorporated into the company's FTV. In present circumstances, the company intends to produce, market and distribute FTV's by entering into a joint venture relationship with an automotive manufacturer. The company intends to incorporate its drive-line technologies into the FTV to enhance its marketability and value. The company also intends to license and/or enter into supply contracts with automotive manufacturers, military contractors, tier-one suppliers and possibly end-users for its drive-line technologies independent of their utilization in the FTV.
b) 2009 Plan of Operation
The company's plan of operation during the year ending December 31, 2009 is as follows:
1) to continue working with the U.S. Air Force to create an Advanced Combat Firefighting Vehicle capable of unprecedented speed, maneuverability with diverse applications for use in the most extreme and rugged terrain. The company delivered an FTV to the Air Force in December 2008 to maximize the FTVs combat firefighting capabilities, including its robotic and autonomous potential, at Tyndale Air Force Base in Florida. The Air Force has completed its evaluation of the FTV, has recommended that certain design-specific modifications be made to the vehicle and the company is in the process of making these changes prior to returning the vehicle to the Air Force for final approval;
2) to build a "second generation" FTV based upon the Air Force's recommendations for delivery to the Air Force for integration in its Advanced Combat FirefightingVehicle Program;
3) to explore interest in the FTV among other branches of the U.S. military, the Department of Homeland Security, FEMA, the U.S. Forestry Service, as well as state and municipal governmental units, in acquiring design-specific FTVs for boarder patrol, off-highway emergencies, as an environmentally-friendly vehicle for federal and state conservation and drug-enforcement efforts and, as a fast, highly maneuverable vehicle for combat and non-combat uses;
4) to explore the interest of a foreign truck manufacturer in licensing the rights to produce and market the FTV worldwide;
5) to build an IsoTorque differential for evaluation by a major American automotive manufacturer for integration in its front-wheel drive vehicles. Previously, in 2008, the manufacturer had evaluated the IsoTorque differential in its rear-wheel drive vehicles;
6) to redesign the axle used by a major international truck manufacturer to enable the manufacturer to integrate the company's IsoTorque technology in its fleet of heavy-duty trucks. The company completed the axle redesign and has forwarded a proposal to the manufacturer for its review and acceptance. During the first quarter of 2009, the company shipped seven design-specific infinitely variable transmissions to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration for use in that agency's lunar rover in connection with NASA's program titled "America's return to the moon." The company anticipates that it will continue to work in 2009 with NASA as an "official" drive-line consultant to the lunar rover project. Information regarding the company and all of its automotive inventions, including regular updates on technological and business developments, can be found on the company's website, www.torvec.com.

Life is full of surprises.....
<< I'm surprised that Jim or whoever it was you talked to, would tell you anything? >> I believe it was the cleaning lady. Now can we discuss Torvec here, not me. Did you happen to notice Torvec traded 146,298 shares today?
Life is good.............
Dino
digger.... There does seem to be an infatuation with DINO. I don't know you, but I am well... thanks for asking.
When I saw the reply to my post in my mailbox, I thought you might be discussing Torvec or the unusually high share volume today of 146,298 shares.
Dino
There was liquidity provided today if individual investors wanted out, makes you wonder why and who wants our shares.
Dino
75,800 shares traded so far today....
over 30,000 yesterday, 51,000 the day before.
Wish we knew who is taking a sudden interest, one way or the other, in our investment. Thanks for your post Torvecian, it was interesting reading.
Dino
Thank you Sammy I do feel as though every post I make here is put under a microscope.
It is the price I am made to pay for dare believing in my own investment.
Dino
I figured I would get a few crude responses to my post, but I just feel like the good people here should know.
<< your all will be explained next week was interpretted by some, including myself to mean that there was going to be news next week.>>
I will agree to disagree with you that "nothing yet has gone forward as planned"
Dino
For next week there is no major announcement planned by Torvec.
I just called the office now to ask.
As a pre-emptive strike, no I did not ask about XY and Z when I called. I was told everything is going forward as planned though.
Dino
I did not see 3000 shares cross at .67 today. I won't offer any input other than if you wanted to pay .71 and paid .67 you will have more money left in your cash account.
Welcome Jonups
Dino
No dabreeze that was not me, your post is off topic.
I stood up man to man at a shareholders meeting, and asked pointed questions concerning my investment in Torvec, and received a passionate response. OBVIOUSLY a response I wanted to hear and would expect the CEO of Torvec to say, or I would not have continued to add to my Torvec position from that day forward.
I have NEVER felt I was attacked by Jim Gleasman. << His attack years ago on YOU is when I first realized that. >>

