interesting read...thx!

that's what im sayin...the two are commodities...therefore, commodity speculators have a lot to do with the 'in-syncing' trend that you see...I have seen that pattern too, and usually see the greenback going the opposite direction...there are a lot of traders, and investors whom turn to oil and gold, etc as 'safe havens' and so the two naturally would move in a similar pattern, but they are not actually linked at the hip like silver and gold are...I could be wrong, but that is the way I understand it...
-PD
They are both commodities! they will move in sync as variables in the market (ie. lower greenback)favor investor interest in commodities...what other connection are you looking for? Gold is gold. Oil is oil! anyone have a better explanation?:)
-PD
Thanks Brad...and I agree with you...-PD
I thought of the JV buybacks the other day...if the PR's are true, then the JV has bought back 3.5B shares 'off the market' so far (at an average price of .0001)...that would mean a $350K US investment that they were not willing to discard below .001 ( a turnaround profit of a cold $ 3.5M) and as long as hunt remains 'derailed', that $350K is stuck!...I think that saner has alot of incentive to correct things, if it is 'real' like they say...and this so called 'restructuring PR' regarding 'mutually agreed upon cancellations of mining contracts that would essentially reduce a crap load of shares, and bring the stock price to par value...well, what the heck happened to all that???) ...a lot of cards need to roll over within the next few month...one never knows who will win this battle...if hunt actually gets back on track, their script would be one to keep an eye on...GL!
-PD
9 million traded so far today??? how is that possible?...What happened to this being dead ...?
-PD
that was prol on the 15th (when it was initially suspended) and saners "company is destroyed"remarks prol came after the SEC's bombshell regarding prime time (released on the 25th)...Instead of trying to reassure stockholders, he is making comments that indicate that shareholders are basically screwed due to '3rd parties' and nothing is the fault of current management...tell me something that's new saner!...maybe something like: dont worry guys, we will save the company because we have not done anything wrong and our assets are valuable enough to actually "try" and "fix" things,etc...
-PD
Why would saner say that the allegations have basically destroyed the company unless they have no plans to 'fix' things or think that things cannot be fixed??? Has Saner given up? When did saner even try???
-PD
"...An alleged interview with Michael Saner reported on Yahoo Finance has him denying any wrongdoing by the current group, but that the company now "was (essentially) destroyed..."
Dude, I tried to find this 'interview' but cannot find it...could u send me a link (post or PM)...thx.
-PD
thx for the info...
-PD
"...if Hunt can (or will even try) to convince the broker and the "SEC it had nothing to do with the old company - I don't see any problem..."
Help this novice understand something about the 'registered broker' that hunt gold will need? this is pretty much an MM? or two or three? were the recent MM's not registered or somethin??? I am having trouble with this one: My trading bank called me and told me of the suspension, and so canceled my orders...now, are they regarded as a 'registered broker' or is the 'registered broker' another person in the pipeline...in that regard, if a broker(s) steps up and signs the 211, will my trading bank automatically be OK will trading hunt gold shares or will it be at their own discretion...I admit that I am quite unfamiliar with the process...
-PD
this story will unfold drastically within the next few months...if we (hunt gold) actually come out of this thing unscathed and with a much lower share count, then it's all smiles...GL!
-PD
come to think of it...I beleive that lumb posted a comment or two on the boards regarding this old shell scam (the 7 eleven stuff)...I will try and find it...it was from last august time frame when he was posting like a loonie...
-PD
yea, and it doesnt look like lumb has anything to do with this SEC investigation nor does his name appear among any of the defendants within that file???
-PD
interesting, but this does not mention lumb, saner, santini, or any of the many many people involved with hunt gold corp???? So the SEC is going after the guys whom ran hold gold's old shell company??? but I thought that hunt gold was an entirely different entitity which came from GWGO and merged with an old shell to become a new entity 'hunt gold corp' ....what the heck is going on here? would current hunt gold managment be responsible for this previous shells dealings???? Anyone familiar able to offer insight...
-PD
agreed...they either respond or go to jail because the claims and PR's that they have put out there are more than 'buyer beware'...they either are legitimate, and show that by filing with the SEC, or are flat out crooked from the get-go,...and to be so blatantly dishonest should indeed be dealt with via criminal charges and time in jail! As many many people have been involved with hunt gold (whom have educational degrees and licences), I also think that all their licences and so forth should be taken away for partaking in the lies), unless of course they have not been dishonest...And if that be the case, trading WILL resume ....if no trading, then the dishonesty is self-explanatory at this point.
-PD
well, it seems that we all have been had...everyone in both sisters has jumped ship (and it's been that way for quite some time)...just the very fact that company reps cannot even be reached should have been a clear sign...but I, among others, did not listen and now have to hear it from the 'i told you so' crowd over and over again...Maybe the sisters will get CPR and have life return to them, but currently they look dead...

talk to alan lately? perhaps someone could contact him for an update or even comments about the hunt gold fiasco....or better yet, as ffgo is invested in hunt gold, alan can hound saner for an explanation or give him a kick in the head!
-PD
I beleive he is aware too...but it would be nice for a shareholder to actually talk to 'someone on the inside' so the shareholders can get better informed...I have tried but haven't received a response...perhaps others will have better luck...it doesnt hurt to try...
-PD
hey V,
u have been in contact with Alan in the past,,,,why not contact him to inquire of his awareness on this hunt gold matter...since his ffgo has such a big chunk of the share pie, im sure he'd be interested in calling Saner directly to find out what the heck is going on or what the heck is being done to resolve this matter...
