Again, there was a previous post made by a member here which made it seem like SteadiDrone is a product of DSUS, I simply wanted to make it clear to everyone here, which is kinda the point of a public forum like this, that SteadiDrone is a separate company and that DSUS resellers our products.
We have a great growing relationship with DSUS and look forward working with them even more in the future.

About Us DSUS
Drone Services Hawaii is setting out to be the premier retailer of drone products and services in the Hawaiian Islands. We are dedicated drone and UAS owners and enthusists who want to specialize providing great prices, rapid sales and service. We are authorized retailers of DJI, Align Aerial, Hubsan and exclusive custom built Search and Rescue Drones with our brand new ProSearch XLF. We expect to be adding 2-3 new manufacturers in 2015. Our mission is simple, we want to provide high quality drone products and services for personal, professional, commercial and government use. You the customer are our number one priority.
We are a veteran owned business and have multiple combat tours with over 34 yrs of combined service.
Drones are not what you think. Our products provide a capability to see the world as never before at a much lower cost and in areas that were at times inaccessible. Drone Services Hawaii wants to promote the safe and responsible use of the personal drone products that we sell to the public. Drones for personal use give a new meaning to the Hawaii vacation. Individual use of drones to take photos and video gives a vantage point once reserved for those that could afford a helicopter flight. Now you can make your own spectacular photos and movies of Hawaii the way it is meant to be seen. Drone Services Hawaii is partnering with a number of organizations that promote safe flight. We will also offer training events to get you started.
Drone Services Hawaii will offer a local repair facility on the island of Lana’i. We are trying to encourage our youth with high tech jobs for local people. We can offer rapid turn around for repairs vice the current options available.
Drone Services Hawaii will provide custom drone products and services to Emergency services agencies and organizations and the TV and movie industry here in the islands. We can provide payload packages that allow for improved analysis of agriculture that help improve crop yields and reduce pesticide use. Aerial archeology is an area where our universities doing sensitive survey and mapping of Native Hawaiian and Polynesian sites and organizations such as the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command (JPAC) could benefit from low cost lightweight platforms that are transportable to remote areas. Aerial geology allows a low cost airborne platform to take highly detailed land measurements for earthquake fault analysis or active volcano monitoring. Industrial survey of bridges, wind turbines, solar panel fields, power line insulators, communication towers and buildings can be done with a high degree of accuracy and tremendous cost savings. Open source 3D mapping technology is now available to drone platforms allowing high detail maps to be made for land surveys constructions site analysis or post tsunami/hurricane events. Use by fire rescue and civil defense for rapid assessment of a fire, lost persons or natural disaster reduce costs, save lives, put fewer rescuers at risk and provide a rapid airborne assessment tool at a fraction of the cost of a helicopter ($9000-12,000/hr) vice a low cost drone which only requires batteries. Even areas such as rapid crime scene investigation / motor vehicle accident investigation are all possible with drones. Drones save money and put fewer people at risk.
If you have any questions as to the types of services we can provide please contact us.

ANOTHER REASON TO GET ON BOARD WITH DSUS eorge K. Purdy IV, Director of SAR, Fire, & FAA Affairs
Hawaii and Pacific Rim Markets
As a child Mr. Purdy was always fascinated with technology, robotics and RC’s. Even then, Mr. Purdy would build, modify, fly & crash UAV’s just to repair and modify to fly again. Each attempt was to encapsulate exactly what was needed to create the perfect machine. As a true hobbyist growing up in his homeland of Hawaii, Mr. Purdy never imagined just how far his fascination with this type of technology could take him and how it would assist him in his deep desire to serve his fellow man.
As a young adult, Mr. Purdy began his life’s work in service with the United States Navy. As a USN veteran of Desert Storm, he then served with the United States Air Force. Finally he found himself back home with the State of Hawaii Airport Crash and Fire Rescue where he has been a first responder for over 17 years.
As a trainer for the Citizen Emergency Response Team (CERT) for the island of Lanai, Mr. Purdy is always looking for innovative ways and to add technology to our arsenal of techniques to protect and rescue the people of our community.
One of two veterans to establish Drone Services Hawaii, Inc., Mr. Purdy has set out to be the leader in sales, service and repairs for drones and drone related products in Hawaii. Working closely with the FAA, Mr. Purdy & DSH are working to assist in the integration of drones into the national airspace for Emergency Services needs.
As Director of SAR, Fire, FAA Affairs & the Hawaii and Pacific Rim Markets, Mr. Purdy’s contributions are in the research, development, marketing, sales, training and servicing of the entire future line of SAR drone products that DSUSA will produce. He is also responsible for and responsive to Hawaii, the western Pacific and East Asia markets for the variety of drone products that will be available.

