DPChicago..That's pure speculation on your part and I think you should end your statements saying "In My Humble Opinion" (IMHO). Unless of course you have proof which I seriously doubt.
I've read every one of his posts and he seems like a genuine shareholder that's lost $ like everyone else and is trying to make a difference by getting this stock some visability.

I have to agree. He's only doing his job. I just noticed that he had posted a message there and found it interesting. Mainly because we have the same CEO. I would naturally prefer that our CEO focus on GOIG and concentrate his efforts to increase our shareholder value.
JMHO
Mike
I don't think that's the case at all. He can't post on the GOIG board because he's emplyed by the company and considered Investor Relations which requires him to pay over $100/month to be able to post here as I recall.
That company may actually be paying GOIG to do stock updates using their stock symbol keyword. Wasn't he hired by GOIG to do those for other companies as well?
Interestingly it apears that Bigsky can post a message on another board that Ike is the CEO of. That particular company rates an audio update while those holding GOIG wait patiently for an update. Hmmmmm

Hi Dolphin! I've been fine just riding our GOIG rollercoaster in one direction so far. Hoping for a pleasent ride up with the rest of the longs.
GLTY
Has anyone noticed that it appears as though Bigsky can post again? I wonder if he knows this yet?
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/profilea.aspx?user=188033
No problem. I understand how you feel. Hopefully we see some greener pasture soon!
Mike
I haven't checked into them personally but at least I haven't heard anyone saying anything bad about them so that's a positive. If you read some of Bigskyivestor's posts there seems to be a lot of things in the works. You decide for yourself but we'd love to have you onboard with us when you feel comfortable.

Mike
Me too! Hopefully it's enough for others like Marine-1 to feel comfortable enough to invest in GOIG, in spite of MMG. I for one would love to have him here with us.
JMHO
Mike
Nice to see you come out of the weeds and check in Marine-1. I thought maybe you already bought in by now. To answer your question. It doesn't look like it yet but at least when they do a PR now days they only list Minamoo as a second IR firm. Equiti Trend is listed first for what it's worth. We both have the same feelings about Minamoo but for now it looks like we have to ignore it on this stock.

Mike
I too want to thank you Bigsky! You've done a lot to keep the serious shareholders on this board updated. Your updates are very much appreciated!
BTW....I haven't gone anywhere other than an extended vacation to Cabo San Lucas! Still holding LONG and laying low in the weeds as Marine-1 puts it.
Welcome to IHub Soapbox!
WSJ exposure is Great for GOIG! I believe you can capture it by simply doing a Control Printscreen which will allow you to paste it.
Hi Steph! Good to hear from you as well. I trust your doing fine. I think we'd all like to hear the full story regarding DTSL, but I'm not complaining that Ike didn't follow through. I think there's much better uses for that proposed $350k investment.

It sure appears as though he's performing much better as our CEO than he did earlier. There's a lot of positive statements for sure!
Mick there appears to be a lot of new things happening per Ike's weekly update by texting GOIG to 46800. Here's a recap clipped from a blog update courtesy of Brad Smith in post # 95480.
GoIP Global (GOIG) CEO Ike Sutton might have been on to something when he announced that he would start updating shareholders weekly by utilizing their subsidiary's Go800 stock ticker program. This program allows a company to update shareholders on business actions as often as they like by making a recording available by texting the company's ticker symbols to 46800. Since it's inception with Go800, GoIP's transparency to increase shareholder value has increased 10 fold. To date, 21 other companies have since joined in. According to Ike Sutton's most recent recorded audio message, 10 more companies could be adding to their shareholder value by purchasing a Go800 ticker symbol just this week.
Obviously the weekly recordings make a huge impact. Shareholders who actively follow GOIG look forward to hearing these messages every week. This week was no exception as news broke that Go800 has released a new brochure to include pricing for businesses in Canada. Expanding to Canada has been a goal for Go800 since early in the year and this goal seems destined to become an accomplishment sooner than expected. Opening Go800 to Canada will provide thousands of businesses the ability to become more profitable and easier to reach by all the customers that those business serve.
Go800 also announced that they will be attending a show designed for direct-to-consumer marketing in Las Vegas this September. This show is organized by the Electronic Retailers Association and was created by leaders in the on-line, radio, and TV markets that target consumers directly. Many new eyes will see Go800 for the first time, and if they are like most people, will understand that this could be the next big thing in direct response consumer/business advertising for all three of those communication mediums. Besides this major show this month, Go800 will also be attending a mobile industry focused show in October.
Mr. Sutton then announced that Go800 ads will appear on the Wall Street Journal website starting September 10th, 2010. This will be the first large scale advertising that Go800 has done to date and is expected to bring major players to the Go800 game. The attention these ads will bring to Go800 could be something that has not yet been seen by this small start up company.
Quite possibly the most important news that Mr. Sutton broke on his weekly update this week was that a Go800 keyword is being used in an upcoming telethon to help raise money for military vets on Veterans Day, November 6th, 2010. 46800 GoVets will be used as a source of contact for people who wish to donate to this cause to call and be connected for their donation. The name of this organization is Flag Still Stands for Freedom and can be found at www.flagstillstandsforfreedom.com.
Mr. Sutton also stated that another keyword is being leased is by Cablesvision Subsidiary, Optimum. Currently an ad showing "Text Optimum to 46800" is being run in conjunction with print and television sources throughout the New York region. Optimum is a cable/Internet/data provider that operates on the Eastern coast.
In other GOIG corporate news, Mr. Sutton announced that he will be converting 25% of his personally owned shares in Go800 to Go800 stock. Basically, this means that GOIG will now be a 70% shareholder in everything that Go800 does from here on out.
Lastly, Ike commented on the current situation with Delivery Technology Solutions (DTSL). Go800 announced that they decided to go a different route instead of investing over $350K in DTSL. After extensive due diligence and consideration, Go800 announced that this partnership may not be in the company's best interest and decided to pursue other options.
Regards to you Mick! Always good to hear from you.
Thanks for the support Ratso1. BTW...Great DD in your earlier post!
This is probably where the majotity of the $330k in revenue everyone's been wondering about came from.