Dino
If one is unhappy with management, yet doesn't want to sell Torvec, that does not give them a right to PERSONALLY ATTACK Andrew, Jim, or Keith Gleasman and THEIR SHAREHOLDERS on this board or any other message board set up to discuss Torvec.
IMO Torvec is an investment that will be very prosperous. Everyone take a look at the Torvec website and then do your own dd on TOVC.OB.
Dino
OT: Torvec posters do not let them achieve their OBJECTIVE. Do not stop posting here. Continue to present your views why you are a Torvec shareholder. Don't be intimidated. Put them on ignore if need be, but continue to keep the Torvec story out their for new shareholders to decide as to what the potential of Torvec is.
Dino
We know you are sheriff, but who is newspeed?
Is he a POLITIAN???? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.....
Please do not exaggerate about my postings.
<< I seem to recall Dino posting the RIT article about...oh...I don't know...a dozen times >>
What is a POLITIAN sulax?
Dino
I agree Blue.....
<< It is profoundly aggravating to see the personal sniping, baiting, and ridicule, that stays up on this board for page after page....... anything that bodes well for Torvec is OT. >>
Dino
That was a different e-mail sulax....BUT
I do agree with you that it is a favorite, and I agree with Mr. Andrew Gleasman that, after already responding to the QUESTION a week earlier, responding to the same e-mail question would be questioned as a possible waste of company time.
Thank you for the reply to my post.
Dino
YOU APPEAR TO BE CONFUSED sulax.....
In response to your post to me today. The e-mail was sent to dabreeze, who posted a "gist" on this board, NOT Dino
What was your favorite part of Mr. Andrew Gleasmans e-mail response to dabreeze?
THIS WAS MY FAVORITE....
"Right now we have some high
level meetings planned within the WH, DOE, DOD etc and we have official
invites, now we are just waiting for the multiple participants that will be
there to have a date and time that works for them. I hope to get into more
detail after the meetings.
Our guys are very positive and by the people that will be in attendance for
these meetings I tend to agree with them"
Far more info than your original "gist" dabreeze....

Subject: RE: Question
Matt,
The strategy set forth by our people in DC is like this. There are tons of
grants, low interest loans etc. The problem with just submitting a grant is
that it goes into a black hole, so our people and ourselves try to educate
members of the GOVT as to what our products are, their impact on the
environment and most importantly job creation. So when our proposals do go
cross peoples desk their boss or themselves have been briefed as to the
merits of our technology. The big delay has come from the first from having
a new administration, had to wait of people it fill new positions, then we
had the big 3 collapse that delayed everything. Right now we have some high
level meetings planned within the WH, DOE, DOD etc and we have official
invites, now we are just waiting for the multiple participants that will be
there to have a date and time that works for them. I hope to get into more
detail after the meetings.
I doubt it will be a matching funds type of grant, and it will also have to
be one with out a fee, last week I was looking at a grant program that had a
$100,000 non refundable fee, we are working to get fee waived.
Our guys are very positive and by the people that will be in attendance for
these meetings I tend to agree with them.
Lastly, RIT's lobbyists and ours are beginning to develop a strategy, which
would help Torvec secure funds so that we can make use of SEAL.
I hope this helps.
Andrew Gleasman
Excellent points made Father of Three.....
Andrew is younger than Keith and Jim but to demean him by calling him a "talented kid".....
Andrew is entitled to speak for the company, because he is part of the company....
If you don't like it buy him out or sell and move on.....
He was being proded about the federal funds as with all the other projects they are trying to complete.....
We all know how the gov't works, slow....
What good does it do to make it personal when we all know deep down they are trying to get their products out in the public hands (vehicles) so they (and us) can start getting an excellent paycheck.....
What was the gist of the reply?
I AM SURE it was different than what was posted here. I am always leary of SECOND HAND conversations with management here. These posts will always be one-sided, as Torvec is unfortunately unable to respond on this message board.
Dino
The point is a million dollars of preferred SHARES versus a million dollars of common MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE TO TORVEC AS A COMPANY AS THAT TRANSACTION PERTAINS TO THEIR BALANCE SHEET.
Dino
