Exactly where can I short AMBS?
Give me ONE brokerage firm I can call to place a short order.
Since so many people blame shorts for falling stocks, I called:
1. Schwab
2. Scottrade
3. TD Ameritrade
4. Etrade
5. Fidelity
6. OptionsXpress
7. TradeKing
8. Thinkorswim
9. TradeMonster
10. MB Trading
11. Interactive Brokers
12. Tradestation
13. Lightspeed
14. Sharebuilder
15. Choicetrade
16. Wellstrade
17. Vanguard
18. Merrill Edge
Of course, I also called a few local small brokerage firms. NONE of them will allow shorting pennies.
So tell me ONE firm that will allow shorting pennies. I will call them to DD.
Where can you short AMBS?
Schwab makes me fill out "Risky" forms just to buy pennies. When I asked them about shorting, "NO. We do not allow shorting penny stocks in your account." (Or something along those words.)
I even asked E-trade among others, none of them will let me short pennies.
The only short positions which my brokerage firm will allow me to place are "covered calls" and "naked puts" using Type 4 margin. And NO NO NO, never placed any short positions what so ever. Never have and never will. Unlimited downside with limited upside.
Rode this from 20 cents?
Stock price aside, is the company doing better now than when you first got it? (i.e. more products, more sales and less overhead)
Worst, socom. I averaged down many times. Kept believing in all the lies Mr. Stanford Grad was telling me. Finally couldn't take anymore of his BS and sold.
Now, the same lies are repeated over and over like fresh meat. Did you know some investors never bother to read the date of PRs posted here?
So ya, I hate being lied to. Worst, I believed them.
Thanks. I will do that.
WOW, molee. You've been here a long time and rode this all the way down without selling?
As a newbie, who is Asher?
Sorry, I am sure his name is somewhere on this board will try to find him later.
Is he the one OPHI is blaming for share prices crashing?
No theory. Simply trend.
With every PR comes huge flat volume. This means buyer and sellers are evenly matched. Buyers come from pump and shares come from newly issued shares for cash to pay bills.
Until AMBS can stop the printing press, stock price will to nowhere fast.
Share structure? They do have a ways to go until R/S is needed. Good luck until then. Up a few ticks and quickly back down until next pump. Unless you're an MM, spread too thin to trade for profit after commish.
And yes, the company is real. Just wish they didn't have to continually sell shares to pay bills. This hurts any short term upside.
And OH OH OH yes, we all buy AMBS for a long term hold (like we do all sub-pennies), right? LOL
".25 cents" is only $0.0025. You mean it is going down down down??? LOL
Big things? WHAT? WHAT? Do tell. We all want to make some money. Have some insider info to share?
If AMBS can hold off selling into every PR, then the stock will have a chance to move upward.
For now, even the best of PRs will be used to raise money for rent. When this changes, AMBS can really move up big time. When will this be? I want to know that too.
Oh, I thought it was money. Results are going to be good, if not they would not announce it for fear of crushing the stock even more.
Let me know when they get money, because without money....results are meaningless.
In default on $1.175 million of notes? But RBCC only has $25K in the bank and AMBS only has 500 bucks.
That means all the intellectual properties of MANF is owned by the note holders until notes are paid off?
If all debt has been transferred FOR REAL, then I would buy a ton of AMBS. No way I would take the word of a poster without public confirmation from AMBS.
Where is the PR stating all debt has been transferred? Are you saying that you have non-public information?
Voice, you've done your DD.
Beware: Negative postings have been deleted from AMBS leaving mostly PUMP postings. Wonder if any suckers can figure that out? LOL
If you can't stand the truth, delete them?
Ya, too funny.
Congrats to PUMP on being able to keep the price level while company flooding the market with new shares.
Good. Getting enough money to last a while and give it a chance to recover before next payday.
Do not know RBCC except for their filings stating only $25K in the bank. Can't buy much with that. Some folks have called them a scam, but I do not know them and have never owned any RBCC shares.
