As important as updates are to us, they aren't the top priority to Mgmt. Most people don't realize that, our mgmt team is essentially 2. JJ and Greg, They have much bigger fish to fry and have been fairly busy with dealing with all the logistics, negotiations, travel etc.
It is what it is.
AS much as we all would like an official update, me especially, as I think it will launch the stock and get it on a roll for the JV announcement, they have their reasons for doing what they are doing. I may disagree with some of the marketing strategies, but all will be a distant memory once they get it done.
UPDATE from KMN at MP Just in

I was able to get some information today on where we are in wrapping up this JV. I think it will depend on how long this part will take whether we get an update or news.
First group has both offer sheet and contract finished.
The other offer sheets are in.
The other offers are now in the process of being put into contractual language.
Also I want to comment on a persistant rumour that will not go away and is going around like fact. THERE IS NO MONEY TIED TO ANY OF THE OFFERS. When the JV partner is chosen after all the contractual language is finished. The contract will be signed and at that time the money will be handed over. While there are 3 groups these groups are mostly made up of the same companies in different mixes and order. All these companies have been around for a year and a half to two years.
JJ and Greg are going over all the information from the groups on a daily basis. There were minor changes that JJ and Greg asked for that are being added to the contract language. Until all the contractual language is finished they can not make their decision as there are differences to each of the deals. All these groups have good offers but the variations need to be looked at in finial language so the deal that best suits us can be chosen.
I will offer no timeline but do feel this is well in hand and that JJ and Greg are on top of this part of the process and doing a great job. Kirk
First: someone at MP said that they can remember when it was over $3.00 or $10.00 a share, I forget which, do you recall the 12 year high? Not sure why or when, but I know it was up there big time.
Actually MG is a Storm Chaser for kicks
Some Skydive he is a storm chaser.
BTW if you think a lot of old timers are flipping this thing for a half a cent or so, I have land in Florida with your name on it. Think they have been here for years waiting to flip at .038 ish. Clearly you must be talking of another Stock, ;0)
Lights on, NOBODY Home
I would say this board is in hibernation vs Dead, I believe that Post JV, it will be a useful tool and will be active again, but as of now, I concur.
Absolutely, the SP is in between consolidation mode and MM's Shorting. I personally am very pleased it settled around the .027 mark today, could've easily ran down to .0325, but hey tomorrow is another story. I don't really care, as I to converned about the announcement being imminent to flip. If I knew we had a ocupel more weeks, then I'd be in and out a few times, but, like my pappy always said
" don't get caught watching the paint dry" or maybe that was Dennis Hoffman in Hoosiers, I forget, anyway, Flippers Be Warned, is it worth a few extra bucks to risk being sold out when the Announcement Hits? Good Luck
Blockman, thanks for the note earlier. Totally Makes sense. I love what they do over there and once this baby pops, I will join in the fun. Love to see these guys squirm by locking down the float.
Medinuh, Absolutely Correct, anyone trying to trade Pinkies for small profits will lose more often than not. That is what the NYSE and NASDAQ is for, or Futures Trading is for. This is the land of the HOME RUN BAAAAABY, Grand Slam outtttiiieeee Here.
This is not for the faint of heart, you can throw away the charts, the gifted trading brilliance and everyones wisdom they've gained by trading stock. This is a unique breed of cat, in all my years of planning, I have never seen anything like that, and the fact that they are legally telling everyone that it is enroute is a beautiful thing. I just started a file of info in case this thing rockets I want to let them know this is public info, you might want to also. If it hits and your account Rocks big time, hmmmm.
I personally am all in on this one stock, sold everythign else, and been stealin from the wife for a year or so, and I used to be a financial planner, no wonder I sucked at it. I may be sleeping in one of them cardboard castles shortly.
HAHA, the PMG Gang tells me what a mistake I am making every day.
GONNAA BE A GOOD WEEK, ( sung to the tune of ain't She Sweet, Seeher Walkin Down the Street . . .)
Is it MONday Yetttttt, geeezzzzzz? Come on Already . . to quote the Great GEO.
Hey Round, Great Evaluation, Don't companies usually trade between 5-10 times Book Value?
Let's hope this is The Chosen One
I am currently shopping for Cruises, lucky rabbits feet & Horseshoes. The PMG gang pointed out that I will definitely need them and more haha.
I don't think I will be able to sleep till after Monday.
Is your truck loaded, I wish I had more Cerro, personally, your thoughts?
TUP
Blockman, In your opinion, would Cerro Dorado make a good candidate for an FLD for Monk & Group? Given the decent float and what is hopefully in the cue. Not sure how active the MM's are shorting here, but if they are this could be a good burial ground. I know the float at MDMN is ridiculously high but it is so massively nakedly shorted, it might be a thought as well, at least something to look at? I know you guys have a lot going on at present.
Here are a few reposts of selective text from some MP regarding MDMN, for those that don't visit there.
April 17, 2010, 11:35:55 PM
"Juan has given the players who have yet to step up to the plate until Monday or he goes with what he knows. That would be the first offer. One of their geologists is well known to many here and he has said this is going to get done he just isn't sure if he gets some work or it goes to the big boys.
There is the second group and that is probaably Juan's real want. They are huge and I think Juan thinks this is better for us from a partnership aspect. Yes they would be the Brazillians. I think they have their offer they just want them to deposit their money in escrow. Everybody says there are no checks attached and they are correct it is all money transfers, wires which were set up some time ago.
I am sure there are those out there who disagree so let the shooting begin......look for an announcement next week. Again I don't think there will be an update."