-PD
yourself or someone else close to the matter should really contact Saner to get a reply as to what the company is doing about this SEC intervention...
-PD
so basically, if hunt gold finds a way of 'getting off the hook' by the 26th of June...and resumes trading, then one can presume that ffgo is off the hook too? Well, suppose the end of next week will determine alot for 'both' sisters then...and if hunt gold is trading on the pinks as of 29th of June, and is alive and well, would that mean that the SEC has given them their blessing rather than the kiss of death that currently seems to be???...
-PD
indeed it was...but the entire campaign revolved around buybacks for the 1st half of the year and then this 'extra-ordinary divi' for the 2nd half of the year...if one were to examine their books, as long as the buybacks actually took place and there is legitimacy to this 'extra-ordinary' divi in hurasu, then what does ffgo have to be worried about?...if you read the PR's, they have been quite detailed in nature and have filed all 8K's etc on time and with full details of their 'plans'...I could be dead wrong, but I don't see wrong doing on ffgo's part...however, that only stands if this 'divi' actually still happens and all 'skyline uranium' assets turn out to be 'legit'...if all that transpires, why would SEC suspend them?
-PD
dude, what would u like me to say....the money in hunt gold is GONE! ok, perhaps so...but I certainly will be looking for it not to be...Doesnt matter anyways, as it was a complete write off since last october...if they do something right and get SEC off their back, then I get my money back and then some...if not, then I lose and focus on my other plays...(which spans outside of these two sisters and outside of the pinky world)...GL to all on their future endevors...these sisters dont seem like they're gonna be going anywhere for quite a while, if ever...but if they do, i'll be there to trade my share!
-PD
fair enough...I should have listened to the red flags too...but I didn't...greed? possibly...however, I still think that these sisters can surprise a lot of ppl whom are convinced otherwise...Time will tell if the risk was worth it...a single run from each sister can put a smile on my face that will last a lifetime...if not, I will be ticked (not gonna lie) but will know it was my own fault for not listening to the danger signals...
-PD
although I enjoy ur optimism paunch13, I must correct you...it is not 'when' but 'if' ...there are many ways that this could play out...lets hope ur right!
-PD
not really...I am just reading both sister PR's and can see why the SEC is on hunt gold's back...however, ffgo has been singing a very different tune...optimistic u say? maybe...but if the SEC has anything on ffgo, then it will follow the same fate as hunt gold...if ffgo has followed the rules, then SEC wont touch em...however, hunt gold's fate is in it's managements hands now...they deliver what the SEC wants and the momentum and bid comes back hard...if not, well, we all know the outcome of that one...
-PD
exactly! if SEC approves...that is a major credibility win for hunt gold , as well as fortress ..)
-PD
however, if one were to look objectively, ffgo has not really done any sort of 'marketing campaign' nor has it claimed to be 'drilling' on its gold properties, let alone claiming to have found gold...in fact, ffgo might be 'off the hook' as they have been following SEC rules ...regarding this divi, it is in the fine print that the deal is yet to be complete...etc, however, hglc has some major explanations to give...if and if they actually give the necessary info to the SEC and the public, that is a major credibility win for hunt gold management, as well as fortress management, as you mentioned that they are 'interconnected'...
-PD
with comments about greysheets, etc, what makes one sure that management will step up to the plate now?...I hope they do, and this fiasco is far behind us, but the posters that are more 'familiar' with these types of SEC dealings sure dont seem to think that there is any hope left...Doom and gloom seems to be the creeping mantra...which obviously sucks for the stuckholders...
-PD
regardless of if hunt has viable assets, there are a lot of 'issues' that management of hunt gold must resolve in order to get SEC off their back...will they pull through? well, only they know that one...we will know in a fortnight!
-PD
Where is good old Saner now?!!
-PD
has a company going into the grey's ever come back onto the pinks? ...
-PD
The halt is a good thing! IMO, since now Hunt Gold Management has been cornered to produce something tangible for the shareholders...At least now, they HAVE to provide the INFORMATION that we ALL have been hounding them to 'cough up' for months and months now! If they cannot do so, and the hault does not get removed, at least EVERYONE will KNOW going forward where things stand...if it is a scam, then they are DONE, if it is not a scam, then the requested info will be submitted to the SEC and things will eventually work out...fellow bashers and bagholders, We will see how this story goes in time....GLTA!
-PD
ouch! well, that was expected to happen...eventually.
-PD
ppl should not be following anyone but themselves...john is merely sharing an opinion...and I personally dont mind a little optimism around here...
-PD
I flipped hglc several times last year...from .0020-.0060 ranges and also flipped it when it rocketed from .0012-.01 last year...My time with this one has been more than generous while other plays have made a few fold up here and there, there is NO COMPARISION to the opportunity of this one...and since sinking from .0030 ranges to current .0001...one can only imagine the opportunity, if it moves again...so, all in all, I cannot complain...but, I do agree that the months and months and months of delays, setbacks, no-bid, and broken promises, and lack of follow through is complete BS on managements part...other gold mining and exploration stock have easily tripled since oct-dec 2008, while this one has gone the other way...That opportunity cost is the only disappointment, but overall, I will be watchin closely to see what all this 'restructing' talk is all about...fingers crossed!
-PD
how long have u been here (posting on this POS?) ...A year eh? looking for diamond in the rough? maybe not...one thing is 4sure though; there are a lot of eyes watching this one!