Redbarron, I agree with you 100%. I've made a suggestion for a pricing plan that is more conducive to small businesses which Blackhawks has passed along to Ike. I want to thank Blackhawks publicly for making the pitch to Ike.
I'd like to see a pricing plan tailored to small businesses that's more based upon the number of text messages received per month. The more texts you receive the higher the monthly fee. I truly believe the Ambassadors would be able to sell to a large number of small businesses if it's made affordable for them. They need to be able to see a ROI, especially in this tough economy to justify trying this service. After all there's a lot more investment required over and above just paying for a keyword. Marketing though various forms of advertising is also required which costs money and takes time to create and get it out to your customer base.

Mkie
OK well I just sent you the PM before reading this. I don't have your e-mail address but here is mine: mpweber@aol.com
Thanks Blackhawks! I'd really like to hear what Ike has to say about expanding the options of the existing pricing structure to make it affordable for a regular small business. Look for a PM to follow this.
Thanks again,
Mike
That's true but it closed at .05 for the day.
Thanks for the explanation Blackhawks. I figured it sounded too good to be true. BTW....I mentioned this to Doone to pass along to Ike a couple months ago. I still feel that the monthly price is too high, especially in large metropolitan areas that have multiple area codes. If you want to get a lot of small businesses to at least try it then it needs to be priced where they can afford to try it. Let's say a $50/mo base price and then additional charges based on the number of text messages received. The more messages the higher the cost but that should be ok to the business because it means more revenue. Bottom Line....This business model would be much easier to sell keywords to small businesses.

Rustler....9 months ago this was at .0006 and 4 months later it peaked at .06. That all happened with pure speculation and $0 revenue. So regardless of what you say it can happen and history may repeat itself.

Mike
Ratso1, I certainly can't disagree with anything you've pointed out. When your right, your right.
Is this documented fact or speculation that there's a huge cut in pricing for generic keywords? I'm paying for a generic keyword and have thought it was over priced. I'd love to be able to get it cheaper. Can anyone fill me on this?
Thanks,
Mike
Unique....I saw a post by Blackhawks giving you his personal e-mail address so you could discuss this offline. All we're asking is that you take it offline and quit littering and bothering all the GOIG IHUB members. I would hope that both you and Blackhawks can be adult enough to do that. EOD

Kudos to you Ideaguy and welcome to the GOIG board! It's refreshing to read a well written and intelligent post. Don't be a stranger to posting because this board certainly needs your well written thoughts.
Mike
Unique Investment will you please give this board a break! Can't you see you're annoying everyone by your constant posts to Backhawks? In my opinion it's bordering on harrassment. He no longer wishes to discuss the subject with you on this board but you won't stop. In fact numerous members have put you on ignore for a reason, can't you step back and see why?
JMHO
Mike
Well you certainly did at one time Rustler. No one has a crystal ball to predict where this could be in the future. A couple uplistings from where we are now and its anyone's guess.

On the other hand, I invested in a B.A. degree and then a Juris Doctorate degree, both from Top Tier schools, and made $135,000 my first year out of law school. Since law school, I've never made less than $100,000 year, so long as I was working. Trading to make a repeatedly steady income of $100,000+ per year? Nope. Not me. GOIG is the first stock I've held in any signficant numbers that actually looks quite promising. Like stocks, a good education is an investment; unlike stocks, your fate lies in YOUR hands, not the MMs.
That said, I look at the pinkies like I do at Las Vegas. While playing the odds in Las Vegas is a living for only the very best gamblers, every now and again the common Joe gets lucky. So here's to seeing GOIG at $1+!
I agree with you 100%! That's another positive move by the company. This start-up is beginning to move in the right direction. All these things will eventually lead to a higher PPS. I'm comfortable with my investment and wise enough to know we'll see our payday in good time.

We certainly see eye to eye 2020! We have a lot of things happening with this company to look forward to. Let's not forget Mr. FU will be arriving next month. I have a feeling a lot of positive things will be forthcoming. All we have to do is sit back and be patient.

I don't know about you Oil but I was impressed with GOIG's financials. We were all primed for the worse ($100k) and it pulls off 3x that. I just wish we could fast forward to a year from now. I think there's goig to be a lot of happy campers!

Hey there Oil...good to see you being so active on the board.
The question is will Rustler even be on his horse?
Rustler....99% of investors would be utterly thrilled if that happened. What will it take for you to be happy?
My sentiments exactly 2020isvision! We have the same goal and it's only a matter of time. A lot of patience and we'll be golden!
