Eh, whenever I think I've seen the bottom, I need to just take 45% and subtract that from the current...then I will see what I believe is the bottom.
It's a formula I now use to circumvent my stupidity. I keeps me eating. :)
I thought the bottom of this was a 1.82. Some 'other' places have it slated at a $1.25 or if that doesn't hold, around .86. If you subtract 45% from the 1.82 then you get the $1.25...my stupidity price. If it hits near $1.35 I'll watch , read, nail bite at that point and wait carefully to pull the trigger on this one.
I'm not 'in' on this one as of yet. But what amazes me...
That a real company like this with a real product isn't doing better than 90% of the fake companies on Ihub. Kinda makes me a bit annoyed.
I have a $1.46 or $1.28 target to buyin on this, but I recently heard from a friend of a friend that after contacting this leasing company that they terminated with, that they wouldn't put anything up at that spot and thus were 'pushed out' with outrageous holding fees.
Just like if you buy a lot in a housing plan, you have so many years to build...so many years to finish your property with a paved driveway...etc etc or you get fines out the wazooo.
I tried to get in contact with them myself but could only leave a message and it sounded like a different company when I left the VM. I would love to know the exact details of what went down there.
The reason being, I'm getting this spidey sense that they are bolstering stock holder confidence with promises but not coming through. The announcement of a new store would be HUGE imo and would send this stock up up and away...AS LONG as it was a REAL thing and just about to open. The day it opens I imagine we will see a pretty big sell off. So for the flippers this might be the day to watch carefully. Resting at $2.50 after that?
All one big IF , if they don't produce a new store.
I honestly believe (and I know I'll get flamed for this) that this is going to goto sub $1.25 within a month. Possibly sub $1. Then I won't know what to do because who knows , it could just keep going down with panic sellers.
Lets just cross fingers that they do something positive here soon with tangible results. I'm really looking to be a long here on this. I want to get in and never leave...just dunno when.
Good info...thanks much.
Sure no problem. Can you send me a plane ticket please, I'll leave after the holidays.
And very immature.
Geesh, rather harsh wouldn't you say?
I'm saying 20 , living at home with mom and day, and afraid don't have a clue about this company other than what you got in a spam email right? There ya go, harsh right back at ya.
You know, there are local groups were people gather for a few beers, pool and snacks to discuss stocks etc. My questions are 'norm' as are my concerns.
My questions were to people that have been in this for a long time and done a great deal of research, if they were willing to share.
You know, there is no way to know everything out there that the world has to offer. Groups allow people to share information. Not to just pump a stock and drink the koolaid.
Stock falling, people losing and yet I don't see much on these boards about exactly 'why' this is?
I was under the impression that this was going to bottom out at the weekend close but it seems to be going even lower.
So, I have to ask. Where is the bottom in all of this?
I see a few pumpers on here and will of course ignore them as I'm looking for those folks that have some sense of reality to discuss this.
Also, how many stores are open thus far now? Completely open, not just in the process, or about to open. OPEN for business with the stock trading at $1.75.
I remember waste management was trading at a sickeningly low # but they were in business and hauling garbage for many many cities.
I've learned that unless a company is ACTUALLY doing something, that promises are worth nothing in the world of stocks. In fact, I usually sell when I see promises and seem to get out just as everyone else does when this news is released.
Promises and projections, all useless. Real stats, studies, white papers, documents leading to commitments with signatures verifiable, those are pretty important to me.
I want in but no matter where I look I just see fluff being spewed out to me. I'm looking for some substance.
Their financials look good to any of the financial's gurus here? Do the numbers 'add' up so to speak with what is going on in the business.
Bushnell is known to have interests in stocks and making money in stocks. If he is able to control a stock legally and then jump out like he did with atari, then you have to wonder about his history. I'm sure he is serious and all but he worries me a bit as he is NOT about the stockholder - just himself and his family. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks
Great reply, thanks. Really appreciate it.
Seems like this is a 'solid' stock at this point. I too am going to sit and watch for a bit before doing anything.
Thanks
Ah, angry? I bet you are. What 'should' be and what are , often two different situations. Been there, sorry to hear of your loss.
The market has become SOOOOOO horribly run anymore. Hype should NOT be allowed to boost a stock up 400% in one day, as it should also not crash 400% based on rumor.
So what happened to bring Uwink down to this point? I was thinking of buying in because I was just alerted to the price it was selling at and was shocked from an OLD alert I setup.
