Tatonkano62, I posted the DNA PR over on the MUCL board last night in hopes of getting some kind of feedback from Thalio.
I am having trouble getting to any boards on RB today so I was not able to see if he responded.
Acutally I was hoping he would come back and post on CYGX for
a bit. He is focused on MUCL.
Yes to first question. They have apparently figured out a way
to make their DNA ultra pure.
2nd question: Partly due to fermentation of lactose, a disaccharide, and other lipopolysaccharides. Also included would be things like the K (capsular) antigen Escherichia possess.
After googling a bit, this process CYGX invented must be
quite a feather in their cap.
Still amazed.......
Teacher says that everytime CYGX goes up a penny an angel gets
their wings.
Chill out Nigel, it's only jello dude.
radarluv, don't think that Golden Earring won't put moonbeams in your beer so you can keep that Moon tan. One of my alltime favorite albums.
You bought CYGX at $1.00 and may be breaking even sooner than you think. 2006 is over a year away. I have a feeling that 2005 will be a fine year for CytoGenix. Others may look back at your $1.00 purchase with much envy in the year to come. JMO
PS-> I'm beginning to sound like Scooby.
jranda, CNBC will eventually be talking about CYGX. Maybe not now as an OTCbb but someday in the not too distant future.

Why is 1 million a magic number? Volume is good. Price keeps going up. Not going to argue over whether this means more good things to come, but it is funny how this occurred suddenly last week and keeps on going as if there are those in the know.
If this is only over an invention patent for a purified DNA process I will be be surprised. Tend to think something more going on behind the scenes. Just my opinion.
CD_98
I think there is more here than what meets the eye. Price and volume are still good to go. My opinion, there is more nice news on the way.
It could be just the DNA PR, but if it were just that then why didn't CYGX just keep the momentum after the PR? I tend to think there is something else that drove the share price to
its current level again plus the renewed large volume days.
Would love to think somebody heard something. Guess we will find out on Monday. If volume is sustained and price keeps creeping up I would be inclined to think the company has
more good news coming.
Merry Christmas everyone!
CD_98
Ditto that post holycow. Seems as though something transpired
to create all this activity.
BTW, I think most investors like us feel inadequate when it comes to trying to figure out why things like this happen with no news.
Nothing at all to do with Scooby or Hogger. In fact I would be surprised if ANY message board had a "real" effect on any
stock.
"Something has people excited."
Sure looks that way, doesn't it Tantonkano. Past two days with
above average volume, yesterday with a price spike followed by todays volume and an added 3 cent rise.
Did not expect this to happen either.
Makes for two things not expected. The DNA PR and the sharp rise in price and volume.
I will be making a decision over the holidays. I may end up dumping one for another. We'll see how it goes.
Thoughts anyone?
TIA

Tatonkano, good job with the pictures. Nice to put faces with the names.

Wow!! Just look at that share price go UP and UP!
I think Cytogenix caught people WAY off gaurd with that
announcement. Make no mistake, this is big in that there
are companies whose primary business is to make purified
proteins. Purified DNA...... well now.
Sorry if I seem to be pumping, but I just cannot help it.
I know how hard it was to purify proteins when I worked for DuPont in the Plant Disease section of Ag Products.
Almost tempted to call my old boss. I'm sure he would be
overly impressed.
Still cannot get over it....
Yeeehaaaa!
Dr. Jim, I do think if Cytogenix has a unique process of making purified DNA much more cost effectively than what is currently being used that they can patent a process to that end.
MS is a patent attorney, so I would venture to guess that he should know what is and isn't patentable.
I would tend to think that we may get a temporary increase in SP and if no more significant news we will go back into the high $0.20 range again. Read some other posts where some folks thought the same thing.
There is too much going on with Cytogenix at the moment for it not to be an accumulate and hold. Maybe those other older longtime posters just gave up on CYGX because they were told
things would start happening like they are now a few years ago. This year sure has been a good news year for CYGX.
CD_98
Love this PR!! It is significant. Patent and FDA approval may take a while, but once they have them they will finally have some revenues coming in. And yes, I would expect nothing less.
If I were Cytogenix I would milk this baby for all its worth and more.
From previous posts it looks as if CYGX had this DNA production
facility in the works for a while now.
This is BIG.
Wonder if Thalio thought this would ever happen?
It sure was a pleasant surprise to me!!! WOW! HOLY FREAKIN COW!!
Christmas does come early.....
)))))))))))))))))
Paulness, without fully knowing the details involved in each lawsuit it may be easy to say Bubbles Friend is just blowing smoke, however, IF and only IF Bubbles is somewhat correct about management being that inept, then it is reason to worry.
Personally I have only defended management because I gave them the benefit of the doubt and as the hierarchy of this company they are supposed to have a responsibilty to US, the shareholders. They are not only supposed to balance the company side of things in what they do, but also do it in a fashion that is of benefit to stockholders in this company.
Most top management in many companies miss that last part though.
Bottomline is that as a shareholder I don't really give a rats
butt about ANYONE in the upper level management of this company so long as the COMPANY comes out of it and continues its progression.
The one thing I will say about posters on RB CYGX board is that they seem to not only denounce management, but they also
denounce this as not being a viable technology when the proof
of the technology being pretty sound is very good so far.
Neo knows that something as trivial as a disagreement between parties can sometimes be the downfall of a company, tech or no tech.
Why are(is) those guys (that guy) posting all of that doubt
on RB when there hasn't really been any price moving news of late? What is the agenda? Vendetta?
Many of the old old timers either don't post anymore or have left completely. Is this play that far long a play? Or did they just get disgusted with management too?