THE BEST REASON OF ALL TO GO WITH DSUS
joel-131_dir
Joel Bredow, President & CEO
Passionately motivated by technology and electronics since early childhood, Mr. Bredow knows a thing or two about drones and their capabilities. Since the infancy of drone technology, Mr. Bredow has worked diligently to position himself and his thermal technology company, IR Distro, to be at the vanguard of the industry when the rest of the world takes notice at just how significant a role UAV’s will take in our lives.
With an inherent ability to predict market trends and a keen understanding of logistics, certain that a marriage between thermal imaging and UAV’s is inevitable, Mr. Bredow worked tirelessly to ensure he would be ready to display his own technology to the world when it was ready to embrace what he knew would be the next wave of the future: In 2014, Mr. Bredow and IR Distro announced the IR Distro camera at the first annual drone show in the United States and the L.A. Drone Expo.
Side by side with the largest name in thermal technology, Mr. Bredow proudly and confidently provided an alternative option to what has presently dominated the thermal technology market, introducing his state-of-the-art product.
Having developed relationships with various entities throughout the UAV and thermal imaging world, Mr. Bredow works closely with manufacturers and other professionals who can quickly engineer and prototype new parts, tailored specifically toward our applications.
As the CEO & President of Drone Services, USA, with his experience in the UAV world, a genuine understanding of customer demands and a drive to deliver, Mr. Bredow is to DSUSA what thermal imaging is to a Search & Rescue drones.
AN THAN ANOTHER REASON GO WITH DSUS Law Enforcement:Real time surveillance, crowd and large event monitoring with live feeds to command centers have proven invaluable to law enforcement. DSUSA UAVs provide a cost effective and methodical approach to enhance law enforcements ability to provide public safety.
Currently there are about 18,000 state and local law enforcement agencies in the U.S., including 12,501 local police departments, 3,063 sheriff’s offices, and 50 primary law enforcement agencies.
Fire Departments: The ability to locate downed firemen, wildfire hotspots, and victims using a combination of drones and thermal imaging has proven a much more effective, safer and extremely cost effective alternative to conventional search and intelligence methods such as helicopters or other low flying aircraft.
As of January 2015, there were 27,140 fire departments registered with the National Fire Department Census. This is about 90% of all U.S. fire departments.
Aerial Inspections: Crop monitoring, pipelines, wildlife, livestock, and anti-poaching surveillance are all sectors that have added drone technology to their arsenal. Cost effectiveness and ease of use have made otherwise cumbersome activities such as pipeline inspections much easier using high-definition streaming video.
Insurance Companies: There are over 800 insurance companies in the United States. Drones can assist insurance companies by:
Improving the productivity, efficiency and safety of property claims adjusters.
Enhancing the productivity of risk engineers.
Drones can cover large areas of property in a short span of time, the number of adjusters needed in the field can also be reduced —- removing the operational stress of employing and deploying large numbers of claims adjusters.
Reducing fraudulent agricultural claims.
Search and Rescue: First responders at federal, state and local levels including localized search and rescue entities in remote, mountainous, forested and maritime environments. Rapid deployment of services following natural disasters is a strategic priority. Having the ability to use drone technology combined with thermal imaging is paramount for survival of life during mitigation of disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, flooding, and tornadoes in which structure collapses have made conventional search and rescue historically difficult.
There are thousands of search and rescue teams in the United States. DSUSA can provide and edge to increase survivability to local, state, federal, and international agencies and teams with the ability to decrease search times and provide medical supplies, water, and other life saving equipment in difficult to navigate areas, such as:
Collapsed structures
Waterborne disasters
Inland Wilderness (For search and rescue of lost and missing persons in a wide variety of circumstances and environments)
Areas not able to be accessed by vehicles
Private Security Firms: There are hundreds of private security firms in the U.S. alone. The possibilities for private security firms are limitless. Not only domestic security but private security contracted to perform missions of aid and relief, escort, and materiel transports overseas will experience an much needed advantage during operations.