Can I get some DD here?
Just wondering what's been going on at Uwink world.
I remember when it hit 10 but wasn't sure why. Was it a reset, how did it get there and why is it at 1.75 now?
What are the projections on this?
Pumpers and Shorts please do not reply..
Wow that's pretty cold.
BUT he has lots of money to spend on attorney fees etc now that he has all of the money of the investors! lol.
I really would like to know the truth about this company.
Was it a real attempt to ramp up to 'real' products and real output for real profits, or was this just a get rick quick scheme for a person that is more evil than we think?
I would like to think that he thought he could get over this hurdle and turn this into something real, but his doom was the financials and the government contract statements. There are too many savy people out there gunning to make anything look as if they are scams. Even if they aren't. It kinda sucks as they often lower the pps post buy in bashing something, but it also helps as they bring things to the front many times...truth or fiction.
The problem with investigations is, unless they are intentially going to eventually hurt MORE people than are already in this thing now, then there really is no purpose to completely shut it down by doing so as it could have possibly panned out to at least something slowly decaying or neutral, giving at least the not so quick thinkers to realize that being long is probably only going to serve to drain their account slowly.
What happened here was just an explosion of many banks accounts that hurt too many people. And there is NO hope of ever rebounding. Just wont happen. Too many people will remember, and there is no 'real' item to buy out that another company can take over.
Nothing short of Bill Gates taking this company over and turning it into a gold mine is every going to recover the losses many have suffered on here.
Possibly the next best step is to file a civil case to ensure that at least the people responsible to not benefit in ANY way with this, and possibly are punished.
I hate to ask, who is tubby? lol, are you guys calling plant tubby?
Dell = Sony. Sony = Dell.
yea I mean hey it's one thing to say, I don't think this is worth it because their products are run of the mill what I can get elsewhere cheaper with their name slapped on it (branded)
it's another thing if they are selling a product that is of average or better than average quality with their name on it, and they support the item well, and they are working on products of their own.
Is it worth publically trading a company of this size though? Sure wasn't at the time. But is it worth bashing or trying to 'wake' people up about the 'slapping of the stickers', no. Because every company does this.
There are MANY MANY companies out there that ACTUALLY started with products in their basements, moving to larger facilities over time, then finally they realized that they can just have a manufacturer that specializes in making these, say widgets - give them some special specs that makes theirs different or request a certain material be used to manufacturer the item - and then they PROBABLY don't even put the stickers on themselves!
BTW here's another good analogy - DELTA did NOT make that aircraft...Boeing probably did. And it's the same one that Southwest is using. The only difference is the 'sticker'.
lol do you really believe this?
You have no idea what they look at vs what they just dismiss as nothing. It's amazing really.
They might nail them to the wall because they forgot to file form c-2 correctly, but will totally overlook the 100 kilos of drugs in their warehouse starring blankly over documents.
You are giving too much credit toward some of these investigators. You have no idea how over worked some of these guys are and what they are told to and what NOT to look at or focus on by their higher ups.
You have no idea how frustrating it probably gets for these guys that KNOW they can nail someone to the wall that is deceiving the public, while they are told to investigate ONE aspect and ONLY that one aspect.
It's almost like many times, they are purposely sending their agents out on wild goose chases just so they can say they investigated a certain individual or company, while the real issues remain BARELY under the surface.
When the numbers get explored, it will be forwarded to number crunches who will decide the level of inaccuracies on the documents. At that time, there will be a general idea as to if their was deceit and to what level. Much after interviewing the accused and interviewing complaintants.
Then they start to build a case to end the case. But as far as 'justice' goes, there will be very little for those hurt by this. I truly believe they have done more harm than good by going after CKYS for the little guy.
If you are ok with the 'bad guy' going to jail for a few months and re-entering his life pretty much scratch free, then fine. But without a civil case against the guy and the company, there will be no restitution toward the gen pub.
UNLESS of course they decide to make an example of him AND start cracking down on AS MANY of these penny stocks as they can get their hands on making sure they are on the up and up - THEN it will make a difference. But until then, any losses are just that. A loss. I don't believe for a second what people think is going to happen with thisk, will.
Ralph - err WRONG.
Sorry, I'm not defending this scam of a company. I've been saying that all they do is co brand, why so much hype? But I'm not going to bash people for believing that there IS a next step or try to get people to 'wake up' to this fact. In fact, this is a step that THOUSANDS of companies take every year!