"Just a few points for waiting out the weekend.
All groups have performed, in other words we are not waiting on offer sheets to come in.
We will be going with a very professional PR company that will start at the announcement. These guys are in the big leagues. They will be the ones who answer the phones when the announcement is made. They are ready to go. They are a full service company.
They will be using Jim Stock for his business wire as the other group uses a higher service. They want the announcement out on all channels.
Do not look for anyone to be traveling to Chile for the announcement. They will be where they need to be so they can give this the direction it needs. For example Les will be in his office as his real work will just be beginning when this is announced."
GEO, has his dynamite ready to roll, Mike Gold has rediscovered his Goat Cheese, so that should tell us all something. My advice is to load the truck up with the Big Two.

Let's Play Just What If Without Personal Opinions. Let's pretend this does happen for a couple of minutes here:
If I could nicely ask the PMG (Pessimistic Gang), to humor me and pretend for a couple of minutes that this really happens lets'say Tuesday or by the end of the month. Put your brains to work a little harder than they have been lately.
I have some questions about how to manage sudden wealth should it fall in my lap Despite ME.
If anyone wants to post opinions on whether it will or won’t, just don’t. Humor me here, play along if you can.
Anyway, my questions have to deal with what technically might come down in a post JV environment. I know some of you think this could be no big deal, but whether it is or not is irrelevant, just curious how this type of thing plays out. Me and Anyone holding signficant postions in this stock will soon discover if we found the right place at the right time. I know for me it would be a first, haha. Personally I am all in, me thinks the odds are good.
Here are my questions:
Q 1. It is my understanding that when JV'S becomes official, the Major will announce first, followed by a Jr. Is this protocol is it usually done via a press conference or a Market Wire Updates, press releases or how and why does
Q 1. It is my understanding that when JV'S becomes official, the Major will announce first, followed by a Jr. Is this protocol is it usually done via a press conference or a Market Wire Updates, press releases or how and why does the major usually announce first?
Q 2 & 3. Once both parties officially announce a JV has been consummated, is the trading of the stock halted for re-evaluation due to the substantial material change or does it just keep rolling through? If trading is halted, who requests the halt, SEC or some other govt agency, market makers, the company etc ?
Q 3 & 4. Pretend, for the sake of this fun little post , that trading is halted once the JV has been announced, and the Re-Evaluated SP comes out at .40 and during the next couple of trading sessions it escalates to $1-2.00 with profit taking, retracements, and big volume all along the way, what type of obstacles do you think the MM's will put in the way to keep the SP down to cut their losses? This stock is obviously one of the biggest shorted stock in MM History. What type of strategies could Medinah enlist to support the SP.
Q 4. Last Question, during the immediate trading sessions following a POST JV hell is always breaking loose, stock accounts are numbingly escalating, peoples brains are in lala land, volume is off the chart etc etc. Should one try and sell into the rally, wait for retracement and rebuy? How should this stock get played?
I have also noticed that lots of posts have been deleted along with the permanent posts on the top that were posted by the Moderators, only to be replaced by ADMIN. Unfortunately many of the moderators have been restriced here so I doubt I will find out why, but who really cares. Personal Counsel will be reviewing this post to be sure no T O S Rules have been violated, for what thats worth.
However, the important question is….
Is it Monday Somewhere Yet, Pleasssssseeeeeeee? I cannot wait to watch the show next weeeeeek. ohhhhhh, another sleepless night enroute I can see it coming, fortunately on the left coast it is still before midnight haha. Oh well better open more red. Cya on the other Side. Adios