Chucker, I think the attack on Pearl Harbor has been overshadowed by what happened on 9/11, not that it should be,
but that is just how history is. Those that forget the past are doomed to repeat the past.
Not many of that generation (WWII veterans) left Chucker, and especially those who were at Pearl Harbor at that particular time.
What special people that generation was.
God bless them!
Neo, she makes her political point, but I am sure not everyone in the Democratic Party has clean hands when it comes to the pharma industry pushing drugs down the pipeline.
What she does point out is that money and greed call the shots. Unfortunately it often takes something like a Vioxx
to finally send up a red flag.
And Bush thinks tort reform is the answer? I hope he doesn't mean to apply tort to the pharmas too. Quality control and quality assurance should be enforced to the max with pharmas as well as docotrs, both in the phase trials of getting a drug to the public safely and in the operating room to assure patients don't have needles or gauze left in their bodies as well as the right procedure perfomed to begin with.
The problem #1 problem I see in the healthcare industry is
GREED at our expense.
CD_98
Another "body" may end up taking over for the FDA under which inspections go unannounced. Another problem for the FDA are the payoffs from pharmaceutical companies so that certain sites pass inspections. I know of one API who hired a former FDA employee to take care of inspection matters. That API
had numerous problems and at the time this guy was hired had a written warning. Former employees were surprised to find out the site passed the next FDA inspection. Was it legit?
Who knows. Awefully suspicious though.
Yes, the FDA is under tremendous scrutiny. Many pharmas are going to have to get their acts together with this new "body".
CD_98
Once the IND gets started it will be interesting to see what BIG news is released at that time. INDs cost lots of $$$.
It is apparent to me that in order to carry through CYGX will not be able to finance this thing by itself.
Just somthing to think about in the coming months. Not a bad thing, but quite the opposite I would tend to think.
CD_98
grrdvm1, my last post about the FDA really didn't have anything to do with CYGX directly, but it has to do with how the FDA will be scrutinized, and in turn will pass that scrutiny onto pharmas/biotechs to cover their butts.
The pharma that I work at got word that an independent agency may be set up. Visits to our site may happen without prior warning. Right now we get word the FDA is coming, but in the future this may not happen.
Amazing how one slip up in a drug like Vioxx can have have such possible implcations for both the company and the FDA.
Have a great holiday.
CD_98
The FDA is in a box alright! They may not be as easy to deal with as before DRCAL. They are being watched VERY carefully.
Lots of squirming at the FDA right now. Vioxx sent a red flag
to the Hill as Merck claims they gave the FDA the proper information about Vioxx. Right now it looks as if the FDA dropped the ball. This is NOT the first time I've heard of
dirty deeds done dirt cheap by the FDA. I have my reservations about the FDA at times.
CD_98
DRCAL, just curious as to how and why you have just found this out. Believe me when I post that CYGX is already well known among pharmaceutical/biotech companies and has been for quite a while now. Glad you had an awakening. This is still
a risky play, however, what rewards are without risk?
Hope you can recapture a position in CYGX in the near future.

Previous post was about (small interferring)siRNA, not mRNA as the active.
From the Philadelphia NBC affiliate, channel 10 news:
There was a story tonight about mRNA being used in phase I
clinicals in Cleveland Ohio for treatmant of macular degeneration.
Press Release about the company and its product:

Captain, go out to Pep Boys and buy some Bondo. If you have some screening in the house you can use it to form a cover over the rusted whole on your fender. I know how things can get between a man and his truck. I am partial to my Ford as she has served me well over the past 11 years. Don't want any rust on her wells.
Good luck with the truck.
Your wife sounds like she's fun. What's her number?

TO ALL: Charlie Rose has some interesting guests on his show to discuss the Pharmaceutical/Biotech sector. Some interesting talk about anti-inflamatories and drugs that target lung cancer.
The mapping of the human genome was a big part of the discussion.
Charlie Rose is aired on PBS. MPT if you live in Maryland.

Also, what is "CD Vulture"?
Green Acres, that would be me.
I've patiently been in CYGX for a long time. Have not sold
one share and occasionally accumulate more when prices are
low like they are now.
If that is the definition of a VULTURE, then I am honored.
Although I prefer to be his brother the Raven instead. )))
Cheers!