The problem is, how many products they slap their name on and how many are being sold. Also, what amount of products do they OWN the rights to for manufacturing and distribution???????
None. That's the problem.
Do you have ANY idea how many people slap a stick on a product and call it theirs? More than you could EVER imagine. Probably the monitor you are viewing now is a CO-BRANDED (proper term) product.
You people do realize that the cars you are driving for the most part (ESPECIALLY AMERICAN) are mostly the SAME car with different 'brand names' on them? For example: The plymouth breeze and the dodge stratus were the SAME exact car. About the only different was the label and MAYBE about 1% change versus the other.
BUT, many times ...like car companies...they change it just enough to call it their own and make the public feel like they have a choice.
I'm always amazed at the discussions on here about how they 'slap a sticker' on sequim products, without realizing the real problem. Sales and amount being 'produced' versus price of the stock??? It's NOT about the sticker slapping or BRANDING/CO Branding. It's about $$$ being generated or ANTICIPATED versus the stock price.
This could VERY WELL have been a good thing an here is how it could have been.
-CKYS starts by selling co-branded items, building buying power through hype and profit.
-They start selling items that they have manufacturers build for them, tweaking their 'default' products a bit more to fit a more innovative idea that CKYS has for a product.
-They eventually develop enough $$ to do some R&D on their own, with their own people, possibly producing their own BETA versions for a manufacturer to produce.
-Next step is to continue to outsource manufacturing of their PROPRIETARY and OWNED product over seas while retaining 100% ownership and FULL CONTROL over manufacturing - selling MOSTLY their products to a willing public.
The very problem with all of this is, they were starting with products that are already being put out by EVERY major manufacturing, co-brander with their specs put to them, and ever mom and pop that was convinced through some TV infomercial that for $10 they can sell their own USB products with their name on it.
THE DOOMING FACTOR was the fact that they lied about government contracts and financials. The killer for most companies. The CEO of this company figured if he could push ahead and get over this 'hurdle', he could justify the bad financials and contracts with overall profits etc. Even if the price of this stock flew toward the bottom, they would have a REAL product to sell with REAL buying power and possibly even something better than a $50 template based website.
There are so many companies out there that are actually making it starting out like this. Heck most of us college folks probably learned of a few big ones in Business 101.
I think these new guys don't realize two things:
1. the public is more aware of what is going on in business.
2. the public is more aware of what will or wont pan out, and WILL call someone out for it.
No longer are the days of blind faith in CEOS. The gen pub realizes that these folks are mostly out for the almighty $$ and will do whatever it takes to get there. Even if it means lying possibly putting others in a place where it could harm them, with the FULL INTENTION of being moral about it believing that it will all pan out for them thus bettering the gen pubs bottom line or lifestyle.
Am I saying that left unchecked this would have been something big? No. I'm not. It could have gone on for months, years as a small startup with little to no real curb appeal. I think at worst though, they would have crapped away their money eventually through paying individuals etc and not having much to invest toward products, R&D etc. At best, it could have presented itself to realize a more positive outcome like the one I outlined about as the possible steps it could have taken.
To those that are bashing this for 'slapping a sticker' on their product. I want them to stop eating their macaroni, stop using that computer monitor, AND DEFINETELY stop using that computer! Because their is a VERY good chance that the company you bought it from, just 'slapped a sticker' on it.
So is this guy still in jail or what?
What do people like this do when they are free?
Personally I would be watching over my shoulder all day. I can't imagine how they feel it is worth it. Maybe it's easier than and less sticky than outright selling drugs or breaking into banks?
Oh well - hopefully this guy will get what's coming to him. A cellmate named bubba and a LOOOOOOOOOONG sentence.
You're being silly. This will never pan out.
Look at the history of other scams on ihub..did they? Years later? 1 out of 100...and they had REAL products.
This company takes stuff that another company sells or distributes, and slaps their cheesy logo on it and attempts to sell it for triple what you could get a MUCH better product for that does the same thing.
Kingston, Sony, etc etc - much better products.
Black and Decker will have biometric door locks by this summer for 1/4th what CKYS is selling them for.
What's the draw then? The pure fact that all you have to do is go up from here?
Think about if you bought in at .01. The amount it would take to buy in on this would be an EXTREMELY large NEW following of people that TOTALLY IGNORE the history of this company and their problems.
Not going to happen. Unless they somehow invent cold fusion and package it for $199...but then maybe pigs will fly too.