That said, if AMBS is talking to them and jointly pumping, it does not speak well of current management of AMBS. At first hint of possible scam, they should have immediately check things out and publish their findings. Don't let shareholders think the worst when it may or maybe not be the case. When shareholders get scared, they sell.
smallfish7, parking lot? Are you talking about RBCC or AMBS?
I have gone inside the AMBS building a few times. Actually, it is the Parkinson's Institute and Clinical Center. It has a huge mostly vacant parking lot and surrounded by any empty buildings (with also empty parking lots).
Yes, AMBS is a real company.
mc6102, have you read what I've posted in the past? AMBS is a poorly ran "real" company with a good mission. I even went in their lobby to pickup brochures.
AMBS is a real company, just poorly managed with no MONEY.
One of these days, a well ran big company may come along to scoop them up. Someday. Someday. Stuff that dreams are made of, right?
RBCC only has 25K in the bank. All fluff news.
It doesn't matter what term sheet when they have no money. AMBS needs money.
AMBS needs money.
AMBS needs money.
RBCC doesn't have money for AMBS. Check out RBCC latest filings. Less than 25K in the bank.
Do you have any idea how much this company owes? Ya, past due bills.
They can get grants all day long and not make a dent. So pump pump pump and watch it go down down down.
Don't worry, when AMBS crashes, you will be gone and I will be here to tell folks....told ya.
Yes, I have a few grant writer friends. So ya, like for sure.
I saw it and no $ mentioned. BTW, research grants cannot be used to pay rent and paychecks. Where are they going to get the MONEY to pay RENT???
Good luck, folks. Just watch out for all the pumpers posting old stale news like it was fresh.
Bottom line. Company has no money to pay rent or do any research.
The ONLY way to stay alive is for them to sell shares into the market. Ya, hire pumpers and hope enough suckers to bite.
BTW, I love what the company stands for in terms of trying to find a cure Parkinson’s disease. At one time, with the best of intentions along with the Michael J. Fox grant, they were well on its way of reaching their goal. Money got in their way. Not greed, but basic money needs for food, rent and research.
This does not mean the people are bad. It does mean they are BAD FOR YOU as investors. The ONLY way they know how to get money is sell more shares into the market. Ya ya ya, it crushes your stock price along with your piggybank. So sad.
All good points, but no money.
Look at the filings.
Call the CEO.
Ask, "How much money do you have in the bank?"
What? Under $1000?
How can you pay rent? How can you do research with no money? How do you pay employees?
How? Sell shares into the market. Ya, that's how.
New low.
Interesting tech doesn't seem to interest the market. Stock keeps going down with every great PR.
What is up?
Short sellers? All BS. Companies seem to use that as an excuse whenever their stock goes down. Meanwhile, I bet those guys are converting aged debt to fund the company.
YA, this crushes the stock big time.
Bid $0.016???
When did STOA stopped caring about shareholders? They going to let it fall below ONE CENT???
Seems like new shares are flooding the market everyday. Something is not right here.
Alan is nice enough guy and investor friendly. Still, the increase in volume accompanied by a downward crush would suggest newly issued shares are flooding the market.
From what source?
A. Consultants
B. Debt conversion
C. Major old shareholders
D. Shorts
E. All the above
F. All the above except no shorts
My guess is "F" and not "E." Companies blame shorters when they know themselves are selling. Hate that.
Do you have a link to info?
Running out of shares? Oh, NO. Almost reverse time to pay bills.
Shameful.
Good concept and tech, but no money to pay bills.
Why the drop and why the bounce? What's OPHI side of the story on why?
Not really. Some of it was me, buying some to average my 4.5 purchase last week.
Let's hope that pumpsters have sold all of their free shares.
Not really free, since they were paid in shares.
You can fool some of the people some of the time, but not all the people all the time.
With every pump, more people become bagholders here. Too bad.