LP is not an Officer of MDMN or NPER. He is an investor, last I heard even Investors with shady pasts can still invest in the stock market, or is that restricted yet.
What some of the newbies here need to do is to ask the questions, could forces be at working against this stock price. Anyone say NAKED SHORTS.
hmmmmmm. Good Luck, and read between the lines, or posts if you might want to call some of these that.

Many feel that the imminent JV is close to being announced. Rumor has it that JJ nixed a Shareholder Update, as he prefers to announce the Agreement instead.
I'm off to Pebble Beach for some early celebratin.
Peace Out and Great weekend to all.
Nahh, not really, this is such a flippable stock, it runs up, gets flipped, then settles back again. I just hope the flippers don't get to burned. I hope it will begin consolidating before the Joint Venture Announcement in the .03 - .04 range. Lots of large and smart money is finding its way over is what I am hearing.
Seems to be having a bit of a run up, lots of rumors surrounding possible weekend announcements. Personally, nothing can shock me with MDMN any more, why take the chance, SP probably wown't get much cheaper unless flippers happen, pre Joint Venture Agreement.
Ride the Pony, No Flippin Till Liftoff
Sleep I've been hanging out at theminingplay.com, good place for you to find some due diligence, lots of long time holders over there.
You are in the right place at the right time. Grab as much as you can. GL
Rich, That OFFICIAL Shareholder Update will be the foreword in the book that I am sure will be written once this is played out.
All hell is about to break loose is the phrase those in the know seem to be using. Hope you got a bunch Zenon, it is a share volume play.
Not trying to Pump, just look at the facts. This is not rocket science here, most of us are stuck in our own past, which prohibits future exploration and gain. If you can get past your own past history with this twisted stock and look at the present you will have a shot at the future.
I personally am done buying, I am all in on this one. I do not flip so pre JV Stock Price whether it be .02 - .04 - .06 is irrelevant. I would not advise anyone flipping at this time, later, who knows, but not now.
This is a one trick pony and a once in a lifetime shot at a big prize, this is why people screw around with these pinkies and many of you have no clue you are holding the golden ticket. This stock is all about the JV Period end of story, anything else is nonsense.
Is this the chosen one? I believe so. Those of you bashing with agendas I understand, those of you bashing without agendas, my condolences.
The Stock market creates approximatly 100 overnight millionaires per month. Most are created becasuse they purchased the right stock at the right time. Nothing more nothing less.
If you are on the fence, get in this for the right reason, the JV Announcement, not the short term pump.
Good Luck to everyone.
Anyone know where I can find some moldy goat cheese to celebrate .
I'm outta here.
MDMN Countdown, the next couple of hours COULD definitely be the most important in MDMN History and the end of the cheap shares as we know it. I would not want to be going into this weekend wanting shares and for some reason delaying for a better price. We could wake up to a frenzy on Monday, or better yet a trading halt due to a significant material change to the corp.
Even though we've heard the next week story time after time, the indicators and multiple sources are saying we will soon be discussing last week as well.
I wouldn't want to be short at this point in time.
FLD Short Squeeze Strategies to become stronger and reach targets quicker. This is a repost from brecciaboy over at theminingplay.com. I personally have not done any homework on it, but I thought it worthy to pass on to this board so some of you can do your research on it, as if it is as I read it, once this is in effect as a new rule halting or limiting Short Sellers when a company experiences a 10% loss is scheduled to kick in 1/1/2011.
BTW, I love what you do here and plan to join in on the fun sooner than later.

