Lenders extend Jackson Hewitt's principal payment deadline
* Says lenders amend credit agreement
* Amendment delays $30 mln principal payment to May 20 (Follows alerts)
(Reuters) - Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc , the second-largest U.S. tax preparer, said its lenders amended a credit agreement, delaying a principal payment and the possibility of a pre-packaged bankruptcy.
The amendment extends the date by which the company has to make a $30 million principal payment, due April 30, to May 20, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The amendment also gives the company time until May 20 to work with the lenders to agree upon a 'mutually satisfactory restructuring' of its balance sheet.
In March, Jackson Hewitt said it was working with its lenders on a restructuring plan that may include a pre-packaged bankruptcy as it struggled to make payments on its ballooning debt. [ID:nL3E7EA1LW]
Jackson Hewitt, which had $362.3 million in outstanding debt under the credit agreement as on Jan. 31, had less than $5 million in cash and cash equivalents, according to a regulatory filing on March 10. (Reporting by Jochelle Mendonca and Tenzin Dekeva)
There were only a couple thousand sold at .14 this morning. I added most .15. Volume is low currently.
Looking at the 5 year chart, and the turnaround last qtr...this will have lots of room to run.
1.80
I got 1000 at .14 only
Go DRL!!!
JTX now JHTX .... opened at .15
Did you see how much volume and accumulation there was the past couple weeks? Massive.
FCSC has a low float. THe lessened volume shows that the big boys that accumulated are still holding.
Rodman and Renshaw has a $3 price target.
No, probably just trying to fool some into thinking the dilution is over.
I don't mind low volume as long as its sideways consolidating or trending up like FCSC is.
Agreed, looking good
DRL up 5.88% today
Dilution?
THese L2 (L3s) are making it easy for any seller to see how many are on the bid...could see .0002s today
Doral Financial management to meet with B.Riley
Meetings to be held in Philadelphia on May 10, in New York on May 11 and in Boston on May 12 hosted by B. Riley. :theflyonthewall.com
Hmmm.... could they consider an UPGRADE ?
Their last recommendation was Buy to Neutral on 02/04/2010 (They've covered DRL since '08 it appears)
Could we see Neutral to BUY?

Good to see you on FCSC also Wrinkles...Also holding a chunk. Should see continued legs up into June.GL!
Could easily before next quarter...very easily.
Broad market is down nearly 200 points today. A reflection of that only. Want to see it hold 200 MA.
Whoa, looks like a dilution day, ouch
L2 shows more transparency than usual today for some reason.
Ask is much heavier than the bid, could easily go to no bid.
"Last but not least, can small cap Doral Financial Corp. (NYSE:DRL) really make good on the expected earnings of $0.02 per share this year, and $0.23 next year? After all, that 2012 EPS figure translates into a P/E of a mere 6.7. The answer is yes, it can, and more important, the market is starting to believe it too (and bid the stock upward as a result).
Yes, Doral Financial hasn't been all that profitable on a trialing basis. If you take a closer look at the sequence of results though, a few really bad quarters (some with major one-time charges) are what's torpedoed the overall results. In most normal quarters, the company can earn a few cents per share. For a four-quarter stretch in 2009 and 2010, for instance, the company earned $0.34 per share.
The stock's starting to reflect that possibility too. DRL shares had been in the gutter for nearly a year, but in just the last three weeks we've seen in clear the 200-day moving average line on decidedly higher volume. The market has spoken (and it hasn't backed down either). "

Wait until they R/S again and then play a bounce then before they get a chance to dilute too much. It will happen again (my opinion only)
Held 1.71/1.72 should bounce from here
This is going to no bid, be careful
Volume has been low. Perhaps someone (retail) frustrated with the movement of pps.
Book values can change qtr to qtr. Yes, they are in very bad shape at the moment. But BK not for sure....yet.
GLTU
Depends on negotiations and whether they can make their payment by the deadline.
If JTX avoids BK, it will fly hard with such a low float and huge current short interest.
