Behavior unbecoming of pinky: http://www.thestreet.com/story/12076152/1/fda-slaps-osiris-for-misleading-medical-claims-about-stem-cell-bandage.html
My call today is that OSIR will at least partially fill that gap before the end of the year. They received an FDA warning letter on 9/26 and didn't reveal it until today, 10/22. conservatively, this should trade below 13 in the not distant future.
I'll use JAKK as a template for what I like. I'll attribute this idea to IHubs own SwingKing, the relentless. He's called JAKK long into earnings on Tuesday AH. When things went FUBAR for this company at the last earnings release, the one piece of bad news they did not spew was lowering guidance. Because this is a seasonally strong Q for this toy company, there should be a move up into earnings and for those who want to dare the devil, a huge gap up on meeting previous guidance.
Please go back to the previous format.
Taking a small position in ALBKY. I think Greek banks follow through
On VGZ, Their Mt. Todd project is a company killer. Lots of reserves, but very expensive to get to market. If curious, do your DD in the Australian financial media. IMO, keeping this project on the books is just a placeholder to keep company executives on salary.
IMO Think r Swim is not worth the effort. In fact, I HATE it. I want an intuitive platform. I don't like seeking out assistance (but, that's my personality) I'm actively seeking out another broker. Fidelity Active Trader Pro is the best I've tried so far. But, alerts are complicated. Adding new tickers takes several clicks. Positives are that you can easily put dozens tickers on one page and you get a visual alert on news impacting your watched tickers.
I started EHTH, thinking it will gain momentum as media starts coverage of October Obamacare deadlines.
Thanks for all the work you do on this thread. I just want to provide a link to what is going on next week in DC, regarding cannabis: http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2013/08/26/congress-to-hold-hearing-on-countrys-clashing-marijuana-laws
FUD Saudi Style.
I've even got my JAKK foam noodle crossed.
There's quite a mark up in slapping red hair and wings on an old Hannah Montana Doll: http://www.amazon.com/s/?_encoding=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&field-keywords=winx%20club%20dolls&linkCode=ur2&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Awinx%20club%20dolls&tag=vintaguita-20&url=search-alias%3Daps
According to JAKKS PR, this is one of the hottest toys of 2013.
I'm not worreed. The Hannah Montana Does Dope Doll is going to be toasty this xmas.
IMO, BSTC is a more pure play on that PDUFA date. For one thing, You don't have to worry about a AUXL's history of earning disappointments.
Unfortunately, it is thin.
$ETRM might be your kind of chart.
Please get well. I'm setting a new RSS before Google Reader goes dark. I've created Cjboro feed. It comes right after Boing Boing.
All the best,
Dan
Do you guys know whether the AVEO ad com is going to be halted?
Swampy, my strong recommendation is to wait for the likely PDUFA rejection before trading ZGNX
I'm not sure you plan on keeping this thread up-to-date. If not, I thank you for the work you did in 2012. You really helped me keep track of the PDUFA schedule.
Best wishes for 2013.
CGR also looks interesting. Here's an article from earlier in the year: http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2012/03/21/heres-why-i-bought-this-junior-gold-miner.aspx
I'm also in EDAP & ZGNX.
Thanks for your perspective. I don't know how anyone could say something like "Wall Street likes him". There is certainly nothing to indicate that. All I know, is that I don't trust this indirectness.
I would love to see a company like PRGO buy MJNA.
I'm very positive about MJNA, but I am not positive about Trip Keber. As the CNN interviewer rightly understands, he is merely an exploiter of business opportunity. So many are passionate about cannabis while Trip expresses himself indirectly like Dixie is his girlfriend's dog. He wants the dog to live; but, will just find a new one if fido dies.
I like GTAT very much right here, right now. I also took a position in SONS this morning.
What is a great trader? What makes these 6 traders great?
Interesting perspective on fracking and democratic disregard for it's impact on water resources:

$CMM was my last new January Effect position.
Trading for around 80% of cash per yahoo finance.
Thanks for the link Mike, I appreciate both you and Swampy's input.
GRMH will be left with a significantly improved balance sheet in a growth business with a re-occuring revenue model. Those with sleep apnea need repeated treatments.
It's classic tax loss selling, Swampy. This is a wood thrush in the lowlands.
JADA is my hold my nose buy.
They have had some trouble collecting their receivables
BUT, It's trading at .14 with .20 cash on the books.
GRMH
Danny's Jaffecta of the day.
Yahoo Key Stats do not reflect the cash it received from selling a division to Walgreens.

This is my favorite idea under a dollar. I pound table on this one:
SGYP
NOt very liquid, but I took some off the hands of a tax seller yesterday.
This ugly bloggah likes SGYP and it's motha-company:

HFKI
Q another maestro of the december lowlands over at SiliconInvestor
picks HFKI.pk. I'm following him into a little positin here
HNSN also making a move off of it's december base. it looks like a rising bottom pattern to me
CHNG making a move off the bottom. it's my Jaffecta pick of the day
Thank you SWAMPY
You have my highest lowland regard.
MITL was probably the worst performing IPO of 2010
It looks like all the weak hands are finally replaced. I only wish I could have gotten some DVOX before it started moving up
Poor performing IPOs are often overlooked Jaffectas
Re-entered INSM. The first news release on the drug they purchased the rights to will send this one higher
QTEYF is my favorite Jaffecta.
It's so cheap, the company is buying it's own shares back.
If oil keeps rising and it will, natural gas prices will rise with it. Rapacious humanity will make natural gas fungible and send it floating to china. Enough of that. I only wish I could buy more.
Danny gots a good one for tomorrow.
Stay tuned Jaffecta Lovers