Phanuel dropped the ball, or so it appears.
BACKGROUND
In July and August, 2003, Phanuel entered into three agreements with CYGX. One was later modified in October, 2003. Phanuel undertook an ambitious plan to develop and market CYGX's products in foreign countries. It was the obligation of Phanuel to seek regulatory approval in those countries for the sale of CYGX's products. This they were inadequately capitalized, and woefully inexperienced to do.
Despite having a viable product to obtain approval of, they completely failed to pursue any approval by regulatory authorities in any significant manner.
Thanks Arnold
Greed overcomes hope any day of the week. Isn't that right PP?
Arnold and Ilene, nice work. Thanks. (EOM)
Management also must be careful not to "give" this technology away, as is the case with China and Pfizer (Viagra). I am sure that getting human trials underway must have been very tempting for current management so that they could get some preliminary data when it came time to submit such to the FDA.
Good that they did not go the PP route. The current suit situation may be the reason why information concerning the herpes topical was suddenly turned off and may have no bearing on the efficacy and safety of the product itself. JMHO
CD_98
John, don't pay peace any attention, although he/she craves it. MS and LW may not be the best, but CYGX certainly could do worse. Could you imagine a fortune 500 company like DuPont
buying Conaco in the mid eighties, holding it for about 12 or so years and then selling Conaco when oil prices were the cheapest they had been in 10 years??? They made more blunders too, like letting Bill Gore start his own company using PTFE (Teflon) to create W.L.Gore (Gortex). Also let's not forget
Cephalon and it's former founder Frank Baldino, a Dupont/Merck employee. Yeah, DuPont let him get away too!
Wonder how Cephalon is doing today? And peace wants to talk about inept management? At least CYGX doesn't have Chad Holiday to lead the management team. In that case I would agree about the idiocy segments.
So if peace wants to talk about dillution and how it is going to sink the SP of CytoGenix I would like to remind him/her
that it will not matter how much the shares outstanding get dilluted if the technology does not work anyway. His/her investment won't be worth spit on the sidewalk! Ha!!
Now IF the technology really does work, which it looks like it does, then it really won't matter that this issue has some dillution built in. He/she will still get a great return on investment. Much more than they could imagine.
Still have peace on iggy, but I can tell by the number of posters responding and the content of his/her posts that they
are getting sick of this broken record harping on management
too.
Enough already! Have the balz to show up at the shareholders to tell LW and MS how you really feel about them peace.
But I probably won't see you there........
You can even have the satisfaction of telling me I'm an idiot to my face.
PAX! LOL!!!
CD_98
Know folks who recently left Merck due to downsizing. The company could be historical in the near future.
One reason why long term studies should not be taken lightly.
In this case even short term studies should have revealed the dangers. Makes one wonder if greed isn't the prevailing factor
in most everything.
green_acres, excellent post. (eom)
Nice holycow! Good post!! There is the method behind the madness! Something definitely turned this situation into a matter CYGX would rather not be involved with at this time.
Another hint may be contained in one of the more recent CEOcasts.
JMO
Again, peace on you, I ask you why you continually flog managment other then to call them names? Give specifics.
If this "train" takes off from the station then I guess you will have been outted as bashing management for no reason.
BTW, I think even rusty offered some sort of lame reasoning as to why he was so hell bent again this managment.
So far all you do is a "mantra".
Inquiring minds want to know.....
Post 12290. Got it marked down.
=>JUst firing LW could do a tremendous boost for CYGX. Mark my words if it happens, CYGX will move 50% in one day, imo.<=
Okay peace, if he gets the boot I will be watching the SP
like a hawk.
Still have not answered my question. Why do you have such a hard-on for management.
Now Hogger has his reasons why he isn't so keen on this management and gave his reasoning, but you just foam at the
mouth like some rabid squirrel. Come on out with it. Spew.
Maybe you are out of the loop????
Come on, what is it really, that has your panties all bunched up? Some detail would help.
I'm sure it will be good......
OT:That is your opinion peace. President of which nation?
Not mine. You can follow him whether you voted for him or not. He is a moron. That is my opinion. I am entitled to my opinion whether you like it..... or not.
And is that the best you can do? Ran my mouth like diarehea??
Perhaps you had best learn to spell, or is it you went to Harvard Business School too? LMAO!!!
Correct spelling is diarrhea. Your agenda concerning CYGX has
diarrhea written all over it.
Putting you on iggy.
All my best!
CD_98
peace, hate to break it to you but many of us own thousands of shares. Put your friggin ego on hold. It would not matter to me if you own 1 million shares or 10 shares, if you feel this management is not in your best interest then it is up to you and others who feel the same to put the pressure on and get rid of them. Venting on this forum is doing nothing toward that end. This shareholders should be interesting to say the least.....