I just finished a chapter in Book #9 that deals with what appears to be happening in Medinah's market today. I call them "pulse-like" attacks. As you might have read due to the lobbyists for the abusive short sellers we no longer have an "Uptick Rule" in the U.S. after 74 years of it operating quite well. This means that abusive short selling market makers can "semi-legally" knock out bid after underlying bid in a serial fashion. Their purpose is to induce selling and dissuade buying. It's also referred to as "shaking the tree" to get the "weak-stemmed" shareholders to panic sell. Unfortunately this is often the older investors unable to risk a total meltdown in their investment. The pattern of the selling gives away the intent as the sellers don't seem to care what they get for their sales. A buyer will be gladly willing to pay a certain price yet the sellers just keep whacking away at bids. Legitimate "long" sellers don't act like this. If somebody puts in a "market sell order" then it's tough to tell what's going on unless the erratic selling is accompanied by an acceleration of the efforts of Internet bashers. If you see that then it's definetely a "pulse-like" attack. The most courageous one I've witnesseed was on "Dendreon" a biotech with a briliant prostate cancer cure. There was an announement on the Internet stating that at 11:30 CST we're attacking "Dendreon". Sure enough the share price went down 70% within minutes.
Part of the psychology is to induce existing shareholders to sell once the share price gets back to a certain pre-attack level. Mentally investors will decide that the next time the share price gets back to "X" level I'm out of here; this was too scary. Fear and geed are the two main emotions associated with investing and fear is much stronger than greed. These attacks are typically accompanied by Internet bashers accelerating their efforts and often stating "I told you it was a scam; next time you'll listen". These attacks can be very effective and they're often executed out of desperation prior to corporate breakthroughs. Let's hope so. These attacks can be a huge blessing in disguise for corporations with access to cash. What I do is have management teams with cash put on a big old catcher's mitt and keep large "stink bids" in at 10-15% below market. On 1/1/2011 a new "alternate uptick rule" with a 10% "circuit breaker" will kick in. What this means is that after a company has lost 10% of its share price on any given day the "uptick rule" will kick in barring any short selling unless it is on an "uptick" or "zero plus tick". This stays in effect for the rest of that day plus the next trading day. From 1/1/2011 management wants to set their "stink bid" at 9.9% below yesterday's closing price. A corporation with access to a fair amount of cash cannot be destroyed. With access to cash the psychology actually changes from being afraid of attacks to welcoming them especially if you're trading at ridiculously cheap share price levels wherein a little bit of cash can allow management to buy back and cancel a lot of shares. Picture a company able to buy back 90% of its shares with only 10% of its assets.
The delivery failures associated with these attacks are mandated to be covered by a "purchase" or a "borrow" by the opening of trading on T+6 if the selling was done by a bona fide MM otherwise it must be closed out by the morning of T+4..

Round,
Thanks for Sharing the Ramblings.
Everything that is occuring and the various conversations people are hearing from multiple directions seems to be following a logical progression of the process that seems to be unfolding rapidly.
BTW,I read where approximately 100 Overnight Millionaires a month in the U S A, are created by Simply Investing in the Right Stock at the Right Time. They didn't mention anything about the pain and suffering all the nights before.
Time is ripe to get this party started.

If there is no others willing to buy at the ask, it is irrelevant. There needs to be a united front to excel at this game. The Naked Shorts Feed on Bid.
Ex Blockman, What is your thought on buyng at the bid or ask?
HI everybody, I thought I'd stop in to say hi and tout the virtues of Buying at the Ask.
When you buy at the Bid or put in orders less than the bid you are loading the guns of the MM's. If you already are holding the stock , then you are shooting yourself in the foot when you try need help driving the SP down, then undercut the bid, they will love you long time.
I know it goes against the grain, but it takes so little to move the SP down on these types of stocks, when you come in at the bid or less the MM's are selling you their Air Shares and you are playing their game.
Repeat after me BUY at the ASK. If you don't get it Ask Monk or Ex Blockman. GLTA
