Looking at cannabis stocks this am and noticed SRNA is making quite the move today. You had posted a chart on this one week or so ago. Could you do an updated chart and your thoughts on today's movement with SRNA. Thanks.
Last run? If there was a run prior to today, then I guess I missed it. As far as somebody knowing something,....I think all of us invested here have known that this is a real company that has real employees and real revenue for quite some time. The rest of the investing community is just starting to figure that out. I can't wait for 2nd quarter #'s and reflector preorder #'s. There is a reason they need more room for production suddenly. Go SRNA!
We will. This company is growing rapidly in the infancy of this industry. This industry is the fastest growing industry in America right now. This industry is one of the hottest topics in the media and politics right now, and is almost certain to be a hot topic in the upcoming presidential race. The cream of the industry will rise to the top. Patents on liquid cooled lighting makes Surna very creamy in my opinion.
What are the authorized shares? And how many outstanding?
Oregon recreational marijuana takes effect July 1st. Someone manipulating getting ready for Oregon legalization? Marijuana stocks almost have to gain a little bit tomorrow with Oregon going legal tomorrow. Just look back to jan 2012 when CO legal marijuana went into effect. The 3rd state being legal is a huge news event for this industry that is still in its infancy. Each state adds to the legitimacy of the cannabis industry as a whole.
Revenue estimates for the reflector:
2016-$7.7mil
2017-$13.2mil
2018-$23.6 mil
Didn't start listening to the call until about 17 minutes in. Wish I would have started listening sooner.
I'm thinking this is the quiet before the storm. People are just waiting for confirmation that this company is making revenue. I hope the numbers speak for themselves for Surna and this thing takes everyone by surprise.
The only company to come off they gray market, has issued their quarterlies and other financial statements the entire time they were gray. Very disappointed that Growlife has not been doing the same.
Yeah, why have they not continued to issue their financial statements? Even while still on the grays. If the company really had no part in why they got suspended, why not continue business as usual. They should have released the quarterly reports from all of last year while they were suspended. Let shareholders see if they are still in business or not. It would sure add to their credibility as being a legit, money making company that no longer belongs on the gray market.
There is no need for revenue projections. We will all get to see their 1st quarter revenue from 2015 in a couple weeks. Patience.
The difference in that HVAC guy you know in Washington State and SURNA is efficiency. If SURNA's patent applied for chillers and reflector lights run with greater efficiency than the current standard, HVAC and lighting systems, they will save the grower a huge amount of money. Utilities are absolutely one of the largest expenses in an indoor grow. Every percent more efficient a grow can be as far as their utilities goes is a great savings and addition to income.
A bit of good news for the whole cannabis industry though today. The head of the DEA, Michele Leonhart, resigned today. This woman couldn't even answer a question as to which is more harmful, marijuana or heroin? Hopefully the next DEA head will listen to the science.
Shannon1, all your trying to do is to put a scare into investors here. There is no 'Breach of fiduciary duty' as you state in your post. They filed an extension, companies do it all the time. They have until tomorrow, we'll all see what happens then.
The SEC only halted the most legit of the MJ stocks. The Feds have never wanted the average citizen to have fair access to this plant. That's why this plant has been so persecuted over the last 80 years. You think the Feds were just gonna let legit companies like Growlife turn a bunch of stoners into millionaires? I can hear the orders that were given to the SEC to halt MJ companies.
Feds: We can't let all these stoners get rich off these MJ stocks! Put a halt on them!
SEC: All of them?
Feds: No, that would look too obvious. Just halt the ones that are becoming too successful too quick. The scams will fall apart by themselves.
SEC: Yes sir, and we'll say we're doing it to protect the small investor.
I agree with you. I have no idea why they would partner with FITX either. Never the less, the fact is they are our partner.
Our partner, RXNB, is supposed to have the ability to grow twice the bud in half the time. Combine that with stackable grow-pods and you could maybe grow quite a bit per cubic foot. 1.3mil pounds though is stretch no matter how you use your space.
So they have to get their property re zoned and will cost more time and $. Patience. It will all happen in good time.
I hope
PHOT deserves an apology from the SEC and to be taken off of Grey market IMO. They did nothing wrong. They simply sell the tools to grow plants.
It's not that they're not welcome in Lakeshore. Let's be honest. The town of Lakeshore is just trying to get as big a piece of the pie as they can from CEN Bio coming to town. The property tax rates on industrial land are far higher than on agriculture land. The town wants the higher tax rate. Always all about $$$$.
The 30th
or big Pharma
Yeah. Its obvious at this point the SEC is unfairly targeting the cannabis sector.
Town probably wants to make sure they can tax the property at a rate higher than they would tax an ordinary farm style 'pole barn'. Everyone wants their piece of the pie including the town.
Yeah, My thoughts are that if CANN and PHOT both got suspended and lost half of their value because of what 'third parties' were doing with their stock, I wouldn't touch a stock that Seeking Alpha covers. Maybe they are the manipulative 'third party'. Just my thoughts.

Suspension of PHOT a result of 3rd party... News here:

These people writing these articles are the ones dazed and confused. How does this jack a$$ know what 2016 revenues are gonna be for PHOT anyway. Same old scare tactics they have been using for years to demonize marijuana, now this guy uses those fears to scare investors. FACT is, there is a huge market already in place. FACT is that there are billions to be made in this market. This guy is trying his best to scare people.
Exactly my point. There is already a law regarding driving under the influence of a controlled substance. If you are impaired then you absolutely should get a DUI. We already have that law, so whats the point of making another law that does the same thing. Our politicians should concentrate on making laws we need. Not making laws, to strong arm states into doing what they want or federal funds get withheld. I still would like to see numbers as to the amount of accidents and deaths resulting from drivers impaired on cannabis. I think that is needed to justify withholding funds from states.
My question is....Are there so many accidents due to cannabis impaired drivers that we need to make this law? I would like to see some numbers explaining the harm caused by 'cannabis impaired' drivers. Surely there must be thousands of accidents and deaths due to 'cannabis impaired' drivers if they are going to make a law to protect the public from it. If there is no evidence of harm caused ( accidents, deaths) by people who drive on cannabis, then this is another law taking away part of our freedom. Politicians creating a problem where none exists. People have been driving on cannabis since the 60's man. Surely there must be some horrific numbers regarding cannabis and driving for our politicians to make a federal law about it.
I think you may be right Papa
This gap down must be filled just like gaps up must get filled.
Maybe we get news that we met and exceeded our revenue projections in 2013!? Fusion Pharm had 38% revenue growth in 2013, and we supply their pods with the hydro equip??? 4th Qt sales #'s had to be good in Colorado too, as a lot of people were getting their grow closets started.
Yup. Whose light and hydro equipment did you think Fusion Pharm has been installing in their pods?!!
Don't forget about Fusion Pharm. We have a deal with them as well. I don't know exactly whats going on over there, but their stock has been on absolute fire all Jan. Should be good for PHOT as well IMO.
Except PHOT is not 'dumping' shares as you would say. They are buying companies that produce revenues with shares. Building company value with shares.
I'm guessing LED's to be more energy efficient. Goes along with all the solar panels on the roof.
Exactly, do the numbers real quick.
1.3 mil lbs X $2000/lb = $2.6 Billion
Our 7.7% would be $200,200,000.00
Plus the $100,000,000.00 Bonus once FITX produces 1 mil lbs.
Plus payments for lease of equipment.
By this time next year thats $300+ Million just from this one GIFT.
I think it would be great if PHOT also owed the entire property and building as well. For future 'GIFT' recipients who don't necessarily have a location for their grow.