Sorry dude. I really am for your losses. But I think you need to remain realistic and be prepared to count on the loss and then if something decent happens be ready then it's just a bonus in an otherwise very dark situation.
I'm not loaded and maybe that is easy for you to laugh at, or maybe that is your first response. I personally would dream every day about choking the CEO and anyone else involved in penny scams. These psycho idiots have themselves convinced of their lies and look at you with the most convincing statements while every word out of their mouths are lies. Meanwhile - countless people are hurt and they move on with their lives like it was nothing more than a hinderance on their lifestyles - like a broken dishwasher or something.
Luckily my losses in the penny stocks have been under 1k. And those were stocks that were considered less dangerous...geesh.
Too many people lost out on this. I only hope you all have the ability to recover or file chp11 to restart and never look back at garbage like Cyberblow.
After all, what did they sell other than branded items that EVERYONE is selling online for 10% of the price CKYS sells them for? I'm surprised as many people fell for this really. :(
Utah Pirates strike again!
Ok, just my opinion of course, but ALL the scams I have avoided or pushed people away from - stemmed somewhere in Salt Lake , Utah. Or VERY near.
Why is this?
It seems that every clueless super tech guru with the next big thing is holding nothing but lies in these areas.
Like I said, flame away but I've noticed this over and over.
I personally would shoot myself in the head if I did this **** to people as I could never live with myself. Especially when you hear stories of the guy making $35k per year , his wife low 20's and they save save save, he puts EVERYTHING they own into something because of pumpers and positive 'WE GOING BIGTIME' comments from these CEOS - only to have it ALL LOST for these people.
Their lives are totally destroyed and it is very very sad.
There is enough turmoil and negative experiences in life to begin with.
I really feel very sorry for these people and hope that those that brought them there get theirs in this life or the next.
GL to all of you, I really can't believe what happened here. It makes all those other scams look like childs play compare to this. :( Very sad indeed.
The only thing to do is push forward and never look back. If you keep second guessing your decision and being hard on yourselves, you will always be bitter and sad.
There is a paper out there that outlines why rather intelligent people fall for scams in the penny stocks. The jist of it is that they believe their government regulates stocks and companies to the point that there is NO WAY they could possibly lose as much as is possible in the penny stocks. Afterwards, their comments go unheard and they still get NOTHING from the SEC regarding the worlds biggest scam today - The penny stock market.
So sad. What are we paying these people for again?
Im sorry but I must say you really dont know what you are speaking of. Honestly. Do you know the difference between a few people working with millions and a few people working with just making ends meet with minimum wage jobs? Not much. Its money not a genie in a bottle.
Do you even have a concept of how a company works, and how hard it is , especially as a startup working with their $$$ to maximize profits and minimize costs? Keep in mind that this company is publically traded and doing so to raise the money to buy the products in such a volume to sell them at a competitive rate. You understand that I am sure?
Maybe their beginnings look like yuck, but keep in mind that there are days ahead where they will have to look at, and clamp down and attack the financials needed to produce investor strength. They realize that, and are growing...and eventually will move from firms like BA and hire quality people that will work toward strengthening the company.
Just like UWNK, I am not in this to get out with a quick fast buck. Nor was I in Microsoft to hang around for a bit then pull out fast when 95 was released lol.
Patience is for investors that believe. If you dont believe, sell and move on. But considering that most of the pink stocks are scams, at least this company is selling products and advertising their products and their company.
How would you like to see events take place?
The products are co-branded. Look that up. You can be 'cyberkey' overnight.
The website is , a $50 template website.
As for the people answering the phones. THEY ARE REAL, they ARE there and I HAVE TALKED TO JIM.
What does this mean? Well, who CARES if the products are co-branded. My HP tv is actually an LG/Sony.
The website needs help, but I've been on a million websites that are from fortune 500 companies that are garbage, written by someones nephew that 'knows the html'.
Call into the company. Find out for yourselves. This is a real deal! They are on the cusp of becoming a big company imho.
The only thing that scares me is the amount they listed in their UF's for website design/hosting etc. This is definetely INCORRECT as I know many VERY large dynamic sites that only costed the company $20k tops. And these two don't even compare, they aren't even in the same universe.
I feel we are in a good position here. The price does NOT reflect the reality of the company. If we don't see .50 soon I would really be surprised. I'm not asking for much here, but I am asking for people to stop investing in all the GARBAGE pink sheet stocks and start giving respect to real inc's like CKYS!
